The "Eight of Swords" and Answers Swirling About and Easy to Implement

Yesterday we took a drive out to Chilliwack so the folks at O'Connor RV could take a look at here and determine whether or not the price they offered me without seeing the van was a good one and whether or not it was worth putting the van, my Serenity on their lot or not.  Well, needless to say the van stayed at O'Connor RV ad the first step in my selling it to them has taken place.  The next step is to bring in the signed papers with the offer of purchase to the bank so that the bank will release the van from the lien placed on it to secure the loan so O'Connor can then put her on their lot and sell her to the next potential RVer that will fall in love with her.  I'm a bit sad but at the same time at ease as it is the right thing to do at this time.  I'm confident that there will be another Serenity in life sooner than I think.

XIV Temperance and Challenging Ourselves to Change Before We are Forced to Change

Fine-tuning my business took up most of my evening last night.  I'm trying to be more of a specialist in terms of the tarot services I offer and I think I've found my niche and feel very comfortable with it.  Tarot reading, interpretation, intuition, energy play, etc. has always been top of my mind for me ever since I picked my first deck of tarot cards from the Chapter's bookstore in the Metrotown Mall back in 1999/2000, Aleister Crowley's Thoth Deck.  The gift of Tarot has opened my eyes, my heart, my mind and my spirit to all the wonders of this world and all of existence.  What a gift it is to be alive to experience it all!

Spirit Is and today's Gay Tarot Energy is and I am “XIV Temperance: Mix things up a little.  Combining separate elements to create something new.  Moderation (not too much of each flavour).  Flexibility.”

Going outside or thinking outside the box is my first thought about today's “XIV Temperance".  Then coming up with something new came to mind, followed by throwing out old ideas and modes of thinking.  This lead to thinking about finding new ways and having a willingness to change.  Then mixing different flavours and creating a new one came to mind.  My analogy for this is how bad an black and overripe banana tastes at least in my opinion but then how wonderful it tastes when you make a loaf of banana bread.  We also need to challenge ourselves to go beyond our comfort zones.  My final thought is of accepting that change will happen and that we must decide whether or not we will welcome it by being proactive and willing participants in this change or be dragged kicking and screaming by it.

The choice is ours...change is very much at hand and this is change that must come from within ourselves!

The "3 of Wands, Virtue" and a Pleasant and Exciting Day Ahead

Yesterday was a quiet day for us.  Once we got home we stayed in the rest of the day...really too tired to do much else other than sit, lay, and even have a snooze, an afternoon siesta.  Dinner was easy, a quick warm-up of leftovers and we had and enjoyed our supper.

Today we have to do a grocery run and get prepared for the first and luckily short week of the new year.  Our grocery runs are pretty easy as we plan our meals and have a neat little list prepared before we...well that's true most of the time.

Spirit Is and today's Thoth Tarot Energy is the "Three of Wands/Virtue: Enjoy the springtime atmosphere of this day, no matter what the season may be.  Shake off any gloomy thoughts and give yourself a bouquet.  If you don't already have a steady relationship, you now feel with special intensity how ready you are for a new love.  Perhaps there will actually be an opportunity to flirt today.  But even if you are alone, you will still experience this day as extremely pleasant."

I awoke with a large bouquet of pleasantness courtesy of Spirit and the love and generosity that is the wonder of life and the joy of existence, nature in all her glory.  Any gloomy thoughts have given way to the anticipated beauty and excitement of the day ahead.

"I The Magus" and the Time to Act is Now

Yesterday was a quiet day at home until we headed out at 5:30pm to meet my partner's co-workers for dinner (at the Cactus Club on Kingsway) and then take in a show, "Joseph and His Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" put on by Align Entertainment at the Michael J. Fox Theatre in Burnaby.  It was the performance and they brought the house down, knocked it out of the park, and really wowed the audience.  What a great performance!

If I feel in the mood I'll continue working on my model railroad as I did yesterday where I permanently affixed some track and finalized most of the carving for the mountain.  I personally think the mountain is looking quite spectacular and it's still a piece of pink foam insulation.  Gluing the track down under one section of the mountain opened a gap in the track so now I need to create another custom sized piece of track to fill this gap, easily done as I have many extra pieces of track to work with.

