Monday, November 23rd, 2015. A seemingly sleepless night is what I had overnight. I awoke many times throughout the night feeling more awake than asleep on more than one occasion. Perhaps, it was the bag of gems and crystals under my pillow or the thoughts of being true to being "Wizard Oron" and then thoughts turning to work and then finances. Thankfully, my thoughts returned to my career as "Wizard Oron" and I quickly fell asleep until the alarm. This was sometime after 3:00am.
Spirit Is and today's Tarot Energy is "Nine of Vessels, Generosity: Nature's open-hearted, spiritual cauldron has a welcome for those who approach the waters of knowledge with compassion. They are blessed by regeneration. It can be easy to forget, when we reach the pinnacle of our prowess, power and security, that life is cyclical and what we enjoy during the times of plenty are the products of previous toil and effort. Just like the wise farmer, we must manage good fortune by planting seeds for the future and by helping those facing hard times. This generosity will always come back to you a thousandfold if it is gifted with selfless goodwill and a common humanity. To recognize and acknowledge that you are merely a conduit for this abundant enriching blessing, and to let it flow through you and into others' lives, allows your good fortune to circulate and your positive momentum to carry others with you. Let us not become victims or prisoner's of fear. Fear paralyzes our thoughts and ideas, our creativity and our energy. Fear weighs us down and creates ever more fear and the spiral down continues from there to states of hatred and panic.
Let's instead let our natural selves rule the day so that we truly give be it time, support, energy, or even money. Give, give without pretense or need for recognition or some form of payback. Just give!

The 'Two of Bows, Decision' and Consciously Being With Spirit
Wednesday, October 21st, 2015. I had a very good night's sleep. Between Spanish lessons and a cup of tea that helps one sleep I slept almost to the singing of the alarm.
I'm on my own for about ten days as my partner takes a short vacation in Spain and a visit with a friend not seen in over ten years. Should be a nice trip. I'm lonely already...
Spirit Is and today's Tarot Energy is "Two of Bows, Decision: The bow represents not just the potential energy latent within any situation, but the need to direct and manage that energy to achieve your goals. This can mean first movement towards reinvigorating and reforming the relationship with life. It requires the decisive will to step across a threshold and take control in a positive and proactive manner. Sometimes this may require a reclaiming and remaking of the mental and emotional tools and energies that are required to move on in life. By preparing to step up and through the gateway and make a choice to allow forward momentum to flow naturally, the fashioning of a new mental discipline or processes, or the reawakening of a previously effective but abandoned one, may be required. By summoning and directing the powerful, healing energies available to you, the rough-hewn bow stave can be grasped and the process of shaping and crafting your destiny can begin. You stand at a crucial crossroads from which you can now move forward with confidence. We need to consciously choose where to direct our energies for doing so will determine the success of our pursuit of our dreams, goals, and desires. The best way to do this is to always be with and align one's self with Spirit. As we open ourselves to healing powers of Spirit we then are better able to direct the powerful energies of Spirit that dwell within each of us toward the attainment of are most cherished dreams and goals.

'8 The Stag' and Taking Ownership of My Life
Monday, October 19th, 2015. Election Day in Canada! I hope everyone here in Canada has or is exercising their right to vote. This is the 42 federal election in Canada.
We had a decent day yesterday as we joined a couple of friends and took a look at the Animals Inside Out exhibit at the Telus World of Science most well known as Science World. The exhibit is very similar to or the same as the Body World's exhibit that came to Vancouver several years ago. Then we had a late lunch at Red Truck, our meals were much better than our first visit. Then we returned home and relaxed for the remainder of the day.
Today's Tarot Energy is "8 The Stag: On a personal level, some kind of adjustment or interaction has taken place. The key word here is 'responsibility'. We must, as individuals, constantly observe the rules and regulations of society, and these can fluctuate as the views and knowledge of civilization change. Whether on a political or moral level, we subconsciously know when a realignment of our perception is due. This is a time to welcome the justice that has arrived with the coming of spring and the fire of creation. Face the coming season with honesty and integrity and trust to right and appropriate action."
I'm responsible. I'm a responsible person. I'm responsible for my own life. I take my responsibility seriously and take full control of my own life. My life is my own to live and I need to take ownership of it and make decisions about my life that are best for me. I am doing so right now as I write this and I'm moving my life in the direction I wish to, no make that I want to go and am going.

