Three Card of the Day Spread: "V The Priest", "6 of Swords", and "Youth of Wands"

Went out to celebrate a friend's birthday last night and had good times.  Didn't know what to expect really but even though the place (Colony Bar Main) had the TVs on where the NHL Playoff games were in full swing we got to enjoy each other's company, the food and the overall celebration.  Then some us headed to Denny's to have dessert.

Spirit Is and today's Three Card of the Day Spread and Gay Tarot Energy is:
Card For the Day: “V The Priest: The best way to help others is to help them make their own decisions.  Wisdom.  Advice.  A ceremony or ritual.”

A reminder that we are here to advise or convince people to think a certain way or to make decisions based on what we think.  We need to ensure that they feel empowered and confident enough to think about situations and make decisions on their own.  We need to encourage them to make decisions that are well thought out and live with and by them regardless of the outcome of such decisions as every decision may not lead to the outcome or desire we expect it to.  I'm sure that we've all made decisions that have turned sideways on us.  And the best way to deal with this is to accept it and carry on...to find another solution.

Attend to This: “6 of Swords: Peaceful Recovery.  Serenity and the passage of time help to heal wounds.  Stormy emotions are given time to subside, allowing a plan for a solution.”

Feeling a bit blue today, perhaps?  Let your "blue" feelings wend their way through your mind.  Don't resist feeling "blue", just let yourself be for a spell, let Spirit fill you, let time work its magic and your "blues" should fade away.  We all feel "blue" once in awhile so don't fret, maybe stare out the window and give way, allow yourself to daydream a little.

What to Look Out For: “Youth of Wands: Focusing attention on something.  Reaching for a goal from a possibly unsteady foundation.”

Patience is required as many us are chasing after our dreams and many a time we do so before we've prepared a solid foundation on which to build our dreams.  So take a step back, look over your plans, and redesign them if you will so that your reaching for them from more solid ground.  It's better create and build your dreams on something solid so they can grow, evolve and become what you want them to be without fear of them collapsing because of a shaky foundation.

So how do these three cards fit together today?  "V The Priest", the "6 of Swords" and the "Youth of Wands"?

We have to realise that we are solely responsible and accountable for our own lives.  That we have to think things through and make our decisions, we cannot pass this responsibility onto anyone else except ourselves.  We have to accept this responsibility regardless of how it makes us feel and if we are feeling blue over this we must take a break and let our blue feelings subside, subsiding and likely revealing a solution to our dilemmas that we never thought about.  A solution that may become the solid foundation on which to build the fulfilment of our dreams and desires.

Think about it.  You'll have something to be proud of and something you did all on your own.  Take ownership of your life, your feelings and the pursuit and attainment of your dreams and desires.  No one else can and no one else should do this for you.  Your life is your own and yours to live so don't shirk your responsibilities by trying to place it onto someone else,  This is just so you have an excuse and someone to blame other than yourself if things don't go the way you want them to.

Remember, trying and stumbling and falling down is just the precursor to getting up and trying again.  Live your life, consciously and proactively live your life and see what a difference it can make.

Thank You Spirit.

The "6 of Swords" and Overcoming Our Own Personal Self-Created Emotional Storms

Mostly a lazy sit at home day.  We did go out for an afternoon coffee and grocery run after dinner but what a relaxing day it was.  Today will likely be no different considering that it is the beginning of March and snow is falling, falling here in the Metro Vancouver where we're usually basking in spring-like weather this time of year.  Could be soggy and rainy but it tends to be warm and everything has turned green and our allergies have run amok.  Climate change.  It's predicted that this region will soon be experiencing the same type of weather as San Diego.

Before crawling into bed last night.  I pulled The Celestine Prophecy off the bookshelf as I was thinking about the vibration levels of Spirit and Nature and my need to slow down my energetic vibration levels.  I might even grab The Wizard Within so I can flip through its pages as well.  I'm going to re-read The Celestine Prophecy though.  But after I'm finished Spells of Blood and Kin of which I'm getting close to the end.

