Yesterday we took a drive out to Chilliwack so the folks at O'Connor RV could take a look at here and determine whether or not the price they offered me without seeing the van was a good one and whether or not it was worth putting the van, my Serenity on their lot or not. Well, needless to say the van stayed at O'Connor RV ad the first step in my selling it to them has taken place. The next step is to bring in the signed papers with the offer of purchase to the bank so that the bank will release the van from the lien placed on it to secure the loan so O'Connor can then put her on their lot and sell her to the next potential RVer that will fall in love with her. I'm a bit sad but at the same time at ease as it is the right thing to do at this time. I'm confident that there will be another Serenity in life sooner than I think.
Spirit Is and today's Thoth Tarot Energy is the "Eight of Wands/Swiftness: Some good news or an unexpected phone call could electrify you today and give the day a surprising turn of events. Your mind is "charged", and one of the many ideas chasing through your brain holds the solution for an old problem. Or perhaps a spark will kindle the fires of love? That would certainly be the most wonderful reason for the coming night to turn to day for you."
"Your mind is "charged", and one of the many ideas chasing through your brain holds the solution for an old problem" is the key phrase from this "Eight of Wands" today. It truly does feel like a day of swiftness and active minds and energies where answers are quick to come to us and easy to implement. It's a day where things come together for us and truly bring our minds, spirits and energies at ease.
Thank You Spirit.

'XI Strength' and Seeing the Bigger Picture
Thursday, August 20, 2015. Let's see what to write about this day? I'm seemingly at a loss for words and maybe this a good thing...
We had a quiet evening at home, not doing much of anything. Oh...I was trying to get out GPS unit up and running but had no success. I don't like the fact that it can only be charged in the car and where this only a viable option when the car is moving...what's with that? So although it works when it's plugged into the 12 volt DC of the car we can't update the maps so we'll be using it the best we can on our trip next week.
Then the evening was pretty much wrapped up with that an off to bed I went.
Then the evening was pretty much wrapped up with that an off to bed I went.
Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is "XI Strength. Love conquers all. Avoid pettiness and prejudice. Try to be a peacemaker. Weigh all sides of every situation. Don’t be so set in your ways that you miss the big picture by focusing on details. Stubbornness is your challenge of the moment. When reversed: Everyone expects the best from you and vice-versa. Arguments with your lover or close associates are likely now. Don’t give in to intimidation or pressure, and never go to bed angry. Are you seeing things realistically? Wait one more day to take action."
"Don’t be so set in your ways that you miss the big picture by focusing on details" and "stubbornness is your challenge of the moment." I'm trying to focus too much on the details that I'm failing to see the larger picture. I need to focus on my overall goal for the moment instead of the nitty gritty details of it. This way I accomplish more as Spirit knows exactly where to direct that cosmic energy that comes our way when we have a singular focus to work on rather than the many intricate details that can mire our efforts and slow us down if not completely stunt our efforts. I know where I am, where I'm going and where Spirit is taking me.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The 'King of Vessels - Heron' and Being Mature and Level Headed
Monday, August 10th, 2015. We had an easy Sunday not doing all that much other than our weekly grocery run and meeting with a couple of friends in the afternoon. Dinner was quick and easy and the evening serene and soothing. Reading a few passages from 'Science of Mind Guide For Spiritual Living' is always a great way to end the evening before slipping under the covers for a good night's sleep.
Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is the "King of Vessels, Heron: A deep belief in fairness, honesty, and honour colours everything you do. The profound depths of your character, once stirred into action, carry all before it. However, your admiration of self-control can sometimes make you appear too rigid. Artistic ability, Honesty and integrity, Purposeful equality, Responsibility, Consideration of others, Affection, Support and companionship."
The day is about being calm, level headed, easygoing, focused and thoughtful. It's about not letting yourself get raddled by the events of the day, to have a knack for taking a step back, compose yourself and deal with the situation at hand. When one does this one can then approach the situation with a clear mind and find good solutions to calm the situation and turn it around and into the direction it's supposed to go.
