"12 the Mirror" and Surrendering Our Wills to Allow Or Souls to Take Flight

We enjoyed a very nice outing yesterday.  We decided to drive up and take a stroll through the Othello Tunnels.  I loved the drive up and could have simply drove all day long as long as there was highway on which we could drive.  The parking lot at the Coquihalla Canyon Provincial Park was full and we pulled into one the last official maybe even unofficial parking spots that just happened to be at the trailhead for the Tunnel Loop Trail that is, I think, a 5.3km loop that takes up the side of the mountains and along some amazing vistas where at one point we came upon a bench that I could have sat on for hours to simply soak up the views open before me.  As we neared the end of our hike having passed through the last tunnel or the first tunnel depending on which way you hike we sat on a fallen tree down by the Coquihalla River to yet again soak up the amazing vistas all around us, another place where I could sit for hours simply appreciating the stunning nature that not only surrounds us but that fills every atom of our beings.  Nature is more a part of us than many us realise or appreciate.
And even as we got to the car the amazing views from the parking took hold of me with their spell and I was again mesmerised by the amazing views and feelings that came over me as got ready to leave this magical and mystical place.
And then I was filled with the desire maybe even the need to get out and spend more time in nature somehow and that I also missed my camper van, Serenity or being able to come out and enjoy such experiences in camper van for that matter even the 1992 Ford Okanagan Conversion with over 200,000km that is for sale at dealership out in Maple Ridge...
...Spirit Is and today's Wildwood Tarot Energy is "12 The Mirror: Patience and prudence are the keywords here, although trust plays a large part in the process of crossing to the island where insights into our own unconscious workings may be revealed.  This process differs from the journey of the Hooded Man, who makes a conscious decision to withdraw and contemplate the universe.  In the Mirror, a surrender of will is required.  Insights may come from dreams and meditations, but now is the time to force the pace or drive on with a plan or desire until you have heard what your soul has to say, and your bruised and wounded spirit has been healed.  Be patient.  Let the journey commence and awaken afresh and full of energy, ready to deal with the world and the challenges it raises."

We wrap ourselves in a cocoon to let a metamorphosis to occur where we surrender ourselves, our wills over, so that our souls, the very nature of who we is revealed, filled with fresh insights, ancient knowledge and wisdom that is as is timeless as is Spirit that will give us the energy needed as we re-awaken to the world with fresh eyes and a new way to see and deal with this world.

Thank You Spirit.

The "9 of Coins" and Enjoying Life Through Spiritual Enrichment

Another decent night of sleep but awoke somewhere between four and five in the morning and could not fall asleep again.  Going to have to get more into meditation and other relaxation techniques as I tend to dwell on issues that get me to worrying, nervous and anxious about things of which I have no control over and it's getting to be a bit tiring.  I have books to read so I should do more reading as this was a great way to relax for me years ago, a total way to forget about and lose track of time.  Loved those experiences.

Spirit Is and today's Gay Tarot Energy is the “9 of Coins: Rewards.  Enjoying the fruits of your labour.  Well-deserved enjoyment.”
"Well-deserved enjoyment" stands out to me and I get the feeling that such enjoyment is going to be much more plentiful in my life.  I'm feeling a great sense of freedom and an inkling of working less and enjoying life more, no money worries, little to no stress, and being spiritually rich beyond measure.

My intuition is telling me that we especially I need to trust Spirit more, to get back into knowing what Spirit and Nature are all about to let them lead me to spiritually enriched enjoyment of life and all things.  The trees are, the forest is waiting for me to visit again and to enjoy their love and friendship.  This reminds me that as I driving back to the job, I drove past two pairs of crows foraging in the grass for food and was struck by the thought and image of sitting with them and simply "be".  To have a conversation of sorts with them and become more comfortable with my stronger and more dynamic spiritual role in life.

So the message of the day as I see it is to simply be, enjoy life and to left life enjoy you!

Thank You Spirit.

