Friday, September 30, 2016. Let's see. Where to begin? Sleep was feeling as long as it has been for the last week or so and much longer than the six or seven hours that I'm in bed for. Really seem odd to me but that's how I feel when I awake. This morning though I awoke feeling sleepy still, maybe even tired and I'm blaming this on the dreams I had...my partner in the two dreams I had just before awaking...and I knew that I was dreaming and the dreams changed once I focused on them...things are not always as they seem.
Spirit Is and today's Tarot Energy is the "Four of Vessels: The universe responds favourably to a decisive, forward momentum while boredom leaves a person in a state of inaction. There are many reasons for feeling disenchanted or trapped in life. The causes of the malaise and the feeling of being weathered by routine or beaten down by conflict are common, but in the end it is from ourselves that the first sparks of momentum must emanate. Emotionally frozen or discouraged people become 'black holes' of despair, into which all light and positive energy fall, and fail to return. My days at the job are too much routine and same old, same old for me. My weekends are exciting and full of exciting activity because I spend more active time with Spirit, Tarot, my model railroad and last but not least my partner. I'm more engaged in life, in living life and allowing life to live me. But Monday through Friday, boredom is what challenges me even though some days are hectic and busy from start to finish.
And I guess I can build up some momentum on the weekends and do my best to carry it through the week so that the my energy and the energy that surrounds me is both positive and forward moving. Right now my momentum quite slow but at least is creeping forward. I need to find a way to burst this dam, so-to-speak, that I'm behind so I can get caught up in a mighty wave of power and energy that pushes me away from the job, my debt and my stationary life and into the free-spirited life I am seeking.

Thursday, September 29, 2016. Sleep was good to me last night and the alarm gently serenaded us from our slumber. I had a couple of interesting dreams however I've forgotten them both. Too many hours have passed and too busy of a day to get my thoughts on them.
Spirit Is and today's Tarot Energy is the "Queen of Arrows, Swan: A state of separation may exist, bringing with it sorrow, privation and misfortune. You may need to break old bonds and find new rivers in which to swim if you are to move beyond this place of darkness and loss. Purity, Loss, Change, Suffering, Song, Absence, Security, Freedom after strife."
I decided that I needed some clarification for the "Queen of Arrows" so I looked at the bottom of the deck as some use this card as a clarifying or balancing card to the actual "Card of the Day".
Today's clarifying card is "0 The Wanderer: You have come to a junction or turning point in your life. It may be an unconscious state in which you feel the tide has turned or sense something is going to happen. In a way it already has. Your spirit must move on and the desire to leap into the unknown beckons. This may mean leaving behind or giving up some baggage or burden that you have carried with you from the past. Now is the time to be clear and not let fear of falling or sad disillusion with the universe hold you back. Let your imagination carry you into a new set of possibilities. It is a time to travel hopefully and open your arms to new and challenging aspects of the universe."
So with some clarification I am drawn to the suggestion that we need to "find new rivers in which to swim if" we "are to move beyond this place of darkness and loss" as our spirit(s) must move on and the desire to leap into the unknown beckons." Movement beyond where we're at is the message of this day. I feel like I'm in a place of darkness due to the job I have. I know it's not that bad however I feel a strong need to move on but I'm fear to up and quite because of the amount of debt I'm dealing with. At the same however I know the action I need to take if I am to move on.

Wednesday, September 28, 2016. Slept quite well but awoke early so I did my best to meditate as I dozed...focusing on how I'd prefer to live my life instead of how I'm living it now...my focus was less than perfect.

As I was working out at the gym after work, a phrase on a guy's t-shirt caught my attention, a piece of advice-"Just Don't Quit". Thank you very much for that little piece of advice. And that is just what I am determined to do...no quitting for me except that I'm quitting my day job and turning to a full-time career as a Spiritual Guidance Counsellor and a Tarot Reader...I need to quit so I can move into an important and new phase of life...
Advice and making your decisions are the important facets of today. The energy is there to assist and guide you so seek some sage advice, examine every bit and piece of said advice and then make a decision. After making your decision, contemplate how and why you made it, empower yourself to make your next decision on your own without seeking someone else's advice. Keep the power within yourself. Be responsible and take responsibility for your life and your actions.

Tuesday, September 27, 2016. Another long night of sleep...nice to be sleeping so well and it feels much longer than the six or seven hours I'm asleep. I still feel like I'm sleeping ten or twelve hours.
Spirit is and today's Tarot Energy is the “5 of Wands: The Hockey Game. The project meets resistance. Testing one’s ideas against others. An enjoyable struggle. Competition in the marketplace."
I like the idea of "Testing one’s ideas against others". And I guess I need to try this out to see where my ideas sit in the world of ideas whether it be my model railroad or getting into the world of spiritual counselling or working with Tarot and helping others find their way in life.
I'm also enjoying myself as I struggle to make my new life happen but I do not see it so much as a struggle as I see it being a form of exercise where I'm increasing my strength, energy, passion, perseverance, ability to counsel, ability to read Tarot and my connection with Spirit. And not to forget making it easier for me to "Pay It Forward".
I also feel that the energy of the day is also about not falling into the trap of seeing life as a game or a competition. Life is about reaching our highest potentials and making sure that everyone's life matters.

