"XI Strength" and Bringing Your Passions to Life

I cannot remember a single dream I had that I enjoyed however I remember the dream related to the job, a dream I tried to dismiss as quickly as I could once I understood that I was dreaming such a dream.  I know I had other dreams as I remember awaking with some really good energy swirling about me.

Had a quick fifteen minute telephone interview for a career opportunity that is literally a minute or two walk from where I live.  And I find this employment opportunity to be a very desirable position that I want to land.  I'd love to take part in the growth and expansion of such a company as that one.  Although, at the same time my ultimate career, my biggest passion is to earn my keep through Tarot and other spiritual endeavours.

And on that note as I was just now reflecting on today's Gay Tarot Energy, "XI Strength", I started saying aloud a few phrases that are a part of a circle casting ritual...Spirit of the North...Spirit of the East...etc.

So today's Gay Tarot Energy is "XI Strength: Directing your passions, rather than suppressing them, is the key.  Finding healthy outlets for powerful energies.”
And "Finding healthy outlets for powerful energies" is the key phrase today.  And what better outlet for such powerful energies than Wicca, Tarot, Spirit?  I get it.  I understand.  It's time for some magick in my life. Let's get this "show" on the road!

Thank You Spirit.

The 'King of Stones, Wolf' and Receiving Knowledge and Wisdom from Nature

Saturday, October 31st, 2015.  'Blessed Samhain'.  Happy Halloween.

It's so nice to awake and not have to rush out anywhere.  Weekends are such a privilege and a blessing.  I enjoy my job however as I've said many time before I would much rather just pursue spiritual endeavors and somehow, otherwise earn my keep.

Awaking in the morning and devoting as much time to Spirit and Tarot as I want fills me with an abundance of love and creates a deep and intimate connection with the world.  I really cannot say more than this because it's an experience that must be experienced in order to be understood and appreciated.  Besides, trying to describe it and finding the appropriate words in my opinion diminishes the experience and realistically speaking cannot even come close to describing what one feels when he or she finds and holds onto their relationship with Spirit.

Spirit Is and today's Tarot Energy is "King of Stones, Wolf: Love of the land and of the natural world guides much of what you do.  You look often to the wisdom of others and to traditional values to colour your life choices.  Security brings pleasure; loyalty crowns every endeavour.  Trading, speculation, Mathematical ability, Loyalty and conservation, Steadfastness,  Robust health, Determination."

It's a dark, rainy morning and where would I like to be?  In my van.  In my van listening to the rain hit the roof as I revel in Spirit and the coziness that my van can offer in such weather as this.

My van, Serenity creates the ability to be like a 'wolf' as she offers a place of comfort, security, and serenity as I go out to explore and experience nature and being able to do so almost regardless of the type of weather we're having in southwestern British Columbia.

Nature is one of my best teachers followed by the wisdom of others and then the analysis of traditional values and how one or more may fit in or help shape my way of thinking and outlook on life.  Being amongst soaring trees, or in the presence of and hiking through mountainous terrain or simply hearing the waves of the mighty ocean or the rushing waters of a river or creek can teach us so much if we only dare to listen and to experience.  Then as we converse with others and get know them and their view of the world can offer us new ways of thinking and the ability to see the world through another person's eyes if we open ourselves to the experience that is.  And finally traditional values can glean much wisdom and offer sage advice if we transcend our often judgemental ways when it comes to traditional values.

Be open to learning and educational opportunities as well as new ways of thinking or of experiencing life and our interaction with others or even ourselves.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

'18 The Moon on Water' and Fine Tuning My Goals

Sunday, September 27th, 2015.  We relaxed for the morning, had lunch then headed downtown to grab a coffee before meeting our friends to catch a movie and have dinner with them.  The movie is only one of the I think 375 movies being shown at this year's VIFF or Vancouver International Film Festival.  We saw a Turkish movie, 'Ivy' that turns out to be the name of the ship that 6 sailors had to remain on just outside of a port as the ship's owner went bankrupt.  I do believe they were on the ship for about two months, ran out of food and were running low on water.  Great movie.

Dinner was at a familiar place for us, La Casita at the corner of Cordova and Abbott Streets in the Gastown neighbourhood of Vancouver.  The food is quite tasty and portion sizes are very generous.  Our friends were impressed, this having been their first visit.

