A realisation that I am a Tarot Intuitive so a career in offering Tarot Intuitive service to people is my natural choice as a new career. And as I said out loud and to myself as I was driving out of the parking lot to go to a job that no longer suits me, "I quit effective immediately" since I offer Intuitive Tarot and this is how I earn my keep.
That being said I just applied for another career possibility. I need to keep myself open to other possibilities in addition to working as a Tarot Intuitive as one never knows what and where Spirit might take us as we open ourselves up new and exciting possibilities and opportunities.
Spirit Is and today's Gay Tarot Energy is the “2 of Swords: Meditation. Closing your eyes to outer circumstances in order to gain perspective or to avoid a decision. Refusing to act.”
I meditate and close my eyes to gain perspective, since the moon is full and directing my passions and the powerful energies surrounding them is the way for me to realise my full potential as one of Spirit's millions of representatives here on Terra firma. My decision is made I just need to execute it. Quitting this job I have is a given, no doubt about it. I simply need to and simply is the keyword here, simply need to find a way to quit that job and work as a Tarot Intuitive despite not having the security of a paycheque coming in.
Action is required in order to live our lives, to bring about change, to get things moving, to attract thing to us, to give and receive, to simply be.
Thank You Spirit.

The "2 of Swords" and Taking Time to Meditate In Order to Make a Decision Not Avoid One
Took the night off last night. Didn't want to do anything. Ideally, I would have liked to been alone but I did my best to meditate and let Spirit be with me and accommodate being in a relationship. Definitely in need of some alone time. I was actually telling my partner this morning that I am in need of a hike and a nature fix.
Spirit Is and today's Gay Tarot Energy is the “2 of Swords: Meditation. Closing your eyes to outer circumstances in order to gain perspective or to avoid a decision. Refusing to act.”
Decision made, I'm selling Serenity, my camper van either via consignment on the dealer's lot where I purchased her or through an auto auction. I'll be happy to break even and get the loan paid off and no longer have to deal with storage fees or extra auto insurance. Money saved, and freedom to better undertake my spiritual calling...
... the “2 of Swords" imploring me, imploring us to give some time to meditation but not at the expense of making a decision or taking action on some important matter in our lives. If we meditate at this time it must be to gain perspective and give us the will, strength and courage to make a well-thought out decision that leads to the right course of action.
As I was thinking about meditation this is where the thought of getting out in nature came to mind and in a specific area. I want to go back and visit the trees around Rolley Lake. This is where I felt the life force and energy of a few trees through touch as well as through the air and I also heard their sweet voices...once the weather is a bit drier...a visit to Rolley Lake is in order.
Nature, meditation, making a decision and taking action...a great plan to get things done and keep our lives in order.
Thank You Spirit.

The '4 of Swords' and the '2 of Swords' Asking Us to Meditate and Rest
Wednesday, October 12, 2016. Spirit Is and today's Tarot Energy is the “4 of Swords: Napping Between Rehearsals. Resting and gathering strength for the next phase. A vacation or “time out”."
With support coming from the “2 of Swords: Meditation. Closing your eyes to outer circumstances in order to gain perspective or to avoid a decision. Refusing to act.”
A time to pay attention to our dreams and subconscious thoughts for possible answers that may very well require us to expend more energy than we expect we need to. So it is essential that we do all that we can to rest every aspect of our being from our physical bodies to our spirits to our minds, to our souls. Rest up and be well prepared for what the new day brings.
Sleep and meditation will work best. Relax with meditation, allowing yourself to find and go into your centre, your core where the innate knowledge and wisdom of the universe can be found. Let those first thoughts and impressions formulate and solidify so you can bring it with you as you slip back into the physical after spending time with all that "is".
Meditation will lead to a good night's sleep and informative dreams and subconscious thoughts--pay attention as more important messages and scenes will be revealed.
Thank You Spirit.

The '2 of Swords' and Some Serious Meditation
Monday, February 22, 2016. After bragging about sleeping well since I placed a piece of amethyst under my pillow I had a sleepless night. No particular reason I can pinpoint to this however I awoke many, many times throughout the night and then based on my best estimate I likely did not sleep for the last hour before the alarm the serenaded us.
Today's Gay Tarot Energy is the “2 of Swords: Meditation. Closing your eyes to outer circumstances in order to gain perspective or to avoid a decision. Refusing to act.”