Clench your mouth, don't say it, don't say anything, excuse yourself, back away, take a deep breath, ground and center yourself, be still for a moment and then carry on.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

12 The Mirror and Inner Discovery
Friday, June 19, 2015. We are slowly getting our home back in order. The kitchen is coming together and we are reclaiming use of our dining and living room spaces. A dozen or more boxes have been emptied in waiting cupboards. We'll get more finishing work done on the kitchen tomorrow before heading off to friends for a barbeque and we'll do the same on Sunday...a little bit of work, then off to others friends and their barbeque.
Sleep was okay as I awoke a few times and then just as I was getting in my last fifteen minutes, the phone rang, not once but twice...a private number and no message left...aarrrggghhh. So I simply communed with Spirit while awaiting the sound of the alarm.
Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is "12 The Mirror: Patience and prudence are the keywords here, although trust plays a large part in the process of crossing to the island where insights into our own unconscious workings may be revealed. This process differs from the journey of the Hooded Man, who makes a conscious decision to withdraw and contemplate the universe. In the Mirror, a surrender of will is required. Insights may come from dreams and meditations, but now is the time to force the pace or drive on with a plan or desire until you have heard what your soul has to say, and your bruised and wounded spirit has been healed. Be patient. Let the journey commence and awaken afresh and full of energy, ready to deal with the world and the challenges it raises."
The mirror is the reflection of our true selves, the inner core of our being that few ever catch a glimpse of, or even get to know as we are too focused on the outer busyness of our lives to take notice of and really get to know who we really are. Surrender yourself to the inner you, to the gift of Spirit so you can learn to truly and wholeheartedly live life and live it to the fullest and most deep and meaningful way possible. Learn the real value of your life. You will be amazed at what you discover.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The 'Page of Bows, Stoat' and '3 The Green Woman'
Saturday, June 6, 2015. Oops! What happened here? No writing since Wednesday.
We've been contemplating a kitchen makeover for about a year and decided a few weeks ago to go ahead and get it done based upon a recommendation from a friends brother. The cabinets are constructed from plywood and the doors and drawers are real hardwood and the price was very similar to what we found at a few big box stores that we visited, where the cabinets offered are constructed with particleboard. And we are going with a quartz composite material countertop on the wet side of the kitchen and solid oak on the prep side.
And the process started on Thursday night as we emptied out the cupboards and removed the appliances so that the removal of the cabinets could happen yesterday and the installation begin today. Oh, we also decided to remove the ceramic tile backsplash last night. What a chore that turned out to be. The sloppy look of the tile and grouting hid some very well held in place tiles as well as some damaged drywall that we had to repair. But in the end to effort will be worth it. The kitchen will look fresh and inviting and the cabinets will give us a better functioning kitchen as they are designed to fit the space.
I've had two sleepless nights worrying about the plumbing, the solid wood countertop that we have to install, the relocation of a receptacle to accommodate a smaller size cabinet above the microwave, and what to do about a new backsplash.
On top of all of this, I also had inquired about a Class B campervan that I saw at a local yet, not so local RV dealership and was playing phone tag with the financial advisor for the company. After a few back and forth messages I finally asked the person answering the phone to ask him to leave me a message about why he was calling. He finally did, the van I was interested in was sold and picked up yesterday. I'll simply keep looking and have made the decision to buy from this particular dealership as they appear to be much more down-to-earth and seem to employ less push sales reps.
Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is the "Page of Bows, Stoat: Often, you are seen as an emissary and, as such, your gifts are widely recognized and honoured. Your ability to perceive the truth in almost any matter is vastly helpful and your freedom of spirit marks you out as an original and unique personality."