After dinner we walked back to our earlier meeting place, the theatre, said our so longs before heading our separate ways.  A nice relatively early evening for us, as we arrived home around 9pm, giving us plenty of time to relax and enjoy the rest of our evening before slipping into bed...and I slept in this morning, crawling out of bed around 7:15am.

Spirit Is and today's Tarot Energy is "18 The Moon on Water heralds a time of inner transformation, initiation, or awareness.  This may take the form of a seemingly random situation based on the emotional or spiritual spheres, but your inner voice may have been whispering for some time and gone unheeded.  Now your soul brings into your physical world the symbolic keys to the collective human subconscious.  This may take the form of a desire to investigate or study a doctrine, philosophy or esoteric pursuit, or the wish to explore the untapped sexual energy and experience a tighter spiritual bond with a partner through honesty and the expression of your hidden desires.  From here, you can begin to wrestle with the concept that consciousness is not within you, but that you are within the consciousness of the universe."

For me this is a tie where my goals and desires have become more finely tuned and focused as I now know that although my goals remain relatively the same I also know that my focus has to be on simply lifting people up and inspiring them to see beyond the limitations of our human perspective and instead view the world through a spiritual and infinite lens where all possibilities exist.  As a continuation on yesterday's theme I also want to approach everyone through spirit from my spirit to theirs, recognizing them as real people and where their lives do matter.  There was no better example of this than our walk through 'Victory Square' as this is where a lot of what I'll refer to as society's castaways hangout, no disrespect intended.  I walked through the park unafraid with love and recognition that each of these individuals deserved to loved and recognized as human beings and that their lives mattered.  I left no room in my heart to either label or judge them.  I did my best to look at each of them sending love and respect their way as we walked by.

I'll be a bachelor for about ten days the latter half of October and during these ten days (I'll actually start now) on top of my already existing plans I'm going to immerse myself in Wiccan rituals and maybe even spells in order to grow, strengthen and find a way where I can quit my existing job and instead shift my focus into helping those left behind, the castaways of society, the forgotten ones, the discarded lives...

...discarded lives of individuals who may have wonderful things to offer us if they receive a little love, respect and acknowledgement that they are indeed human beings and that they matter...

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

'King of Bows, Adder' and Goals Realized

Thursday, August 6th, 2015.  I had another good night's sleep and although I awoke around I still fell back soundly to sleep until the alarm sounded at 6:00am.  It's a very natural sounding alarm though, waves, water, and a bit of soothing music and very nice to wake up to.
Then it's off to the job, not a bad job mind you and I did get another raise and it's not really all that bad just not a long term fit for me.  I need to transition into a more fulltime spiritual and fulfilling role in life.  That's all!

Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is the "King of Bows, Adder: Maturity, strength of resolve, energy and wisdom.  The genius and individuality of the seeker is enhanced and rewarded at every turn.  Your leadership is unchallenged, your path direct, your goals realized.  Seriousness, Honesty, Good intentions, Integrity, A married man, A good father, Education and wisdom."

I'm responsible and accountable for my life and I'm actively participating in and directing where I want my life to go.  I'm patient and know that my dreams, goals, desires, and passions are realized.  I sense it, feel it and am living it, the life of my dreams.

I'm serious about hitting the road as Wizard Oron, the travelling wizard, a spiritual nomad traversing roads, highways, and bi-ways of North America, to assist the spiritual revolution that is unfolding in our midst and inspiring people like YOU to BE more than you believe you can be.
Open yourself up to life and to actually living it!

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

The 'Ten of Stones-Home' and a Sense of Belonging

Saturday, August 1st, 2015.  Welcome to the first day of August and here in New Westminster catching a glimpse of the fading Full Moon in the early morning sky where the sunrise is brightly reflected in the glass of a tall building giving me a glimpse of its fiery presence this day.

We had a quiet Friday evening at home after a simple yet very scrumptious dinner.  Oh, and after many days of missing the gym I made it there after work for a very satisfying workout.  It sure feels good to work my muscles.  I might have mentioned this before but I do a simple workout that focuses on the major muscle groups so I can pretty much get in and out of the gym in about forty-five minutes.  I do this because I just focus on doing my reps and my sets with minimal delay.  Thirty second pauses between each rep and about sixty seconds between each exercise.

