The Novice of Swords and III The Empress Strive for Prosperity But Without Sacrifice and Neglect

I got so wrapped up in other things last night that I forgot to come back here to my writing.  I guess it's the late dinner we had as my partner hosted some co-workers for afternoon coffee, drinks, and desserts.  By the time dinner was done and we had our showers I was in a different frame of mind and got onto other things like running a locomotive around my model railroad layout a few times, reading a book I rediscovered on the bookshelves as well as reading a little bit about my latest Tarot purchase, the Golden Dawn.  I do indeed like this deck.  Then I decided to grab the Shaman deck and read a little more about it too!  Another deck I'll enjoy working with for sure.

Spirit Is and today's Pagan Tarot Energy is the "Novice of Swords" (The suit of Swords and its corresponding element, Air, is masculine and intellectually oriented, so a youthful male with blond hair represents this Novice.  He wears along yellow robe and hematite necklace.  He intently examines a ritual dagger and burning incense.  A cardinal perches in a nearby tree.  This Novice can be someone with a goal in sight and who pursues it very single-mindedly.  He can accomplish much very quickly and extremely well.  However, he can be so focused that he misses changing developments, thereby going full steam ahead without considering a change of plan.) and "III The Empress" (All abundance is possible if we focus on what we can bring to ourselves and remember most of all that it is the life we create for ourselves, and those we love that matters most. Put out positive energy, and accept that everything good is possible for us.)
These two cards together, the "Novice of Swords" and "III The Empress" bring very strong "drawing to us" energy into our day.  We can create and bring to us the life we want the goals we wish to achieve.  But we're also made aware that we should remain open-minded and flexible as well as keep our focus on living positive lives where the kind of life we live as well what we create for our loved ones should be our top priority.  Bringing abundance into our lives should not require sacrifice or neglect.

Thank You Spirit.

Friday, December 2, 2016.  Friends visiting is always a nice thing even though it interrupts or better put postpones one's routine.  Such as my reflections and writings about each day's Tarot Energy.

Last night was no different.  A friend popped by for a quick visit so our usual night of doing what we do, mostly what each of us loves to do is put aside so we can visit and enjoy each other's company...always a good thing to make time for friends.

Spirit Is and yesterday's Tarot Energy was the "Six of Chalices: In a happy, playful reversal of roles, our Witch's daughter sets up her afternoon tea party.  She makes sure everyone (dolls included!) has a cup of flowers before the event can begin.  There is a gentle, sweet, carefree feel to the entire scene.  Take the time for little kindnesses toward those around you.  Making people feel comfortable or pleasantly surprised or pampered makes situations and emotions flow smoothly.  Don't shun small gestures as childish or a waste of time...these small efforts are often what touch people the most."

Today's Tarot Energy is the "Six of Swords: Unlike the imagined or overly dramatized tragedy in the Three of Swords, in this card we see an actual tragedy.  Something has gone horribly wrong.  Destruction is unavoidable.  Luckily, our Witch and her young man are escaping before any harm befalls them.  They are leaving a terrible situation and heading for a better place.  Unfortunately, you're facing something that is unpleasant and probably going to get worse.  You may want to gather your belongings and head for a safer harbour.  This could refer to many situations...including physical danger, an unhealthy relationship, or an unproductive way of thinking."

Thank You Spirit.

The 4 of Swords and a Little Bit of Rest Before the Activity That Must Come

Thursday, August 14th, 2014.  Another odd night of sleep.  I was awakened by the alarm however, I was in a semi-conscious state most of the evening.  And it was somewhat slow going this morning and I was trying to work with Tarot when the TV was turned on.  This did not minimize the impact and message of today’s visiting Tarot Card, the “4 of Swords: Napping Between Rehearsals.  Resting and gathering strength for the next phase.  A vacation or “time out”.”

I’ve rested for a spell and need to get on with producing the future I want for myself by moving forward with my plans.  I need to set aside time to sit down and create an agenda and other plans as to how I wish to move forward with my coaching efforts, Tarot Readings and Chakra Balancing.  In order to do this I need to read and study so I can do this in the best interests of my clients.  The next two weeks though look like a complete write-off as the in-laws will be here anywhere from 5 to 10 days.