Monday, September 26, 2016. Awoke at 4:45am feeling very much wide awake but crawled back into bed after a bathroom break and fell asleep after tossing and turning for a bit. And then after what seemed hours and hours and a movie like dream the alarm serenaded us out of our slumber. I was thinking I was oversleeping but not at all. My dream revolved around several of us working with or observing a rectangular vertical object that could be held in the hands or freestanding as it was either on a table, workbench, or kitchen island. This was the dream that appeared to last forever. And a word beginning with the letter "Y" figured prominently and the word was seven, eight, or maybe nine letters long.
Spirit Is and today's Tarot Energy is "VI The Lovers: A relationship is always a mingling of differences. A powerful relationship. Seeing both sides of an issue. Flexibility.”
Not that it should not appear today however this card is worn and a bit bent out of shape so is in my view likely to pop up more often. But with having said that I do see the value and merit of this card for today. It's all about the energy in the air and the energy today at least from where I stand is all about "Seeing both sides of an issue" and "Flexibility.” We always need to give everything and anything we are dealing a 360 degree spin so we can see all sides of them. Imagine a spinning globe where you can look and observe every square millimetre of it and where depending on the type of globe you can very detailed information about what is on it. We can do this our everyday lives too. Not everything we encounter or have to make decisions about require or demand snap or impulsive decisions. Take a breath, connect with your core, your inner self, give it some thought and see where your inner guide takes you. And flexibility is not weakness, it's just another facet of how we move through life.

Sunday, September 26, 2016. Pretty much ourselves a lazy day yesterday. We ventured out for a couple of quick walks, one before lunch to do some banking and grab lunch and then another in the afternoon after our grocery run where we walked the booths set up for New Westminster's Riverfest.
I spent most of the day communing with Spirit or poking around my model railroad, not expending a whole lot of energy doing either but simply letting these be as they needed to be for the day.

I think this is about paying attention to all of the overlying and underlying messages and signals that people are sending to us. We can best do that when we project our spirits out into the world as we should be doing on a daily basis. Our spirits should be the first thing people notice about us. When we go out into the world spiritually then we are less likely to have negative feelings and/or reactions t the daily machinations of life that bombard us throughout the day. This then leads to more productive and engaging relationships whether based on intimacy, friendship, or as a co-worker.
What we need to be on the lookout for (feelings, desires, reaction) is represented by the "Four of Arrows, Rest." Exercise, rest, a healthy and meaningful diet, and positive engagement in daily life are needed to keep us balanced and full of the stamina and vitality needed to awake feeling refreshed and ready for the new day each of us is blessed with as we open our eyes and see that that we have been given another day to live purposeful and fulfilling lives.

Saturday, September 24, 2016. Was trying to do everything at once last night so all I did a whole lot of nothing...didn't accomplish much or so I thought...but things were happening however all under the surface and very spiritual and transformative. The Citrine, Quartz Point and Selenite emanate a lot of energy and every time I hold any or all these in my hand or have them in my pocket as I do now I feel a lot vibration, energy, and power especially in the spiritual and subconscious realms. And surprisingly, I finished reconstructing my Chakra Gemstone Chip Bracelet last night and am wearing it now. Feels good to have it back on.
When I decided to make a visit to Reflections Books I was not expecting to purchase anything let alone the items I walked out of the store with. But upon entering the store I was immediately stopped at the Tarot display along the wall and my eyes were drawn to one single deck, the Shaman Tarot. However, I decided to scan the other decks on display as well but the Shaman Deck kept drawing my attention. I took a look at it and was taken in by what I read however I returned the deck to the shelf and browsed the store. I decided to grab a few things and finalize my purchase but the Shaman Deck kept calling out to me and the store clerk had finished ringing up my purchases then I saw Llewellyn's 2017 Magical Almanac so I grabbed it and ignored the Shaman Deck but it was not giving up on me. So after a minute or two or maybe three I grabbed the deck and added it my purchases. I'm glad I did. I know without even removing the plastic wrapping and opening the box that the Shaman Deck and I have a much needed journey to take with one another.
As I crawled into and settled in bed, closing my eyes and relaxing my way to sleep, Aleister Crowley's Thoth Tarot came into my mind to pay a visit. Throughout the night between dreams of my spiritual life and work as well as a few snippets of images from the job, the Thoth Deck spoke to me so I decided to work with it this morning.