Spirit is and today's Tarot Energy from Crowley's Thoth is "I The Magus: "If not you, then who--and if not now, then when?" is your motto for today.  Don't hesitate to take the initiative.  You have a healthy self-confidence, know what you want, and can skillfully reach your goals with the necessary concentration.  You master your tasks easily.  Whenever a rock has to be set in motion, wherever you want to prove your abilities, today is the right day to do it.  Demonstrate what you can do, stay nimble and coolly independent in discussions and negotiations.  Then you will also easily win others for yourself and your cause."

I'm drawn to theses phrases this morning: "You have a healthy self-confidence, know what you want, and can skillfully reach your goals with the necessary concentration."  Which then leads me to "If not you, then who--and if not now, then when?"  And one thing that stuck in my mind as "Joseph and His Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" was coming to an end was one word that stood out from the song they were singing  and that was "hesitate" and then I knew that I hesitate too much when it comes to acting on my dreams and I'm reminded of it again here this morning with this phrase: "Don't hesitate to take the initiative."

So the message and motto of today in different words is that for today of all days we should realize that we have all of the skills and talents we need to make our most cherished dreams and goals a reality.

'XX The Aeon' and Blending In with the Universal Consciousness

Saturday, September 24, 2016.  Was trying to do everything at once last night so all I did a whole lot of nothing...didn't accomplish much or so I thought...but things were happening however all under the surface and very spiritual and transformative.  The Citrine, Quartz Point and Selenite emanate a lot of energy and every time I hold any or all these in my hand or have them in my pocket as I do now I feel a lot vibration, energy, and power especially in the spiritual and subconscious realms.  And surprisingly, I finished reconstructing my Chakra Gemstone Chip Bracelet last night and am wearing it now.  Feels good to have it back on.

When I decided to make a visit to Reflections Books I was not expecting to purchase anything let alone the items I walked out of the store with.  But upon entering the store I was immediately stopped at the Tarot display along the wall and my eyes were drawn to one single deck, the Shaman Tarot.  However, I decided to scan the other decks on display as well but the Shaman Deck kept drawing my attention.  I took a look at it and was taken in by what I read however I returned the deck to the shelf and browsed the store.  I decided to grab a few things and finalize my purchase but the Shaman Deck kept calling out to me and the store clerk had finished ringing up my purchases then I saw Llewellyn's 2017 Magical Almanac so I grabbed it and ignored the Shaman Deck but it was not giving up on me.  So after a minute or two or maybe three I grabbed the deck and added it my purchases.   I'm glad I did.  I know without even removing the plastic wrapping and opening the box that the Shaman Deck and I have a much needed journey to take with one another.

As I crawled into and settled in bed, closing my eyes and relaxing my way to sleep, Aleister Crowley's Thoth Tarot came into my mind to pay a visit.  Throughout the night between dreams of my spiritual life and work as well as a few snippets of images from the job, the Thoth Deck spoke to me so I decided to work with it this morning.

Spirit Is and today's Tarot Energy is "XX The Aeon.  You are being challenged to drop your >>worm's eye view,<< to see things from a higher plane.  When you have recognized greater timespans (aeons) and other contexts (which you are increasingly ready to do), you will then tend more and more to observe things in their being-ness: to see free from evaluations:  Meditate on the following statement: One sign of ignorance is indicated by some belief in injustice and unhappiness.  Which methods will you use to gain deeper insight and greater wisdom?  God is the Unknown, the mysterious.  The more I know that I don't know, the closer I am to the Divine.  It is life itself, and no longer the limited individual consciousness, which becomes the source of all judgment."

I have nothing to add to this.  I simply look into the card and get lost in its symbolism and imagery and become one with it.  The message is clear if we lose ourselves in this card and more specifically the energy it brings to this day, let life live you and lose your individuality into life itself and become a part of the universal consciousness and that it is!