So time to rest and contemplate and possibly record my thoughts on these matters as I do have a 60 minute lunch hour and a nice little digital voice recorder.  Ah…a solution has come to me…as I can eat my lunch in about fifteen minutes which gives me almost 45 minutes in which to read and record my ideas and resulting plans.  Perfect!

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

VII The Chariot and Taking Action and Being Active in Life

Wednesday, August 13th, 2014.  Another somewhat sleepless night as I awoke well before the alarm.  I think I’m sleeping, just not deeply and in that all important REM state.  However, the good thing is that I discovered why I am having these occasional sleepless moments in the all important last few hours of sleep each night.

I need to seriously engage myself in my spiritual pursuits and do a better job in meditating and meditating on Tarot Cards.  I need to be more true to myself and more true to my purpose.  Today’s visiting Tarot Card, “VII The Chariot:  Among the highs and lows of life, make sure you enjoy the highs.  At the top of one's game.  Seizing an opportunity.  Having everything under control (barely).” points me in this direction.

I see that I often feel like I’m spinning my wheels and I am because I’m not pay due diligence to the things that matter to me.  I need to be active and take action if I expect results.  So with this in mind I’m going to take more and more control over my life and my future as I’ve trying to simply slide through life in this new job I have but deep down I know this job cannot be in my future.

So, if you find yourself spinning your wheels in life, take a step back and really see just how involved your are in making your life happen.  Seizing an opportunity requires action but action based on a solid foundation, knowledge and a proactive approach to life.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

The Youth of Coins and Getting Physical

Tuesday, August 12th, 2014.  I awoke early but in a happy mood.  I knew I didn’t quite get enough sleep and that the alarm was likely about hour off but was not superbly bothered by this as before.  And when the alarm sounded I knew that I’d like to fall back into sleep mode but instead allowed myself to simply be for a few minutes before hopping out of bed to get on with the day.

Thank You Spirit.

Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Youth of Coins: Focusing on the physical.  Beginning a regimen.  Matters relating to nutrition and exercise.”

Speaking of the physical and the “Youth of Coins”, I need to balance my base or root chakra.  I do have piece of red jasper so I can meditate with this crystal/stone and find balance this way.  I can also devote some time to nature and enjoying the great outdoors.  The other day, Saturday evening as we were strolling along Comox Street in Vancouver a large tree caught my attention.  One of the more elder trees in the neighbourhood I think and the bark especially drew me to this tree.  Thick bark with deep crevasses, and much wisdom and Divine energy did this tree have.  It was hard to keep walking by as I could myself having great conversations with this humble and wise tree.

Thank You Spirit.

And of course, I need to devote more consistent time to keeping myself physically active as well as exercising my brain.  So tomorrow is gym day no matter what and I need to do more with Tarot.  If you ever feel energetic grasp hold of and use such energy to improve your life and the lives around you.  Or simply get out and enjoy the great outdoors and soak in the offerings of Gaia, of this wonderful planet we are so privileged to call home.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

The 5 of Coins and the 9 of Swords

Sunday, August 10th, 2014.  We had an easygoing day yesterday for the most part as I was just running around do this and that while my other half marked final exams.  Then as evening approached we made our way downtown Vancouver to connect with some friends as they hosted us and fed us a great dinner of barbequed red peppers and chicken with a mango and blueberry salad and coconut and pineapple rice.  A great evening of food and conversation.

Thank You Spirit.

Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “5 of Coins: Hard Times.  Material difficulties.  Lack of money.  People in adversity helping each other.”

This appearance of the “5 of Coins” is a challenge to me to real give my spirituality the kind of attention it deserves.  I must have my spirituality as a state of mind and put into practice what I preach.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

Monday, August 11th, 2014.  A new day and another early morning where I kept myself awake by over thinking and not letting things go.  I have a good life and I must accept it as it is for now.  I’m making my life better by being challenged by this well paying and rather secure job so I must continue to have patience and solidify the dreams and goals I have for my life.  I must create and build a solid foundation for myself so I can reduce the stress and worry of living life on the road.

Thank You Spirit.

Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “9 of Swords: Unquiet Dreams.  Stress.  Worries.  Mental tapes which play over and over.”

I knew I’d see the “9 of Swords” this morning.  Since I pretty dread having to awake at 6am and then rush off to work I often wake up in the wee hours of the morning and my thoughts just start flying around with no end in sight and I can lay awake for several hours because of this.  Luckily though I’ve often been able to overcome this through thinking thing all matter of Spirit and suddenly find myself being awakened by the alarm.  My perfect way of sleeping is by not having a fixed schedule so this is why I find myself struggling.  But all in due course, and much patience is required to get me through the next ten or twelve months.

Belief, knowledge, faith and trust in one’s self are where the “9 of Swords” must take us.  We need to get on with living life and adjusting as necessary in order to make our way through life’s journey and living true to ourselves.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

XX Beyond Judgement, Blowing Winds, and Self-Expression

Saturday, August 9th, 2014.  I had a decent enough night’s sleep although a few thoughts and worries crept in to keep me awake for a spell.  However, the power of spirit helped me overcome these and get back into a much needed sleep.  I did awake with vague thoughts of life on the road and then the thoughts and worries from the night crept back into focus.  But I’m done with them now.  It is what it is and I’m moving on.

Thank You Spirit.

Last night we stayed in and simply let the evening drift on by and carry us off to bed at a fairly early hour.  But getting plenty of rest is good for us—works well with eating healthy, getting plenty of exercise as well as exercising our brains with our personal endeavors.  My focus is all things spiritual, hence my eclectic spiritual nature; I am a model railroader; and I’m for now an avid armchair Rver.  I do have a very nomadic nature about me and really think I need to hit the road soon.  Oh, and ventriloquism is also something I dabble in.  Too many passions to really focus on anything of them but they all bring me pleasure.  However, discovering present moment and sacred awareness has helped me realize that all I do is a spiritual experience worth having so I will continue on and as necessary adjust, change, and transform as needed.

Thank You Spirit.

Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is “XX Beyond Judgement: Self-acceptance must come before liberation.  Freedom from others’ expectations. Trying to make conditions better for others.  Altruism.  Pride. Self-acceptance.”

I must, we all should strive to give outward expression to our inner identities.  We should all be willing to have the wind blow through our lives taking away what is unnecessary to make room for the new that comes to us with that wind.  Such actions bring about self-acceptance, and self-expression.  Let us spend some meditating and open the doors to our future, to the future a crack and see what it looks like and how we can strive to do now what will make for a better future.

Transform, transcend, and move forward into the future as the real you by making changes here in the present.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

The 5 of Coins and Digging For Answers

Friday, August 8th, 2014.  I had a great night’s sleep even with awaking a few minutes before the alarm.  I’m also feeling much better and more focused today than I was yesterday.  I think it was do the thoughts that came into my mind as I relaxed and contemplated life during the evening.  A few things I’ve neglected or given up on have come back to life and in a good way too!  I’ll keep it under wraps for now but I’ve got get on with it and take that giant leap of faith that’s been nagging at me for the past eight or nine years, if not longer.

Thank You Spirit.

Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “5 of Coins: Hard Times.  Material difficulties.  Lack of money.  People in adversity helping each other.”

This is not just about lacking material goods or wealth this is about being able to display our spirituality or need to dig deeper within ourselves to see what we are in need of or may be lacking.  How often do we hide our spirituality so as not to offend, face ridicule or simply to keep it to ourselves.  How often do we find we are lacking in money not necessarily because we are in need but desire to keep up with the “Jones”, if you will.

Oftentimes, money can be an issue however we may be pushing it away from us rather than attracting to us because of our attitudes and pessimistic outlook on life.  Find ways to stretch that dollar and find other ways to enrich your life without need of materialism.  Simplify your life by becoming more minimalistic and see the weight on shoulders lighten or disappear all together.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

The Ace of Cups of High Spirits

Thursday, August 7th, 2014.  I had a decent night’s sleep and awoke very slightly not long before the alarm.  I do believe that I had a good six hours of sleep.

Although, I found it hard to keep my focus at the job.  I was a bit scatter-brained today and even on the way home.  But after hitting the gym I'm feeling much better and more focused and present in the present.