We were in bed early and it was a bit warm for sleeping so I awoke a few times.  One of us turned the AC back on as it must have been a little too hot for them to get to sleep.  I didn't even notice.  Then it was suddenly time to hop out of bed.  I opened my eyes and knew it was a good to start the day.

Thank You Spirit.

Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is the "Ten of Stones. Home: The traditional concept of home and family has evolved and change over the last few decades, but certain basic notions remain unchanged.  In the traditional British family, where the father went to work and the mother stayed home to manage the house and the children, home was the place we always came back to, where stability and a well-founded set of traditions and social rules applied.  It was both guarded and guided by love, respect and loyalty.  As children, we see  home as a place of security and caring.  As young adults exploring the world, it can be wherever you lay your hat r guitar case.  In later life, it may become your own heart's stronghold and sanctuary.  For some, the concept of home is just that: an idea, a hope, a dream, not merely a shelter from the elements or an investment in bricks and plaster.  For some, it truly is where love resides and is the final destination after a colourful or arduous life journey."

As soon as I laid eye upon the "Ten of Stones, Home" I was filled with the feeling of having come home, of having found my place in the world where I'm comfortable, satisfied and filled with a sense of and of fulfilling my purpose.  I've come home and I've found my place in the world.  How much better can it be...life is abundant and prosperous in the most important areas of my life.  I know where I belong, I'm in a loving relationship in a beautiful home, and I, and we are living very simple, ordinary rich full lives.

Instead of focusing on possessions and collecting a house full of knick knacks and other things that weigh us down we are divesting ourselves of such possessions and experiencing a new sense of freedom and well-being as a result.  Our home is becoming an oasis of contentment and well-being as it is free of unnecessary weight and clutter.  My plain and simple goal is to be able to take all of my possessions with me in my camper van.  I still have a ways to go but I'm getting there.  Become a minimalist and you'll be surprised how freeing it can be...after all it's just stuff...really it's just stuff that you really don't need.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

'Nine of Arrows - Dedication' and Heeding The Call

Tuesday, July 28th, 2015.  Another great evening of understanding my present and my present self along with feeling quite at ease with really owning Wizard Oron as part of my identity.  I feel great!

To move forward I need to truly and sincerely turn my passion for all things spiritual into a full-time endeavour.  I love the world of Tarot, Wicca, Chakras, Auras, and Magick and all the symbolism and activities that go along with it...energy raising and releasing, wands, pentacles, athames, cauldrons, candles, incense, crystals, stones, and jewelry of all sorts...the moon, sun, and stars...amazing, simply amazing!

Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is the "Nine of Arrows, Dedication: To heed the calling to dedicate one's life to any skill, spiritual path, belief system or philosophy requires sincerity, self-discipline and hard work.  It is a sacred summoning that requires time and effort.  For those who hear the calling and become spiritual warriors and protectors of the land, responsibility and sacrifice are also required.  To deny that the human species has had a negative effect on the planet's climate and atmosphere seems totally redundant.   The growing awareness of our individual impact on the ecosystem may take on greater significance in the future.  We cannot predict what effect our avarice and rapacious exploitation of the land will eventually produce, but the dedicated defender of the soil must protect the living legacy we leave for our children.  To teach by example the value of respecting others' beliefs and philosophies in honouring the land is immensely important.  Sometimes a simple daily ritual reminds us of the oath we have taken to conserve and protect the environment.  Dedicate yourself to the task of preserving the land and be a part of making the difference."

Do you hear a voice calling out to you?  Do you feel a tap on your shoulder?  Is someone, something trying to get your attention?

"To heed the calling to dedicate one's life to any skill, spiritual path, belief system or philosophy requires sincerity, self-discipline and hard work.  It is a sacred summoning that requires time and effort."  And let me tell you, I've heard the calling for years, if not decades so it seems only natural for me to finally take notice of this call, take action and dedicate my life to doing my part and whatever else I can to bring about positive change to this world.  I need to devote my skills and talents to the greater good.  I'm reaching out to my higher self and my highest, our highest ideals.  I can be, I am a better person.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

'Four of Bows: Celebration' and a Shift in Awareness

Tuesday, July 21st, 2015.  Have Fun With It!  Don't Take It So Seriously!  Have Fun With It!