Spirit Is and today's Gay Tarot Energy is the “6 of Swords: Peaceful Recovery.  Serenity and the passage of time help to heal wounds.  Stormy emotions are given time to subside, allowing a plan for a solution.”
Today, we might have to work through our dark and cloudy emotions which might simply be the result of our own struggles and not have to do with anyone else or our interactions with them.  These are simply emotions that we riled up by our own doing.  Now we have to work our way through them and see the shining solution on the other side.

Wounds heal especially when we allow them to.  Feel the hurt and pain, acknowledge it, where it came from, how it happened but then start the healing process and let it carry you to a better place.  Don't wallow in these low level emotions otherwise they get worse and more difficult to shake off and move away from.  Get up, shake yourself off, stand tall and get on with living, you've much more living to do.

Thank You Spirit.

A 3-Card of the Day Spread from the Gay Tarot Deck

My how time gets away from us sometimes.  I finished work at the usual time and was home shortly after 5pm and was going about my evening patiently waiting until I had to head out to the airport to pick up my partner around 10pm.  Well, wouldn't you know it, by the time I cleaned up a bit, had dinner, and grabbed a shower I barely had time to write about yesterday's Tarot.  So I was rushing to at least get something posted and headed out.  Instead of the trip taking the 30 - 45 minutes it usually does, I got to the airport in about twenty minutes and had plenty of time to spare.  While waiting I wrote and people watched, not much to watch mind you at such a late hour so I spent most of my time with my head in my notebook and pen in hand.

Spirit Is and today's Gay Tarot Energy is and I am “XVI Revelation: While it is usually best to tell the truth about yourself to those who are close to you, it can be a painful experience.  A necessary destruction of the status quo.  Having to tell someone an unwelcome truth.  A new idea which upsets others.”

Supporting Cards today:

What needs to be attended to is the “6 of Cups: Happy Birthday.  Fond memories.  A gift given in friendship or love.”

And what to look out for is the "Guide of Swords: A wider perspective.  Altruistic thoughts.  Messages from the higher self."
Today is a day about truth but being truthful in  a sensitive and respectful manner with the understanding that it may be difficult for some of those to you to take in a deal with.  The best way to approach this is to plan and be as prepared as possible for the consequences of such revelations.  Consequences both expected and unexpected.  Those hearing the painful truth may definitely need time and space to absorb the shock they are experiencing over what you tell them.  The best way to help them is give of yourself, let your love and respect for them pour out and wrap around them.  Connect with them spirit to spirit.  Keeping your emotions in check and as cool as possible.  Don't let them get enflamed by your loved ones possibly lashing out at you over what they hear.  It is even advisable to take a step back and see the larger picture here and gain perspective of how your relationship will change and the new dynamics that will come into play.

Thank You Spirit.

Friday, February 17, 2017.

Sorry I skipped a day to do some house cleaning and organizing and boy do I feel good now.  What a difference it made.  It made such a difference that I slept through the night, not awaking once...not a single memory of stirring at any point.

Spirit Is and yesterday's Gay Tarot Energy was the “6 of Swords: Peaceful Recovery.  Serenity and the passage of time help to heal wounds.  Stormy emotions are given time to subside, allowing a plan for a solution.”
Today's Gay Tarot Energy is and I am the “5 of Wands: The Hockey Game.  The project meets resistance.  Testing one’s ideas against others.  An enjoyable struggle.  Competition in the marketplace."
Competition is never to be feared.  Competition should make you look at what you're offering and contemplate whether or not you can make any improvements or find ways to move above and beyond your competition and be in a league of your own.  With every challenge there lies a solution, a way to get out of the sticky situation and rise above it all.  So have no fear about hiccups, detours or competition.  All such things should get you inspired, think outside of the box and challenge your expectations of yourself and where you aim to be.

Thank You Spirit.

The 6 of Swords and Leaving Emotions Alone and Giving Them Time to Heal

A decent night of sleep and a willingness to get up and go to a job that I'm in the process of trying to leave to fulfil my goal and be the full-time Spiritual Guide and Tarot Reader that I am.  Dreams of sitting at a desk or table and talking into a camera played through my mind last night.  I was discussing why I chose to do what I'm doing and how I think Tarot is an important part of a strong and loving spiritual life...such relaxing and inviting dreams.