The Guide of Coins, Embracing Our Nature-ness and Witnessing Magic In Our Lives

Getting back into a regular gym routine is doing wonders for me.  I'm feeling better, less moody, eating healthier, and rebuilding muscle mass.  I even think that I'm looking better too!

Last night I know I had dreams and awoke once or twice remembering the dreams but they faded deep into my memory banks, I suppose.  Driving on a road in the van kind of rings a bell as do images of the Pagan and Shaman Tarot decks.  As I  was relaxing in bed for what I thought would simply be a couple of minutes holding these two decks I soon found myself awaking five or ten minutes later with the decks still in my hands.

Spirit Is and today's Gay Tarot Energy is the “Guide of Coins: Seeing the magic in the mundane.  Spiritual fulfillment from nature.  Finding joy in the ordinary.”
Hugging trees and desiring more time out in nature filled my mind as this card revealed himself this morning.  Watching the crows fly overhead this morning before heading into the job made me want to follow them so I could sit amongst them and just be.  Speaking of crows here are photos of my purchase a few weeks back: crows on a wire and a city crows calendar.

Nature is flowing through my veins these days.  As I think of nature I think of awaking in the morning inside of a cold van wrapped in layers of winter blankets.  I or we are parked on a street or in a campground somewhere all to fulfill my or our desire to be out in nature as much as possible.

Nature is magic and I am, we are nature and when we embrace our nature-hood or nature-ness, magic happens, happens in our lives!

Thank You Spirit.

The 'Sage of Wands' and Changing Our World by Reaching for Our Highest Ideals

Friday, October 14, 2016.  Thank you for the gifts of the crows over the past few days including today a great reminder of the activeness of Spirit in my life and a nudge to read the book I received from my partner in March "Gifts of the Crow".  I think I vaguely recall a few crows filled my dreams last night.

Today's Tarot Energy is the “Sage of Wands: Wanting to change the world.  Changing your environment by winning others over to your viewpoint.  Critical acclaim.  Politics.”
"Changing your environment by winning others over to your viewpoint" is calling my attention and for good reason too!  This is the best way to challenge ourselves to know exactly what we want, what we stand for and what we hope to accomplish.  It helps us develop our plans, strategies, actions and calls to action that we hope are shining example for people to not only look to but also respond to.

So yes, I'm "Wanting to change the world" but not only for me, for us, for all of us, for all of humanity, the human spirit--who see, know, feel, understand that we can, humanity can, should, and needs to be better than we are.  Let's change the world together by reaching for our highest ideals.

Thank You Spirit.

The 'Page of Bows' of Being Free Spirited

Monday, October 10, 2016.  Happy Thanksgiving!  This to all of my fellow Canadians here in Canada and abroad.

We had another relaxing day yesterday.  We lazed around most of the morning before heading to Commercial Drive to have brunch.  We soon found ourselves sitting and relaxing at Cabrito Tapas-Bebidas.  The food was good, the service friendly and the ambience and atmosphere warm and inviting.  Next time in the area though we'll likely check out Jamjar, that's next door, as they apparently serve up some great Lebanese folksy food.

We had coffee and dessert at Renzo's, it was okay but the staff were a bit pretentious and the place felt a bit stuffy even though it's an open, airy kind of place.

Then we meandered back home.  Oh, we did check out the Doctor Vigari Gallery on our stroll along Commercial.  What a great place.  They gave crows, well crow art to be exact a lot of space.  The crows were featured in paintings, metal, resin, photos, and greeting cards.  And speaking of crows, they've just made their presence known this morning with a welcoming 'caw'.  In fact, yesterday on our way to Commercial Drive as we walked up to the intersection of Carnarvon and Sixth here in New Westminster, a crow landed on the Carnarvon Street sign just inches above where we stood.  I had a bit of a connection with him before he flew off and landed on the building where Ki Sushi is located.  And again before crossing the street the crow and I exchanged quick glances as well as an exchange of spirit.  What a great experience!

