Went out to celebrate a friend's birthday last night and had good times. Didn't know what to expect really but even though the place (Colony Bar Main) had the TVs on where the NHL Playoff games were in full swing we got to enjoy each other's company, the food and the overall celebration. Then some us headed to Denny's to have dessert.
Spirit Is and today's Three Card of the Day Spread and Gay Tarot Energy is:
Card For the Day: “V The Priest: The best way to help others is to help them make their own decisions. Wisdom. Advice. A ceremony or ritual.”
A reminder that we are here to advise or convince people to think a certain way or to make decisions based on what we think. We need to ensure that they feel empowered and confident enough to think about situations and make decisions on their own. We need to encourage them to make decisions that are well thought out and live with and by them regardless of the outcome of such decisions as every decision may not lead to the outcome or desire we expect it to. I'm sure that we've all made decisions that have turned sideways on us. And the best way to deal with this is to accept it and carry on...to find another solution.
Attend to This: “6 of Swords: Peaceful Recovery. Serenity and the passage of time help to heal wounds. Stormy emotions are given time to subside, allowing a plan for a solution.”
Feeling a bit blue today, perhaps? Let your "blue" feelings wend their way through your mind. Don't resist feeling "blue", just let yourself be for a spell, let Spirit fill you, let time work its magic and your "blues" should fade away. We all feel "blue" once in awhile so don't fret, maybe stare out the window and give way, allow yourself to daydream a little.
What to Look Out For: “Youth of Wands: Focusing attention on something. Reaching for a goal from a possibly unsteady foundation.”
Patience is required as many us are chasing after our dreams and many a time we do so before we've prepared a solid foundation on which to build our dreams. So take a step back, look over your plans, and redesign them if you will so that your reaching for them from more solid ground. It's better create and build your dreams on something solid so they can grow, evolve and become what you want them to be without fear of them collapsing because of a shaky foundation.
So how do these three cards fit together today? "V The Priest", the "6 of Swords" and the "Youth of Wands"?
We have to realise that we are solely responsible and accountable for our own lives. That we have to think things through and make our decisions, we cannot pass this responsibility onto anyone else except ourselves. We have to accept this responsibility regardless of how it makes us feel and if we are feeling blue over this we must take a break and let our blue feelings subside, subsiding and likely revealing a solution to our dilemmas that we never thought about. A solution that may become the solid foundation on which to build the fulfilment of our dreams and desires.
Think about it. You'll have something to be proud of and something you did all on your own. Take ownership of your life, your feelings and the pursuit and attainment of your dreams and desires. No one else can and no one else should do this for you. Your life is your own and yours to live so don't shirk your responsibilities by trying to place it onto someone else, This is just so you have an excuse and someone to blame other than yourself if things don't go the way you want them to.
Remember, trying and stumbling and falling down is just the precursor to getting up and trying again. Live your life, consciously and proactively live your life and see what a difference it can make.
Thank You Spirit.

V The Priest and Teaching People How To Get To Know Themsleves
When someone transitions out of the physical world it touches you in ways you cannot really prepare for so yesterday we set aside time to simply contemplate life, the life of the person who transitioned and the loved ones she left behind, one them being my brother.
Then my sniffles turned into a full-fledged cold making the day even worse. I was freezing and could not stay warm...the fireplace was such a blessing. I slept okay but tossed and turned a lot...couldn't find a comfortable position and when I slept, my dreams were quite lucid with some relating to the Shaman Tarot. In one dream I was learning how to treat the skin and fur of an animal. Perhaps, sleeping with the Shaman Tarot deck on the bedside table along with red jasper, carnelian and quartz had something to do with my dreams.
Spirit Is and today's Tarot Energy is “V The Priest: The best way to help others is to help them make their own decisions. Wisdom. Advice. A ceremony or ritual.”
And the best to help others make their own decisions is to help them get to know themselves, to accept themselves, to understand themselves, to believe in themselves and to trust themselves. We're all shaped by our experiences so my advice might not be right for another person even though it is right for me. Once they know who they are they will come to discover their place in the world and the contributions they can make to the world and make decisions for themselves that will get them to where they need to go.
Thank You Spirit.