Is this a rebuke because I have failed to act on the changes the universe has set out for me? Or is this a directive for me to go into a full meditation in order to make the best decision and then act accordingly? Meditation will more than likely clear up this confusion. In fact, I know it will!
I need to take some serious quiet time for myself and devote it to a goodly amount of meditation so I can really clear my mind and see with more clarity the future I must head for. For starters, I will close my eyes for 5 or ten minutes each evening and give myself over to the universal energy and silence that will take over and provide me with the clarity and direction I must head, the direction I am most likely seeking without consciously recognizing it.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The '2 of Swords' and Looking Inward in Order to Act and Move Forward
Monday, February 1, 2016. A bit of a sleepless night early on and then the alarm sounded in the middle of what was a positive and uplifting dream...can't remember any of it but I was enjoying the dreams I was having from the bits and pieces I can remember from each of them.
Today's Gay Tarot Energy is “2 of Swords: Meditation. Closing your eyes to outer circumstances in order to gain perspective or to avoid a decision. Refusing to act.”
Be considerate of why your eyes are closed. Is it truly to meditate and gain perspective or to avoid difficult decisions and avoid taking necessary action(s)?
Gaining perspective by looking within is a good way to direct your focus and energy so meditate and find your way forward and then open your eyes and make your move!
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

Nanaimo, Tofino, Victoria, and Other Stops Along the Way
Saturday, October 10, 2015. We've returned from a successful and enriching trip to Vancouver Island and back. We enjoyed our stays in Nanaimo, Tofino, and Victoria and even discovered a new friend along the way.
I tried to write as we travelled so I might repeat myself here and there but hopefully you enjoy reading about our little adventure...
We unpacked Serenity last night, she's our camper van, returned her to the storage lot, picked up the car and returned home, caught a bit of the news while we unpacked and organised ourselves before grabbing a bite at AandW.
As I sat and relaxed last night, organizing receipts from the trip and gathering my thoughts about the week that was...I realised that I missed being in the van, the camper van is indeed a place of Serenity, and is aptly named.
I slept. missing Serenity and awoke missing her even more. My cute little camper van, Miss Serenity is now a part of the fabric of my being and an integral part of my life.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today's Tarot Energy is the "Queen of Bows, Hare: A companion through life, sympathetic and understanding, leading you to a deeper awareness of what is needed to bring success to your every enterprise. Wise and witty, gentle and kindly, the Queen supports you and strengthens your resolve. Kindness and responsibility, An offering of peace and love, Helpfulness, courtesy, understanding, Enchantment, Success in business."
We have the support, guidance, and strength needed to help us identify and become aware of what we need to do and how we need to shape our lives in order to have success become part of the fabric of being. The "Queen of Bows" is our constant companion and we must strive to keep her top of mind this day so we can move forward with confidence and a quiet resolve to accomplish our innermost desires.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.
And now back to our trip...
We've been to Nanaimo before so on our first full day (Sunday, October 3rd) we took a quick hike along the trails around Living Forest before embarking on a trip into town (Nanaimo) via transit and walked along the harbour, enjoyed a coffee along the quay at "Javawocky Coffee House" and returned to our home away from home in the Living Forest Oceanside Campground around 5:30pm after a quick shopping trip to the Country Grocer and to Rona. Oh, we did discover a few new reads at the "Well Read Books" before catching the bus back home. I picked up, well actually Edith picked up "Communion" by Whitley Strieber and "Report on Communion" by Ed Conroy and my partner picked up "The Lost Symbol" by Dan Brown.
It's now Monday, October 5th and time to depart the picturesque Living Forest Campground and RV Park and make our way to Tofino and the Bella Pacifica Campground. Our first stop took us to Piper's Lagoon Park, Nanaimo, a lovely walk along a trail to the rock outcropping and lovely views of the harbour and the many fisherman's cabins on Shack Island. Our second stop took us to Beachcomber Regional Park, district of Nanaimo. This was my favourite of the day as a tree invited me in for a visit. I squeezed in through the narrow open doorway and enjoyed the living presence of this warm, welcoming, friendly, funny and engaging tree. More about this in the next couple of paragraphs.