Spirit Is and today's Gay Tarot Energy is the “6 of Swords: Peaceful Recovery.  Serenity and the passage of time help to heal wounds.  Stormy emotions are given time to subside, allowing a plan for a solution.”
I'm drawing a blank on this “6 of Swords" energy for the day.  I coming up with nothing more than what is suggested by the little booklet that comes with the deck...I'm okay with this...it happens.

Thank You Spirit.

The '6 of Swords' is Here For You

Thursday, April 14, 2016.  Aahhh...it was a very nice sleep that I had.  Glad to awake with a strong sense of Spirit in thought, mind, and body.

Spirit's time is now and today's Gay Tarot Energy is the “6 of Swords: Peaceful Recovery.  Serenity and the passage of time help to heal wounds.  Stormy emotions are given time to subside, allowing a plan for a solution.

The “6 of Swords" is speaking to some of you and Spirit is asking you to listen.  Look carefully at where your emotions and emotions of your household having taken you over the last couple of days.  See that you need to take a moment to find a small oasis of serenity to allow a peaceful spiritual salve to wash over you and soothe your raw emotions.

Solutions will come as a plan forms in your heart and mind thus allowing your spirit to take positive action and bring a spiritual light that will guide you to where you need to go.

Thank You Spirit.

The '6 of Swords' and Recognizing Bad Energy and Bringing it to an End

Monday, April 11, 2016.  Sundays are an odd day for me as I really like to do nothing more than relaxing the entire day.  I like my Sundays to be quite literally, boring!

But at the same time I do enjoy the odd outing or two such as we did yesterday.  First driving out to Serenity and giving her a jump followed by a quick drive around a big block.  Then we headed over to take a peak in Simons in West Vancouver.  A small purchase there was followed by a great lunch at the in store cafe "éve".  We then returned home and relaxed before having to meet up with a friend a for drinks.  He had a meal while we each had tea and dessert.

Spirit's time has come...and today's Gay Tarot Spirit is the “6 of Swords: Peaceful Recovery.  Serenity and the passage of time help to heal wounds.  Stormy emotions are given time to subside, allowing a plan for a solution.
I was a bit short with my partner throughout the day yesterday.  I recognized it and did my best stem the flow of bad energy I was producing as a result.  Thankfully, it subsided by the evening and I had positive thoughts and emotions throughout the remainder of the evening and this also extended into my dreams.  Very nice.

I was filled with the idea to create some great positive energy when I got home this evening as I have the place to myself for almost two hours so that's what I did.  I first lit a candle and incense before finding Parachute Club's - Rise up on YouTube and cranked the music up and filled the place with much spirit and energy that did indeed rise up with me.

A solutions rises with us, a solution to move forward with my continuing studies of Tarot and relying more on Spirit's guidance, knowledge, and wisdom as I contemplate each card, each card of the day, and each reading I do whether for me or someone else.  I have the knowledge, the wisdom, the nature of Tarot within me.

Thank You Spirit.

'VI The Lovers' and Letting a Decision Sing to Your Soul

Saturday, April 9, 2016.  A few nights ago as I was falling asleep a Gay Tarot Reading came into my mind and these were the cards that found their way into the reading:

WHAT'S AT HAND - "XI Strength: Directing your passions, rather than suppressing them, is the key.  Finding healthy outlets for powerful energies.

PAST INFLUENCES - “7 of Swords: The Messenger.  Carrying your plans through obstacles.  Speed is important.  Someone brings news or a message.  Carelessness.

PONDER THIS - “6 of Swords: Peaceful Recovery.  Serenity and the passage of time help to heal wounds.  Stormy emotions are given time to subside, allowing a plan for a solution.

WHAT TO DO - “2 of Cups: The Dialogue.  A balanced relationship.  Being able to see things from the other’s perspective.

An interesting grouping of cards and a great message.  Thank You Spirit.

Slept rather well last night, did awake a few times but slept in and got out of bed to be welcomed by a bright and beautiful morning.

