I got so wrapped up in other things last night that I forgot to come back here to my writing. I guess it's the late dinner we had as my partner hosted some co-workers for afternoon coffee, drinks, and desserts. By the time dinner was done and we had our showers I was in a different frame of mind and got onto other things like running a locomotive around my model railroad layout a few times, reading a book I rediscovered on the bookshelves as well as reading a little bit about my latest Tarot purchase, the Golden Dawn. I do indeed like this deck. Then I decided to grab the Shaman deck and read a little more about it too! Another deck I'll enjoy working with for sure.
Spirit Is and today's Pagan Tarot Energy is the "Novice of Swords" (The suit of Swords and its corresponding element, Air, is masculine and intellectually oriented, so a youthful male with blond hair represents this Novice. He wears along yellow robe and hematite necklace. He intently examines a ritual dagger and burning incense. A cardinal perches in a nearby tree. This Novice can be someone with a goal in sight and who pursues it very single-mindedly. He can accomplish much very quickly and extremely well. However, he can be so focused that he misses changing developments, thereby going full steam ahead without considering a change of plan.) and "III The Empress" (All abundance is possible if we focus on what we can bring to ourselves and remember most of all that it is the life we create for ourselves, and those we love that matters most. Put out positive energy, and accept that everything good is possible for us.)
These two cards together, the "Novice of Swords" and "III The Empress" bring very strong "drawing to us" energy into our day. We can create and bring to us the life we want the goals we wish to achieve. But we're also made aware that we should remain open-minded and flexible as well as keep our focus on living positive lives where the kind of life we live as well what we create for our loved ones should be our top priority. Bringing abundance into our lives should not require sacrifice or neglect.

Friday, December 2, 2016. Friends visiting is always a nice thing even though it interrupts or better put postpones one's routine. Such as my reflections and writings about each day's Tarot Energy.
Last night was no different. A friend popped by for a quick visit so our usual night of doing what we do, mostly what each of us loves to do is put aside so we can visit and enjoy each other's company...always a good thing to make time for friends.
Spirit Is and yesterday's Tarot Energy was the "Six of Chalices: In a happy, playful reversal of roles, our Witch's daughter sets up her afternoon tea party. She makes sure everyone (dolls included!) has a cup of flowers before the event can begin. There is a gentle, sweet, carefree feel to the entire scene. Take the time for little kindnesses toward those around you. Making people feel comfortable or pleasantly surprised or pampered makes situations and emotions flow smoothly. Don't shun small gestures as childish or a waste of time...these small efforts are often what touch people the most."
Today's Tarot Energy is the "Six of Swords: Unlike the imagined or overly dramatized tragedy in the Three of Swords, in this card we see an actual tragedy. Something has gone horribly wrong. Destruction is unavoidable. Luckily, our Witch and her young man are escaping before any harm befalls them. They are leaving a terrible situation and heading for a better place. Unfortunately, you're facing something that is unpleasant and probably going to get worse. You may want to gather your belongings and head for a safer harbour. This could refer to many situations...including physical danger, an unhealthy relationship, or an unproductive way of thinking."

Saturday, October 1, 2016. Awoke with Tarot and Spirit in mind and both the Pagan and Wildwood Tarot were calling for attention this morning so today is a two card Tarot Card kind of Day.

Second, from the Wildwood Tarot we have the "Ten of Bows, Responsibility: Whether you volunteered for the task or it is thrust upon you by unforeseen circumstances, it is a time to accept responsibility. Do so with good humour and stoical resolve and welcome any daunting challenge with humility and enthusiasm. Although the timing may be unfortunate or inconvenient, the issues of dealing with responsibility are often a matter of simple self-confidence. The learning curve may be steep and appear insurmountable, but once the task is fully understood and effort is expended, many valuable life-lessons can be learned. The effect of taking responsibility in your family or close tribal group can also have far-reaching effects beyond your personal sphere. Today is a day to extend all sorts of kindnesses to others as well as to graciously accept the responsibilities thrust upon us whether at home, work, or play. People look to us as examples of what it is and what it means to be kind and loving as well as how to handle and take our responsibilities seriously and to heart. People know that life is important to us and that we strive to always treat others with the love and respect they deserve as well as to do our best to make good things happen with the responsibilities given us.
People believe in us so we should also believe in ourselves.

Happy Labour Day!
I really appreciate everyone who is working on this day. Your work and services are very much appreciated! Thank you to Suzanne, our main server, Kyle who picked up our dirty plates and Thomas, the cashier for taking care of us during our breakfast this morning at Denny's at the corner of North Road and Austin Avenue in Coquitlam.
I happily lit a candle and incense this morning after donning my "Ritual" clothing and then connected with Spirit and Tarot. Today's Pagan Tarot Energy is "VI The Lovers - A decision, a commitment, is placed before us, much like a fork in the road or two opposite paths which beckon to us. We must ask ourselves which of the choices open to us is the one that speaks to our soul. We must make our choices for the right reasons."
It definitely is all about what "speaks to our soul" and thus the reason behind my desire to be a spiritual guide through the magic and energy of Tarot as well as to live life on the road. I know without a doubt that these appeal most to me for nothing but the right reasons. It's proving to be a challenge but I'm going to do it...the energy is here for me to do it and I'm finally remembering how to tap into it again...how to manifest the things I want in this world...THANK YOU SPIRIT...THANK YOU TO ME...for I've truly found myself again.