Tuesday, October 6, 2015. Awoke around 7:30am after our third night in Serenity, She's everything I expected and more. Yes, the smaller confined space takes some getting used to but I wouldn't trade this experience for anything else. So far the only difficulty is showering in the cubbyhole of the bathroom as the shower curtain gets in the way of having a comfortable shower. I'm devising a solution in my head.
Other than that I have no other complaints. She is easy to drive and maneuver and is a cozy, comfortable place to relax and enjoy nature. It's been an enriching experience having a home wherever we go. As experienced during our beachcombing excursions yesterday. The trees, sand, shoreline, and sea/ocean were warm and welcoming. My physical body may have stopped walking at the water's edge but my spirit kept going. Yesterday my spirit soared to be with the sun, took root in the earth beneath my feet, and became a part of the sea. Then rising up to be in the clouds and take it all in. What an experience!
I like this rustic campground, Bella Pacfica as we're close to the beach, can hear the waves and our sided by only one neighbour, it's a nice cozy nook for our short stay. As I walked along the beach and let the energy of this amazing coastline fill me I made an amazing discover of a hidden spiritual gem of a place hollowed out the by the crashing waves over many years. I took many photographs of this beach and this spiritual oasis however photographs will be more secondary if I take any at all on future trips as I just want to experience these places more than be photograph taking hound.
Tofino is a small cute seaside village nestled in a geography that truly soothes and nourishes the soul. We walked the return trip of about 9 kilometres to and from the village along a bike and walking path that parallels the highway into Tofino.
Wednesday, October 7th, 2015. Two of Arrows: Injustice. We left Bella Pacifica Campground around 9:40am and arrived at West Bay Marina RV Park at 4:40pm. We stopped for gas and lunch in Port Alberni and then at Cathedral Grove so I could have a quick walk through and a quick moment with a few forest giants that are well over 300 years old. Ladysmith was a quick afternoon coffee break at McDonalds.
Friday, October 9th, 2015. Spirit, physical, spirit, loss or sorrow, distortion of the truth, love at first sight, and rest are the Tarot Energies and/or Tarot Essence of the week that was. The week that was our shakedown cruise, our maiden voyage in Serenity, of new home away from home, our place of serenity and security outside of the condo.
Being in Serenity for me is a very spiritual experience. Spirit is strong and a powerful and creative energy fills her space, every nook and cranny of it.
One worry about her that I have is that she might have a leak on the rear passenger side below the window. Oh and the black holding tank needs to be cleaned top to bottom from toilet all the way down. I've created a list of RV chores I'd like to get done before the next extended trip with her. One such chore or work of love is to clean her inside and out.
It'd be very nice if I could park her close to home so I could easily spend time with her and give her the time and attention she deserves unlike the lack of attention I paid to the other one. Such a shame!
Onto new and better things...
...such as my fascination with crows and how prevalent they are on this trip and how celebrated they appeared to be in Tofino!
I love crows or ravens, either or, both in equal measure...
I feel and know how blessed I am and how rich my life is and how much sacrifice the cosmos/the world has made for me so I can be where I am today...on a ferry with a loving partner after our six day adventure on Vancouver Island in Nanaimo, Tofino, and Victoria. And making an new friend along the way. Thank You Spirit!
Also, among meeting a new friend I met a couple of new books "Communion" and a book about the book "Communion", the name of which escapes me (here it is: "Report on Communion. The Facts Behind the Most Controversial True Story of Our Time"). I've rediscovered the joy of reading as well as of doing crossword puzzles.
Also, I really desire to sit and spend time in Serenity working the Tarot. Serenity feels like a great place, a great space to be spiritual and do spiritual works, Tarot being one of many. Writing is another avenue I wish to explore. Tarot, writing, candles, incense, the Sun, the Moon, crows, and magic...
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

2 of Swords and the 8 of Wands
Saturday, March 21st, 2015. Sleep was upon us soon as we crawled into bed. I had a decent enough sleep and awoke with a clear and unencumbered mind.
I quickly got into rhythm with Spirit and Tarot and today's Tarot is the “2 of Swords: Meditation. Closing your eyes to outer circumstances in order to gain perspective or to avoid a decision. Refusing to act” with further guidance coming from the “8 of Wands: Movement. Everything is falling into place. People or circumstances are aligning to facilitate the achievement of your goals. Matters are rapidly reaching a conclusion. A group combines their energies while maintaining individuality.”