With candle lit, and Dragon's Blood Incense smoking Spirit, Pagan Tarot and meditated together and today's Pagan Tarot Energy is "VI The Lovers - A decision, a commitment, is placed before us, much like a fork in the road or two opposite paths which beckon to us. We must ask ourselves which of the choices open to us is the one that speaks to our soul. We must make our choices for the right reasons."

Which choice sings to our soul?  For me my soul soars, leaps, runs, jumps, and sings when I envision living life on the road.  In fact, each time I find myself driving long distances my soul is soothed and filled with much light, love and peace.  I am a true spiritual nomad and find life much more enjoyable when I'm on the move.  My roots are with Spirit and wherever I go.

I believe that when we are guided by Spirit our decisions will always be the right ones.  We may find bumps in the road and have one or more detours to take along the way but the decision is the best one we can make at this time.

Thank You Spirit.

Namaste.

A Reading From the Fortune Telling Mat: I The Magician, 2 of Cups, 9 of Wands and 6 of Swords

Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 2:01pm and I'd like to write here that I did a reading for myself a little more than 30 minutes ago using my Fortune Telling Mat that came with "Tarot: The Complete Kit" and my Gay Tarot Deck.  This is what the reading came up with:

WHAT'S AT HAND - "I The Magician: To live fully, one must create a life, not merely react to it.  Creativity.   Ability.  Making something happen.

PAST INFLUENCES - “2 of Cups: The Dialogue.  A balanced relationship.  Being able to see things from the other’s perspective.

PONDER THIS - “9 of Wands: Don’t mess with me.  Defensiveness.  Putting up barriers to avoid intimacy."

WHAT TO DO - “6 of Swords: Peaceful Recovery.  Serenity and the passage of time help to heal wounds.  Stormy emotions are given time to subside, allowing a plan for a solution.

To live life fully, have an honest conversation with yourself; stop being so defensive about everything; have some patience and let your wounds heal and once and for all leave your emotional scars behind you.

I want to control the direction of my life so therefore I must honestly look at myself and pull away layer after layer until all that's left is the raw material that is me.  I  must shed the layers skin and mask so that I reveal my real identity to myself thus revealing why I tend to be and am always seemingly on the defensive.  In this process I'm likely to open up old unhealed wounds that once put out to the open can finally be dealt with honestly, truthfully so everlasting love and healing can wrap around me, allowing me to heal fully and entirely inside and out.  Light, love and peace all around.  Then an honest a true solution will be revealed and found giving me the life I not only ultimately want but also deeply need.

Thank You Spirit.

Wednesday, March 9, 2016

Wednesday, March 9,2016.  Today's Gay Tarot Energy is the “6 of Swords: Peaceful Recovery.  Serenity and the passage of time help to heal wounds.  Stormy emotions are given time to subside, allowing a plan for a solution.

The “6 of Swords" represents any type of emotional or stormy incident in our lives that diminish as we allow ourselves to recognize, acknowledge and feel the pain associated with it.  Denying that an emotional storm erupted and took place only serves to exacerbate and deepen the wound or wounds we feel unnecessarily so.  It is painful so let the pain be real and feel it, do not hide from it.  Then serenity takes hold and our eyes, minds, hearts and spirits open allowing clarity to take hold and real solutions to emerge.

A surprise or something that's been there all along...solutions come in many shapes and sizes and from types of sources so never doubt it when a solution taps you on the shoulder and says "here I am".

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

The '6 of Swords' and Soothing Stormy Emotions

Friday, February 12, 2016.  A sleepless night had me tossing and turning for three or four hours.  Thankfully, I had a busy day so any sleepiness I could have felt with a quiet day has not reared its ugly head...until now, that is!  But that's fine by me and since it's not a job day tomorrow, I'm looking forward to a really good night's sleep.

Spirit Is and today's Gay Tarot Energy is the “6 of Swords: Peaceful Recovery.  Serenity and the passage of time help to heal wounds.  Stormy emotions are given time to subside, allowing a plan for a solution.

The only "stormy emotions" I'm dealing with are my own, as I allow myself to get all riled up with worry and anxiety over things I just do not need worry about or stress over yet, I do it again and again, those darned mental tapes that the "9 of Swords" alluded to yesterday that haunted me not only last night but the night before as well.