Didn't get around to writing anything this morning. Not sure why but the morning quickly ticked on by and then we were leaving for our date with friends for lunch and a movie. We had lunch at Joe's Grill on Davie and caught the movie "Viva" that's playing at "The Cinematheque" as part of the Vancouver Latin Film Festival. We had breakfast for lunch, Avocado and Tomato Benny, it was quite good. And "Viva" is very good. I'm glad we went. I must admit I was reluctant to go and wanted to stay home however the outing was fun. But I'd still like to manage to stay home one entire long weekend and do absolutely nothing.
We're back home now and I've just wasted two hours trying to figure out what the stupid Windows update did to my computer. I had wireless access to the internet until this boneheaded update took place. After exhausting myself trying to figure it out I finally found out that the update provided me with a Realtek PCIe FE Family Controller that is Ethernet based. My laptop is no longer wireless. I'm peeved off with Windows now because they couldn't realise that my computer is connected wirelessly. Argh! (EDITED: A miracle of miracles happened. This morning I had no internet access except through a cable then we when we returned home from having breakfast with my brother I looked at the same settings page as yesterday and a WiFi option was now appearing in place of the Ethernet ONLY option that has been there since last night. Amazing! Thank You Tech Gods!)
Dinner was great though, meatloaf with mashed potatoes and ratatouille sauce, tasting better because I didn't make it.

"Take the time for little kindnesses toward those around you." How hard can this be? I've given and received "small gestures" and "these small efforts are often what touch people the most" is a very accurate statement. And what a way to create a "gentle, sweet, carefree feel" to the day where "emotions flow smoothly".
I also did a quick reading for myself where I questioned my predicament of wanting to quit my job but need a reliable source of income and wanting ever so much to work as a Spiritual Guidance Counsellor but having no known clients to work with and no firm source of income from pursuing this passion of mine.
Working with the Whimsical Tarot this wonderful deck revealed the card that represents to the root of my current problem: XXI The World; how to deal with it: King of Wands; and the resolution: X of Pentacles.
The root of my current problem: "XXI The World: Look at both sides of every situation and surround yourself with those who truly love you. Refuse to get shaken when others try to undermine your confidence in your strengths and abilities. Rewards and paybacks are just around the corner. Don’t give up anything for anyone. When reversed: Don’t be too trusting. Put your faith in Number One! Pamper yourself and the objects of your affection. Seek intimacy and personal happiness in all you do. Resolutions come slowly but will be worthwhile when they arrive."
I'm always putting myself second to others. I'm more worried about what others think and feel and forget about how and what I think and how I feel. I need to stop this bad behaviour. I really feel a great sense of energy around the fact that "Rewards and paybacks are just around the corner" especially if I "Don’t give up anything for anyone." And this cannot happen when I'm always putting other people first. And I always should "Put your (my) faith in Number One!" And that would be ME!

Using my intuition is key and using my intuition will help me to not only "seek new options for growth" but will also help me to implement them into my everyday life and push me to find ways to "mobilize your (my) skills". When I think of mobilizing skills I see myself being able to go and be anywhere and being in a position to offer my services to any who may seek them out, where they may not even realize this until they see me and feel a need or desire to speak with me...yes, I understand where this is going...PBT.
The resolution: "X of Pentacles: Your imagination is second to none, so express yourself. Your talents are in demand. Just as you attain one goal, another will emerge. Be prudent and confident. Make plans and refuse to be deterred from your new objective. When reversed: You’ve been busy helping others. Keep your own goals foremost in your mind. Friends will show their true colours. These statements say it all: "Keep your own goals foremost in your mind. Your imagination is second to none, so express yourself. Your talents are in demand. Just as you attain one goal, another will emerge." "Your imagination is second to none, so express yourself", express myself indeed! I'm wearing clothes that appeal to me most, that I find spiritually attractive, if you will. I'm being me, bearing my soul for all to see, this is who I am. And my goals are what matter most to me right now. I really do need to be looking after number one, for if I'm doing anything for myself then who am I living for? Someone else, that's who. This is my life and I'm taking it back.
I look back at my life and I see where I made things happen for myself from buying the cars I wanted to buy and working at different jobs that appealed to me most at that particular point in time. I am Wizard Oron and I am your local Spiritual Guidance Counsellor on this road of life and local is wherever I happen to find myself in the present. I will indeed be making myself and my skills mobile so I can not only earn money while on the road pay it forward as well.