To create real and meaningful movement in our lives we must close our eyes and truly get in touch with Spirit through deep meditation and the opening of our eyes and spirit so we connect with our deeper selves and learn how we can best create that forward momentum we desire in our lives. We must be active participants in our lives in order to fully live them. Deep meditation keeps us closely in touch with Spirit, with Gaia, with all that is, was, and ever will be. We need to be engaged.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

X The Wheel of Life and the 2 of Swords.
Tuesday, March 17th, 2015. Happy Saint Patrick's Day!
Other than that, I'm at a loss for words and maybe this is a good thing.
Last night was another typical quiet evening at home. No gym, just plain and simple relaxation, relaxation that I missed on the weekend, as enjoyable as it was.
Today's visiting Tarot is “X The Wheel of Life: If life on the rim makes you dizzy, move to the centre. Awareness of the cycles of life. Equanimity. A change in fortunes. Guidance from your future or past self” with a small piece of advice coming from the 2 of Swords: Meditation. Closing your eyes to outer circumstances in order to gain perspective or to avoid a decision. Refusing to act."
We are not prisoners of fate nor do we have to accept destiny for what it is. Our very act of living life can affect change in our futures. Accept this responsibility and affect change in your life. Be a participant with fate and create the destiny you wish to have.
A great quote I read in the "Surrey Coffee News", Volume 4:48A reads:
"I wish I could stand on a busy corner, hat in hand and beg people to throw me all of their wasted time." -- Bernard Berenson
Don't waste any more time wishfully thinking about a better future, a different destiny, or a way to overcome fate. Get up onto your feet and do something about. Be an active participant your life and make it happen. Otherwise, life will pass you by and you'll be looking at the reflection of an old person that you'll soon discover to be yourself, left wondering how life passed you by.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The Man of Coins with Opposition from the 2 of Swords
Monday, February 9th, 2015. We successfully completed our errands yesterday and enjoyed an evening out too!
We ran our errands in the morning including picking up the elusive foam insulation and then we spent the rest of the day doing our own thing. As a result I made significant progress on my model railroad.
Then we headed out to the movies and dinner. We watched the Oscar 2015 nominated Live Action Shorts, all of which were foreign made. Cool! They are being played at the Vancity Theatre. After the movies we made our way to White Spot for dinner. I received a gift card for this restaurant from work as a Christmas bonus. Dinner was good and back home we came.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot Card is the “Man of Coins: Responsible and hard-working. Reliable. Dependable" with opposition coming from the “2 of Swords: Meditation. Closing your eyes to outer circumstances in order to gain perspective or to avoid a decision. Refusing to act.”
Decisions have to made in life as difficult as they may sometimes be and the best way to make decisions although it's always possible to do so is after weighing the pros and cons of each alternative and making a decision based on the facts at hand and after much thought has gone into the decision-making process.
To better function in life as well as to make valuable contributions to the world we all must all pitch in with dependability, reliability, and hard work. This comes with much responsibility, responsibility that we must accept and move forward with.
Let's make those tough decisions and move on with life. It's difficult but it must be done in order for us to grow, evolve and move into the future.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The 8 of Cups with Hints from the 2 of Swords
Saturday, February 7th, 2015. 6:50am. A new day, what will we decide to make of it. Another quiet evening at home last night enjoying the peace and comfort of home and the company of each other before turning into be to recharge for the coming day.
Today's visiting Tarot Card is in my opinion continuing the theme of having the ability to create our own futures with the guiding, loving, and encouraging energy of the universe. The future of our dreams lies ahead of us and each of us needs to grasp hold of that future and shape it, mold it into the future of our desires. There is an energy of rebirth and renewal about us. The chance to use the wisdom gleaned from sometimes painful lessons learned to harness the strength gained from surviving past mistakes to carry ourselves into the future waiting ahead for us.
Today's visiting Tarot Card is the “8 of Cups: Farewell. Moving on. Leaving behind a person, a situation, or a part of yourself" with further hints coming from the “2 of Swords: Meditation. Closing your eyes to outer circumstances in order to gain perspective or to avoid a decision. Refusing to act.”