Luckily for me though, the “6 of Swords" has brought more peaceful energy into my day and I'm feeling happy, joyous, exuberant, and very much in love.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

The '6 of Swords' and Overcoming an Emotional Storm

Sunday, January 31, 2016.  The first thirty-one days and the first month of the year are almost behind us.  What a quick start to the year it's been.  Although, the last couple of weeks were slower than usual at the job...a job I need to part from so I can really live my life.  Often people run away from things but in this case I feel like I'm running to something or at least I want to run to something.  And that is toward living life, living my life with purpose, my true purpose, the reason I'm here at this time and in this place.  I'm Wizard Oron--Reverend, Spiritualist, Tarot Intuitive, Chakra Worker and Mystical Researcher.  How may I be of service to you?

Today's Gay Tarot Energy is “6 of Swords: Peaceful Recovery.  Serenity and the passage of time help to heal wounds.  Stormy emotions are given time to subside, allowing a plan for a solution.

If it's been a bit of or maybe even a wholly rough emotional weekend for you up to this point, today is all about overcoming those rough raw emotions with a peaceful salve that will return balance and harmony to your household so that you can discover a plan and draw up a solution for what brought about the discord in the first place.

Don't, don't rush.   Allow the peacefulness and serenity of Spirit be your guide.  Don't fret, don't panic and don't try so hard.  Let the plan and solution come to you.  And it will.  Believe and have faith.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

Diane's Tarot - Ace of Bows, My Tarot - The 6 of Swords

Sunday, July 19th, 2015.  We had a very relaxing day yesterday.  We picked up a couple of friends and took a walk through Pacific Spirit Regional Park.  We walked through the trails for about two and a half hours and just shy of eight kilometres.

For lunch we headed over to Moderne Burger, where as always we had a great burger and a lively conversation with Peter.  Drop in for a burger and introduce yourself to Peter.  After our stomachs were filled and our hunger satiated we made a quick drive over to Banyen Books where we browsed books, magazine, trinkets, and other spiritually satisfying items that momentarily caught our minds and attention.  We parted company at the bookstore, our friends taking their leave but inviting us over for a meal, a BBQ, a couple of weeks down the road.

We slowly made our way out of the bookstore and leisurely made our way back home.  We simply relaxed before I turned my attention to calling my brother and finalizing our dinner arrangements.  The Old Spaghetti Factory was just the spot.  We had more great food and caught up with my brother as our conversation went this way and that.  My brother headed home around 9:30pm.

An overall satisfying day where great spiritual energy abounded and we spent quality time with a few of the  important people in our lives.  I relaxed as best as I could before crawling into bed.  As much as I tried not to, I let other people's opinions influence and cast doubt in my mind about my desired purchase of a camper van.  I tossed and turned for an hour or so before coming to the realisation that they have my best interest in mind but ultimately the decision is mine to make.  And as this thought carried away the stress of doubt and worry clarity filled my mind and I felt comfort with my monthly financial budget accepting that adjustments will have to be made.  Mostly in the area of frivolous spending.  My money instead of being spent on impulse and needless purchases is now going toward a long held dream of mine and something of importance to me.

Thank You Spirit.

This morning as I awoke I felt the need to draw a card of the day for Diane, no idea where this came from however, Diane this is the Tarot of the Day for you: " Ace of Bows, Spark of Life: By shaping, directing and persevering with the tool that both hunts and nurtures fire, we kindle the spark that starts the process of creation and empowerment.  This takes skill, effort, commitment and persistence, but the universe always responds with enlightenment, challenge and opportunity.  This is the nature of the human relationship with creation, and leads to a deeper awareness of the part we must play in the great scheme of things.  Harnessing the energy inherent in the bow, and the skill and endurance needed to loose the hunter's arrows accurately and efficiently, are as primal and ancient as human existence itself.  Every native tribe on Earth developed the bow as a tool, and choosing, shaping and tuning the bow stave and the arrows is a time-consuming and demanding craft that hones our skills and widens our knowledge of all materials required in this ancient art.  This also includes the habits and patterns of nature associated with the prey the hunter seeks and may infuse the archer with a new respect and reverence for the creatures that inhabit the Wildwood.  Be prepared to learn new skills, adapt to a changing environment and focus and tune your instincts to the task at hand."