The 'Knight of Vessels, Eel'
Wednesday, October 14, 2015. Another evening of Spanish lessons has come and gone and I'm actually learning the language one baby step at a time. Gracias.
I'm sleeping quite well considering I'm back at work and not able to simply sleep in and not worry about the day as we did last week. I thoroughly enjoyed the week especially knowing that I had more to focus on the spiritual: Spirit, Tarot, the Sun, the Moon, and Crows along with the spirits of others and how I wish to engage with others' spirits around North America...this is my ultimate goal, my perfect job, my most rewarding career, my surest path to success that cannot and can never be measured in dollars and cents. I give much thanks to the great conscious that "IS" for enriching my life and bringing such realizations as these into my life.
Spirit Is and today's Tarot Energy is the "Knight of Vessels, Eel: With purity of intent, your destiny defined, you are able to bring wisdom and maturity to your tasks. Embarking on a quest of personal revelation, your vision leads you onward. Your deep feelings are expressed at every turn. Attraction, Conquest, Seduction, A welcoming, Compliance, Agreement, Induction, Coming together, Union, Arrival."

The 'Two of Bows: Decision' and '3 The Green Woman'
Wednesday, September 30th, 2015. A two hour Spanish Class last evening kept me away from my writing and my blog post. I did not know what to expect however I had an enjoyable evening and felt like I learned a few things. Cool, I just might be able to speak Spanish to my partner after almost eleven years of being together.
Spirit Is and yesterday's Tarot Essence was the "Two of Bows, Decision: The bow represents not just the potential energy latent within any situation, but the need to direct and manage that energy to achieve your goals. This can mean first movement towards reinvigorating and reforming the relationship with life. It requires the decisive will to step across a threshold and take control in a positive and proactive manner. Sometimes this may require a reclaiming and remaking of the mental and emotional tools and energies that are required to move on in life. By preparing to step up and through the gateway and make a choice to allow forward momentum to flow naturally, the fashioning of a new mental discipline or processes, or the reawakening of a previously effective but abandoned one, may be required. And the "3 The Green Woman" is asking that we "learn from the abundant and joyous spirit of the Earth and be at one with the world and" our "true self."
It becomes easier to manage and direct energy to our goals when we are one with the world and our true selves. So let's go ahead and get ourselves, let's make some amazing discoveries and maybe some not so great but we can deal with those too but for now let's just say "Hi" to ourselves and take it from there.