I have nothing to add to this. I simply look into the card and get lost in its symbolism and imagery and become one with it. The message is clear if we lose ourselves in this card and more specifically the energy it brings to this day, let life live you and lose your individuality into life itself and become a part of the universal consciousness and that it is!

Decided to visit Reflections Books and walked out the store with several new purchases and a whole lot of spiritual energy in tow. As I was driving back the job I felt the strong energy vibrations of all that I purchased from the new Shaman Tarot Deck to Llewellyn's 2017 Magical Almanac to the Chakra Stone Kit to the Ayurvedic Herbal Incense to the Floré Canadian Incense for Cleansing and Purification as well Abundance to the Citrine stones to the Quartz Point and finally to the Selenite Stone. It was amazing and even now as I have all of these goodies around me the amount of energy I feel coming them all is simply amazing...I'm at a loss for words and likely that's the whole point, isn't it!

Friday, September 23, 2016. Awoke to a wet rainy morning. Have been sleeping rather well however I'm awaking around 5:30am most every morning. Never excited about awaking early on days I have to go to the job. The job is not all that bad but I'm ready to make a change and take a crack at doing my own thing, finances being my only hang up.

Thursday, September 22, 2016. Slept quite well until I awoke 30 or 40 minutes before the alarm then I dozed on and off until the alarm serenaded us out of our slumber. Spent most of last night playing with my new phone and getting everything organized. It's a nice phone but I was happy with my old one and had no plans upgrading it as it was more than enough phone for me...too bad it died on me.

A mingling of differences if handled correctly can create a lot of powerful energy in a relationship that can then be harnessed and used to build a loving life together as well as be a shining example of what a great relationship can be like. Since a relationship involves two people we must understand that we're usually different and have many different points of view and outlooks on life between us. We must be as flexible as we reasonably can be so that we can create that powerful energy I mentioned earlier.
So this is the energy of this day from my side at least. And I'm doing my best, actually we're doing our best (my partner and I) to be as understanding and loving as possible and make our differences work for us and our continuing relationship.

Wednesday, September 21, 2016. Missed writing yesterday but had to take care of replacing my phone that died sometime overnight. The alarm serenading us from our slumber was absent and when I looked at my phone the screen stayed black. I tried to restart it but that didn't work so I removed the battery and left it out for bit as the phone was quite hot. But once I re-installed the battery I thought I got the phone turned on however the screen appeared to be frozen with the phone logo appearing on the screen. So I once again removed the battery and tried to restart the phone but this time nothing...argh!
And in doing some quick research I decided that if the phone was dead and it was not the battery and my carrier could not match the competitor's prices I would switch to a new service provider. My savings over the course of a two year contract are just over $300.00. So the battery was not the culprit so I switched to a new company. My Samsung 5 did not even last two years...but I stuck with Samsung and got the Samsung 7.
Spirit Is and yesterday's Tarot Energy was the “7 of Swords: The Messenger. Carrying your plans through obstacles. Speed is important. Someone brings news or a message. Carelessness.”
For me the “7 of Swords" has encouraged me to expand presence in the social media world and to continue to find ways to reveal who I am to the world. Sometimes this can be done in small subtle ways or with a bit more passion and energy. But all in all it's about putting myself out there for all to see.

"VII The Chariot" is sure letting me know that I need to get on with enjoying life and seizing opportunities. I'm enjoying creating and building my model railroad as well as reading books and my favourite magazines. And opportunities are out there waiting for me and not simply waiting for me but calling out to me and sitting in plain sight, right in front of me.

Monday, September 19, 2016. Slept quite well and was at a point feeling like I was sleeping for too long. And had a recurring dream or maybe I just thought I waking up and falling back to sleep again. One or two people in the dream could be co-workers but at the same time it didn't feel as this were the case. I was dreaming about equipment of some sort but nothing like I work with, more like computers and related technology. And this dreams was the last dream I had before awaking around 5:40am.
Oh, we went out for a hike yesterday, made our way over to Rolley Lake Provincial Park and hiked around the lake and then some as we hike down to Rolley Falls and continued down to a road before finding the other part of the trail on the other side of the creek. It was so nice to be so deeply immersed and in touch with nature. Breathing in the aroma of such a natural setting sent my emotions high. So enriching, invigorating, and life giving. For the first time ever I felt the life force of the many trees I was welcomed to share a bond with, to become one...their bark so warm and soothing filling me with love, peace, contentment, stillness and simply being. I didn't want to leave for I felt like I just arrived home.
One word that kept popping into my mind as city gave way to nature and as I blended into our natural surroundings was "exposure". If I want to really be a Spiritual Guidance Counsellor or a What's Your Tarot Guru, I need to expose myself to the world. Reveal all that I am and make no apologies for it and let the words of those who may be critical of me roll of me like droplets of rain. This is who I am and who I have to be, not for their sakes but for mine.
Spirit Is and today's Tarot Energy is the “Youth of Cups: Youthful emotions. Daydreaming. Shyness.”
The “Youth of Cups" brings to mind the period between childhood and adulthood, a time where the magic and open-mindedness of childhood are still within our minds, hearts and spirits but where also the misdirected ideas of adulthood are being thrust upon us by parents and society. Where we are told that we have to grow up and start acting like adults. What a mistake!
We need to let our children grow up and continue to have those open minds where all things are possible, where magic and fantasy mix with real life. Let them see those imaginary friends, because they may not be so imaginary after all. Let them see the house and forest faeries for these wonderful creatures make life a fun adventure. Let our youth continue to be carefree and fun loving. Let them dance with Spirit and see the world as it real is...full of awe and wonder!
Relish your youthful emotions and never stop daydreaming nor let anyone tell you to stop daydreaming for this is a way to tap into the world not seen by eyes but rather by emotions, spirit, and a willingness to let life live you as much as you live life.