These phrases came to mind today.  First it was "Have Fun With It!"  I didn't take notice of it until I was riding down the elevator after visiting a potential customer doing a trial with the company I work for.  The elevator had mirrors on the walls and in awestruck moment, the 'Aha' moment I looked in the mirror and went "Have Fun With It!".  This was a moment where I remembered something I read in 'The True Secret of Writing'...a moment where my awareness shifted.  The as I was mesmerized about this simple phrase, the second phrase came to mind 'Don't Take It So Seriously!'.  My goodness I was in a moment of pure being and unconditional happiness.

Thank You Spirit.

Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to read 'The True Secret of Writing' and be struck by the words of its author, 'Natalie Goldberg'.  What a fantastic book.  I cannot believe the changes taking place in my life.  My awareness has shifted so much so that I was able to recognize and enjoy a total shift in my awareness today.  And thankfully so...

Today's visiting Tarot is "Four of Bows, Celebration: While focus, effort and dedication are inherent in the mastery of any skill that requires patience and practice, a time for relaxation and thankful celebration is also valuable.  Without the timely and earned reward of indulgence, pleasure and friendship we become detached  and isolated from those with whom we share a kinship and a common moral code and bond.  To be able to relax and share in the bounty is a part of the human spirit's healing process and is how we refresh and nourish our soul.  Whether the celebration is traditional festival or the marking of a personal achievement, to allow the empowering energy of carefree celebration and laughter to revitalize our resolve and rekindle our desire is a gift from which reflection on the beauty, generosity and natural wonder becomes available.  To share and exchange the bounty of good fortune with those we love and respect is the most rewarding celebration in which we can indulge ourselves."

The "Four of Bows" combined with 'Have Fun With It!  Don't Take It So Seriously!' have energized me and given good reason to celebrate who I am and what I want out of life and what I'd like to give back.  With what I'm receiving in life and what I'm giving back.  Wizard Oron, Wicca, Tarot, Spirituality/Spiritualism, being a Spiritual Nomad, and buying a camper van are all meaningful yet fun areas of my life.  I live through and for each of these.  I'm Wizard Oron.  I practice a form of Wicca.  I love and believe in the Spirit and Energy of Tarot.  Spirituality/Spiritualism are alive and real and in my life.  I'm a Spiritual Nomad and buying a camper van is providing me with a mobile lifestyle that has been calling out to me for as long as I can remember.

So what am I celebrating?  I'm celebrating a change in awareness, a recognized and uplifting change in awareness.  A change that I paid attention to, paid attention to, long enough to follow it to a new thought and a whole new dynamic in the areas that I'm most passionate about.

Unbelievable!

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

The 'Ace of Coins' and Using Magick

Tuesday, May 19, 2015.  The long weekend was a welcome time of togetherness and love.  We spent the weekend together enjoying the bounty that life has to offer as we re-explored Burns Bog, strolled along the waterfront promenade in White Rock, enjoyed lunch at a favourite restaurant and enjoyed another sun filled walk along Vancouver's False Creek.  We relaxed and enjoyed our quiet afternoons and evenings at home as we expressed much gratitude for having the opportunity an privilege to live in such a great place as the lower mainland more commonly known now as Metro Vancouver.

Thank You Spirit.

Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is the “Ace of Coins: A gift of security.  Starting to build or construct something.  A fertile environment"

We are so interconnected with the Earth and have access to so much energy and force to effect change in our lives I wonder why most of us do so little with it.  I'm very guilty at this and am only now after 15 years of simply dabbling in the world of Wicca and Paganism, truly practising magick in my life.  I've become a more active participant in my life and am doing more now than ever before to make a physical reality of my thoughts, ideas, and dreams.  And what a difference this makes in my life.

Nothing necessarily Earth shattering or newsworthy however for me some outcomes of my magickal practices have been quite momentous.  My magickal and spiritual tools, supplies, and energies have take on more meaning and play a much more active role in my life than they ever have in the previous fifteen years.