I picked up on 'emissary' as I read about the 'Page of Bows' and decided to research its definition and how it fits in with today, Saturday, the 6th of June, 2015. Based upon the quick definition highlighted by 'Google' and the immediate insight that came to mind I believe that the 'Page of Bows' is bringing focus to the fact that many of us are 'spiritual emissaries' in this world and have an important role and function to place with the many people that come into our lives or cross our paths on any given day.
Many of us act as beacons of light, hope, and inspiration to others without ever knowing about it. Additionally, we are likely as equally influenced by others in the same way providing us with the drive and energy needed to carry forth with our endeavors.
Also, the 'Page of Bows' has encouraged me and supports a dream that I had last night to make changes to my website so I focus more on spiritual services and forgo selling a few retail items that I have listed on one of its pages.
Thank You Spirit.
For Thursday and Friday, the visiting Tarot was "3 The Green Woman: Appearing at a time of rich nurturing and protection, of learning and initiation, when loving and fertile relationships, both human and universal, abound, the Green Woman mediates the sacred sovereignty of the Earth's soul and can show the path to understanding and communion with nature. But with this blessing comes responsibility. Remember that this glorious, magnanimous and generous spirit can live through you, radiated by the sacred breath of life and given to others who need guidance and healing. Learn from the abundant and joyous spirit of the Earth and be at one with the world and your true self."
Nature, nature, and more nature. Gaia, Mother Earth...I am very much a part of this wonderful entity we live on and that we all have a symbiotic relationship with...let's show her the respect and attention that she deserves.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The 'Four of Stones - Protection'
Monday, May 18, 2015. A New Moon rises, the Moon is now in Gemini and it's Monday, a long weekend for us here in Canada. Happy Victoria Day!
We had a homey day yesterday. We didn't get out until the afternoon as we took a stroll along the pier and enjoyed an afternoon iced coffee beverage a Tre Galli before running a couple of errands and returning home. I made a few tweaks on my model railroad layout before committing the rest of the day working with the Wild Wood Tarot in digitizing each of the cards and recording each cards "reading points". I'm actually still in the process of doing this. It's great to observe the images of each of the card and then write a bit about them. When the process is complete I will actually meditate with and on each card and then write about it. I will do this over 78 days allowing each card I'm working with be the Tarot of the day I likely won't start this process until later in the week as I'm a slow typist so I'm maybe only a quarter of the way through the deck in terms of typing out each cards "reading points".
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot Card, from the Wild Wood is the "Four of Stones - Protection. The newly risen sun brings hope and renewed vitality to the vulnerable. Shelter and protection for the weak or the spiritually wounded is the responsibility of us all."
As spirit moves through me and courses through my veins and fills every atom of my being, I must use the strength, love, light, and energy of Spirit to do my part and help those in need in whatever way or whatever form I can. I must let the light of Spirit shine through and touch the lives of those who need to witness the spark of Spirit most.
Close your eyes and be still for a moment, allow the rays of sun fill you and penetrate your heart, allow Spirit to lift you up and give you a sense of hope that love and compassion still exist in this world and it will come to touch you too! Have faith in Spirit...
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

"19 The Sun of Life", "7 The Archer", and the "Knight of Stones - Horse"
Saturday, May 16, 2015. A quiet Friday evening at home after a busy work week is a welcome respite from the madness of a work-a-day life that scatters my energies all across this region of metro Vancouver. I even hit the gym after work last night and was that ever a joy. A good workout always releases the tension and stresses of the day.
One thing I've noticed over the past week or two is that I'm becoming more enamoured with and forming a deeper connection with Tarot, with Spirit. Tarot is streaming through every atom of my being so I'm able to feel, understand, and breathe in fully the life and meaning of each card as they enter and visit me each day. Today is no different and for that matter three cards dropped in for a visit today as I was contemplating the actuality of living life on the road as I'm Wizard Oron, the Traveling Wizard.