Thank You Spirit.

Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Ace of Cups: A gift of love.  The beginning of a love affair, friendship, or partnership.”

The day is about good feelings and good overall energy in every aspect of my life.  The job is going well.  My relationship is strong and vibrant and I’m developing a great state of being for myself.  Love is in the air so-to-speak as most everyone was in a good mood and high spirits.  It’s also a great day to listen to your heart, your feelings and your intuition.  Allow yourself to be guided by the inner voice, your higher calling and bring light and joy to others by doing so.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

The 3 of Coins and Bringing Benefit to Others

Wednesday, August 6th, 2014.  I remember what seems not long but is actually 4 months ago how I thought I’d be working on my business project and having it much further along than I do but the reality is that I’m kind of spinning my wheels a little bit.  I need to sit down and write out my plans again and then stick to them and some the items can be worked on during my “free” evenings and weekends, heck even during my lunch break.  I have to get on with it.

More images during a bit of daydreaming where I’m passionately working with Tarot, many different decks and with many people around—on the beach, in a park, on the side of the road, in a parking lot.

Thank You Spirit.

Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “3 of Coins: A child’s room.  Creating a positive environment for someone.  Work done for the pleasure of it.”

I can often get lost in an activity and as a result find that time has passed me by.  When I bake or am intently and passionately preparing a larger dinner than usual time can seemingly disappear quite quickly.  Even when I work with Tarot, on the weekends that is I can easily lose track of time.  I’m also find this can happen at the job and that working as part of a team at my job does provide me with a great sense of accomplishment and realization that I’m much more skilful and talented that I give myself credit for.

I need to embrace these newly realized skills and talents and bring these together with better planning and preparation so that I can successfully launch my website and business embracing the spiritual energy that encompasses me and my ideas so I can be true to divine grace that fills my life.  Launching my website and embracing my business with sacred awareness and with great appreciation for the spiritual experience it gives to me allows me to do more than anything else work with others to bring better energy and success to their lives.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

VII The Chariot and Energy Driving Us to Success

Tuesday, August 5th, 2014.  I slept quite well last although I did have a few waking moments thinking it must be time to get u so I interrupted my own sleep thinking that the alarm was going to sound at any moment.  I likely awoke a few hours before the alarm so I need to do a better job of relaxing myself when this happens.

I awoke feeling quite good and got on with the morning starting with working with Tarot and Spirit.  Today’s visiting Tarot Card is “VII The Chariot:  Among the highs and lows of life, make sure you enjoy the highs.  At the top of one's game.  Seizing an opportunity.  Having everything under control (barely).”

Movement is around the corner.  Our energy should be being released soon for growth and movement in areas of goals and desires.  My energy is high to see my goals through where they take off and grow in ways I haven’t even thought about.  Images of how I can move forward and grow in all areas of life come to mind daily and it is daily that I need to put them into practice.

Enjoy this day of good tidings and energy that wants to drive us through to success.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

The 6 of Cups, Fond Memories, and Unexpected Acts of Kindness

Monday, August 4th, 2014.  Happy Birthday to my sister!

Today is a civic holiday, a very much appreciated and valued day off from work.  This summer is a challenge for me as I feel like I should be out traveling on the road.  Every time I see a vehicle that looks laden with people and their vacation supplies I feel a tug on my spirit that I should be doing the same thing traveling o the road enjoying the sights and sounds of nature and all that fills our sight, our senses, and our spirits with the tender soothing caress of nature.

Yesterday we took in Vancouver’s 36th Annual Pride Parade along with about 650,000 other fine folk who value acceptance and diversity as well who wish not too harshly judge or label others because they are different from them.  The parade was festive, lively, and fun.

Then we grabbed a bite to eat before walking with the masses at the parades end and the rest of the day’s festival events.  We walked through the festival, grabbed a coffee on our way home where we grabbed the car and proceeded to take care of our weekly shopping. And relaxing the rest of the evening watching the last remaining bit of “Cloud Atlas” we did not finish the night before.

Thank You Spirit.

Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is “6 of Cups: Happy Birthday.  Fond memories.  A gift given in friendship or love.”