Sunday, September 18, 2016. As much as I enjoy awaking in the dark of the morning, it sure felt good to find that I slept in this morning, not opening my eyes until almost 7:00am. Likely because I didn't crawl into bed until about 11:00pm...Tarot Cards and model railroading were keeping me awake and from wanting to go to bed.
But what a wonderful day I had yesterday. I didn't step out of the condo once unless you count going out onto the balcony as going outside...I took in fresh air as well as searched for the Moon and painted a few more pieces from one of the structures for my model railroad. I've noticed that every day leading up to the Full Moon, she is visible from our deck but on the night of the Full Moon, she's hidden by our building, the building we live in. I have to make the effort to get outside on the night's of the Full Moon as well as the Sabbats, maybe even the esbats.
So I spent the day yesterday contemplating the Card of the Day spread as well as working on my model railroad layout...both being quite productive...light, love, peace, compassion, and empathy fill me to overflowing and flow forth for all to see or so I hope. And the model railroad is showing some progress as well as rebuilding some parts of it to better reflect the look I'm trying to create. I was going to say "want" initially but something stopped me from using that word and I get a sense that's because the layout is in a sense is creating itself and I'm just the hands to manifest it in the physical world...sounds a bit weird, crazy even but that's how it feels...hence the slow progress.

We must develop realistic and achievable goals through much thought and planning. We need to create a blueprint from which we can work where we build a solid foundation for ourselves first that can support our goals and aspirations.

Saturday, September 17, 2016. Had a more or less decent sleep and awoke early so I simply crawled out of bed instead of trying to get more shut eye. I love awaking when it's still dark outside as I like to the see the dawning of a new day. And I especially like to see my candle glowing in the darkness and the smoky incense swirling about in the candle light. It's very spiritual and very moving to me.
I clumsily performed a Full Moon Ritual shortly after crawling out of bed however it was genuine, heartfelt, full of emotion, spiritual and very spiritually uplifting. I'm glad I made the effort as the passion simply flowed and carried me through the experience.
Without further ado, Spirit Is and today's Tarot Energy is a three card of the day spread, the "Initiate of Swords: The suit of Swords and its corresponding element, Air, is masculine and intellectually oriented, so a mature man with blond hair represents this Initiate. He wears a long yellow robe, a yellow stole, and two necklaces. This Initiate can be a person who uses his mind to create order. He takes his experiences and forms useful philosophies and practices, to help himself and others feel at ease in the world. He can, though, rely too much on his self-made order and at times be inflexible."; "Two of Swords: Our Witch sits on a park bench under a waning gibbous moon. She holds two swords crossed over her arms while a fellow Witch stands behind her, covering her eyes. She isn't in danger or alarmed in any way. The Swords represent two choices. She must pick one. The important aspects of the day are represented by "Initiate of Swords" and what stands out for me most about this card is that I use my "mind to create order, I take my "experiences and" form "useful philosophies and practices, to help" myself "and others feel at ease in the world". But then comes the warning to not become too inflexible because of this "self-made order".
Then we must pay attention to the personal issues that are represented by the "Two of Swords" and for me this is really about looking at two choices and making a decision based solely on the two choices at hand and no other factors. If I can rely on my senses and my intuition especially over the past couple of weeks the choice is pretty clear. I need to fulfil my purpose and follow that long and winding road that's waiting for me. And in order to do this I need to quit my job. I've quit my job mentally, spiritually, and psychologically so now all that is left for me to do is to manifest this decision here in the physical world. Spirit is my safety net and this is reflected in the third card and extenuating energy of the day, "XX Judgement".
"XX Judgement" fills me with the knowledge and wisdom that "a change has begun and I'm "finally starting to see some results for" my "efforts". And I'm beginning "to realise" I "can succeed, and turn" my life "around for the better".