From the Wild Wood Tarot today's visiting Tarot are "19 the Sun of Life...enlightenment, robust health, and emotional harmony...beckons you to see beyond the noise and clatter of human reality and become aware of the vastness and generosity of the cosmic soul"; "7 The Archer...this is a time to be bold and commit to the hunting of new life and a better relationship with the world, as well as the fulfillment of wholesome ambition"; and the "Knight of Stones-Horse...healthy activity and self-sufficiency color your path...physical strength supports your decisions and pleasure is important...daring, pride, and a love of the Earth lead you to attempt ever more amazing feats...let the horse carry you."
I'm taking steps to move forward with my desire to live on the open road, living the life of a nomad, that of a traveling wizard where I can draw inspiration from Spirit as I traverse the continent so that I may then use this inspiration to inspire others to be more than they believe they can be. I draw on the "Sun of Life" to give the energy need to carry forth and inspire. I draw on the skill and mastery of "The Archer" to carry my plans forward, and ride on the back of the "Knight of Stones-Horse" to move with great energy along my path.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

9 of Swords and No More Procrastination
Friday, May 15, 2015. I seemed to have a decent night's sleep and awoke about twenty minutes before the alarm so I took the opportunity while dozing to give thanks for all that I have in my life as well as all of the blessings I receive on a daily basis.
Today's Tarot is the “9 of Swords: Unquiet Dreams. Stress. Worries. Mental tapes which play over and over.”
It's time to stop avoiding and procrastinating and face the issues we keep turning away from even though they more often than not haunt our thoughts and dreams. Want to have a good night's sleep, wish to worry less then deal with what worries you to no avail. And more often than not what we find ourselves worrying about is stuff we most often have no control over. However, if it's something you have the power to change then do something about it. Decide and do! If you are sincere, honest and bring harm to no one including yourself then act on your decision asking Spirit to lead and support as you go about it.
Trust in Spirit as much as Spirit trusts in you!
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

"XV Self-Hatred" and Overcoming Your Fears
Thursday, May 14, 2015. We had a lovely evening after a quick and simple dinner of dumplings, carrots and green beans with a chicken and soy sauce dressing--delicious. Then we just did a whole lot of nothing. I worked piddled around with my model railroad layout and read N-Scale magazine as well as one of my favourite blogs. An article in N-Scale magazine inspired me to do more with my layout and hopefully, I'll get to do something with it this long weekend.
Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is “XV Self-Hatred: The trap to avoid for all minorities. Unconsciously accepting societal norms. Low self-esteem."
Face you most intimate and secret fears and come to terms with them. Accept them and truly face them and transcend them so you can move on and become all that you are meant to be. I have to do the same. I've come face to face with my fears and the obstacles I've created for myself that block my movement and forward momentum thus keeping in a stagnant holding pattern, running around in circles wondering why I can never move into the life that I know is waiting for me in the future, the life of my dreams. I fear risk and uncertainty whereas in my youth I took many chances and always landed on my feet. I'm afraid to do that today.
As much as I desire to lead a nomadic life I also like the stability and security of my life as I'm living it today but deep down I know that this life I'm living today is not the life I need to be living if I desire to grow and evolve and expand my spirituality to a point where I'm a renewed and better person than I am today. Driving on a road with no real or clear destination in mind fills my heart and spirit with much joy, love, and happiness. Not knowing where I'll spend the night or what direction I'll take in the morning exhilarates me beyond words. And seeing the different landscapes as I traverse this beautiful continent lifts and satisfies my spirit.
Face fear, it's of your own creation. So, if you've created it, you can overcome and transcend it too!
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

Face fear, it's of your own creation. So, if you've created it, you can overcome and transcend it too!
Thank You Spirit.

The "2 of Coins" - Tai Chi
Wednesday, May 13th, 2015. Another uneventful evening at home. Quiet, full of beautiful, loving conversation and a good meal. A simple dinner, a simple evening, a simple couple doing our best to live and enjoy life to the best of our abilities...making every moment count.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is “2 of Coins: Tai Chi. Flexibility. “Going with the flow”. Living in tune with your environment.”