Fond memories as I was still shaking of the night’s sleep I seemed to be recalling memories I do not recognize as my own from the past but more likely memories from the future I have yet to experience.  Gifts, small gifts of appreciation that make the deepest impressions are the aim of the day—breakfast in bed, flowers just because, an unexpected peck on the cheek, or doing chores without being asked or even helping a stranger across the street or carrying their heavy bags for them.  Acts of unexpected kindness go a long way today.  Let love and kindness become a state of mind where they are naturally on display each and every day.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

IX The Hermit and Sacred Awareness and Spiritual Experiences

Sunday, August 3rd, 2014.  Yesterday was a pretty darned relaxing day.  We checked out another naturist’s beach in the Surrey/White Rock area and decided it was a nice hike rather than a nice beach to relax at and soak up the Sun.  So we decided to head toward Wreck Beach via a lunch break at Fat Burger.  Then I remembered that there was a sporting event at UBC, the access point to Wreck Beach, roads and parking areas were to be blocked off and closed so Wreck Beach was out of the question.  We returned home and relaxed as best we could before heading out for a shady spot in the outdoors to get some fresh air.  But first we had ourselves each two scoops of gelato from Tre Galli.  We strolled along the quay then grabbed a shady bench and relaxed for awhile simply chatting and enjoying the river view and the people also strolling along the quay.  Soon we found ourselves home after buying a few things at Donald’s Market to make a couple of sandwiches for dinner.

Oh, after a month or so of growing a beard I decided to shave it off yesterday and boy do I miss it.  I’m growing it back.
Last night I had dreams about Tarot Cards and crystals and interacting with people regarding why I had them and what I did with them.  Nice.  I do my best to maintain sacred awareness and experience everything spiritually including sleep and the semi-conscious state I sometimes find myself in.

Thank You Spirit.

Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is “IX The Hermit: To fully understand something, sometimes you must escape it.  Gaining perspective.  Solitude.  Study.”

This is about taking time out so I can hear the voice within.  The voice that is more often than not drowned out by all the external noise and distraction in our lives even those that we may think are valuable enough to pay attention to.  It’s not so much escaping as it is embracing a healthy dose of silence and solitude in our lives so we can indeed have that sacred awareness in our lives where we view life through divine eyes as the divine view life through ours.

At times we might not even need real solitude but simple sacred awareness to see the divine voice all around us.  The birds singing in our neighbourhood, a single flower growing in a crack in the sidewalk, the caress of a warm summer wind, the waves of the ocean massaging the sandy beach or the sunlight filtering through the trees in the park that seem to create an oasis for us in the middle of nature—take a moment, close your eyes and breathe.

We are all connected, it’s time to pay attention to and be more aware of this connection and power, energy, love, peace, and comfort it can bring into our lives and the world around us.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

The 4 of Wands and Signs of Progress

Saturday, August 2nd, 2014.  I had a decent night’s sleep all likely because today is not a “work” day where I have to get up and drive to a “job”.  However, my nights of sleep are up and down and I’ll live with this until such a time as my debts are paid and full and I can more comfortably jump from a well paying secure job to a more risky self-employment venture.  But I’m willing to make the leap and the wheels are already in motion.

I’ll work toward my self-employment with the launch of a website and new business idea in the coming days and do my best to work as I can for the clients that drop by and seek out my services.  I may have to busy up my evenings and weekends to do it but in the end it is a worthy investment of my time and I’m very happy to do it.

Thank You Spirit.

Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “4 of Wands: Setting the Stage.  Opening night finally arrives.  A venture has been established.  Celebrating initial achievements.”

Progress is being made through compromise, harmony, and balance as well as going with the flow and working with instead of against the abundant spiritual energy that is working in my life these days.  I’m developing a good rhythm and flow of energy at my “job” as well as fleshing out and solidifying my plans and goals for the future through short meditations and dreams.  I’m also paying more attention to life and am much more engaged in sacred awareness and the spiritual experiences that abound each and every day.

Thank You Spirit.