'V The Priest' and Being Responsible for Your Decisions
Wednesday, September 28, 2016. Slept quite well but awoke early so I did my best to meditate as I dozed...focusing on how I'd prefer to live my life instead of how I'm living it now...my focus was less than perfect.
Spirit Is and today's Tarot Energy is “V The Priest: The best way to help others is to help them make their own decisions. Wisdom. Advice. A ceremony or ritual.”
As I was working out at the gym after work, a phrase on a guy's t-shirt caught my attention, a piece of advice-"Just Don't Quit". Thank you very much for that little piece of advice. And that is just what I am determined to do...no quitting for me except that I'm quitting my day job and turning to a full-time career as a Spiritual Guidance Counsellor and a Tarot Reader...I need to quit so I can move into an important and new phase of life...
Advice and making your decisions are the important facets of today. The energy is there to assist and guide you so seek some sage advice, examine every bit and piece of said advice and then make a decision. After making your decision, contemplate how and why you made it, empower yourself to make your next decision on your own without seeking someone else's advice. Keep the power within yourself. Be responsible and take responsibility for your life and your actions.
Thank You Spirit.

'V The Priest' and Being Inspired to Help Others
Thursday, September 15, 2016. So much for sleeping so well. Last night was a night of tossing and turning and just being able to stay asleep. I awoke many, many times and was almost going to stay up at one point but with a lot of help from Spirit, I took a deep breath as I walked around a bit and then crawled back into bed. What magic...I fell asleep again and awoke just as the alarm began to serenade us.
Spirit Is and today's Tarot Energy is “V The Priest: The best way to help others is to help them make their own decisions. Wisdom. Advice. A ceremony or ritual.”
I'm inspired to help others by helping them make their own decisions. I look at this particular "Priest" today and see a bit of myself in him or maybe better put a bit of him in myself. I do not want to have influence over people or lead them in any way but I want to help them find themselves. Then in this way they can spend time getting to know who they are and what makes them tick. Having helped them achieve this bit of self-discovery empowers them to a point where they know that they themselves are accountable and responsible for their own lives and the decisions they make. But they're happy because they have regained knowledge and power and a connection to an infinite source of wisdom that they can tap into through their human spirit.
Thank You Spirit.

'V The Priest' and Being Receptive To Wisdom or Advice That Comes Our Way
Thursday, July 14, 2016. Had a better night's sleep. Felt good to sleep almost until the alarm as well as to have more spiritual and me related dreams rather than ones that dealt with work.
Spirit Is and today's Tarot Energy is “V The Priest: The best way to help others is to help them make their own decisions. Wisdom. Advice. A ceremony or ritual.”
"Wisdom", "Advice" and "A ceremony or ritual” seem to be in our presence. Where the wisdom and advice come from could be from where we least expect it or perhaps even a piece of advertising or an overheard conversation. But more likely, it'll come from someone who is close to you and will be reaffirmed when you look within.
Spirit has something for us that we need to hear!
And some event will likely unfold before us that will indeed be a ceremony or ritual of sorts. Maybe we will fall into it unexpectedly, so-to-speak. We'll be happy and joyous for sure!
Thank You Spirit.
Namaste.