Just came back in from the deck as several crows dropped by for a quick visit.  What a great way to start the day.  I look forward to more exchanges like this.  Hopefully, the weather is such that I can get outdoors in the morning and be with the crows, be with Spirit so I can better understand and fulfill my purpose.

Spirit Is and today's Wildwood Tarot Energy is the "Page of Bows, Stoat. Often, you are seen as an emissary and, as such, your gifts are widely recognized and honoured.  Your ability to perceive the truth in almost any matter is vastly helpful and your freedom of spirit marks you out as an original and unique personality.  Secrecy, Anonymity, Extraordinariness, A prodigy, Strange tidings, A free spirit, Dreams, Vision, The appearance of a stranger."
"Freedom of spirit" stands out for me today and this may be linked to the appearance of so many crows over the past couple of days.  For me it's no accident that so many crows have made their presence known to me and I know that the "Page of Bows" is a further reminder of my free spirit and that I'm quite right in moving forward as a Spiritual Guidance Counsellor and Tarot and Chakra Intuitive just as I have advertised on both my business cards and car door magnet.  In fact as we walked out the door yesterday on our way to brunch yesterday, Wizard Oron, Spiritual Guidance Counsellor kept popping up in my mind, in fact it popped up in my mind throughout the day and especially so the Doctor Vigari Gallery.

"A prodigy" and "The appearance of a stranger" are now jumping out at me.  Am I a "prodigy" of sorts and is the result of "The appearance of a stranger" or do the crows represent the stranger, am I their prodigy or do the crows represent the prodigy referred to by the extraordinary energy of the "Page of Bows" of today?

More questions than answers but what wonderful loving energy and spirit surrounds and fills me today.  I'm enamored with and by Spirit.

Thank You Spirit.

The '7 of Swords' and a Little Piece of Paradise

Saturday, July 23, 2016.  Awoke quite early this morning and find myself sitting here on the park bench and it's a bright and early 6:30am.  Soaking up the sun's rays as crows gave me a warm welcome.  The moon is still hanging in the sky.

The Sun, the Moon, a beautiful morning accentuated by shining black crows providing the perfect setting to work with the Pagan Tarot.

Today's Tarot Energy is the "7 of Swords: Here we see a pleasant surprise.  Our Witch makes her to a clearing to perform a ritual.  She is expecting to make do with very little.  However, when she arrives, she finds that someone has set up a tent, started a fire, and left her all the tools she'll need.  She had no logical reason to expect this lovely surprise.  This card is a reminder that sometimes good things just happen.  Logic, reason, past experience - they may indicate a certain outcome.  And then, boom!, magick happens and you're unexpectedly blessed."
Then a young couple show up, the young man proud that he is bringing his girlfriend early in the morning so they can enjoy some fishing together.  He proceeds to tell me that she's not all that happy or keen to be up and out this early.  She confirms this as they converse amongst themselves by telling him that she could still be and would prefer to be in bed sleeping.  He offers a olive branch, a vodka cooler...I whisper to myself, "he's offering you a compromise", a little something that might make you a bit happier and besides he's also trying to get to appreciate the beautiful morning that they have together.

I decide to take my leave  and allow them to enjoy this little piece of paradise (Pier Park, New Westminster) for a spell.  Happy Fishing!

The "7 of Swords" is reminding us that once in awhile "magick happens and" we're "unexpectedly blessed"  in spite of what our "Logic, reason, past experience" may lead us to believe otherwise.  It's very true that "sometimes good things just happen" and I'm glad to have this reminder as I've had such experiences before.  However, with the ups and downs of life we more often than not tend to dwell on and focus our attention on the bad that happens rather than all of the good that is also a part of life.

An example, I can go down to a park (a little piece of paradise) on a beautiful morning and be one with all of Nature and all of Spirit and all that is you and I.  Tarot cards in hand, freely being myself, Spirit smiling and shining upon me.  I have no fears, nor worries...I simply am!

Thank You Spirit.

Namaste.