Also, during the shuffling of the cards, the “Guide of Coins: Seeing the magic in the mundane.  Spiritual fulfillment from nature.  Finding joy in the ordinary.” was making his presence known.  Twice, he almost flipped out of the deck as I shuffled it.  The “Guide of Coins” is reminding where I find the most enjoyment in life and in order to bring more harmony and balance into my life I need to keep my focus on the simple and mundane things in life as well as the joy I get from being a part of “nature”.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

The 3 of Swords and the 2 of Coins

Thursday, August 1st, 2014.  Well, I missed a day.  We hit the beach as soon as I got off work and drove an hour to get there.  It’s worth the effort though on most occasions when the true “Wreck Beach” crowd is as it’s peaceful, tranquil and soothing to the spirit.

Yesterday was a good day as I accomplished a day, almost two days worth of work, having to process orders to accommodate the long weekend.

Thank You Spirit.

Yesterday’s visiting Tarot Card is the “3 of Swords: The Wreckage.  Feeling heavy-hearted after an emotional storm.  Feeling hurt or betrayed.”

Today, I understand the “3 of Swords” better than I did yesterday although I do still have to make a call to someone from my past that I’d really rather not make but I’ll do it later this evening.  But today I faced some facts about myself that lightened my spirit and really improved my overall mood and understanding of my life.  Facing the truth honestly makes it less painful and easier to work through and/or overcome.

Today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “2 of Coins: Tai Chi.  Flexibility.  “Going with the flow”.  Living in tune with your environment.”

I need to spend more time in meditation and with Spirit.  I need to work more balance and harmony into my life by “Going with the flow”.  I’m in a pretty good place now and should simply spend some time enjoying myself and what my situation in life allows.  I’ve come to understand my own life and the flow of my own personal energy and likely the best way to work with it as I become more self-sufficient, self-reliant, and self-employed.  As an example, I know that I need to work at my current job until I am absolutely debt-free unless of course, Spirit has other plans for me.  However, I understand that I have some karmic debt to pay as well so I’m embracing my jog and going with the flow so that my bank account is more in the black than in the red.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

The Youth of Coins

Wednesday, July 30th, 2014.  I had a good night’s sleep even with awaking for a spell.  However, I was able to get myself quickly back to sleep by thinking of serving clients upon the launch of my website and business.  Then I became slightly conscious just a minute or so before the alarm.  In one of my dreams I was taking bags out of a pair of ski boots and upon sealing one the plastic bags shut I discovered that several mice had made one of the boots their home.  I struggled to tear open the bag and the cute mice were struggling to breathe.  When I finally ripped the bag open the mice gulped in air.  An interesting dream.  It intrigued me all day.

Thank you Spirit.

Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Youth of Coins: Focusing on the physical.  Beginning a regimen.  Matters relating to nutrition and exercise.”

I’ve decided to the gym 4 to 5 times per week and do my best to eat healthy and stay away from junk food.  I’ve been quite successful at reducing sugar in my diet and as a result lost about fifteen pounds in two years but now I want to gain that weight back through building up my muscle mass and taking in more healthy calories.

On the business front I do have lingering doubts about how successful I will be but think I’ve discovered ways to overcome and transcend these doubts.  I getting more serious about meditation as well as working with the crystals I have in my possession.  And as I crawl into bed and get into sleep mode I’ll do my utmost to think all things spiritual.

We must strive to maintain a healthy lifestyle-mind, body, and spirit.  We must do our best to experience Spirit and know that we can have all that we desire if we focus on and experience Spirit so our faith is infused with Spirit and the knowledge that success is ours if we really want it.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

XII The Hanged Man and Making the Necessary Repairs

Tuesday, July 29th, 2014.  I slept better last night but still awoke about an hour before the alarm.  Luckily though I slept enough so as not be half asleep today unlike yesterday.  Thank goodness!

My work day morning’s are still rushed however I do not have the inclination to awake any earlier.  I have no impulse to jump out of bed when I awake and see that the time is such that I could easily get out of bed and allow myself more time to work with Tarot but I usually want nothing more than to simply lay there tossing and turning.  I’m not sure what this about as I had no problems doing this when I worked at other jobs.  I guess it’s just too early of a wake-up and I never crawl into bed early enough to get a decent night’s rest.

This is okay though as I’m on a mission to pay off my debt.  I’ll simply say that my debt is paid off.  I should speak in the present tense to generate more positive energy regarding this and this goes as well for me being self-employed too!
Thank You Spirit.

Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is “XII The Hanged Man: Living in the moment.  Being fully absorbed in the present.  Nonattachment to goals.  Seeing things from a new angle.”

I’ve still got a few changes and repairs to make to and in my life so I can rid myself of bad habits and negative thought patterns.  I’m kind of feeling like I’m in a holding pattern right now where my forward momentum has slowed down almost to a stall.  I need to come clean with myself in a few areas before the forward motion picks up delvers me to where I want to be in life.  I’ve also got to leave my goals alone so-to-speak so they can sprout and grow with the energy that the universe is putting toward them instead of replanting the seeds all of the time.

Plant your goals in the fertile soil of the universe with plenty of love and happiness then leave them alone so that the universal life force can nourish them and bring them to life.  Allow the universe to water and fertilize your goals so they sprout and grow and produce the fruit for you to harvest.  This is non-attachment.  Faith founded in experience and knowledge that what you desire is your already.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

IX The Hermit and Creating Solitude to Welcome the Divine

Monday, July 28th, 2014.  It seemed to be quite the long night and I found myself more awake than asleep.  I didn’t think much of it until the work day was under full swing and I was having a hard time staying focused and aware.  I found myself to be quite sleepy, my eyes were heavy and as the end of the work day fast approached I was yawning and yearning for a bed to fall into and drift off to sleep on.  I felt a little better after lunch long enough to double check my work to ensure I was not making any more mistakes.  Although one slipped through, but it was a quick and easy fix.

My eyes were heavy all the way home and in hindsight I should have not sat behind the wheel as I struggling to fend off the desire to sleep and my eyes closed on me several times.

However, once I arrived home I had a quick boost of energy and was able to sit for a few minutes to meditate on today’s visiting Tarot Card.  I had some insight into the card at lunch but the desire to meditate on it was strong enough for me to have the necessary energy to sit down and reflect on “IX The Hermit: To fully understand something, sometimes you must escape it.  Gaining perspective.  Solitude.  Study.”

Finding solitude and time to close out the external noise in order to hear the divine voice from within is a perfect way to meditate and reflect on “IX The Hermit”.  After a few minutes of winding down I sat in front of my altar, grabbed my small amethyst sphere and did my best to meditate.  It took some time before my own thoughts ran their course and I was able to clear my mind but I was happy to see my own image sitting at a table in a darkened room laying out Tarot Cards on my altar cloth.  A sure sign that I need to get on with it and do Tarot readings for others, starting with myself.  I need to live Tarot.

It’s nice to come home to silence as well.  My partner was at the gym and I had the place to myself for about 30 minutes.  No distraction, a perfect time for utter silence.  And when my own thoughts gave way to spirit, I simply was.

In these busy hectic and noisy times we live in silence can be hard to come by however it is worth the effort and struggle it takes to find a quiet solitude where we can simply be, clear out our thoughts so we can make space for the divine to dwell within us, within our space and time so we can better improve our lives and be testaments to leading a spirit infused life.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

III The Empress and Responsibility and Action Not Reaction

Sunday, July 27th, 2014.  Yesterday was all about putting our condo back together.  Back on Tuesday, July 1st I went to warm up some milk in the microwave to finish my last cup of café con leche.  I hit the “Quick Minute” and the pressed “Start” and walked a couple of steps—silence, I look back and the screen on the microwave is blank and pressing various buttons yielded no results.  I check the break.  It was fine.  I checked the receptacle and it was fine.  Uh-oh, the microwave died.

My work hours did not allow us to bring the microwave to any of the authorized Panasonic repair facilities until the weekend.  So all-in-all we’ve been without a microwave for almost a month but we managed.  And it’s not simply a microwave it also acts as our oven hood and exhaust fan as well as light over the stove.

Removing the microwave proved difficult as it was not installed according to the instructions we found online.  In fact, they further secured the microwave to the wall beyond using the support arms by screwing the microwave itself to the wall.  We fought for an hour through blood sweat, and almost tears to get it off the wall as the support mechanism itself was coming off the wall and the microwave was getting hung up on it.