Friday, September 16, 2016. Another night of haphazard sleep. Too many thoughts I didn't want to think about that kept recurring every time I awoke and that I could not dismiss no matter how hard I tried. Argh!
Spirit Is and today's Tarot Energy is “XV Self-Hatred: The trap to avoid for all minorities. Unconsciously accepting societal norms. Low self-esteem."
"Unconsciously accepting societal norms" is tapping me on the shoulder right now. I need to accept that I'm passionate about Tarot, Spirit, Wicca, and Nature and have nothing to explain or apologize for. I also believe in the strength and power of the human spirit especially when we remember our spiritual side and that we are interconnected with Nature and can accomplish much when we accept these simple facts.
And I also suffer from "Low self-esteem" as many of us likely do but we just learn to hide it and hide it so well that we also hide it from ourselves. It's always there under the surface but we throw other names at it or simply ignore it altogether. No more of this for me. During my drive to the job today I chided myself for falling back into those societal norms and for not giving myself enough credit for living my life. I then noticed a shift in awareness and consciousness and started to feel better about myself realizing that I am a good and decent person with much to give and even more to be thankful for and about.
I open myself to all possibilities and to all that is good in life. I welcome and breathe in loving and positive energy letting it permeate every atom of my being and to emanate from me for all to see.

Thursday, September 15, 2016. So much for sleeping so well. Last night was a night of tossing and turning and just being able to stay asleep. I awoke many, many times and was almost going to stay up at one point but with a lot of help from Spirit, I took a deep breath as I walked around a bit and then crawled back into bed. What magic...I fell asleep again and awoke just as the alarm began to serenade us.
Spirit Is and today's Tarot Energy is “V The Priest: The best way to help others is to help them make their own decisions. Wisdom. Advice. A ceremony or ritual.”
I'm inspired to help others by helping them make their own decisions. I look at this particular "Priest" today and see a bit of myself in him or maybe better put a bit of him in myself. I do not want to have influence over people or lead them in any way but I want to help them find themselves. Then in this way they can spend time getting to know who they are and what makes them tick. Having helped them achieve this bit of self-discovery empowers them to a point where they know that they themselves are accountable and responsible for their own lives and the decisions they make. But they're happy because they have regained knowledge and power and a connection to an infinite source of wisdom that they can tap into through their human spirit.

Wednesday, September 14, 2016. Had another good night of sleep and a variety of dreams with just a blip of job related thoughts. More and more I'm dreaming about my passionate work as Spiritual Guidance Counsellor and What's Your Tarot Guru. And then thank goodness for the alarm serenading us in the morning as I'm fully asleep at 6:00am. Guess it's because I'm more relaxed than usual by working with Spirit very well these days and because I'm making more and more progress on my model railroad...so happy that my passions are filling me with so much peace and relaxation.
Spirit Is and today's Tarot Energy is the “Man of Coins: Responsible and hard-working. Reliable. Dependable."
For me this is a reminder that through being "Responsible and hard-working" as well being "Reliable" and "Dependable" at the job I'm leaving I will be able to leave the job with having made a good impression on my employers as being able to feel proud of myself for giving one hundred of my time and focus to the job as I did today...and really have done all of this week. And luckily but not likely very well understood or fully appreciated by these employers is the fact that they now employ three such people. And this can be done in a way where we do not sacrifice ourselves too much in the process.

Tuesday, September 13, 2016. Slept very well and had a dream I really wanted to remember but poof it was gone as soon as the alarm started serenading us. Drat! I vaguely remember studying things lying on a table or so I think I remember. It seemed to be something very important and highly necessary to be doing.

"Flexibility” is the big stand out for me regarding this day's energy and "a mingling of differences" is what makes "Flexibility” so important. Differences require understanding and compromise and in order to be understanding and make compromises one needs to be flexible. Flexibility can only come from mutual respect and a willingness to engage one another in real and meaningful conversations. Recognizing and respecting our differences and a willingness to be flexible can only help us grow and become better as individuals, couples, families, as a society and as a species.