Going with the flow is good as long as you do so with sincerity and without losing your personal integrity as a result. Always keep your goals in mind and be fair, objective, and balanced as you pursue them. Be flexible and open to new ideas and new ways to see the fruition of your dreams.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The "4 of Wands" and Celebration
Tuesday, May 12th, 2015. A quiet evening at home. Boring for some maybe but not for me as I love the quiet time I have to be one with Spirit, to reflect on Tarot, to discover news of thinking, of being.
Today's Tarot is the “4 of Wands: Setting the Stage. Opening night finally arrives. A venture has been established. Celebrating initial achievements."
Do you something to celebrate? Well, celebrate it with friends and loved ones. Recharge your batteries, re-energize your soul. Allow the light, beauty and energy of Spirit reinvigorate your zest to live life to the fullest each and every day. Let Spirit move you to strive to your highest ideals so you can move your life forward and really dedicate your life to life and that it has to offer.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The Youth of Coins - Youthful Energy and Enthusiasm
Monday, May 11, 2015. Yesterday was a quiet day at home do odd little house chores and working on my hobby...model trains, of course. I awoke early and hit the gym-what a great way to start the day.
We took a stroll along the waterfront here in New Westminster before grabbing a couple of lattes at Tre Galli before running an errand and heading back home. Our evening was uneventful and then it was time for bed. Well, I actually read a few snippets out of "Science of Mind" and Witches and Pagans and learned a few things I've already put into practice...Thank You Spirit!
Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot Card is the “Youth of Coins: Focusing on the physical. Beginning a regimen. Matters relating to nutrition and exercise."
We have youthful energy and enthusiasm on our side today. Use it wisely as it can also be a wild and carefree energy that can lead us away from our goals and ambitions. If you find yourself running a bit on the wild side today, take a step back and know that left unchecked this wild ride can delay the successful outcome of your wishes. Accept being delayed if you must but don't let it happen again or you will accomplish nothing!
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

"19 The Sun of Life"
Sunday, May 10th, 2015. Yesterday was a great day. We awoke, had breakfast and made the drive out to Fort Langley with our bikes so we could ride the Fort to Fort Trail. We took our time both driving out there and riding along the trail and the quiet country road. Our ride started around 10:30am and ended around noon. Total distance travelled according to Map My Ride was 12.59km round trip. We put the bikes back on the bike rack, cleaned up and strolled Fort Langley looking for a place to grab a bite. We ended up at Cafe Planet Java, a 50's inspired soda fountain cafe and burger joint. As was with the case with our previous visit, the food was great.
On our way home we did our weekly grocery run, stopping at Meridian Gourmet Meats and the Real Canadian Superstore in Langley. Oh, we made a quick drive out to and stop at Kustom Koach RV to look at a '96 Van Conversion they have on their lot. I like the unit but dismissed it because it doesn't have a shower. On our drive home we discussed that and decided that a shower isn't super important as there are always places along the way in our travels where we could grab a shower...so maybe I'll give this unit a second though and look.
We relaxed the rest of the afternoon and evening before crawling into bed around 10:30pm.
Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is "19 The Sun of Life". The light of the universe shines in all of us. It's up to us whether or not we let it shine through us and into our world bathing everyone else in our light so they too can let their light shine through. "19 The Sun of Life" is asking us to grow, evolve, and move beyond our humanness so we can see the world through the vast generosity of the cosmic soul. We are being challenged to be greater than we imagine ourselves capable of being. We can do this as the Sun's ray cleanse and purify every atom of or being thus allowing our flickering light to burst forth and become the cosmic light of the universe here in each of our little part of the world.
Let your little light shine each and every day!
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

"9 The Hooded Man" Solitude, Truth, and Sacrifice
Saturday, May 9th, 2015. I've been struggling with a good night's sleep the last couple of nights as I find myself awaking with worrying thoughts about the "job". They overtake my mind and are proving difficult to override and overcome. They're haunting my sleep like a nightmare. Since the same happened again last night even with today being a Saturday and the weekend where I often get my best sleep I'm putting ore thought into why the "job" is now haunting my thoughts and dreams.