Addendum: The 'Novice of Swords', Cardinals and Crows

Sunday, May 29, 2019 Addendum:

I feel a need to write a bit more about the "Novice of Swords" as the 'cardinal' perched in the tree caught my attention and also reminded me of the number of crows that I've noticed during my drives whether during the job or when driving to and from Quesnel or just from work to home.  I have Ted Andrews book, 'Animal-Speak' and in his entry for the cardinal he refers to this bird as being a symbol of 'renewed importance', "Accept you(r) life's importance.  Accept yourself as a source of light and do not be afraid to conduct yourself accordingly."  Animal-Speak, Ted Andrews, Dragonhawk Publishing, Jackon, Tennessee, 2009, page 20

I've long felt like a source of light, that is, if I let myself be one and the cardinal is reaffirming my choice of where I'd like to go with my life.  I've long desired to travel, simply driving along the roads and highways of North America but have been challenged by my lack of commitment and not truly or really pursuing this goal.  I've not been active enough in making my life happen.  This is stopping now.  I will drive these roads and highways, in fact I've already started and do so by offering myself as one more source of spiritual light and energy here on the earthly plane.

Need a spiritual recharge, boost, cleanse, or renewal or all of these?  Well come on over and tap into my spiritual energy and take what you need.  Let me assist you in reconnecting with Spirit and tapping into its unlimited loving energy and see your life renewed and eyes opened!

Crows are offering up 'magical help'.   "Unexpected help with problems and obstacles is at hand to bring relief.  Your magic is calling and it will be answered."  Animal-Speak, Ted Andrews, Dragonhawk Publishing, Jackon, Tennessee, 2009, page 22

I'm on the right path and there is no turning back.  I dedicated to achieving my goal while at the same enjoying the journey to get there along with keeping my eyes opened for better and brighter ways of doing things.

I'm living life, and life is living me! Chakras For Beginners, David Pond, Llewellyn Publications, Woodbury, Minnesota, 2009, page 27

Thank You Spirit.

Namaste.

The '5 of Cups' and Turning Regret Into Action and Building a solid Future For Oneself

Tuesday, March 22, 2016.  Taking the day off to celebrate the gift of being given a life as well as enjoying life for fifty years.  Slept in until the alarm at 7:00am this morning as one of us still has to head into work.

And a gift in shiny blue foil wrap was waiting for me as we sat down to breakfast, "Gifts of the Crow".  I love crows and I loved even more after walking into Tofino this past October and seeing how this community has embraced this wonderful creature.

Today's Gay Tarot Energy is the “5 of Cups: The Aftermath.  Regret over past actions.”
I can only surmise that the “5 of Cups" appears today because of my thoughts of the major purchase I made ten years ago that is still with me today, well somewhere nearby but in much worse shape than when I picked it up and far less valuable to.  I had inklings of regret over this but am moving on as I have much to be thankful for and so much more to look forward to and enjoy such as more days spent in Serenity and in the abundance of nature that we get to call home here in beautiful British Columbia.

So turnaround from those broken cups in front of you and see what gifts you are missing behind you.  Gifts that give you strength and a foundation to build your future and success on.  Get started on your brighter future today.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

The 'Knight of Vessels, Eel'

Wednesday, October 14, 2015.  Another evening of Spanish lessons has come and gone and I'm actually learning the language one baby step at a time. Gracias.

I'm sleeping quite well considering I'm back at work and not able to simply sleep in and not worry about the day as we did last week.  I thoroughly enjoyed the week especially knowing that I had more to focus on the spiritual: Spirit, Tarot, the Sun, the Moon, and Crows along with the spirits of others and how I wish to engage with others' spirits around North America...this is my ultimate goal, my perfect job, my most rewarding career, my surest path to success that cannot and can never be measured in dollars and cents.  I give much thanks to the great conscious that "IS" for enriching my life and bringing such realizations as these into my life.