A Day With Friends, Minnekhada Regional Park, and 'V The Priest'
Saturday, July 2, 2016. A day with friends and another visit to Minnekhada Regional Park.
We connected with friends yesterday. They dropped by around noon I think and then we drove over to Cora's in Coquitlam for a nice and healthy lunch before hitting the trails of Minnekhada.
Upon arriving in the park pretty much as we're getting out of the car we were told of, warned about bear sightings along the trails. After chatting with the friendly folk and organising ourselves we were off.
Only a few minutes into leisurely stroll we spotted a couple of bears just off the intersection of two trails. The bears were maybe 3 or 4 years old, not that I'm an expert and were quite skittish so they walked away from us and we from them. After about five minutes of walking and snapping photos of the many waxwings flitting about we spotted the bears in the water across the marsh from us, shutters were speedily capturing images of the two bears frolicking in the water. After our fill of watching the bears we were once again on our way.
We took in the limited view at Addington Lookout before wending our over and up to the High Knoll for a higher and more visible widespread view of the Pitt River and valley below. We took photos and rested for a spell before making our way down with a pit stop to examine some slime mould sitting atop a tree stump.
Once we were back down to the main trail we head back to the parking lot that was about 2.3 km ahead of us. Our pace slowed down to a snail's pace as we watched out for and avoided the hundreds of toadlets that scurried about and hopped along the trail...a challenging task with all us humans frequenting the trail, many of us unaware of these little guys underfoot.
On our drive back to the urban landscape another much larger crossed the road in front of us...a beautiful send off from the gift of nature...
Once arriving home we ordered up a bucket of fried chicken and all the fixings from Re-Up BBQ...delicious...and a couple of half sacks of beer to go along with it from the Paddlewheeler Pub Liquor Store...those most certainly hit the spot.
Our friends departed around 9:30pm and after a quick clean up of dishes and showers, we enjoyed the Canada Day Fireworks set off by the city of New Westminster from the comfort of our balcony...then it was off to bed.
A bit of sleeplessness and a couple of odd dreams later I was up and at 'em and off to a park bench perched along the Fraser River here in New Westminster around 630am...
...pigeons, seagulls, and a lone crow welcome me to the park bench...as I arrived around 6:45 the Sun was shining brightly but has since been shrouded by the gray clouds that fill the sky.
Today's Tarot Card is “V The Priest: The best way to help others is to help them make their own decisions. Wisdom. Advice. A ceremony or ritual.”
And today's Tarot Energy is all about “V The Priest" and helping others gain the knowledge, skills and self-confidence necessary for them to make their decisions. Helping them understand that they alone must decide on the actions they must take in their own lives to change or improve their situations or circumstances.
Thank You Spirit.

'V The Priest' and XX Beyond Jugdement' Bring Freedom and Success
Saturday, April 16, 2016. What a busy and hectic work day that started as soon as I walked in the door and didn't end until I walked out. And on Monday it will start all over again but I'm not going to think about that. As last night we unwound with a visit from a friend, good conversation, and pretty darned good food at Boston Pizza.
Spirit's Time Is Now!
Yesterday's visiting Gay Tarot Energy is “V The Priest: The best way to help others is to help them make their own decisions. Wisdom. Advice. A ceremony or ritual.”
Today's Gay Tarot Energy is “XX Beyond Judgement: Self-acceptance must come before liberation. Freedom from others’ expectations. Trying to make conditions better for others. Altruism. Pride. Self-acceptance.”
Freedom and success can only come from self-acceptance and freeing one's self from the expectations of others. I'm truly a non-conformist and find more often than not that I really do not fit into the same mold as everyone else. I often feel at odds with the rest of society as I do not buy into the expectations of and the "right way" to live in the world. I am an oddball, for sure!
Are we living to work? Or working to live?
I don't want to offend anyone here but why is chasing the almighty dollar the right way to live? What about quality of life? What about chasing after doing what's right for everyone and making sure the world is fair to everyone and that we all have food, shelter, clothing, freedom, safety and security and so forth?
That's enough of me standing on my soapbox...
I wholeheartedly accept myself for who I am and the way I think for I firmly believe that my thoughts, idea, actions and decisions are guided by Spirit and that the path I'm taking is truly the right and only one for me regardless of what others may think!
Thank You Spirit.
Namaste.

'V The Priest' and Empowering Others
Tuesday, March 8, 2016. I'm feeling neutral this day as I'm doing my best to be humble and appreciate and be ever grateful for the job I have while at the same time aim at and devote focus and energy on building my spiritual career.
Today's Gay Spiritual Energy is “V The Priest: The best way to help others is to help them make their own decisions. Wisdom. Advice. A ceremony or ritual.”
If any of us hold a position of power or influence whether real or perceived over another the best thing we can do is to find way to empower that person to gain confidence in the power, knowledge, wisdom, and decision-making power they hold within themselves. We need to build them up and find ways to help them feel the strength, courage, and self-confidence needed to lead their own lives without relying on others for advice or to make decisions for them.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