Monday, September 12, 2016. What a wonderful weekend we had or more like I had as we spent it pretty much all at home. I was able to putter around dabbling in this and that with this and that being my model railroad putting together my Spiritual Guidance Counsellor Manual as well as my Tarot Reading Kit. I enjoyed so much that I had to force myself to stop and get into bed so I could wake up and go to work this morning.
Spirit Is and today's Tarot Energy is "VII The Chariot. Among the highs and lows of life, make sure you enjoy the highs. At the top of one's game. Seizing an opportunity. Having everything under control (barely).”
First impressions..."At the top of one's game" and "Seizing an opportunity" are jumping out at me. In fact, this card fills me with visions of sitting on many different park benches during a walk along the seawall down in Vancouver and creating Tarot Experiences for many, many people along the way. I'm enjoying the highs of a walking in a beautiful city on a bright and sunny day and meeting new people as I sit on a bench here and there as the mood strikes.
Hit the gym again after about a three week absence, couldn't complete everything but at least I was active and I'm planning to go again tomorrow and ride the stationary bike and do a leg exercise or two. I'm feeling quite excited and energetic about doing a little bit more tweaking to my Tarot Reading Kit and maybe poking around my model railroad for a minute or two.
Unspent energy or a second wind of sorts..."Having everything under control...” Yes, energy through creativity...directing my energy to where it's needed, having fun doing it and seeing results...gotta like it!
And the dogs pulling the skateboarder and his skateboard also have a role to play in today's Tarot Energy. Dogs are faithful so we must be faithful to our goals and pursuits and do our best to find the means and the ways to accomplish them. Sunday, September 11, 2016. Did not have a very active day yesterday at all. Stayed in most of the day only venturing out for quick trip down the block to get some protein powder and then a quick grocery run after dinner. Although, I forgot that I was doubling a chicken recipe I'm preparing today so I'll to skip on down to Safeway and get another can or two of stewed tomatoes. I worked on my model railroad and my Spiritual Guidance Counsellor Manual most of the day. Very relaxing!
Crawled into bed shortly after 11:00pm and awoke at 7:30am. Had one quick dream about what I'm calling the old workplace now as I have at least in a spiritual and psychological sense quit the job. I quickly dismissed that dream. Then I had an odd dream about being in line-up to use the bathroom, that was pay-for-use and very small and uncomfortable and which people snuck in line or in front of people such as me but I simply let it slide. Then the rest of my dreams were about working with several different people and facilitating their experience with Spirit and Tarot. One guy stood out as he was told that his life was going to change and that he's been sitting around waiting but nothing has happened. He wanted me to check with Tarot to see what was going on. So a long conversation ensued about how he had to be an active participant in change. The I told him that we could go through the cards but the lack of change was unlikely to be addressed as that time has passed and this reading would address his life as of now. This dream continued on for some time and was a wonderful and enriching experience.

I see the need to keep things in my life balanced and on an even keel. Saturday, September 10, 2016. Had a decent night's sleep, did awake a few times though but fell quickly back to sleep. Was dreaming about having conversations with people and discussing Tarot with them...I guess I would call it a working dream of sorts. Very enjoyable and quite relaxing. Perhaps, this was the reason why I slept in this morning.
After a quick cup of coffee I walked down to the park and took a seat on one of the benches overlooking the river. The sun was shining brightly only occasionally being filtered by the few clouds in the sky. I soaked up the sun as I relaxed into Spirit and Tarot, shuffling the Pagan deck here and there as the sun seeped into every atom of my being.
Spirit is and today's Pagan Tarot Energy is the "Nine of Swords: Our Witch is having one of those mercilessly sleepless nights. Every worry and concern presses down on her. The weight of the world prevents her from relaxing in any way. Nor is she being productive...all the crying in the world won't solve any of her problems. It's likely that you may find yourself having a sleepless night or two. Be aware that this kind of unproductive worry doesn't solve anything. You are fully capable of handling these things that are bothering you. As soon as you do, you'll enjoy restful sleep again."

Worry can be resolved by action especially in areas of our lives that we can control. I know that a couple of days ago I said that more often than not our worry is about things we can't control however I recognize that is not always the case. In fact we likely worry more about things we have control over than the opposite being true. And our worry is compounded by our giving up power and control over our lives to something outside of ourselves, whatever it may be. We must grab the reins of our lives and take back our control over our lives and keep it as this is where it belongs, with us. Never relinquish control over your life to something or someone else. Be responsible and accountable for the state of and the direction your life has taken, then you'll be in a better position to change it.

Friday, September 9, 2016. I slept right through the night only opening my eyes a few minutes after 5:00am so I spent the remaining hour practicing meditation and before I knew the alarm was once again serenading us.

For me it's about unplugging myself from negative viewpoints as well as trying not to overreact. Oftentimes, we focus more on the negative than the positive and I'm trying to reverse this trend in my own life. And for the most part it's working but I still succumb to grabbing hold of negative energy especially at night...arrrgghhh...sleepless nights...hopefully they become less and less. It's never nice to lie awake at night worrying about things that more often than not we cannot change.

Thursday, September 8, 2016. The alarm has awoken us two days in a row. I was sound asleep when the alarm serenaded us this morning.
Spirit Is and today's Tarot Energy is “XIII Death: Endings are beginnings. A phase of life is over. Allowing time to mourn. A part of yourself has outlived its usefulness” and “0 The Fool: Accepting and exploring one's sexual identity is a journey of self-discovery. Beginning a new and exciting venture. I think “0 The Fool" fell away from the deck as I was cutting it for the third time to reveal today's Tarot which is “XIII Death" so I'm taking these both as the Tarot Energy of the day.