Yesterday, it took us an hour and a half to install it as the support mechanism for the microwave is not enough to keep the microwave stable and in a locked position.  So I measured and measure again then we test fit the microwave with the bottom shelf of the upper cupboards we created to have more space and finally were able to secure front of the microwave to the shelf via the mounting holes on top of the microwave.  Let’s hope it works.  The fan works, the clock works but will the most important feature, the microwave itself work?  This morning is the test.

After installing the microwave, we quickly cleaned ourselves up and went out and splurged on lunch-panini’s and gelato at Tre Galli.  Then we came, cleaned up our mess and then relaxed for the rest of the day.  I puttered around mostly, doing a whole heck of a lot of nothing.  I finally settled down after dinner, read an article or two in one of my Model Railroader magazines and a few blog entries from one of my favourite blogs -- RV-Dreams.  Then it was off to bed.

Thank You Spirit.

Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Cards (from my "Whimsical" Deck) is “The Empress: Express your ideas and take calculated risks.  Getting what you want is your responsibility.  Your passions are of primary importance to you now.  News of a wedding, pregnancy, or children arrives.  When reversed: Are you feeling inferior about your intellect, education or communications skills?  Stop it!  Don’t exaggerate your fears or be reluctant to take action.  Problems with your mother and other intimate women are imminent.”

I have taken responsibility for my life and now I’m not only living life but life is living through me as well.  I’m living with sacred awareness and enjoying every second of each and every day as a truly and uniquely spiritual experience.  Life is about love, peace, and harmony and I’m doing my part to be such an oasis for all those I encounter starting with my home.  As a result I’m seeing my life progress as I want to see it progress because in addition to love and harmony I’ve surrendered, let go and let god and thus I’m experiencing the fullness and success of life.

If we pay attention and open up every atom of our beings to sacred awareness and divine presence we will see opportunities come before us and be guided by our intuition as to how best we can live our lives but the results we desire can only come about if we take action and be responsible for our lives.  We need to be proactive not reactive.

Thank You Spirit.

XVII The Star and Sacred Awareness and Knowledge of Spirit

Saturday, July 26th.  I hit the gym after work, we had a quick dinner, and showers before checking a Venezuelan movie downtown Vancouver, “My Straight Son”.  The movie was quite good, better than expected and the cinematography was superb and it was a free screening.  We go home later but here I am up early.  I was having dreams about circle casting and spiritual experiences, witnessing spirit in action as my sacred awareness was truly awakened.

Thank You Spirit.

Now I shall go and meditate and work with Tarot…

…7:14am.  Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is “XVII The Star: Spirit is Real.  Hope. Serenity.  Clarity.  Having faith in an underlying or overlying spirit.  A dream becomes real.”  I truly believe and trust in myself.  My faith in spirit is grounded in experience and firsthand knowledge of that is.  An overnight spiritual awakening has given me sacred awareness and a new sense of spiritual existence.  I’m an integral part of a much greater whole, another piece to the puzzle, an extension of the universal life force that gives life meaning that offers us unconditional love, peace, hope, opportunity, and success.

We must accept and take hold of our true spiritual selves and move forward as the unique individuals that we are to become more self-reliant and less dependent on others for our health and well-being whether it is home, personal, or financial.  We must learn and we must absolutely stand on our own two feet for we are never alone when we are one with Spirit and true to ourselves.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

The Sage of Wands and Moving Forward

Friday, July 25th, 2014.  Got to bed early last night and found myself startled and somewhat surprised when the alarm sounded this morning.  I even thought I slept in for a brief second and was going to be late for work.  I thankfully fell asleep after tossing and turning for a short spell last night.

Thank You Spirit.

Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Sage of Wands: Wanting to change the world.  Changing your environment by winning others over to your viewpoint.  Critical acclaim.  Politics.”

I do want to change the world and I’m doing this through a change in attitude, outlook, behavior, thought, belief, and faith.  I’ve learned from my mistakes and have gained much insight that is allowing me to move humbly forward into the future.  By grabbing hold of my individuality and accepting my goals as my own and worthy of pursuit I’m finding success.  Life is a precious gift full of possibilities and opportunities we just have to open our eyes to see them.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.
