One Tin Soldier (Rides Again) and Put Your Hand in the Hand

Saturday, September 26th, 2015.  We headed out last night, going downtown to meet up with a friend and then have a late dinner.  The evening was enjoyable, we arrive home late but satisfied with the pleasantness of the night out we had.  We slipped into bed pretty much as soon as we walked through the door and as quickly as we could shed our clothes.  It was only an hour or so later than our usual bedtime but we were both sleepy and tired.

Yesterday as I was heading back to the office I had the radio on and soon a song was playing and my heart soul began to cry as the music and lyrics filled me with sadness as I reflected on the words and music that seeped to the very core of my being.  Then I thought "What are we doing with this world live and the people that we share it with?"

As I listened to this music that filled my spirit with the loving presence and guidance of Spirit I came across this song: Put Your Hand in the Hand

Then as I lost myself this morning in a flickering candle flame and the rising sweet scent of 'Moon" incense I laid my card of the day spread...

...and the "Four of Arrows, Rest: In this stressful and demanding world, we sometimes forget that rest is a necessary part of a healthy lifestyle and sleep a vital part of recuperation and the healing process.  This primal mechanism is not just for the well-being of the body but the mind and imagination as well.  Muscles need time to repair and rebuild after strenuous exertion, and the functions of the human psyche need dreams and sleep to aid the process, bringing order to what sometimes seems chaos and random machinations of daily life.  Sometimes, inspiration and insight can also come through restful meditation and lucid dreaming.  Welcome these insights joyfully and take note of what your subconscious is saying to you.  One of the first human instincts when confronted with a survival situation in any wild environment is to find or build a shelter to provide protection from the elements and act as a safe place to rest and sleep in safety.  Without that basic human security requirement, survivors often become disoriented, make poor decisions and become unable to physically complete simple and necessary tasks, eventually losing hope. This phrase weighs heavily on me today "each act of selfless protection and mercy for those in need revitalizes the spiritual warrior with a sense of peace and divinity rarely found in common practice" so much so that I want to do all that I can to help others feel a sense of peace and love in their lives, that the less fortunate can know that someone actually does care for them.  The "King of Bows, Adder" encourages me to take action as I have the "maturity, strength of resolve, energy and wisdom" to not only do so but to do so knowing that I'll always land on my feet and that not only can I rest and recuperate but that those who find solace in knowing that someone cares will also be able to do the same as the energy of "Four of Arrows, Rest" washes over them and provides them with "a safe place to rest and sleep in safety."

This Card of the Day Spread encourages me and should encourage you to reach out and help someone in need and this could be the smallest and easiest act of kindness...a simple smile and an acknowledgement that they exist and are indeed a person that matters.

The 'King of Bows, Adder' and Standing Out in the Crowd

Friday, September 4th, 2015.  Another day I awoke early but only after a good night's sleep and some interesting dreams.  I dreamt that I was sleeping with my dog (by the way I do not have a dog) and oddly I was using my dog sort of as a pillow.  I think he or he is of a larger bread,, maybe a golden lab.  And then the dream turned into me having to meet up with my family, my sister in particular and they were out of the house before I was even out of bed.  I was left wondering if they'd even wait up for me.

The dream with my dog came back just before I awoke a final time and tossing and turning about a half hour before the alarm serenaded us.  This dream surprised me as I was surprised that I was using my do, the dog I don't have as a pillow.  Then I got to thinking about how often I gave him a bath.  Then just mere moments before the alarm I was asleep again...and drat there goes the alarm...time to get up...

The word 'individuality' stands out for me today and as I tweeted moments ago, we must not be afraid to stand out in the crowd nor be afraid to be a lone voice for our inner genius and intuition will lead us to where we need to go as well as assist us in convincing others to lend us their support.  Stand up and be an individual and find our own path.  Stand up, create and guide the energy needed to mark and take us on the direct path where we realize our goals.

The 'King of Bows, Adder' and Letting Your Passions Rise Naturally to the Top

Thursday, September 3rd, 2015.  I had a nice cup of 'Sleepytime' Tea last night and slept soundly until around 5:00am then tossed and turned until the alarm sounded once again at 6:00am.  Surprisingly though, I left my phone out in the livingroom yet we still heard it.  Perhaps, it's only because we were both not sleeping when it went off.

For some reason at work I've taken on a role of responsibility and to some degree being decision maker and leader of certain aspects of the company.  OF course, the owners have the final say but even they at times come to me for information, guidance and taking the lead in making a decision or two.

On a personal level I've discovered how I can steer away from distractions and lead the way in terms of how I live my life and last night in particular the last thoughts I had before falling asleep and the dreams I remember encompassed me living life from the comfort of my van, Serenity.  At one point I gasped in surprise as I even dreamed about working on my model railroad in the van.  There's not a lot of space in her but in my dream I was sure making the space work for me.  Very cool!

When we allow ourselves to simply 'be' and our passions to naturally rise to the surface we create the energy and open ourselves up to the wisdom needed for us find the direct path that takes us to where we want and need to go.

For instance, I'm allowing my passions to find their natural home in my life and as a result I'm experiencing more energy and movement toward a life of spirit and of travel on the wondrous roads of North America.

'King of Bows, Adder' and Goals Realized

Thursday, August 6th, 2015.  I had another good night's sleep and although I awoke around I still fell back soundly to sleep until the alarm sounded at 6:00am.  It's a very natural sounding alarm though, waves, water, and a bit of soothing music and very nice to wake up to.
Then it's off to the job, not a bad job mind you and I did get another raise and it's not really all that bad just not a long term fit for me.  I need to transition into a more fulltime spiritual and fulfilling role in life.  That's all!

I'm responsible and accountable for my life and I'm actively participating in and directing where I want my life to go.  I'm patient and know that my dreams, goals, desires, and passions are realized.  I sense it, feel it and am living it, the life of my dreams.

I'm serious about hitting the road as Wizard Oron, the travelling wizard, a spiritual nomad traversing roads, highways, and bi-ways of North America, to assist the spiritual revolution that is unfolding in our midst and inspiring people like YOU to BE more than you believe you can be.