I can truly say that today, I live and breathe Magick, Tarot and Spirit.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

The "8 of Cups" and Being a Witch

Tuesday, May 5, 2015.  I took it easy yesterday, as easy as I could make myself take considering I have a hard time sitting still.  But I was feeling under the weather so I chose not to go to the gym.  So I read a few pages out of two issues of Witches and Pagans magazine which gave me some much needed spiritual lift and encouragement.  I felt spiritually awesome going to bed but had a bit of a nightmare where I subconsciously said that I was a "failure".  Luckily though, I had spiritual kick in the butt and was told that I cannot think that way then I quickly fell asleep.

I awoke feeling a bit lethargic and unprepared to get out of bed let alone open my eyes however that's what I did.

Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is the “8 of Cups: Farewell.  Moving on.  Leaving behind a person, a situation, or a part of yourself"

How fitting to see the “8 of Cups" and how thankful I am to identify where I need to make changes and what I need to let go of and let slip into the past.  Pessimism, self-doubt, and revolving worries, and anxiety over things that are done and over with.  I have to move on.  Also, I need to move things in the direction I want them to go.

The first move I'm making right now is to acknowledge and declare that I'm a "witch", the second is to move away from my lackadaisical and lazy approach to Wicca, Witchcraft, Tarot, and magickal practice and take up a more focused, real, and spiritually enriched study and practice of each of them.  I believe and have faith in being a real and practising witch and wish to embrace this through living and breathing the energy, spirit, and magic of the witch.

The goddess and god I identified with more than a decade ago are Freya and Bacchus, more recently enamoured with a gypsy goddess and god as I really believe that I belong on the road travelling with no clear destination in mind only knowing that I need to drive and interact with people I meet along the way.

I still feel that way but for now I'm a model railroad building witch.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

4 of Coins and Willing to Give Up Control for Change

Thursday, February 13th, 2014.  So I was awake well before the alarm or so I think and as I try to do I did my mental spiritual preparation and fell asleep doing it and picking it up upon awaking.  I awoke quite a few times throughout the night and was expecting a long tough sleepy day but to my surprise I was not tired but the day still seemed longer than normal.  Maybe it was all my electronic paperwork I was doing all day!

Thank You Spirit.

Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “4 of Coins: The Lighting Director.  A position of power.  Wanting to control how others perceive things.”

Exerting excessive control over one’s life is not healthy so the best option is to exercise moderate control and a good degree of flexibility in our lives.  We need to be spiritually strong and alert so as to know when control is needed and when change has to occur.

I may need to adopt some change or even many changes in my life to keep myself moving toward my dreams, goals, and desires before my chances are slim and next to none in realizing any of them.  I need to perhaps be bold and daring and throw chance to the wind, take a huge risk and go for it.  Go for what exactly?  Be all that I wish to be, is what.  A writer, a ventriloquist, a Spiritualist (Tarot and Wicca, Mystical Research) and a nomad traveling at a snail’s pace across this great land in my tiny, old RV.  I’m giving myself two years or less to become debt free and then I’m out the door and on my way!

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

XIV Temperance and Mixing It Up a Little

Thursday, January 9th, 2014.  I got so distracted this evening that I forgot about writing here in my spiritual/tarot journal and blog.  It was a ho-hum day; nothing really stands out other than the weather.  The rain was coming down in sheets when I left work at 5:00pm but luckily light enough where I didn’t get too wet walking over to the gym.  Working out felt really good and the gym was not overly busy.

Spiritually I was getting into a good place and even smiled while working and before making a few calls.  I think this is a good practice as then I’m in a good place before making each call.  It may not result in booking an appointment for the sales manager however I feel good when I do this.

Thank You Spirit.

Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is “XIV Temperance: Mix things up a little.  Combining separate elements to create something new.  Moderation (not too much of each flavour).  Flexibility.”

What I need to do is juggle things around a little so I’m always focused on one thing at a time, such as my model railroad.  I need to mix things up a little and practice my Spanish, make cards, practice ventriloquism, and try to come up some ventriloquist scripts all the while continuing to write.  Oh, I just thought of something.  I also need to dig out my Wiccan supplies and bring them out into the open.  Almost forgot I had candles, oils, and incense for Sabbats and Full Moon Rituals.  Thank goodness I remembered.  Next on my list of things to do tonight, dig out all things Wicca.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

Turn Things Inside Out or Uside Down and V The Priest

I’m feeling a bit blue this morning however my heart is full of love, love from the Goddess and God.  I guess it’s because I have dreams and goals in mind and too impatient to wait for them to come to fruition.  As well, I realize the mistakes I made and had I done things a little differently I’d be feeling a lot better today.  But I’ve learned yet another lesson and this is a good thing.