Exploring my sexuality has opened my eyes to new thoughts, ideas, and acceptance of how I feel about the world of sex hence endings are beginnings as old worn out and misguided views on sex are giving way to a healthier acceptance of sex and a better way of living.

Wednesday, September 7, 2016. I forgot to mention yesterday that the stange thing about missing the alarm yesterday was the fact that the alarm on the phone is set for the work week, Monday to Friday and I do not remember turning it off for Monday. So I was surprised that it didn't go off this morning as usual. When I looked at my phone the alarm was indeed turned off and not only turned off but that the alarms for Monday to Thursday were also off. And yet the alarm went off all of last week. I find this very bizarre.
The alarm sounded loudly and brightly this morning at the regular time of 6:00am and this after a night of tossing and turning for about an hour. Thankfully thoughts of model railroading and Tarot readings and chatting with and teaching people helped me fall back to sleep.

For me I'm a bit perplexed except when I think of modifying my iron-footed desire to live life on the road permanently to only doing so part-time and then living here the rest of the time. I also dreamt of working from home, here in the condo, and being more involved with paying my fair share of the household expenses as well as making more detailed dinners and taking care of the house more. Giving up my hard-lined approach to my immediate future to what I feel is a more fair and equitable approach. For one my relationship is too important to me and I want to be able to come back home every once in awhile and rest from living life on the road.
So then, the energy of the “9 of Cups" is fitting for this day because with these thoughts and ideas floating in my mind "Everything is going well.” Not a change of goals as I'm still here as your local Spiritual Guidance Counsellor on this road of life and the revealer of "What's Your Tarot?" Tuesday, September 6, 2016. Decided to relax a little bit more last night so I watched some TV. I've been recording the odd movie as well as episodes of Fear the Walking Dead so I watched one as I shuffled Tarot Cards. Oh, I also poked around my model railroad layout a little bit too!
Then off to bed we went and sleep in we did. I tossed and turned a little an awoke a few times, the last time looking at the time and noticed that it was around 5:00am so turned over and dozed a little only to next look at the time after thinking the alarm should have gone off by now and it surely should have, the time 6:54am. I leave for work at 7:10am. Yikes!
So out of bed we flew and off to work I was at 7:07 so I grab breakfast on the way. Starbucks to the rescue. The coffee was so good and how nice it was to an Oat Fudge Bar again. And just before stopping for breakfast my thoughts shifted from sleeping in to "Why am I driving to a job I no longer have?" It felt wrong to be driving to work today. Do I need to take a big leap of faith and just quit my job and see where nature's energy takes me? I feel no anxiety contemplating such an action...hhhmmm...
...after eating lunch, I grabbed the Whimsical Tarot which revealed the "II of Pentacles: Let go of something old in preparation for new opportunities. Keep your ears tuned to alternative business proposals. Brainstorm with peers, explore teamwork. When reversed: Reflect carefully about your motives before dealing with people. What can I let go of that's old...Edith and Eugene Tokalot, my beading materials, Tarot, Serenity (camper van), my desire to be on the road, my desire to be self-employed, the car, clothes...hhhmmm. Or outdated ideas. Yes, outdated ideas and outmoded ways of thinking. Then my ears will open to alternative business proposals...aha...so I can still plan not to be working at my current job beyond this year yet be open to alternative ways of leaving that job and becoming self-employed. I like it. I also need to get rid of this notion of having super quiet weekends...I need to be and keep active...Tarot, model railroading, hikes, bike riding, spending time with my partner, family and friends...good one!

Happy Labour Day!
I really appreciate everyone who is working on this day. Your work and services are very much appreciated! Thank you to Suzanne, our main server, Kyle who picked up our dirty plates and Thomas, the cashier for taking care of us during our breakfast this morning at Denny's at the corner of North Road and Austin Avenue in Coquitlam.
I happily lit a candle and incense this morning after donning my "Ritual" clothing and then connected with Spirit and Tarot. Today's Pagan Tarot Energy is "VI The Lovers - A decision, a commitment, is placed before us, much like a fork in the road or two opposite paths which beckon to us. We must ask ourselves which of the choices open to us is the one that speaks to our soul. We must make our choices for the right reasons."
It definitely is all about what "speaks to our soul" and thus the reason behind my desire to be a spiritual guide through the magic and energy of Tarot as well as to live life on the road. I know without a doubt that these appeal most to me for nothing but the right reasons. It's proving to be a challenge but I'm going to do it...the energy is here for me to do it and I'm finally remembering how to tap into it again...how to manifest the things I want in this world...THANK YOU SPIRIT...THANK YOU TO ME...for I've truly found myself again.

