The "7 of Coins" and Planning Your Next Move

Blessed Samhain.  Happy Halloween.

Awaking earlier than the alarm these days even on the weekends and on the weekends I don't mind at all but on the weekdays I just want to sleep through the entire day.  Having said that though I know full well that I need to be actively engaged during the day reaching out to Spirit, reaching out to others, increasing my skills and knowledge and stepping further into my Wizard Oron shoes.

Spirit Is and today's Tarot Energy is the “7 of Coins: Chores.  Resting after a job well done.  Contemplating life's cycles and changes.  Planning your next move.  Clearing out what's unnecessary in your life to make way for something new.”

What's grabbing your attention as you look at and converse with the “7 of Coins"?  Where do your thoughts go as this energy meets your?  Immerse yourself into the card, become part of the scene.  What do you see.  What/How do you feel?

For me the “7 of Coins" is all about planning my next move.  More like re-planning my next move as I feel like I've been planning my next move for the past thirty years?  I need to stop spinning my wheels and if I'm continuously spinning them I should drop them to the ground so I can start moving.

Ha!  There's my next move, putting my wheels to the ground and getting a move on.  Got things I need to do.  A whole lot of paying it forward to do is more like it.  I've got to repay all of the chances I've been given, wasted or fulfilled, either way, I need to give back for receiving this precious gift of life I've been given.

The 'King of Stones, Wolf' and Receiving Knowledge and Wisdom from Nature

Saturday, October 31st, 2015.  'Blessed Samhain'.  Happy Halloween.

It's so nice to awake and not have to rush out anywhere.  Weekends are such a privilege and a blessing.  I enjoy my job however as I've said many time before I would much rather just pursue spiritual endeavors and somehow, otherwise earn my keep.

Awaking in the morning and devoting as much time to Spirit and Tarot as I want fills me with an abundance of love and creates a deep and intimate connection with the world.  I really cannot say more than this because it's an experience that must be experienced in order to be understood and appreciated.  Besides, trying to describe it and finding the appropriate words in my opinion diminishes the experience and realistically speaking cannot even come close to describing what one feels when he or she finds and holds onto their relationship with Spirit.

Spirit Is and today's Tarot Energy is "King of Stones, Wolf: Love of the land and of the natural world guides much of what you do.  You look often to the wisdom of others and to traditional values to colour your life choices.  Security brings pleasure; loyalty crowns every endeavour.  Trading, speculation, Mathematical ability, Loyalty and conservation, Steadfastness,  Robust health, Determination."

It's a dark, rainy morning and where would I like to be?  In my van.  In my van listening to the rain hit the roof as I revel in Spirit and the coziness that my van can offer in such weather as this.

My van, Serenity creates the ability to be like a 'wolf' as she offers a place of comfort, security, and serenity as I go out to explore and experience nature and being able to do so almost regardless of the type of weather we're having in southwestern British Columbia.

Nature is one of my best teachers followed by the wisdom of others and then the analysis of traditional values and how one or more may fit in or help shape my way of thinking and outlook on life.  Being amongst soaring trees, or in the presence of and hiking through mountainous terrain or simply hearing the waves of the mighty ocean or the rushing waters of a river or creek can teach us so much if we only dare to listen and to experience.  Then as we converse with others and get know them and their view of the world can offer us new ways of thinking and the ability to see the world through another person's eyes if we open ourselves to the experience that is.  And finally traditional values can glean much wisdom and offer sage advice if we transcend our often judgemental ways when it comes to traditional values.

Be open to learning and educational opportunities as well as new ways of thinking or of experiencing life and our interaction with others or even ourselves.

The 'Seven of Stones, Healing' and Freeing Ourselves From Guilt and Doubt

Thursday, October 29th, 2015.  I missed the Full Moon on Tuesday.  Last week I had plans to celebrate in ritual but with the way my work week started and being a bachelor seems to have scrambled my brain a little.  However, with Samhain being on Saturday I know without a doubt I'll be celebrating this the Witch's New Year in a humble ritual honoring all life that has come and gone as those who have parted this life and gone on to a new one.