Today's Tarot may provide a clue...
...today's visiting Tarot is "9 The Hooded Man". Solitude. Truth. Knowledge and Light. Sacrifice. Becoming your true "SELF". This is a time where it's time to meditate and find ourselves discovering that in order to become who we "ARE" we must take a risk and give up our security and stability so we blossom and make our mark on the world. Be true. Be your "SELF" and inspire others to do the same.
As I reflect on "9 The Hooded Man" I understand that in order to be "ME" I have to give up the safety and security I find myself enjoying or else I will find my "self" wither away and fade into the unknown. Spirit is asking me to release my "SELF" so I am true to my "being" so that I make a positive impression on the world as so many of us need to do.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

"X The Wheel of Life", "XIII Death" and a Bee that Didn't Sting
Wednesday, April 15, 2015. A quiet evening at home was what we had yesterday and crawling into bed shortly after 10:30pm made way for great night's sleep. Dreams were as well. The most prominent being that of a bee that would not leave me alone. I was being encouraged to crawl under something. Perhaps, a kitchen counter or may even a vehicle of some sort. I kept swatting at the bee as he wouldn't leave me alone and when he landed on my finger the sting I was expecting never happened. A message delivered.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot Card is “X The Wheel of Life: If life on the rim makes you dizzy, move to the centre. Awareness of the cycles of life. Equanimity. A change in fortunes. Guidance from your future or past self” with “XIII Death: Endings are beginnings. A phase of life is over. Allowing time to mourn. A part of yourself has outlived its usefulness.” providing more meaning and clarity.
For me, this is about living through listening to my heart and intuition more than my brain. I need to go more with my feelings and where I sense I belong in this life. I need to weave my life into the shape and the way I want or most desire it to be. And for me it always comes to "living life on the road". I need to move, move from place to place, never staying very long. Kind of like the TV series, "The Littlest Hobo" where a German Shepherd travelled to where he was needed most in each episode and quietly disappearing when his job as done.
I need to move on.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

6 of Cups and VIII Justice
Friday, May 8th, 2015. Aaahhh...finally sitting down. Today was a busy non-stop day at work and the only time I was sitting I was in a vehicle driving from one place to the next. I was on my feet running around all day and didn't stop for a break, and a quick break at that until almost four o'clock where I ate my sandwich. Whew!
My intention of going to the gym tonight gave way to falling into a slouch on the sofa. That's where I am now as I write this. However, I've gotten up to get dinner going as it is now almost seven o'clock and oh, there's the bell, the oven dinged, dinner's in its final stage...time to eat...
...well, that was a nice dinner. Thank You Gracious Goddess and God. Thanks for the bounty that graced our dinner table tonight as well as the food we have in our cupboards and refrigerator. May we partake of it humbly and always be thankful for the abundance of food we have available to us.
Today's visiting Tarot is the “6 of Cups: Happy Birthday. Fond memories. A gift given in friendship or love" and “VIII Justice: Even today, gays can be the victims of “justice”. An unfair judgment. Being too judgemental or righteous. Feeling restricted by others’ expectations.”
We are blessed to have a strong connection and relationship with Spirit and we should be humbled by this and not take it lightly. Today we can bring together and learn from past, present, and future and learn from how we have lived our lives, how we are living our lives and how we can better live our lives tomorrow.
Love and friendship are likely top of mind today and this can also be love and friendship that lives through the ages. A gift given long ago or a friend from many lives ago may come back into your life. A sense of timelessness may be in the air as memories, friendships, and love come into light today.