Didn't get around to writing anything this morning. Not sure why but the morning quickly ticked on by and then we were leaving for our date with friends for lunch and a movie. We had lunch at Joe's Grill on Davie and caught the movie "Viva" that's playing at "The Cinematheque" as part of the Vancouver Latin Film Festival. We had breakfast for lunch, Avocado and Tomato Benny, it was quite good. And "Viva" is very good. I'm glad we went. I must admit I was reluctant to go and wanted to stay home however the outing was fun. But I'd still like to manage to stay home one entire long weekend and do absolutely nothing.
We're back home now and I've just wasted two hours trying to figure out what the stupid Windows update did to my computer. I had wireless access to the internet until this boneheaded update took place. After exhausting myself trying to figure it out I finally found out that the update provided me with a Realtek PCIe FE Family Controller that is Ethernet based. My laptop is no longer wireless. I'm peeved off with Windows now because they couldn't realise that my computer is connected wirelessly. Argh! (EDITED: A miracle of miracles happened. This morning I had no internet access except through a cable then we when we returned home from having breakfast with my brother I looked at the same settings page as yesterday and a WiFi option was now appearing in place of the Ethernet ONLY option that has been there since last night. Amazing! Thank You Tech Gods!)
Dinner was great though, meatloaf with mashed potatoes and ratatouille sauce, tasting better because I didn't make it.
Today's Pagan Tarot Energy is the "Six of Chalices: In a happy, playful reversal of roles, our Witch's daughter sets up her afternoon tea party. She makes sure everyone (dolls included!) has a cup of flowers before the event can begin. There is a gentle, sweet, carefree feel to the entire scene. Take the time for little kindnesses toward those around you. Making people feel comfortable or pleasantly surprised or pampered makes situations and emotions flow smoothly. Don't shun small gestures as childish or a waste of time...these small efforts are often what touch people the most."
"Take the time for little kindnesses toward those around you." How hard can this be? I've given and received "small gestures" and "these small efforts are often what touch people the most" is a very accurate statement. And what a way to create a "gentle, sweet, carefree feel" to the day where "emotions flow smoothly".
I also did a quick reading for myself where I questioned my predicament of wanting to quit my job but need a reliable source of income and wanting ever so much to work as a Spiritual Guidance Counsellor but having no known clients to work with and no firm source of income from pursuing this passion of mine.
Working with the Whimsical Tarot this wonderful deck revealed the card that represents to the root of my current problem: XXI The World; how to deal with it: King of Wands; and the resolution: X of Pentacles.
The root of my current problem: "XXI The World: Look at both sides of every situation and surround yourself with those who truly love you. Refuse to get shaken when others try to undermine your confidence in your strengths and abilities. Rewards and paybacks are just around the corner. Don’t give up anything for anyone. When reversed: Don’t be too trusting. Put your faith in Number One! Pamper yourself and the objects of your affection. Seek intimacy and personal happiness in all you do. Resolutions come slowly but will be worthwhile when they arrive."
I'm always putting myself second to others. I'm more worried about what others think and feel and forget about how and what I think and how I feel. I need to stop this bad behaviour. I really feel a great sense of energy around the fact that "Rewards and paybacks are just around the corner" especially if I "Don’t give up anything for anyone." And this cannot happen when I'm always putting other people first. And I always should "Put your (my) faith in Number One!" And that would be ME!

Using my intuition is key and using my intuition will help me to not only "seek new options for growth" but will also help me to implement them into my everyday life and push me to find ways to "mobilize your (my) skills". When I think of mobilizing skills I see myself being able to go and be anywhere and being in a position to offer my services to any who may seek them out, where they may not even realize this until they see me and feel a need or desire to speak with me...yes, I understand where this is going...PBT.
The resolution: "X of Pentacles: Your imagination is second to none, so express yourself. Your talents are in demand. Just as you attain one goal, another will emerge. Be prudent and confident. Make plans and refuse to be deterred from your new objective. When reversed: You’ve been busy helping others. Keep your own goals foremost in your mind. Friends will show their true colours. These statements say it all: "Keep your own goals foremost in your mind. Your imagination is second to none, so express yourself. Your talents are in demand. Just as you attain one goal, another will emerge." "Your imagination is second to none, so express yourself", express myself indeed! I'm wearing clothes that appeal to me most, that I find spiritually attractive, if you will. I'm being me, bearing my soul for all to see, this is who I am. And my goals are what matter most to me right now. I really do need to be looking after number one, for if I'm doing anything for myself then who am I living for? Someone else, that's who. This is my life and I'm taking it back.
I look back at my life and I see where I made things happen for myself from buying the cars I wanted to buy and working at different jobs that appealed to me most at that particular point in time. I am Wizard Oron and I am your local Spiritual Guidance Counsellor on this road of life and local is wherever I happen to find myself in the present. I will indeed be making myself and my skills mobile so I can not only earn money while on the road pay it forward as well.