Spirit Is and today's Tarot Energy is the "Seven of Stones, Healing: One of the deepest stages of healing and recovery after any emotional trauma or physical injury is forgiveness.  If the healing is from a relationship issue, we often hold onto the pain, mistakenly believing that it keeps us  close to the source of that pain.  Sometimes, we hang onto  a sense of loss, loneliness, and betrayal associated with the failure of the relationship.  Regret can also be associated with these feelings as one questions one's own motives and actions.  Yet, if you have acted with integrity and sincerity, there is no need for regret; it is a waste of energy and healing focus.  If regret is present, more work may be required to understand its underlying causes.  One of the elements inherent in bringing healing and closure to any situation is acceptance along with self-forgiveness.  We are neither perfect or omnipotent and, therefore, we make mistakes.  The acceptance of these simple truths can bring healing to the suffering soul."

We need to accept our humanity, our weaknesses, doubts, fears, and feelings of guilt and put it all to rest through the "healing focus" of the "Seven of Stones".  Acceptance and forgiveness provide us with great healing and set on a path of new hope, opportunity and beginnings.  Let's all get past the ruts we keep ourselves in by focusing on things that are best let go off and put behind us.  For where we put our energy is where our lives will go.  If we want and expect our lives to change, improve and go the way want them to then we must focus on the hope and optimism of living a better life.

I have nothing to feel guilty about and I have nothing to regret.  I've lived my life and I accept that my decisions in the past have played a role in bringing to where I find myself today. As the last two days have indicated my life is in a period of transition and change and the "Seven of Stones, Healing" is a part of this process.

Blessed Samhain and the Youth of Wands

Blessed Samhain!  Happy Halloween!

What a blessed day this is.  Have no fear of the Spirits that will abound this day.  Greet each and every one of them with a smile and a blessing of love, joy, and goodwill.

I will have candles and incense burning all day as I celebrate this, the witch’s New Year.  The god is passing over only to be reborn at Yule.  Blessed Be.

Yesterday as I worked with Spirit throughout the day I came away filled with the knowledge that Spirit is using me to deliver messages of peace and unconditional love to everyone and all things I encounter, words may not be exchanged, it could merely be a look, a smile, a simple nod of the head.  Thank You Spirit!

Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Youth of Wands: Focusing attention on something.  Reaching for a goal from a possibly unsteady foundation.”

Yes, I am doing this.  I’m focusing attention on a possible new job, a new direction, well, only a slight detour, perhaps.  A change of focus so I can actually firm up that foundation and provide myself with a steady place from which to pursue my dreams and goals.  Dreams and goals that I’ve boiled down to one single item and that is that I simply want to drive my RV around North America with no destination in mind, no plan, or agenda, just simply drive where Spirit wishes me to go.  The plan us under way in many aspects, things are firming up and solidifying and I am filled with a inner love, peace and calm, deeper than I’ve ever experienced before.

The Ace of Wands and Unleashing My Creative Potential

Over the last several days I’ve felt like I’m being pulled in many different directions.  I feel like I’m simply going around in circles and not fulfilling my life’s purpose.  Getting a job is something that appears to be the right thing to do but I’m also sensing it to be a barrier of sorts, a wall that is blocking something in my life but I’m sure what it’s about.  I’m spinning my wheels and not getting much traction in my life these last few days.  I get a sense I’m heading in the wrong direction and something is telling to turn around.

Spirit is strong these days and as I look back over this past week I’m seeing a picture developing.  Over this past week I’ve come across several “psychic” businesses, a newspaper called “The Source, Forum of Diversity” with a front page article on Wicca and the celebration of Samhain, and I’ve been seeing images of Tarot Cards everywhere.  Then there is today’s visiting Tarot Card.

Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Ace of Wands: A creative inspiration.  The beginning of a new project or venture.”

A card of creativity, a card of confident and potent energy asking me to be daring and brave, to take a risk, to be a source of inspiration and invention, to think outside the box and to trust my own creative potential.  This card is telling me what I already know—I need to focus on and develop my spirituality and creativity and unleash my inner creativity spirit.  Today is a day I need to open all of my senses so I can just how I will accomplish this and be my own source of financial income.

A Good Time and The Parade

These are the headlines from the two cards that revealed themselves to me over the weekend.  Interesting side note is that I consciously made myself aware of my mood as I worked with the Tarot and instead of feeling as if working with the card was a chore I turned it instead into a happy experience and these are the cards that came as a result:

Saturday, October 30th - "3 of Cups.  A good time.  Happy, comfortable times, together.  Quiet enjoyment.  Celebration."

Sunday, October 31st - "6 of Wands - The Parade.  Appreciation for those who stand up for themselves.  The courage of one's convictions.  Admiration, acclaim, pride."