'18 The Moon on Water' and Fine Tuning My Goals
Sunday, September 27th, 2015. We relaxed for the morning, had lunch then headed downtown to grab a coffee before meeting our friends to catch a movie and have dinner with them. The movie is only one of the I think 375 movies being shown at this year's VIFF or Vancouver International Film Festival. We saw a Turkish movie, 'Ivy' that turns out to be the name of the ship that 6 sailors had to remain on just outside of a port as the ship's owner went bankrupt. I do believe they were on the ship for about two months, ran out of food and were running low on water. Great movie.
Dinner was at a familiar place for us, La Casita at the corner of Cordova and Abbott Streets in the Gastown neighbourhood of Vancouver. The food is quite tasty and portion sizes are very generous. Our friends were impressed, this having been their first visit.
After dinner we walked back to our earlier meeting place, the theatre, said our so longs before heading our separate ways. A nice relatively early evening for us, as we arrived home around 9pm, giving us plenty of time to relax and enjoy the rest of our evening before slipping into bed...and I slept in this morning, crawling out of bed around 7:15am.
Spirit Is and today's Tarot Energy is "18 The Moon on Water heralds a time of inner transformation, initiation, or awareness. This may take the form of a seemingly random situation based on the emotional or spiritual spheres, but your inner voice may have been whispering for some time and gone unheeded. Now your soul brings into your physical world the symbolic keys to the collective human subconscious. This may take the form of a desire to investigate or study a doctrine, philosophy or esoteric pursuit, or the wish to explore the untapped sexual energy and experience a tighter spiritual bond with a partner through honesty and the expression of your hidden desires. From here, you can begin to wrestle with the concept that consciousness is not within you, but that you are within the consciousness of the universe."
For me this is a tie where my goals and desires have become more finely tuned and focused as I now know that although my goals remain relatively the same I also know that my focus has to be on simply lifting people up and inspiring them to see beyond the limitations of our human perspective and instead view the world through a spiritual and infinite lens where all possibilities exist. As a continuation on yesterday's theme I also want to approach everyone through spirit from my spirit to theirs, recognizing them as real people and where their lives do matter. There was no better example of this than our walk through 'Victory Square' as this is where a lot of what I'll refer to as society's castaways hangout, no disrespect intended. I walked through the park unafraid with love and recognition that each of these individuals deserved to loved and recognized as human beings and that their lives mattered. I left no room in my heart to either label or judge them. I did my best to look at each of them sending love and respect their way as we walked by.
I'll be a bachelor for about ten days the latter half of October and during these ten days (I'll actually start now) on top of my already existing plans I'm going to immerse myself in Wiccan rituals and maybe even spells in order to grow, strengthen and find a way where I can quit my existing job and instead shift my focus into helping those left behind, the castaways of society, the forgotten ones, the discarded lives...
...discarded lives of individuals who may have wonderful things to offer us if they receive a little love, respect and acknowledgement that they are indeed human beings and that they matter...

The 'Three of Bows, Fulfillment' and Finding Sleep Through Communion With Spirit
Thursday, September 24th, 2015. I awoke and had a bit of a sleepless as I thought through my finances. After about an hour or so I calmed myself as I realized through communion with Spirit that I'm doing quite alright. Yes, I have debt but I'm paying it down and investing in my future.

Spirit Is and today's Tarot Energy is "Three of Bows, Fulfillment: Nourishment from a spiritual source gives inner security and joy. Goals and desires are reached, making life rich with emotional scrutiny and a sense of completion. The archer must be at one with the bow to fully direct its potential energy, and just as the arrow passes through the bow, propelling it to its target with effortless grace, the questing heart and seeker of knowledge allows the energy to flow through him. This combination of balanced energy and intellectual focus enables the mastering of any situation and allows the enrichment of success by being both at one with the environment and its inhabitants. Reaching this inner stronghold of strength and peace can only be achieved by constant reappraisal, vigilance and commitment to your goals; but the act of letting the power flow through you and having the trust to allow your arrows to fly completes an unseen, universal circuit. My sleepless night that became relaxed filled with sleep came as a result of tapping into the Spiritual energy that is always with us especially when we pay attention to it and don't take it for granted. Last night I also had the overwhelming feeling that my "Goals and desires are reached, making" my "life rich with emotional scrutiny and a sense of completion."
I fell asleep feeling very good with the knowledge that I'm on a good foundation, I'm growing and learning what I need to so I can transition to a more spiritual career and that I'm proactively involved in the present and am giving my all to the job I currently have. I'm comfortable using my bow and allowing its energy to propel my desires toward the attainment of my goals. I allow the power of Spirit to fill and flow through to inspire others to do the same.

'5 The Ancestor' and Heeding the Call
Wednesday, September 23rd, 2015. Dreams through the night come and go...dreams about shaving and shaving a little too much of my beard, then shaving so all that is left is a five o'clock shadow. Family, friends, then work. Then I dream about travel, travel in an RV, meeting people and inspiring one another through our spirits.
Spirit Is and today's Tarot Energy is "5 The Ancestor: You have made the leap and started a new cycle. Your instinctive spirit has felt it necessary to lead you to the gateway and a new path. You may have been reluctant or concerned at first, but whether you realize it or not a shift has occurred. You may feel wary of the unknown denizens that await you in the forest, but the ancient Ancestor within you will guide and reassure you as you relearn and greet new experiences on the path. My focus on the present and how I want to shape my future and how I see my future unfolding is becoming very precise and directed in the finest of details. It's great how relaxed and patient I've become in shaping my future even though I'd like to be living such a life today and realistically speaking I already am. More work needs to be done but the energy is there, the momentum is moving in the direction I want it to go and I'm more deeply spiritual and understanding of my spiritual calling.