We must act and take control, leaving our pasts behind us so we can embrace the future. The path may be difficult but this is where our past can help us. We learned through perseverance and harnessing the strength we never knew we had to survive. This gave us courage and faith built on experience to believe in ourselves and dare to dream. Embrace our dreams and chase after them is what we must do.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The 2 of Swords with Guidance from VIII Justice
Saturday, January 10th, 2015. Had another quiet evening at home. Simply sat and relaxed doing a whole lot of nothing. Tossed around ideas for my model railroad layout as well as the new website I'll be launching very soon. I'm doing my best to focus my energies on a couple of different things instead of fracturing my energies by trying to partake in my many and varied interests.
So for now Wizard Oron and my very N-Scale Model Railroad Empire will be my two main focal points moving forward. A new career and a long loved hobby. Oh, and I'm going to learn Spanish this year too! I'm going to try and tie-in learning Spanish through my study of Tarot and the building o my model railroad empire. A good way to entice myself to learn a second language.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot Card is the “2 of Swords: Meditation. Closing your eyes to outer circumstances in order to gain perspective or to avoid a decision. Refusing to act" with further guidance provided by “VIII Justice: Even today, gays can be the victims of “justice”. An unfair judgment. Being too judgemental or righteous. Feeling restricted by others’ expectations.”
Choices, partnerships, contemplation...we need to focus our energies on making a choice, choosing between options, weighing the pros and cons of each choice and making that fateful decision. This is best done by focusing on the choice and relevant information that can best guide us to making the most educated decision based on what lies before us. Let's close our eyes to the outside noise and those who want to help or simply make the choice for us for we alone must make this choice and be accountable and responsible for the decision. The time for fence sitting has come to an end. Make a leap faith, if you will for our faith should be based on experience more than anything else.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

An Intentional Act
Saturday, December 13th, 2014. I intentionally skipped writing and blogging yesterday as I was mentally, physically, spiritually, and energetically exhausted from my week at the “job” I needed to simply come home and do nothing so this is what I did and did it ever feel good to just sit and let the exhaustion melt away.
I’m experiencing firsthand the revolving issues at the company I work at. A cycle repeats itself there every so often and it’s happening now. An unsatisfied employee resigned from his position as I mentioned before and the task of taking up his role has fallen onto my shoulders. Not so bad if I applied for and wanted to take on such a role. However, I supposed to be focused on customer service and operational issues, not on becoming and being a tech. I’ve learned from a variety of sources that this same cycle has happened to the previous people in my position. They’ve all left the company angry and unsatisfied. Will the same happen to me?
I’m trying to make the best of it and take it one day at a time. I’ll learn what I can as I do have some technical aptitude to draw upon and will do my best to fill the role as temporary or fulltime as it may be. The employers are actively searching for a new tech to fill the shoes of the old one. He is a huge loss for the company a she understood the all of the equipment inside and out and could accurately diagnose a problem from the briefest of descriptions about the issue.
Thank You Spirit.
So I rested for almost two hours and then got on to making dinner and getting on with the rest of the evening where I sat and played around with my model railroad and read some related magazines. It was a great and satisfying evening. Just what I needed.
And now this morning after a restful sleep I’ll be off to the gym after finishing this pleasurable activity of Tarot and writing.
Thank You Spirit.
Yesterday’s visiting Tarot Card is “VI The Lovers: A relationship is always a mingling of differences. A powerful relationship. Seeing both sides of an issue. Flexibility” with clarification from the “2 of Swords: Meditation. Closing your eyes to outer circumstances in order to gain perspective or to avoid a decision. Refusing to act.”
I have strong and healthy relationship that has really blossomed over the past year through my better understanding of it, me, as well as my willingness to be open-minded and to make compromises.
Today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Ace of Wands: A creative inspiration. The beginning of a project or venture” with support from the “Guide of Coins: Seeing the magic in the mundane. Spiritual fulfillment from nature. Finding joy in the ordinary.”
My focus must be on my desired career and allowing it to grow and blossom as I have a great appreciation for and a desire to live a very ordinary and mundane life where I can really seek out and find satisfaction in being closer to nature. Summer 2015...hhhmm. This will allow me to be more of a guide to others in changing their own lives through their own strengths and actions.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The Ace of Cups and 2 of Swords
November 8, 2014. I’m learning more about the operations and customer service side of my new role in operations at the workplace. My role became more defined this week which has allowed me to come to an understanding of my role in the company and how I can try to move forward in this position. It requires a high degree of flexibility as well as strong shoulders in order to withstand some of the garbage that is likely to be thrown my way in the coming days and months.