My studied of Wicca and Tarot are coming along nicely and even though I may not be reading a book or meditating I am learning in other ways – meeting smiles on the street or in the store, nature tapping you on the shoulder to say a quick “Hello” or the simple act of making dinner and infusing it with love with a quick stir or two.

Thank You Gracious Goddess and God for the gentle reminders of your presence in my life.

I’m feeling a better now.

Today’s visiting Tarot Card is “V The Priest: The best way to help others is to help them make their own decisions.  Wisdom.  Advice.  A promise.  A ceremony or ritual."

I got the sense when looking at this card that I needed to look at the larger picture, see things from a new and/or different perspective , to perhaps turn things around a little, turn things inside out to gain that new perspective, to put a bit of a different spin on the situation.  Hhhmmm. . .things are making a wee bit more sense already. . .

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be

10 of Swords and X The Wheel of Life

Sleep was not quickly forthcoming last night either for me or my partner.  We both got out of bed for awhile before getting back into bed and still finding sleep hard to find.  I had a dream about a physiotherapy and massage therapy session I went to that seemed more like torture and then awoke with a terribly sore back, could hardly move when I first got up.

Yesterday was a decent enough day as we went out to see “Anna Karenina”, what a beautiful movie.  After the movie we had a late lunch a noodle place before heading over to the quay for our afternoon coffee, then it was onward home, where we spent the rest of the afternoon and evening relaxing.

Oh yeah almost forgot I read an article about drumming, chants, and trances and hope to have a drum come into my life and as a part of this I also hope to find an artist or someone who can design Pagan and/or Wiccan inspired rubber stamps that I can put to good use in making handcrafted cards that suit my Spiritual Path and Beliefs.

So Mote it Be.

Today’s visiting cards fell away from the deck as I was in the process of cutting the deck three times.  They are the “10 of Swords: You Choose the Script.  You can choose to plug yourself into a negative viewpoint, or to unplug yourself from one.  The end of a bad situation.  Hysterical overreaction." and “X The Wheel of Life: If life on the rim makes you dizzy, move to the center.  Awareness of the circles of life.  Equanimity.  A change in fortunes.  Guidance from your future or past self."

This is an interesting pair of cards to have come visit for the day.  When I delve further into these cards I get the sense that I need to follow my intuition/instinct and gut feelings if you as I already know what I need to do to really create the life I want and simply or maybe not so simply act on it.  I have a strong sense of what I need to do and where I need to go in life however I also have a bit of fear creeping in about the unknown that this, that these decisions will bring into or upon my life.  Give me strength and courage Gracious Goddess and God to act on this knowledge and intuition I have and to face the unknown future that lies ahead.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

Back in 1999

I've written about this before but felt I should revisit my introduction to Wicca and Witchcraft back in 1999 when I started a new job that became a short0lived career in 2005/6 when the the company I worked closed it's office in Vancouver.

The company I worked for only had three employees in the Vancouver office of which I was one however we were responsible a large volume of sales in the emerging phone card market.  One of the employees and I had many chances to converse about things other than work and eventually the subject of Wicca and Witchcraft came up.  We talked on and off about it until she departed the company a few years later.  She lent me a book about Wicca that I devoured and read from cover to cover, Wicca: The Old Religion in the New Millennium written by Vivianne Crowley and published by Thorsons, An Imprint of Harper Collins Publishers in 1996.

I also researched the internet and printed off a huge volume of all things related to Wicca and Witchcraft (it's 3 inches thick):

During the early 2000's I got a bit sidetracked for a few years but luckily met my current partner who I thank for rescuing me from pursuing and trying to live a false life and identity.  Unfortunately, I allowed myself to get involved in and attend an evangelical church that so disconnected me from Spirit that it took me a long time to recover the closed mindedness it set upon me.  However, each to their own, it did not work for me and I did not fit into it's mold.

Today is St. Brigid's Day and tomorrow Imbolc and how wonderful it is to observe these two days and honour the Goddess and God and lay out my plans and goals for the year and to celebrate the lengthening days and increasing light of the year.