'5 The Ancestor' and Heeding the Call
Wednesday, September 23rd, 2015. Dreams through the night come and go...dreams about shaving and shaving a little too much of my beard, then shaving so all that is left is a five o'clock shadow. Family, friends, then work. Then I dream about travel, travel in an RV, meeting people and inspiring one another through our spirits.
Spirit Is and today's Tarot Energy is "5 The Ancestor: You have made the leap and started a new cycle. Your instinctive spirit has felt it necessary to lead you to the gateway and a new path. You may have been reluctant or concerned at first, but whether you realize it or not a shift has occurred. You may feel wary of the unknown denizens that await you in the forest, but the ancient Ancestor within you will guide and reassure you as you relearn and greet new experiences on the path. Trust your inner voice. Listen to your instinctive and inquisitive nature. Your inner Ancestor is strong, patient and wise. Let them lead you into the forest with new eyes and a joyful heart."
My focus on the present and how I want to shape my future and how I see my future unfolding is becoming very precise and directed in the finest of details. It's great how relaxed and patient I've become in shaping my future even though I'd like to be living such a life today and realistically speaking I already am. More work needs to be done but the energy is there, the momentum is moving in the direction I want it to go and I'm more deeply spiritual and understanding of my spiritual calling.
Let your soul come alive, take a quiet moment and listen...what do you hear? ? Is there a whispering voice in your head that you just can't shake? Well, pay attention to it! Is your ancestor calling you, calling you into action, to forge a new path, to take up a new calling?
Close your eyes for a moment and let Spirit show you who you really are and where you need to go in and with your life. Now open your eyes and follow the path laid out before you and be guided by "the ancient Ancestor within you".
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

V The Priest and the Sage of Coins
Saturday, March 7th, 2015. The illusive weekend is here once again. Although my job is not bad at all I do enjoy my weekends and I also enjoy the lazy evenings we've been having for so very long. I enjoy the relaxed lifestyle we have created for ourselves and make no apologies for it. The reason I'm enjoying this lifestyle and journey so much is that I'm in a comfortable home, engaged in a hobby I've been passionate about for years, am going to add another facet to this is as well, and I'm engaged in spiritual journey that has been with and me for an eternity.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot Card is “V The Priest: The best way to help others is to help them make their own decisions. Wisdom. Advice. A ceremony or ritual” with a bit of direction coming from the “Sage of Coins: Working with resources rather than trying to control them. A mature appreciation of the natural world. Patience."
My heart is beating in tune with, in unison with the heartbeat of the universe. My path is set and I'm on a journey that I must follow through to the end. I as we all are am filled with the eternal wisdom of the cosmos and the ancestors that travelled this path before me our now guiding my way.
We are all connected to the ancient and unfailing wisdom of the cosmos and if we are willing to hear it, to listen to it, to open our eyes, minds, and spirits to its calling and work in harmony with it a whole new world will open up for us. What appears before us may appear daunting however if we listen to our inner voices and let our instincts guide us we will embark on a journey and live life in ways unimaginable.
Respect and love life. Respect and love each other.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

V The Priest and the Ace of Swords
Wednesday, January 28th, 2015. Another night of Tarot and model railroading is what I spent my time on last night. Then I relaxed for about an hour before crawling into bed. I had a great night's sleep and was once again awoken by the alarm.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot Card is “V The Priest: The best way to help others is to help them make their own decisions. Wisdom. Advice. A ceremony or ritual" with some direction from the “Ace of Swords: An idea. Starting to develop a plan or strategy.”
Our spirituality is very important and we must do all that we can to keep true to our spirituality protect our rights to believe as we do as well as the freedom of others to follow their spirituality that also brings love, peace, and enlightenment to this world.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The 10 of Swords and V The Priest
Saturday, January 3rd, 2015. Yesterday was an awfully long work day but one where my roles and responsibilities at work have expanded and grown tremendously. I do not mind taken on these on however I'd like to have a better outline and understanding of what is expected of me. Information given in a piecemeal fashion is difficult to comprehend and understand is at is so fluid and changes constantly. I'll do my best to manage.
I've also come down with a cold. I hate colds especially when they interfere so much with my breathing--congestion and a stuffed up nose make me pretty darned miserable but I'll get through and over this soon enough.
Having a cold brought about a very quiet evening and an early bedtime that I truly appreciated as I did awake a few times throughout the night.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot Card is the “10 of Swords: You Choose the Script. You can choose to plug yourself into a negative viewpoint, or to unplug yourself from one. The end of a bad situation. Hysterical overreaction" with further clarification from “V The Priest: The best way to help others is to help them make their own decisions. Wisdom. Advice. A ceremony or ritual.”
I choose the loving guidance and love of Spirit to take on my new roles and responsibilities as well as to steer me away from and clear of negative thoughts and thinking patterns. I grasp hold of my hidden talents and bring them into the light of day so that I can fulfill my new roles and responsibilities with my spiritual gifts of an open mind, objectivity, strength, honour, and the courage to move ahead when more is expected of me.
Thank You Spirit.
Let's not let the apparent burdens in our lives get us or weigh us down. Choose the loving light and guidance of Spirit to see you through. Grasp hold of the strength and courage that resides within you to overcome and rise above what is holding you down, likely of your own doing. Face the music as the saying goes and choose for yourself a new path that brings you out of the mud ad mire you've gotten yourself into and rise above it all as Spirit guides you onto your new path.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