We spent a quiet Friday evening at home as we most often do and had more chat time and a bit of TV time, watching our local mayoral debate on the local cable channel. It was more energetic and lively than we were expecting.
I slept well and awoke early as I expected.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Ace of Cups: A gift of love. The beginning of a love affair, friendship, or partnership.” And in a supporting role is the “2 of Swords: Meditation. Closing your eyes to outer circumstances in order to gain perspective or to avoid a decision. Refusing to act.”
Decisions have to made and some decisions are harder to make because of the enormous impact they have on our lives and sometimes more importantly in the lives of those we love and care about. But decisions have to be made. With the “Ace of Cups”, I see that any decision should be made with love in mind and this could also be an indicator that the decision could be influenced by, if this is the right word, a new person entering our lives. Not that we want others to be making our decisions for us however this person may bring more clarity into our lives that will allow us to make a more informed decision.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The 2 of Swords and Aceepting Our Emotions and Feelings
Sunday, May 18th, 2014. We had a great day yesterday. We met up with a friend and headed over to south Surrey so I could pick up a couple of things before we made it to our real destination White Rock. We were expecting a cloudy and showery day but as we strolled along the seaside promenade the clouds gave way to sunshine. We people and train watched as railway line runs along the waterfront creating a unique controversial feature for the city. I loved it as the two freights rumbled by at different times.
We hit “Charlie don’t Surf” giving the restaurant another chance. During a previous visit to this place with another friend we left because after we were seated at our table server after server ignored us even though they were serving another table in the same room. Surprisingly, they made it up to us redeeming themselves with great service and great food. So, we’ll definitely think about visiting this establishment again the next time we find ourselves in the picturesque city of White Rock.
Last night before crawling into bed I happened to glance at another Tarot book to read about “II The High Priestess” and the key phrase that stood out for me was “…this card points to a lack of inner knowledge and problems arising from a failure to follow paths one knows intuitively to be right. In some circumstances, this may lead to unfulfilled potential or suppressed emotions.” Tarot, Harper Collins, Glasgow, 2005, page 87.
This really struck me as being totally where I stand today. My intuition is strongly pointing me in a certain direction and has been for years but I’m ignoring this message, this inner knowing and in fact turning away from knowing what I need to do in my life in order feel a sense of purpose and accomplishment.
Also, as I read and thought about this images came to mind of how I can earn an income while on the road and this tied into a short news piece that covered a local rodeo and then comments from the news anchor, weather person, and sportscaster about rodeos, fairs, and other little community events and celebrations. I also had several dreams about attending fairs as a vendor.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card, again from the Rider Deck, is the “2 of Swords”. The “2 of Swords” reminds to pay more attention to my emotions and feelings whereby I acknowledge and accept them for what they are. Denial is unhealthy and unproductive. Additionally, I must be more open, opening myself up to my partner what my relationship has to offer me as well as what I truly have to offer it. I must remove any and all barriers in my life in order to flourish in life. I have much to offer but first I must accept my feeling, emotions, and also trust my intuition.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

Sage of Coins, Man of Cups, and 2 of Swords
Sunday, April 13, 2014. Yesterday turned out to be quite the fine day. We relaxed through the morning and then head out and enjoyed the sights, sounds and atmosphere of Steveston. We walked about the quaint village before enjoying a coffee and snack at a local coffee bar, Rocanini Coffee Roasters Cafe. We then headed home via a quick stop or two to run an errand and complete our weekly grocery run. The evening was relaxing…
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Sage of Coins: Working with resources rather than trying to control them. A mature appreciation of the natural world. Patience.”
Using resources rather than trying to control them and this is what I’ve just learned how to do. Use what I have the best way possible and life is runs a little smoother and naturally. I use the talents I have as well as the inspiration of others to achieve success and do the best job possible. This even applies to my desire to RV—use the RV I already have. Invest the time and money necessary to get her back into shape and she’ll one finely tuned RV that will have me criss-crossing this fine continent for many years.
The “Sage of Coins” is influenced by the “Man of Cups: An emotional adventurer. Tendency to want to emotionally rescue others. Drawn to emotional crises.”
I need to guard myself from trying to get to emotionally involved in other people’s live and/or their relationships and need to instead focus on my own and how I’m influencing the relationship I’m in. Also, emotions have no place in managing resources and trying to achieve and enjoy the successes that life has to offer. Emotions can colour our view of the world and distort reality in ways that can be more harmful than good so we must check our emotions “at the door” on occasion so we are things in black in white where we can evaluate them more objectively.
