'XX The Aeon' and Blending In with the Universal Consciousness

Saturday, September 24, 2016.  Was trying to do everything at once last night so all I did a whole lot of nothing...didn't accomplish much or so I thought...but things were happening however all under the surface and very spiritual and transformative.  The Citrine, Quartz Point and Selenite emanate a lot of energy and every time I hold any or all these in my hand or have them in my pocket as I do now I feel a lot vibration, energy, and power especially in the spiritual and subconscious realms.  And surprisingly, I finished reconstructing my Chakra Gemstone Chip Bracelet last night and am wearing it now.  Feels good to have it back on.

When I decided to make a visit to Reflections Books I was not expecting to purchase anything let alone the items I walked out of the store with.  But upon entering the store I was immediately stopped at the Tarot display along the wall and my eyes were drawn to one single deck, the Shaman Tarot.  However, I decided to scan the other decks on display as well but the Shaman Deck kept drawing my attention.  I took a look at it and was taken in by what I read however I returned the deck to the shelf and browsed the store.  I decided to grab a few things and finalize my purchase but the Shaman Deck kept calling out to me and the store clerk had finished ringing up my purchases then I saw Llewellyn's 2017 Magical Almanac so I grabbed it and ignored the Shaman Deck but it was not giving up on me.  So after a minute or two or maybe three I grabbed the deck and added it my purchases.   I'm glad I did.  I know without even removing the plastic wrapping and opening the box that the Shaman Deck and I have a much needed journey to take with one another.
As I crawled into and settled in bed, closing my eyes and relaxing my way to sleep, Aleister Crowley's Thoth Tarot came into my mind to pay a visit.  Throughout the night between dreams of my spiritual life and work as well as a few snippets of images from the job, the Thoth Deck spoke to me so I decided to work with it this morning.
Spirit Is and today's Tarot Energy is "XX The Aeon.  You are being challenged to drop your >>worm's eye view,<< to see things from a higher plane.  When you have recognized greater timespans (aeons) and other contexts (which you are increasingly ready to do), you will then tend more and more to observe things in their being-ness: to see free from evaluations:  Meditate on the following statement: One sign of ignorance is indicated by some belief in injustice and unhappiness.  Which methods will you use to gain deeper insight and greater wisdom?  God is the Unknown, the mysterious.  The more I know that I don't know, the closer I am to the Divine.  It is life itself, and no longer the limited individual consciousness, which becomes the source of all judgment."

I have nothing to add to this.  I simply look into the card and get lost in its symbolism and imagery and become one with it.  The message is clear if we lose ourselves in this card and more specifically the energy it brings to this day, let life live you and lose your individuality into life itself and become a part of the universal consciousness and that it is!

Thank You Spirit.

The 10 of Coins Again...

I piddled around most of the day yesterday but did manage to take a drive over to my RV where I cleared out an area in the RV where my next project is concerned and then I piddled around the RV before sitting down for a moment or two and simply allowed myself to “be”.  I found the RV to be very comforting yesterday and sensed that this feeling will only grow stronger the more complete and finished the RV becomes especially in the sense of not having any construction supplies lying around and having the RV complete as a living environment, my home, my oasis, my serene space, something I can call my very own.

Thank You Spirit.

Once I returned home I started preparations for dinner and slowly got that going, I made chilli.  It was good but a bit on the salty side but we enjoyed it all the same.  Then we relaxed for the evening before going to bed and allowing sleep to wash over us…

Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is another repeat visitor, the “10 of Coins: History.  A knowledge of and appreciation for history.  Seeing your concerns in a larger context.  Seeing your life as a story, who is the author?”

A couple of things stand out with the appearance of 10 of Coins again and these are things that grabbed and held my attention this morning, Crowley’s Thoth Tarot Deck and the book How To Write for the New Age Market by Richard Webster.  Ever since our road trip to the Oregon Coast and the stores I visited in Astoria and Newport I’ve had a strong sense that I need to focus my life, attention, and need for employment on all things Spirit.  I’m filled with a certain faith and courage that my needs will be taken care of and I have no sense of worry about me.  I believe…I know…

Thank you Spirit.

Blessed Be.

XII The Hanged Man

Today's card, XII The Hanged Man is well-suited for today as it reflects my mindset today and the fact that I am at a cross-roads so-to-speak.  I am deciding to embark on a new path although, realistically speaking it is not so new but more of truer following of the path I'm already on.

Transition, sacrifice leading to fulfillment.  But for me it is more about being a wake up call to get off my butt and truly practice what I preach.  I'm talking the talk if you will but not going that one step further and walking that talk as this card also warns about personal stagnation and resistance to change.

I must truly put my priorities in order and begin to truly pursue this path I set out on so many, many years ago.  I need to dive in head first and allow myself the joy and pleasure of experiencing life for what it truly is.  I will let you know how I make out as I will do my best to post daily the happenings of my metaphysical/spiritual pursuits.

Last night I was awoken several times by movement about the condo.  Although, I saw no physical presence to be alarmed about there was definitely activity going on about the condo while we slept.  I am certain now that I have reflected on this that we had immense spiritual activity taking place in our condo last night.  After getting out of bed this morning I could definitely feel some residual energy about the place that was not there the night before.  Nothing to be alarmed about but rather something to take notice of and pay attention to when it happens again and happen it will.