7 of Wands and V The Priest
Monday, December 8th, 2014. We had a nice busy weekend. Yesterday we hosted a friend for dinner that by the way turned out better than expected—Santa Fe Chilli topped off with sour cream and cheddar cheese. We cheated and picked up a blueberry pie and vanilla ice cream from a couple of our local grocers. And sleep was good even with awaking around 5:00am.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “7 of Wands: Fighting the wind. A Quixotic struggle. Winning against the odds. Confrontation” with added meaning added by V The Priest: The best way to help others is to help them make their own decisions. Wisdom. Advice. A ceremony or ritual.”
Although, we may face difficulties and difficult decisions in life each of us often have the knowledge and resources necessary to make good decisions. Our decisions must be firm and unwavering so we can move on and continue to work cooperatively with Spirit. And an added bonus is that most of us also have a great support network of family, friends, and loved ones that will stand behind us or even guide us to make our decisions through much thought and foresight.
So let’s muster the strength, courage, and faith to make unwavering decisions that help us turn the corner and move ahead in life.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

V The Priest and the 8 of Cups
Wednesday, November 12th, 2014. We had a slow start to the day then headed out to our friends place for a lunch of waffles, bacon, and sausage. We strolled along False Creek to the Main Street Skytrain Station where we hopped aboard a train and headed home. I slept rather well then active dreams popped up as the alarm drew near. I was likely in a semi-conscious state as I was aware but asleep at the same time, if this makes any sense at all.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is “V The Priest: The best way to help others is to help them make their own decisions. Wisdom. Advice. A ceremony or ritual.” And along for a bit of clarification is the “8 of Cups: Farewell. Moving on. Leaving behind a person, a situation, or a part of yourself.”
I see these cards as a sign that if we help others even ourselves learn how to and that we can make decisions and good decisions at that we’ll learn how to move on and break free of things that may be holding us back. We may be faced with a hard decision or two but we must learn that we have to stand up on our own two feet, make decisions on our own and know that we are strong enough to handle the outcome of such decisions knowing that we made them to the best of our abilities and the information at hand.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

V The Priest and VIII Justice and Coming to Decisions
Wednesday, November 5th, 2014. Sleep was fantastic last night. I did awake briefly for a bathroom break or so I remember but the next thing I know I was just becoming consciousness when the alarm sounded. What a nice way to awake. The only better way to awake is to awake when I awake without the help or interruption of an alarm. Soon this may be more than a wish a simply the way it is.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot card is “V The Priest: The best way to help others is to help them make their own decisions. Wisdom. Advice. A ceremony or ritual.”, with support from “VIII Justice: Even today, gays can be the victims of “justice”. An unfair judgment. Being too judgemental or righteous. Feeling restricted by others’ expectations.”
To best move ahead and away from feeling restricted by living up to or for others’ expectations is to learn to make own decisions through research and gaining as information as I can in order to the most educated decision I can. A reminder that launching my website is solely up to me and I need to gather more information in order to make the decision to launch my new website. As well I need to do the same when it comes to making a decision about purchasing a used but new to me van conversion.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