Open your heart and your spirit and let yourself drift into the past. Sift through the images that float through your mind. Look at that one, the one that caught your eye and attention. Let the emotions fill your heart as you reminisce and reflect on lives and memories past that are and always will be a part of the fabric of your life.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

VI The Lovers, XIV Temperance, 7 of Cups, and the 9 of Swords
Thursday, May 7th, 2015. Surprisingly, I slept very well last night. I do think I did awake once through the night but can't say for sure that I did. I simply remember falling asleep last night and awaking to the alarm this morning.
Yesterday was a long tiring day for me as I was out of the office most of the day running around here and there to fulfill my customer service duties however I still made it to the gym an put a god twenty-five minutes on the stationary bike and did some abdominal exercises as well. I returned home and washed up our breakfast dishes before hopping into the shower. Then we headed off to do quick bit of shopping and grabbing a pizza as we were hosting one of friends for pizza and beer and lots of chat.
Yesterday's visiting Tarot is “VI The Lovers: A relationship is always a mingling of differences. A powerful relationship. Seeing both sides of an issue. Flexibility” with further energy coming from “XIV Temperance: Mix things up a little. Combining separate elements to create something new. Moderation (not too much of each flavour). Flexibility.”
“VI The Lovers" and “XIV Temperance" are letting us know that we need to open-minded, flexible, and willing to compromise when comes to dealing with our relationships and when approaching life in general. Yes, we likely hold onto certain values, morals, and ethics however not everything in this world is black or white. Objectivity is a valuable asset to have as then we can see things through unbiased eyes especially so if we are guided by and Spirit and approach others through a spirit on spirit connection.
Today was another day spent mostly out of the office and on the road to Surrey, Cloverdale, and New Westminster before returning to the office around 2:00pm. Then I just bounced around the people that needed to have conversations with me.
And pretty much as soon as I got home, I was out the door and off to the gym for workout. My goal is to work my muscles three days a week and do cardio two days a week and I'm getting close to achieving this goal every week.
Today's visiting Tarot is the “7 of Cups: The Bookstore. Choosing between different approaches. Contemplating choices when you should be acting" with the “9 of Swords: Unquiet Dreams. Stress. Worries. Mental tapes which play over and over” providing some context.
If we continually fail to make decisions that need to be made we'll find ourselves simply going around in circles repeating the same mistakes and having the same worries and hoping that somehow things would just change. Change as to start with us. Our lives belong to and are lived by us so else has the power to change our lives? We are and always must be responsible and accountable for our own lives. That responsibility should never be relinquished to another.
Action becomes change and change becomes confidence and confidence become success.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The "8 of Cups" and Being a Witch
Tuesday, May 5, 2015. I took it easy yesterday, as easy as I could make myself take considering I have a hard time sitting still. But I was feeling under the weather so I chose not to go to the gym. So I read a few pages out of two issues of Witches and Pagans magazine which gave me some much needed spiritual lift and encouragement. I felt spiritually awesome going to bed but had a bit of a nightmare where I subconsciously said that I was a "failure". Luckily though, I had spiritual kick in the butt and was told that I cannot think that way then I quickly fell asleep.
I awoke feeling a bit lethargic and unprepared to get out of bed let alone open my eyes however that's what I did.
Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is the “8 of Cups: Farewell. Moving on. Leaving behind a person, a situation, or a part of yourself"
How fitting to see the “8 of Cups" and how thankful I am to identify where I need to make changes and what I need to let go of and let slip into the past. Pessimism, self-doubt, and revolving worries, and anxiety over things that are done and over with. I have to move on. Also, I need to move things in the direction I want them to go.
The first move I'm making right now is to acknowledge and declare that I'm a "witch", the second is to move away from my lackadaisical and lazy approach to Wicca, Witchcraft, Tarot, and magickal practice and take up a more focused, real, and spiritually enriched study and practice of each of them. I believe and have faith in being a real and practising witch and wish to embrace this through living and breathing the energy, spirit, and magic of the witch.
The goddess and god I identified with more than a decade ago are Freya and Bacchus, more recently enamoured with a gypsy goddess and god as I really believe that I belong on the road travelling with no clear destination in mind only knowing that I need to drive and interact with people I meet along the way.