As I think I mentioned before I own four tarot decks and have only opened and used one deck - the Thoth Tarot Deck: Ordo Templi Orientis deck by Aleister Crowley so my mission moving forward is to use each and every deck.  I love the history and symbolism of the Tarot as well as feel a strong connection to it so I need to do these decks justice and crack open the three remaining decks and let them communicate and work with me as they want and I want them to.

For some time I felt reluctant to use the decks at home but this feeling has subsided and has since been replaced with the energy and knowledge that the time to use them is right and is now rather than later.  I am ready to start and tonight may be just the time to open up one of those decks and allow the cards and the energy they offer make their presence felt in our home. . .

Life is wonderful!

Yesterday's card and today's cards:

March 30th - 7 of Wands - Valour - courage, daring; impact; taking risks; no compromises

March 31st - 2 of Cups - Love - receptive love; happy relationships; emotional exchange.  I surrender to life!

When I reflect on these cards I cherish what they mean to me and how reading and thinking about the meanings of these cards affects my life and the influences they have as I move forward.

I find myself on a new and uncharted path and so far I am enjoying the journey.  Yesterday or the day before I read a news release about a singer and in this article they reference a statement he made on twitter and what caught my attention was a quote he values from Martin Luther King Jr.

"Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter. M.L.K.Jr.”

I also value you this quote and maybe reading this quote is what made the 7 of Wands card appear to me yesterday.  The card is about standing my ground and remaining true to my energies and MLK's statement reflects my beliefs and values in life.

May we all make a stand and let our voices be heard when things are important to us and threatened.

The cards  and book I most refer to are for the Crowley Tarot - Thoth and if you would like to learn more about this book and deck of cards please check out the links below:

Today's Card is the Ten of Cups - Satiety

This is another beautiful card from Aleister Crowley's Thoth Tarot deck.

The ten cups are arranged to resemble the form of the Tree of Life.  Everything is in its right place and in harmonious order.  A wealth of love is received and overflows and a fulfilled person need do nothing but let the love radiate out.  Everything comes to me at the right moment.  Life gives me all I need to be happy.

(Tarot Mirror of the Soul, Gerd Ziegler, Weiser Books, 1990)

At this point in time I am still learning and reading and taking things from the many books I have regarding the Thoth Tarot Deck by Aleister Crowley.

The images of the cards come to me in my dreams at night or thoughts during the day.  As I become more confident with my relationship with Tarot I will formulate my own thoughts and opinions of the cards and share them with you as much as I can.

What a wonderful card for another wonderful day.

It is great to be living in the here and now.

Wednesday, February 3, 2010 - Ace of Swords

Creative energy brought into being through intellectual clarity.  The unconscious (Moon) comes into the light (Sun).  Unconscious energies become accessible to the conscious.  Energies released in this process are available to be used.  But care must be taken to to be fully in contact with "Love" and doing things with the heart of others in mind.

Monday, February 1, 2010 - Four of Disks - Power

On Monday not sure of the time but the image of the Four of Disks came to my mind as the card of the day for me.  This is of course, the Four of Disks as envisioned by Aleister Crowley as the card exists in the Thoth Tarot Deck.

I was feeling kind of melancholy on Monday and had a general malaise about me that I could not explain and when I read more about this card I more readily understood my malaise.

This card has a dual meaning and both possibilities that this card represents existed for me on Monday.

The symbol on the card is a square fortress that is all about security and strength.  This can be expressed in a person who has character and is someone you can depend on.  They are true to their personal principles and conducts all dealings with integrity and they live out their ideals.

Another possibility though is a certain rigidness and coldness upholding standards and lacking a certain humanity.  Cold and stiff rather than warmth and friendship.

Ten Years Ago

Back in 1999 my eyes were opened to the world of Wicca and Tarot and just going on two years ago I learned of all things metaphysical.

1999 was the start of a new job and a new spirituality for me as I learned about and practiced Wicca in my own way.  I searched the net and visited the library often and purchased books to educate myself on all aspects of Wicca as well as to grow and strengthen my Spiritual being.

As my knowledge and practice of Wicca grew and unfolded I found a liking for the Tarot and researched that subject for some time before deciding to buy my first deck of Tarot cards, the Thoth Tarot Deck by Aleister Crowley.  In the years that followed I picked up books that provided me with a deep knowledge of the deck and the many different aspects of interpreting it.

I did not crack the deck open until 2002/03 and only paid attention to it for a short time as I met and moved in with a new Filipino immigrant who somehow convinced me to join a local church that took me away from my love of Wicca and Tarot for almost three years.

Luckily in late 2004, I met someone whom I feel in love with and my relationship with him took me away from the church, more like rescued me from the church thus allowing me to return to the world of Wicca and Tarot but this was not until I left the church completely in 2006.

I yearned for the experiences I had before church but my efforts were proving to be futile and the struggle to regain my true spirituality almost had me giving up on ever feeling like I did back in 2002/03 but 2010 arrived and something clicked and my world has returned to me.

Back in 2002/03 I was so connected to the cosmos that I could feel, sense and see a world beyond our own and I felt so alive.  My energy and spirit filled me with much joy and happiness and provided me with a whole new outlook on life like I never had before.  Those days were unbelievably euphoric for me and no I did not do drugs nor do I do them now.

2010 is a not only a new decade but a new way of life for me.

How wonderful it is to be alive!