Today things that may arise are influenced by the “2 of Swords: Meditation. Closing your eyes to outer circumstances in order to gain perspective or to avoid a decision. Refusing to act.”
Meditation is good and does serve a purpose however we must also decisions as hard as they may sometimes be. Action is required in life if we expect to live a purposeful and fruitful life. Living life requires action especially if we have desires, dreams, and goals that we want to have and/or experience. Life cannot be lived in a reactionary way. We need to be active and actively participate in life if we want to get something out of it, if you will. Life’s purpose is much easier to realize, understand and achieve when we are active participants in living our lives and merely reacting to it.

The 2 of Swords and Taking Our Blindfolds Off
Friday, April 4th, 2014. Sleeping over the past few nights has been kind of odd. I’m sleeping but awake at the same time, not through the entire night but portions of it. I’m aware that I’m sleeping without being anywhere near awake yet at the same time sleeping but not really. Does this even make any sense? Last night was like this. I felt awake but never moved a muscle or opened my eyes, simply slept with a bit of consciousness thrown in there. But I was not awake enough to go through my spiritual ritual that I sometimes do when I’m almost fully awake at the odd time through the night. I still manage to awake and get on with my day so I’ll accept it as it is…
…thank you Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “2 of Swords: Meditation. Closing your eyes to outer circumstances in order to gain perspective or to avoid a decision. Refusing to act.”
Am I avoiding a difficult situation or reality? Am I avoiding emotional intimacy? Am I putting up defensive barriers to avoid getting close or to avoid getting hurt? Or do I seriously need to meditate and seek some inner wisdom and divine guidance?
I think it’s all of these. I’ve been sailing through the last couple of maybe last three years with blinders on—focused so intently on what I want and not doing anything to help myself achieve anything while at the same time allowing things to slide in my personal, family, and work life. This pattern has been doing me more harm than good and I’m thankful I’ve seen the light, so-to-speak. Thank goodness for some gentle persuasion from Spirit.
I’m more focused on my personal, family, and work life while at the same time still aiming for my goal but doing so without sacrificing these other important areas of my life. My goal is real and quite achievable. I did err slightly during my brief period of unemployment (two weeks) but things will work out in the end anyway. Have to trust my intuition or gut instinct more…
…I think I need to spend more time in and with nature. Something is telling me to get out and experience the outdoors a lot more than I have in the past…an RV will be a good way to do this…hhhmmm. I’m going to make a phone call this coming week to find out some information and see what I can make happen regarding the mechanical needs of my RV. I’ll see what the weekends look like in terms of having a diagnostic completed on the RV. An outfit called “Wrench Patrol” will come to you. There’s a location in Burnaby that I called in between jobs but did not follow through with as I was intent on finding a job and not serious enough about having my RV looked at.
So, yes, the “2 of Swords” is about barriers and blindness to the facts and realities of our lives and we need to address difficult circumstances in order to heal and improve our lives and our connection with the cosmos. Meditation is a good place to start but not a place to run to and hide in order to avoid the reality that exists outside our doors and beyond our walls whether inside or outside our homes.
Ask for help, there are many avenues to explore in terms of finding what we need in order to open our eyes, hearts, minds, and spirit to areas of our life where difficulties and that we have chosen to avoid for one reason or another. Spirit is a good place to start…
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

Blessed Be.

The 2 of Swords and Balance and Perspective
Thursday, January 23, 2014. Awoke a little bit but still dozing 10 or fifteen minutes before the alarm sounded and the new day’s activities got under way. The usual daily routine of getting things going for breakfast, cleaning up and laying out clothes for the day and most importantly spending time with Spirit and Tarot was then followed by getting ready for work and heading out the door. I can never have enough time with Spirit and Tarot. This is such an important part of me that I’d like to do as my full-time job but only if I could accept earning a living from it, I do just that. But perhaps the mere pursuit of full time Spirit and Tarot activities could lead to a source of money coming in from where I’d least expect it.
Hhhhmmmm…
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “2 of Swords: Meditation. Closing your eyes to outer circumstances in order to gain perspective or to avoid a decision. Refusing to act.”