V The Priest, Leaving the Past Behind to Catch Up with the Future
Friday, May 2nd, 2014. As I expected today was a bit of a tough day at work made even worse by a migraine that stayed with me for most of the day. On top of the migraine I knew I’d get grief over the doubling up of the milk products order I inadvertently placed yesterday. I have no idea what I was thinking but I accepted responsibility for the error and tried to move on. However, there is this incessant electrical humming and buzzing noise that is driving me up the wall that started earlier this week. It seems to be at a frequency that drives me batty. I’m really disturbed by it. Other than this the day has been relatively good, I suppose. I awoke around 4am and dozed off and on until the alarm.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is “V The Priest: The best way to help others is to help them make their own decisions. Wisdom. Advice. A ceremony or ritual.”
I think I’m clinging too much to the past and blocking change I my life. A possible way of changing this is to surrender myself to the will and guidance of Spirit through meditation, ceremony, and ritual. I need to especially meditate and use candles in order to find a path on which I can leave the past behind me and move forward to the future I’ve wanted to live for many years. It can only happen by leaving the past behind me by really learning from the mistakes I’ve and making the changes necessary to get to where I want to be.
I see glimpses of the future that is waiting for me but I need to find my away around the obstacles of fear, worry, and anxiety so I catch up to my future that is waiting for me before it forever leaves me behind.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

V The Priest, 9 of Swords, 7 of Wands
Sunday, April 20, 2014. I awoke a little earlier than I thought I would but I dozed for about another 30 minutes. When I first opened my eyes it was 6am and I finally crawled out of bed around 6:30am, I think.
Yesterday we made a jaunt over to one of the local malls where I picked a pair of jeans, some casual pants, and short-sleeve button up shirt. Although, I enjoyed spending the day out with my partner being in the mall depressed me. I don’t like the rat-race.
Once back home we did a few chores (I got rid of a few items of clothing) before settling in the for the evening. My thoughts often turned to living in a van conversion and not my motorhome. A van conversion was in my thoughts as it is smaller than my RV and would be less conspicuous if parked on the street with me living in it. And this is where my thoughts were going—trading in the car and getting rid of the RV and moving into a van conversion. Although I am comfortable with my life and do genuinely love my partner and enjoy my relationship I feel that something is missing, something is wrong with this life I find myself living.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is “V The Priest: The best way to help others is to help them make their own decisions. Wisdom. Advice. A ceremony or ritual.”
Although this card somewhat signifies traditional paths or traditional patterns of behavior it also points to the possible need of a teacher, guide, or guru so I’m opening myself up to receiving a teacher, guide, or guru into my life in whatever form it takes. Paying more attention to my dreams, taking note of passages from a book or magazine that strike me as having significance or running into a person that touches me as being an important person to welcome into my life at this moment.
The “V The Priest” is not alone in his message to me to search for answers as the “9 of Swords: Unquiet Dreams. Stress. Worries. Mental tapes which play over and over.”
is also pointing in this direction. I need to break through, break free of this illusion that I think is my life and get down to the dirty little details of my life that are causing me some anxiety and worry. What do I have hidden in the deep recesses of my mind that I haven’t dealt with that now need to come to the surface and be taken care of once and for all? I need to wake up and face the face the facts. A time to refocus and make a tweak her and tweak there so my goals are more than just within reach but something I’m living and experiencing in the here and now.
What do I personally want in life? What are my convictions? Am I stopping myself from living my life my way for the sake of others? Am I placing more importance on what others think and believe rather than on what I believe and want out of life?
These are the questions that the repeat visit of the “7 of Wands: Fighting the wind. A Quixotic struggle. Winning against the odds. Confrontation.”
is asking me to confront and answer.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The Guide of Cups, Altrusim, and Cards of the Year
Saturday, March 22, 2014. Happy Birthday to Me!
Yesterday turned out to be a great day. It started out well and got even better as the seconds, minutes, and hours of the day ticked on by. A second job interview became a job offer that I accepted. I start my new job bright and early on Monday—7:45am. Thank you Spirit. The sun shined all day, we got out together for a coffee and a quick walk; I made an Angel Food and Strawberry Tunnel, cake; I spoke with my brother-we’re meeting for breakfast later this morning; and we had friends over for tea and cake.
And then in about twenty minute’s time I’ll be off to the gym…
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Guide of Cups: Messages from your heart. Altruism.”
Thoughts have been more loving, caring, and compassionate. More understanding and reflective too! I’m extending my understanding of this world and my place in it by experiencing it with Spirit. I’m trying my best to reach out with Spirit so I can have a deeper understanding of the world and the people in it. I’m trying my best to experience the world with my spiritual body more than my physical one, trying my best to be more divinely aware.
I also looked at my Card of the Year and strictly numerically speaking it is “V The Priest: The best way to help others is to help them make their own decisions. Wisdom. Advice. A ceremony or ritual.” However, if I try to make it more personal the Card of the Year that appears is “VIII Justice: Even today, gays can be the victims of “justice”. An unfair judgment. Being too judgmental or righteous. Feeling restricted by others’ expectations.”
Either way I see the year ahead as one best being experienced with a loving and compassionate heart, where the truth must prevail, and where I must let the past be the past and turn over a new leaf and be all that I can be in and for the year ahead.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