'The Great Bear' and Being Proactive When Change Comes Calling
Tuesday, September 22, 2015. Mabon. Happy Mabon Folks! May the celebration of the Autumnal Equinox be a good one and bring us all closer together as we celebrate another harvest and giving much thanks for this blessing. Llewellyn's 2015 Magical Almanac has it listed for today and tomorrow!
Another evening of piddling around doing a whole lot of nothing. Well, not really as I focused my energy on getting more in tune with my website, blog, and how best I can follow my calling and live a more spiritual life as well as transition into a more spiritually minded career. I love working and interacting with Tarot Essence and Energy as it enriches every atom of my being to overflowing with everything I wish to be and bring into this world. I love working and interacting with candles and incense. Losing myself in a flickering candle flame as the smoky incense swirls skyward carrying me with it. Mind, body, and spirit become one and simply are.
One way I'm did this is by divesting myself of the many things I've hung onto for years such as greeting cards, knick-knacks, books, magazines, and odds n ends that I thought I couldn't possibly get rid of. As I mentioned in my Sunday writing I got rid of it all. Opening and going through the boxes allowed me to re-experience and truly capture the energy and emotions trapped in all of those things take it all in, forever stamp those memories into my mind and now keep it with me as a new source of energy and state of being. I'm spiritually richer through this experience.
A sleep filled night gave way to a sweet serenade from the alarm gently lifting us out of our slumber. We slipped out of bed and slowly got on with our day.
Spirit Is and today's Tarot Essence is "20 The Great Bear: The only thing in life that is assured is that, if you wait long enough, it will change. How you survive that change and who you are after it is up to you. The major element in this process is judgement of yourself and others. This may relate to an assessment regarding a personal matter or situation, and could be linked to the process of forgiving. It may also relate to a group or social decision. In the process of judgement, both as an individual and on the universal level, honesty is the key. Be honest, be forgiving, be patient, but most of all, be assured change is at hand. Remember, the universe has a long memory. Nothing is ever forgotten."
Time to be proactive and be change by facing and dealing with it dead on instead of merely reacting to it. Change in my life is occurring more than ever in my life these days as I become more laser focused on how to move into living and work a more spiritual lifestyle. My sense of energy and being has shifted and I'm having more meaningful, rich and fulfilling interactions with Tarot and Spirit. I'm experiencing Tarot more than playing with the cards. I've become an extension of the cards and of Spirit in ways I never thought possible. It's truly a new and exciting experience for me.
I now realize that as much as I thought I was having a nice, simple and real spiritual experience, I was wrong. I was merely scratching at the surface. Lights have turned on, transformation has occurred and a new sense of life and living has taken over.
Change and being proactive and engaged in change once you realize it's happening is the best way to deal with it. So don't shy away from and instead tackle it head on as best you can. Sometimes it might be tough, challenging and downright painful and depressing but face it and know, feel and experience it knowing full well that Spirit is right there alongside you having faith in your abilities and capabilities in dealing with change.