This for me is about balance, balance and perspective. Contemplation, though, and reasoning are all good but only if they lead one to a decision, a choice, or a way to act. Decisions do have consequences but so does not making one and either can be good or bad. I was waffling about a decision but when I awoke I made up my mind and acted. Anxiety and worry disappeared and I felt better about the outlook of my day. The day was ho-hum but hey that is what happens sometimes. Tomorrow is another day and each and every day I try to learn and adjust.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The 2 of Swords and Wiccan Graces
Another fairly quiet day yesterday, nothing hectic, quite relaxing overall. I visited my RV again so I could add a few things to make her feel more homey and welcoming. I also discovered a little bit of a water leak in an area I thought was sealed up pretty good, I applied more exterior sealant to see if does the job. But other than that I’m really liking the overall feel and energy of my RV. Then we had dinner with my brother and his friend at Baci Ristorante in North Burnaby, a very nice venue with great food and service.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “2 of Swords: Meditation. Closing your eyes to outer circumstances in order to gain perspective or to avoid a decision. Refusing to act".
Since I’ve had a feeling that I’ve somewhat been avoiding “life” for the past year I’ve been working at or working on 10 "Wiccan Graces" that I feel I need to strengthen in my life, nine of them came from “The Circle Within” by Diane Sylvan, a book I purchased in Portland (Powell's Books) and one from myself. They are love, compassion, forgiveness, humour, gratitude, integrity, wisdom, joy, growth, and my own, Being, simply being.
I know where I want my life to be but it is just getting there that is holding me up. I kind of developed this great chasm between where I am now and where I want to be and am not sure how to work around it or get rid of it once and for all—refusing to act…but I’ll get there…
Thank You Spirit.

2 of Swords and Making Decisions
Two days off and I’m happy to have them. I thoroughly enjoy my work with Elections BC however having days off never hurts either. Yesterday was a relatively quiet day and the office was warm for a change, almost too hot if you can believe it. Then the evening was spent with a one of our friends, we invited over for dinner as we always seem to have more food than the two of us can eat and it never hurts spending time with friends. Then the evening was over, he went home, we cleaned up, relaxed a bit then went to bed.
I awoke this morning before 6:00am. I was looking forward to sleeping in and awaking after 7am but I guess that was not in the cards. I tried to drift back into dreamland but I just tossed and turned so I dragged myself out of bed after twenty minutes of doing that. Another beautiful day greets me and I’m glad to be awake and have some alone time. I had time with my thoughts and reflected on one that I had yesterday where in the middle of something I was doing at work I blurted out “I want to live in my RV”. Knowing that this is something that I want to do I realized, that I can do it any time I want really. Not a lot is stopping other than me making the decision to actually do it.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “2 of Swords: Meditation. Closing your eyes to outer circumstances in order to gain perspective or to avoid a decision. Refusing to act".
And lo and behold this card is totally representative of my waffling and refusal to make a decision about where I want my life to go. I cannot do anything proper or well if I sit on the fence and waffle about the decision. I’ve more or less being doing this for the past seven years. I think it is high time I made a decision and move on one way or another. Then I might be able to make something of my life, whatever the decision is that I make.
And I do want to live in my RV.
Thank you Spirit.
Blessed Be.

2 of Swords - Get the Message
Had a decent night’s sleep and am ready for this day. Yesterday’s rains left a sweet divine fragrance in the air. Lovely, just lovely. The air so fresh and sweet smelling.
I’ve really immersed myself into the world of Paganism, Wicca, and Witchcraft and I’m loving every minute of it. I’m a sponge soaking up every bit of information I can so I can have a true appreciate for and a great understanding of these intermingled paths. Almost every day I interact with the Goddess and God, lighting candles and incense, giving reverence to the Moon, enjoying and interacting with the plants within my home, enjoying the fresh air during an afternoon walk.
Thank You Spirit.
Today’s visiting Tarot Card is a repeat visitor from Monday, the “2 of Swords: Meditation. Closing your eyes to outer circumstances in order to gain perspective or to avoid a decision. Refusing to act". I do believe that I need to sit down, meditate and make a decision on an important matter in my life. Meditation is necessary so I can pinpoint what it is I must act on as I feel that I’m missing something here. I certainly hope I’m not avoiding something of importance.
Off to meditate and reflect.
Thank You Spirit
Thanks for being here.
Merry Meet and Merry Part, and Merry Meet again