V The Priest and Embracing Spirit
Spirit is a wonderful gift and presence to have in one’s life. Spirit is a wonderful life to live. Spirit is life.
I’m not sure what prompted me to write the three sentences above but they came out without any thought or pause as to what I was writing, I simply tapped away on the keys. These past several days especially have been a great time of spirituality for me as I’m not only focused on my crafts I am also focused on Spirit and Spirit’s presence in my life, in all that I do, and all that I am.
Yesterday was a day of crafting, of being lazy, being spiritual, being connected with Spirit, being connected with life, and being totally absent from everything. A sunny, lazy Saturday, morning, afternoon, and evening. I did work on my crafts and did eventually get immersed into my crafting zone so my day had progress about it. The best way to get into my crafting zone is to simply focus on the cards and let myself go with nary a thought about what I’m doing or the colours I think I need to choose to paint a stamped image or the colour of paper to mount it on. It’ll come to be with ease if I simply let go.
The same goes for Spirit, simply let go and Spirit does all the rest, simply be and let Spirit reign supreme. I embrace Spirit and all energy that comes my way and embrace the experience as it is, a gift of presence, of knowledge, of wisdom, of life, of simply being.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is “V The Priest: The best way to help others is to help them make their own decisions. Wisdom. Advice. A ceremony or ritual.”
A balance of conforming an non-conforming, of following the rules and going your own way, embracing the group and yet knowing when to leave, leaning on another’s shoulder in times of need and support and of spreading your wings and soaring high above and finding your own way. Of trust.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

"V The Priest", Non-Comformity, and Commonsense
We had an unexpected day yesterday as we hung out with friends for most of the day. A quick visit from one and then we drove around and window shopped with a couple of hours after lunch. Oh, we went out for breakfast at De Dutch Pannekoek House and I had their Farmer’s Omelet that was a meal and half for me but I managed to eat it all but it filled me for the day. My only qualm with my breakfast was that it was almost $20, good and what I wanted but a bit pricey for breakfast.
We didn’t get home until sometime after 8pm likely closer to 9 so our relaxing evening before bed was short. I don’t mind though, it’s great to hang out with friends once in awhile.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is “V The Priest: The best way to help others is to help them make their own decisions. Wisdom. Advice. A promise. A ceremony or ritual."
I try to be myself, a bit unorthodox, a bit of a non-conformist but I also know that I have to live in reality as well as keep my wits and commonsense about me. Today’s card for me at least re-enforces the need for me to grow some of my talents so I’m an expert or professional in each of them. I can focus on a few that are all somewhat related in that they can also be classified as hobbies. But what I want to do with them is take them to the next level, becoming a professional in each hobby and maybe earning a few dollars from each profession-crafting, ventriloquism, and one hobby that I wish to remain a mystery for now…crafting as in handcrafted greeting cards is an area I excel in, beading I’m learning quite quickly, ventriloquism I’m at an amateur level and simply need to practice and become a “natural” at it otherwise known as a professional and then my other hobby, a mystery for now is in the planning stages and close to becoming a reality…and of course getting a little expert advice in each of these areas is something I also plan on doing.
Thank You Spirit.