Spirit Is and today's Tarot Energy is the "Knight of Vessels, Eel: With purity of intent, your destiny defined, you are able to bring wisdom and maturity to your tasks.  Embarking on a quest of personal revelation, your vision leads you onward.  Your deep feelings are expressed at every turn.  Attraction, Conquest, Seduction, A welcoming, Compliance, Agreement, Induction, Coming together, Union, Arrival."

For now I feel a need to simply let the "Knight of Vessels, Eel" define and represent itself where you can allow its energy fill and guide you as needed without any words coming from me.  For me I feel like I've come upon and am about to open a long lost treasure...I wonder what it might be...

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

'0 The Wanderer' and Following Your Heart Into the Future

Monday, October 12th, 2015.  Happy Thanksgiving.  I hope everyone had or will have a great Thanksgiving Celebration and Dinner.

We entertained family and friends yesterday.  A bit of a last minute gathering decided upon our coffee get together Saturday afternoon.  But it turned out very well and each dish received rave reviews: ham, sweet potatoes, carrots, stuffing, salad and even the seemingly much hated brussel sprouts.  The Costco Pumpkin Pie went down well with the good old fashioned homemade whipped cream.

Thank You Spirit.

Crows, crows, crows...crows and my future seemingly go hand in hand.  I'm not exactly what kind of transition took place within me during our travels however what I do know is that the crows we saw along our travels really stood out for me especially as we sat enjoying our coffee and snack at the Tofino Coffee Company where three of four wood carved larger than life crows took roost.  And as today's Tarot Energy revealed itself the first image or word that came to mind...crow or a flock of crows.

And with that, today's Tarot Energy is "0 The Wanderer: You have come to a junction or turning point in your life.  It may be an unconscious state in which you feel the tide has turned or sense something is going to happen.  In a way it already has.  Your spirit must move on and the desire to leap into the unknown beckons.  This may mean leaving behind or giving up some baggage or burden that you have carried with you from the past.  Now is the time to be clear and not let fear of falling or sad disillusion with the universe hold you back.  Let your imagination carry you into a new set of possibilities.  It is a time to travel hopefully and open your arms to new and challenging aspects of the universe."

Today is about taking a leap of faith, to follow where your true heart has already gone.  Let your imagination soar and take you into a new world of possibilities and maybe even achieving the impossible.  Don't hold yourself back with fear or doubt.  Take the leap of faith...just do it and let the universe lead the way...cross that rainbow and meet your heart in the future that beckons you.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

Spiritual Fulfillment - The Guide of Coins

I had a decent enough day yesterday.  I had a cleaning and check-up at the dentist.  I made Oatmeal Raisin Cookies from a new recipe and I made Hamburger Pie for dinner, also a new recipe.

I did a bit of reading after dinner and then some research later in the evening just before hopping into bed.  I thought it would be a good idea for me to do some research and find out a few things about the animals that have made their presence known to me either out in the real world, through Spirit or through my dreams.  Oh, and I mustn’t forget through a plush toy, my rat.

So in addition to the rat, I’ve seen a turtle and a German Shepherd through Spirit, a Sparrow and a Crow in real life.  I’ll read through what I discovered and write about all of it in very short order.

I do not remember much dream activity last night other than trying to ride what appeared to be a stationary bike outside on a dark rainy afternoon.  Oh, a man also appeared in my dreams, kind of in the shadows and now I also remember a dream about food, a magick circle, and maybe a few family members, it’s a bit vague at the moment about who the people in my dream may have been but family members seems right to me.

Thank You Spirit .

Working with Tarot this morning out on the deck as a cool but warm wind gently caressed me.  Today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Guide of Coins: Seeing the magic in the mundane.  Spiritual fulfillment from nature.  Finding joy in the ordinary.”

Yes, I must admit that seeing the Moon, Stars, Sun or feeling the falling rain, or the wind upon my face bring me much Spiritual pleasure.  This is the same for the pigeons, seagulls, and crows that dot the sky out the window every now and then or the Sparrows that flit about down around the corner as they seek out food and then retreat back to their homes in the shrubs that dot the street and bring a bit nature to the city.

It’s good to feel so alive.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.