I take this time to renew and rededicate myself to the Goddess and God and Wiccan path.  I am Wicca, I am a Witch and I give thanks for this.

Blessed Be.

2 of Coins

Yesterday was wash for me in terms of studying as I was so tired from not sleeping well through the night that I could hardly think.  I was even too tired to fall back to sleep so I groggily slogged through the day.

We did however manage to make a couple of trips to Creative Home Furnishings to pick up our occasional tables that we ordered in late November or early December.  Custom made pieces built in Chilliwack, BC.  They look really good.  Just what our living room needed to make it whole and complete.

Today I am feeling refreshed and raring to go and am eager to dive back into my studies of Wicca and Tarot.  I’m feeling a great energy about me today and so will make good use of the present moment and accept the gift of knowledge being bestowed upon me by the Goddess and God.  Thank you Spirit.

Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “2 of Coins: Tai Chi.  Flexibility.  “Going with the flow”.  Living in tune with your environment.”  And to do this I must follow my instincts, my intuition a s to what is the right direction for my life and what I should keep in my life and what I must discard in order to move on, move ahead and allow me create the life I want as well as to write my own story, the story of my life.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

2 of Swords - Get the Message

Had a decent night’s sleep and am ready for this day.  Yesterday’s rains left a sweet divine fragrance in the air.  Lovely, just lovely.  The air so fresh and sweet smelling.

I’ve really immersed myself into the world of Paganism, Wicca, and Witchcraft and I’m loving every minute of it.  I’m a sponge soaking up every bit of information I can so I can have a true appreciate for and a great understanding of these intermingled paths.  Almost every day I interact with the Goddess and God, lighting candles and incense, giving reverence to the Moon, enjoying and interacting with the plants within my home, enjoying the fresh air during an afternoon walk.

Thank You Spirit.

Today’s visiting Tarot Card is a repeat visitor from Monday, the “2 of Swords: Meditation.  Closing your eyes to outer circumstances in order to gain perspective or to avoid a decision.  Refusing to act".  I do believe that I need to sit down, meditate and make a decision on an important matter in my life.  Meditation is necessary so I can pinpoint what it is I must act on as I feel that I’m missing something here.  I certainly hope I’m not avoiding something of importance.

Off to meditate and reflect.

Thank You Spirit

Thanks for being here.

Merry Meet and Merry Part, and Merry Meet again

Blessed Be.

IV The Emperor

I had an enjoyable day yesterday.  I spent the day mostly relaxing and reading.  However, I did get a couple of loads of laundry done, made breakfast fruit squares for my partner and I assembled a few crafting items together that I purchased long ago but have never used.  I will try my hand at selling them on Craigslist.

As I was reading all things pagan, wiccan, and witchy I thought to myself that I’m all three of these if I must wear a label and in fact I dislike being labeled in such a way because it is so limiting and constricting of my much larger identity as is for any of us.  We are all multifaceted and unique individuals such that specific labels cannot really capture who we are and fact should only be used in a very general sense so we are not bound to the perceptions such labels evoke in others.  For instance, in addition to being pagan, wiccan, and a witch, I’m also a craft's person, RVer, amateur ventriloquist, model railroad enthusiast, and (blog) writer.
Thank You Spirit.

Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is “IV The Emperor: Sometimes one must be a benevolent despot.  Organization.  Taking charge.  An authority figure.  Utilizing discipline to provide a structure for creativity.”  As I started to go through my crafting tools and supplies yesterday to sort through them I felt a great sense of relief as I added many items to a pile of things I intend to sell and get rid of.  I have much more to go through I’m sure and this heavy anchor I’ve been lugging around for many years has finally disappeared.  De-cluttering and organizing sure has a way to lift weight off of one’s shoulders and lighten the mood and improve the energy of a place and/or space.

I owe my efforts to reading the archived posts of a new blog I discovered over the weekend, “Wiccan Writes”.  Thank you Robin Larkspur for your encouraging words and calm and gentle spirit.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

VII The Chariot

Had to go through more of a healing cycle yesterday.  Had a bit of a meltdown as I walked along the river in Pier Park here in New Westminster.  Had to get a few things off my chest and what better way and a better place to do it than out by a river and out in the fresh air?  I feel all the better for it even though it got a bit ugly.  I am feeling truly cleansed and ready to move forward as a renewed person filled with new energy and a new sense of vitality and a sense of knowing what I need to do in order to live out my dreams and achieve my goals.