Diane as you can you see, it is incumbent on you to learn, adapt, endure, commit, understand, and allow yourself to be enlightened this day.  You have it in you to learn, and adapt as well as persevere if you apply yourself and harness the natural inner core of strength that resides within you.  Focus on Spirit and allow spirit to enrich and strengthen your resolve to develop and move forward with your dreams, goals, desires and passions.  Unleash the momentum of your spirit to get you moving forward and giving you the momentum needed to get you across that finish line.

My Tarot of the Day is the “6 of Swords: Peaceful Recovery.  Serenity and the passage of time help to heal wounds.  Stormy emotions are given time to subside, allowing a plan for a solution.”

I'm choosing to harness positive energies during this time of what I'll refer to as "somewhat uncertainty" especially around the purchase of the 2005 Pleasure Way Excel TS van.  In relating my anticipated purchase of this unit some people are challenging my decision to do so, albeit respectfully and with good intentions however, I've been giving this suggestion of doubt more energy than it deserves.  In an honest analysis of my desire to move ahead with I sincerely feel, no, make that know that I can handle this purchase with a serious and focused attention on and to my finances.  I'll need to analyze every and count every penny I spend and in hindsight should have always been doing this so as I can make this purchase not only work for me but my relationship and financial contribution to it.

Negative energy really has no room in our lives for the more we focus on it the stronger it becomes.  The more energy we give to it the more time we spend fretting about it and the more we let it take over our lives.  It's tough, I know, to let negativity go or to find ways to move around or transcend it but this is what we  must do if we are to actively and purposefully live our lives.

I'm happy and content spiritually and feel that I have certain forward momentum that I must follow and allow to run its course so this is what I'm going to do.  This is what I'm doing!

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

The 9 of Wands and the 6 of Swords

Thursday, March 26th, 2015.  Aaahhhh...at home at last.  My work days are getting longer as I'm staying thirty to forty-five minutes later each day and today was no different.  My roles at work are becoming more and more intense and involved and I find it difficult to pull  myself away when quitting time rolls around.  And since it is later in the day I fail to force myself to go to the gym.

However, I'm thinking of going in the morning as I do believe my gym opens at 5:30am and I've been awaking around 5:00am, 5:00am all this week so why not get out of bed and do something useful.

Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is the “9 of Wands: Don’t mess with me.  Defensiveness.  Putting up barriers to avoid intimacy" with the “6 of Swords: Peaceful Recovery.  Serenity and the passage of time help to heal wounds.  Stormy emotions are given time to subside, allowing a plan for a solution” providing some further insight.

We are being challenged to overcome our difficulties most of which may very well be self-imposed or created indirectly through our doing.  Thought patterns and creating negative in our lives can and more often than not absolutely do create situations or put us on paths we did not plan for or at the very least hoped to avoid.

Our thoughts and actions have consequences many of which are unforeseen surprises--surprises that do not need to be surprises if we only realize that we are the masters of our destiny thus the recipients of the sometimes negative consequences of our own actions.  Be aware of the power you have over your life and be acutely aware of your thoughts and actions knowing full well they may come back to bite when you least expect them to.  Transcend these possibilities through actively participating in your life and providing yourself with many checks and balances when it comes to putting your thoughts and ideas into action.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

The 4 of Coins and the 6 of Swords

Friday, January 9th, 2014.  I slept very soundly last night and this is likely from not sleeping very well the previous four or five days or the new over the counter cold medication I took before bed.  Or it's a combination of the two.

Last night was quiet evening.  Didn't do a whole heck of a lot, simply relaxed doing a whole lot of nothing and reserve my energy reserves so I can get over this cold sooner rather than later.

Thank You Spirit.

Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot Card is the “4 of Coins: The Lighting Director.  A position of power.  Wanting to control how others perceive things" and is being challenged by the “6 of Swords: Peaceful Recovery.  Serenity and the passage of time help to heal wounds.  Stormy emotions are given time to subside, allowing a plan for a solution.”