'18 The Moon On Water' and Discovering That We're Within The Consciousness of the Universe
Monday, September 21, 2015. A nice relaxing evening piddling around with my model railroad and reading articles from 'Sage Woman', 'Witches & Pagans', and 'Circle Magazine'. Such spiritually enriching articles that really touch the core of my being. As I read I feel the weight of my body disappear and the room around fade into absolute nothingness and I simply am one with the spirit and energy of each article.
However, as quickly as I fell asleep I seemingly awoke then struggled to find my sleep mojo. I dozed and fell asleep for awhile, awoke, fell asleep again, then repeat a couple of more times until the alarm sang to us and gently lifted us out of slumber.
Spirit Is and today's Tarot Energy is "18 The Moon on Water heralds a time of inner transformation, initiation, or awareness. This may take the form of a seemingly random situation based on the emotional or spiritual spheres, but your inner voice may have been whispering for some time and gone unheeded. Now your soul brings into your physical world the symbolic keys to the collective human subconscious. This may take the form of a desire to investigate or study a doctrine, philosophy or esoteric pursuit, or the wish to explore the untapped sexual energy and experience a tighter spiritual bond with a partner through honesty and the expression of your hidden desires. The 'Page of Vessels, Otter' and a Sense of Fair Play
Sunday, September 20, 2015. What a day of accomplishments we had yesterday. We tackled our storage locker in an effort to clean it up and organize it. We did both. By the time we finished the locker was less than half full and we had a car full of stuff to either give to the Salvation Army or bring to a variety of antique or consignment stores. Since I have shifted gears I also made the decision to clean up what I will now refer to as my model railroad cabinet and temporarily brought down all of my crafting and card making supplies to the storage locker which is now full. However, my brother is going up to our home town near the end of October so I've asked him to bring my crafting and card making supplies up with him as I'm giving it all to my niece and sister.
Whew!
I feel great now that I've freed myself of a lot of stuff that has been hidden away in boxes for well over ten years. I looked through it all, had my moments and memories and then let it go as I filled myself with the essence and energy of what all of this stuff created in terms of memories and emotions that is now a part of the fabric of my being. I've enriched my spirit and now our stuff can find a new home and may they create new feelings and memories for others.
Then it was onto dinner and enjoying the evening which we did. Dinner was satiating and the evening filled with model railroading. And suddenly it was time for bed as sleep washed over us shortly before 11:00pm.
Sleep was great. Could I have slept longer perhaps but I slept right through the night so I decided to crawl out of bed around 5:30am. I slept in on Saturday so what the heck.
Spirit Is and today's Tarot Energy is the "Page of Vessels, Otter: As a dreamer and a visionary, you weave a spell that few can resist. Your loyalty, devotion and sense of fair play mark you out as an individual whose will is tempered by profound understanding of the otherworld. If we continually strengthen and maintain our connection with Spirit and the cosmic energy that is the very fabric of our being, of our existence we will always be able to display our "sense of fair play" through "loyalty, devotion" and a keen sense of what we can give and take in our relationships whether at home, in the workplace or amongst friends and family.
It all boils down to allowing our natural state of being shine through and that is our spirit. If we walk through life as spiritual beings and extend ourselves spiritually to others we then connect with everyone we come into contact on a truly spiritual level thus allowing a naturally loving connection and interaction to occur in all our relationships. Be guided by Spirit and let your spirit lead and guide you in all that you do.

The 'Knight of Stones. Horse' and Using Nature's Energy to Balance the Books
Saturday, September 19th, 2015. The job is being good to me however although yesterday started off well it quickly became a frustrating day. Thankfully the frustration was mostly resolved by the end of the work day. But now I'll change my focus and leave the job for Monday.
I almost gave up going to the gym as I was getting home a bit later than usual however when I arrived home the urge to get in a god workout was quite strong so off to the gym I went. Glad I did it as work the muscles simply melted away the stress of the day and I felt great and walked tall, happy, and content all the way home...
The evening was a quiet one as I both feeling tired and sleepy after a great dinner of perogies, fried onions, a bit of shredded cheese and a simple salad on the side and having releasing all of the stress of the day at the gym. We were in bed early.
Spirit Is and today's Tarot Essence is the "Knight of Stones, Horse: Healthy activity and self-sufficiency colour your path. Physical strength supports your decisions and pleasure is important. Daring, pride and a love of the Earth lead you to attempt ever more amazing feats. Let the horse carry you. Activity, Kindness and helpfulness, Perseverance, Benefitting, A good ally, Profit, A quick grasp of essentials."
As I look at the "Knight of Stones, Horse", I think of living in the heart of nature as I traverse the roads, highways, and bi-ways of North America. I see visions of myself opening the door of "Serenity" and breathing in and taking in the loving, nurturing, and energizing essence of Nature as I strive to camp in the woods, or mountains, or meadows that dot the landscape around me allowing to learn, grow, and inspire and make new friends and build powerful relationships along the way. As nature's life energy flows through me, flows through us we are better able to focus on prioritizing our budgets so we have the freedom to be better ourselves as well as those around us.