Thank You Spirit.

Had a restful night’s sleep and enjoyed a bit of the crisp, fresh air out on the deck as I worked with Tarot.  Today’s visiting Tarot Card is “VII The Chariot: Among the highs and lows of life, make sure you enjoy the highs.  At the top of one's game.  Seizing an opportunity.  Having everything under control (barely)".  Got to keep myself connected with Spirit and the positive energy that abounds so this means daily meditation and reflection and fully immersing myself into my Spirituality and practice of Wicca/Witchcraft.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

Youth of Wands

Well sleep was good.  I awoke briefly a couple of times, got up to go pee but otherwise slept rather soundly.  I do not recall my dreams but I should make a conscious effort to try to as they could assist me in achieving my goals and living out my dreams.

Since it is the waning moon I’m in the process of releasing negativity and negative energy from my life in order to evoke real change in my life.  As I reflect on the past I see many patterns in my life that repeat over and over and this is also reflected in the Tarot Cards I draw each day and the feelings and thoughts each of the cards pull into my conscious mind.  Change is needed and change is coming.  I’ve been absorbing as much as I can from Tarot and all of the witchy books and magazines I have at my disposal even going back to my old source book that I compiled a little more than a decade ago after being introduced to Wicca and Witchcraft by a new co-worker.  Thank You Mary Jo.

Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the "Youth of Wands: Focusing attention on something.  Reaching for a goal from a possibly unsteady foundation."

Now I am focusing on a goal and the foundation I’m on is an unsteady one however it is a goal I do believe I need to pursue s this is one reason I’ve taken to reflection and the decision to make some serious changes in my life.  When I meditate or just be visions come into my mind where I’m doing things I want to do but where I’m doing them is not where I am today, if this makes any sense.  In these mental pictures I seem to be very close to or very easily able to be close to or in the midst of nature.

I see outdoor altars and casting magical circles out under the darkness of sky.  At times as I mentally appear to be looking out a window the scenery is always changing from day to day or week to week, I never appear to be in any one place for very long however nature is always within arm’s reach so-to-speak.  I appear to be traveling and these mental pictures may just be reflections of my dream of traveling throughout North America or plain, old wishful thinking but they sure do fill me with great energy and really make me feel alive.
Perhaps, I need to expand my social circles and connect with people all around Canada, the US, and Mexico so I can live out this dream of mine and travel along the many highways and byways of these great lands and live life to the fullest.

Now how do I pay for all of this travel?  Ah, handcrafted greeting cards, other crafts. . .I do have talents I can take on the road with me. . .hhhmmm. . .

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

The Hockey Game

I slept fairly well last night but appeared to be having a lucid dream regarding a hedgehog that turned into a dog as he began to pee on the bed of either my sister or ‘C’, a friend of mine.  I suppose it would more likely be 'C' as I think he is the person who has expressed an interest i having a hedgehog for a pet.  This dream stretched on endlessly or so I thought.

Then I awoke a little after the dream and drifted in and out of sleep until sometime between 5 and 6, when I initially looked at the time on the clock I think it was 5:28 or 5:38 but I stayed in bed for a little before getting up.

Spirit is and today’s visiting Tarot Card fell out of the deck while I was in the shuffling process, the “5 of Wands: Hockey Game.  The project meets resistance.  Testing one's ideas against others.  An enjoyable struggle.  Competition in the marketplace".

This may be related to my card making enterprise, my study of Wicca, the RV, or even my relationship.  All four feel like they are somehow in the mix when I look at this card.  Making cards is not a struggle but I often compare my cards to others; studying Wicca and getting the RV back together and on the road are enjoyable struggles but getting the RV up to snuff has been going on for too long, and studying Wicca is just a lifelong process that will never cease but I do need to start practicing my faith now; and then my relationship is perhaps facing competition in the marketplace in some regard, don’t know how but this is just an inkling I have that is there hiding in the shadows, just out of sight.  I have no idea what this means but that's the thought I'm having.  Weird. . .

Thank You Spirit.