Patience and faith based on past experiences should guide us as we embrace each welcoming new day.  There is no need to hold on so tightly that we close ourselves off to new opportunities and experiences.  What are we holding onto so tightly and why are we doing this?  We all to embrace life, live it fully and actively, and know that we are living our lives the best way we know how always understanding that there is also always room for improvement.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

The 8 of Cups and 6 of Swords

Wednesday, December 3rd, 2014.  I had somewhat of a sleepless night.  I’m not sure at what time I awoke but from that point until the alarm I hardly slept a wink and if I did it was a very conscious sleep.

I wanted to sleep in today but alas a work day is a day where sleeping in is not recommended.  I did get up and get on with the day but I did on occasion wish to be back home and in bed.

Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “8 of Cups: Farewell.  Moving on.  Leaving behind a person, a situation, or a part of yourself.”, complemented by the “6 of Swords: Peaceful Recovery.  Serenity and the passage of time help to heal wounds.  Stormy emotions are given time to subside, allowing a plan for a solution.”

As I contemplate these cards I get the sense that moving on allows one to recover from a once hectic and emotionally charged lifestyle.  This could be a deep and inward change only or perhaps relocating by simply moving across the city or into an entirely new city.  But change and saying farewell to our old selves is what is needed.  Bad habits, a poor attitude, pessimistic thinking, or a beaten spirit must be taken care of where our spirit is renewed and allowed to soar to new heights.  Believe in and have faith in yourself and move in harmony with the universe and let your voice be heard.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

The 6 of Swords and Coming To Calmer Waters

Thursday, May 15th, 2014.  Last night was another night of good sleep and vivid work related as well as personal dreams.  I like the spiritual life I live in my dreams.  Last night I was in a van conversion and working my magic with a Tarot Card spread for someone who contacted me online.  Very cool!

Thank You Spirit.

Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “6 of Swords: Peaceful Recovery.  Serenity and the passage of time help to heal wounds.  Stormy emotions are given time to subside, allowing a plan for a solution.”

I find myself in calmer waters.  The last couple of days have been relatively good ones and I’m having a better outlook on life and what my future holds for me.  I have ideas, dreams, goals, and desires for sure but I was missing the passion for them and I’ve finally found it.  I even feel more passionate and comfortable about my work.  I made decisions on my own today that were good decisions and I did so without worry that I was doing something wrong.

This has got me thinking realistically about my plans and how to move forward comfortably with them.  Since I’m more comfortable at the workplace I’m more apt to enjoy the job enough to continue working at it while I develop my personal career and get it going.  I then can grow my personal employment without giving up a stable income.  As well, if I can control my urges and impulses I’ll likely buy a van conversion sometime in the fall.  I’d like one to use this summer but that could be pushing it as I’m still adjusting to my income level as well as trying to pay down my debt so I shouldn’t burden myself with more.  Not yet

So the “6 of Swords” is here today to let us know that we calmer times are ahead if not already here for some of us and if we take it one step and one day at a time we’re likely to come through this rough patch relatively unscathed.  As it is with most things our approach to life and reactions to difficult circumstances, experiences, and trials and tribulations can make a huge difference in how we get through them and move forward in life.

I am thankful for the gift of life for yet another day and look forward to the days ahead.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

6 of Swords Change

Another weekend of activity is behind us and a new week unfolds before us.  The sun is shining and summer is indeed in full swing.

Yesterday afternoon we enjoyed the company of friends at a friend’s birthday party.  A small simple gathering of people who made the afternoon a pleasurable one.  Good conversation was intermingled with good food and drink as the hours ticked by, a sense of timelessness enveloped the day.  Thank You Spirit.

Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “6 of Swords: Peaceful Recovery.  Serenity and the passage of time help to heal wounds.  Stormy emotions are given time to subside, allowing a plan for a solution to emerge.”
I think this card for me has more to do with travel and a change of location and scenery but likely first and foremost a change from one frame of mind to another.  I feel that I’m undergoing a serious change/transformation of Spirit, Mind, and Identity.  Not the midlife crisis sort of event but rather a change garnered through enlightenment.  I’ve finely opened myself up, allowed myself to be receptive to, a receptacle for Spiritual Knowledge, Renewal, and Transformation.  I’m not so much as thinking as simply knowing or intuiting the thoughts and ideas that flow through and in and around my mind.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

6 of Swords and Lighter Emotions and Spirit

Another Monday rolls around.  Getting down to the last days of work with Elections BC, two more days, maybe a few more, not sure what the work schedule holds after tomorrow’s election.

We had a pleasant day yesterday.  We did a bit of shopping met my brother and some friends for brunch, went for a walk along the quay, and I cleaned up my side of the den.  I cheated a little bit I guess as I purchased four plastic containers and essentially piled everything on and around my table into them and then slide them under the table.  It’s neat and tidy and such a massive weight has been lifted off of my shoulders.  I needed to get most of what I put in those containers out of sight and soon out of mind.  I need a bit of a release from my handcrafted cards.  Thank You Spirit.

Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “6 of Swords: Peaceful Recovery.  Serenity and the passage of time help to heal wounds.  Stormy emotions are given time to subside, allowing a plan for a solution.”
This card is right on the mark and time healed some stormy emotions that I’ve been feeling for a couple of years.  A solution came into sight and I grasped a hold of it and lightened my emotions and Spirit like I’ve never felt before.  Truth and honesty, and a straightforwardness proved to be invaluable yesterday and today is a much brighter day.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

Get Smart Today

Gung Hay Fat Choy!  Chinese New Year, the Year of the Snake.  “This 2013 year of Snake is meant for steady progress and attention to detail. Focus and discipline will be necessary for you to achieve what you set out to create. The Snake is the sixth sign of the Chinese Zodiac, which consists of 12 Animal Signs. It is the enigmatic, intuitive, introspective, refined and collected of the Animals Signs. Ancient Chinese wisdom says a Snake in the house is a good omen because it means that your family will not starve.”

I had a decent day and out of love, compassion and caring, made homemade remedies and went out for over the counter drugs to combat the nasty cold my partner has come down with.  I hope I can stay healthy and avoid it.

We watched “Eat Pray, Love” last night and I thoroughly enjoyed the movie.  The movie never really appealed to me before but I read a little more about it on one of my favourite blogs (RV-Dreams) so we gave the movie a chance and I’m glad we did.  It touched me in many ways and lessons were learned and I’ve got a lot more to learn and work through in my life.  It’s intriguing to me how certain books, words, articles, new stories, or even movies can impact us when we least expect it.

With a little meditation this morning and much thanks to the Goddess and God I worked with Tarot and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “6 of Swords: Peaceful Recovery.  Serenity and the passage of time help to heal wounds.  Stormy emotions are given time to subside, allowing a plan for a solution to emerge.”  I also feel quite impacted by this, “. . .must address and resolve the root problem before he can move on.”  This from the Collins gem book on Tarot by Rowenna Stuart.

I think I need to allow myself to go deeper into meditation and allow  what might be some ugly truths about myself to come out so I can face them and then heal and move on.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

Hiccups

Spirit is and today’s (October 24th) visiting Tarot card is the “6 of Swords: Peaceful Recovery.  Serenity and the passage of time help to heal wounds.  Stormy emotions are given time to subside, allowing a plan for a solution to emerge.”  I have stormy emotions quite often and really need to focus on getting my emotions under control.  I also believe that I need to give more time to Spirit through meditation and contemplation.  I need to simply “BE”.

Today’s (October 25th) visiting Tarot card fell away from the deck as they all seem to do these days and today’s card is the “10 of Wands: The Burden.  Responsibilities.  Obligations.  Overcommitting yourself.  Realizing that burdens are a part of life.”  I’m surprised by this card today and when I look at the image on the card I see travel, not easy travel but travel none-the-less.  I have much I want to do but I’m trying to organize myself in some way so I am working on my cards more than anything else while at the same trying to get my RV home up and running so she is ready to go when I feel the urge to strike out on my own which is always with me in one way or another.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.