I still feel that way but for now I'm a model railroad building witch.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The 9 of Coins and Celebrating
Monday, May 4th, 2015. Yesterday was a day of early morning shopping and home chores The curtains were changed over to summer ones that assist in keeping the apartment cooler, albeit only slightly cooler as it gets to be about ten degrees hotter in here than it is outside.
Then we took a stroll outside stopping for an afternoon iced coffee beverage at Tre Galli before heading into Pier Park and quick stop and the Army and Navy to pick up a new comforter for the bed. We simply wanted a comforter and found one for $20.00 that do nicely. Dinner was had, we sat relaxed, and read before hopping into bed around 10:30pm.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is the “9 of Coins: Rewards. Enjoying the fruits of your labour. Well-deserved enjoyment”
We need to reach into our collective past and pull into our present lives the wisdom and mysteries of our ancestors so we can apply them in the here and now to enlighten ourselves and enrich the pursuit and success of our dreams and goals. Extend your hand and spirit back through the centuries and pull the veil from your eyes so you can see and remember the knowledge that is yours and that has always been with you. Our ancestors are looking at us with pride and smiles on their faces knowing that we are linked to the past and to them and are keeping the ancient traditions alive.
Today is a good day to step back from being our own worst critics and look at and celebrate the achievements in our lives, no matter how small they may be. You awoke and survived the day. Celebrate it!
Enriching our lives with the history of humanity will bring its own rewards and yet we can reach farther and higher and do even more.
Dare to dream!
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The "Four of Arrows - Rest"
Sunday, May 3rd, 2015. Caught a glimpse of the (almost) Full Moon last night. What a glorious sight. Might not be awake enough to celebrate the Full Moon tonight so last night was it. Somewhere along our travels yesterday I picked up a cold or I'm suffering from severe allergy attack.
We made our way to Pacific Spirit Regional Park late morning and spent a couple of hours hiking along various trails throughout the park. I've lived in Vancouver for twenty-one years and this is my first visit to this wonderful park.
Then we hit Moderne Burger on Broadway for lunch. As usual we thoroughly enjoyed our burgers, fries, cola, and vanilla malted shake.
Then we hit Room For Cream on Kingsway for our afternoon coffee and were extremely disappointed with them. Upon further investigation of the type of coffee they are using we realized why we didn't like the coffee. The brand is one of our least favourites.
Then it was onto home and relaxing time.
Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is the "Four of Arrows - Rest", courtesy of the Wild Wood Tarot.
As this card implies it's time to take a moment, well more than moment to fully recharge and re-energize our lives-mind, body, and spirit. And in this day and age taking time to slow down and engage in a whole lot of doing nothing proves to be a challenging for most of us, myself included. I can never simply sit and do nothing. I'm trying to relax but then I'll feel a need to do something, anything to over this self-inflicted guilt for doing nothing when something be getting done.
And rest also includes getting a good night's sleep. How many of us can claim that we're getting enough sleep. Very few is my guess. Late to bed and early to arise. Five or six hours of sleep is what I'm working on and this isn't healthy. The only things I have going for me are living an active lifestyle and eating quite healthy.
Spiritually, I'm n the right track through Tarot, gazing at the Moon, reading "Witches and Pagans", and visiting nature. We are a part of wonderful creation, Gaia, Mother Earth and all the energy of the cosmos. We should do our best to live and breathe nature and the cosmos to keep this energy coursing through our veins and inhabiting every atom of our beings.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.
We made our way to Pacific Spirit Regional Park late morning and spent a couple of hours hiking along various trails throughout the park. I've lived in Vancouver for twenty-one years and this is my first visit to this wonderful park.
Then we hit Room For Cream on Kingsway for our afternoon coffee and were extremely disappointed with them. Upon further investigation of the type of coffee they are using we realized why we didn't like the coffee. The brand is one of our least favourites.
