The "Guide of Coins" and Feeling Special about having an Ordinary, Mundane Day

Slept very well with just a few oddball thoughts coming and going throughout the night.  And really didn't want to awake this morning, was so very tempted to ignore the alarm and fall back to sleep but I didn't.

Spirit Is and today's Gay Tarot Energy is the “Guide of Coins: Seeing the magic in the mundane.  Spiritual fulfilment from nature.  Finding joy in the ordinary.”
The “Guide of Coins" is one of my favourite cards in this deck.  It really defines the way I feel.  Nature is not only my home, it's a part of who I am.  I feel connected, vibrant, alive and full of energy even with a swarm of mosquitoes wanting to draw every millilitre of blood from us during our Cougar Mountain Cedar Grove hike on Sunday.

But enough about me and today's Tarot Energy.  This is supposed to about you, yes, you!

Today's “Guide of Coins" is that specialness you're feeling today as you look out and spot a bird singing just for you, you're sure you're the only one hearing this special song.  Today's energy is about the smile that crossed your lips today as that rusty old sign caught your attention and the mundaneness of the scene that filled your eyes as you looked back up and got back to your walk, nothing noteworthy, just life simply being life...

...aahhh...that's the whole energy of today's “Guide of Coins", life simply being life...nothing extraordinary, nothing eventful, nothing to write in the diary but wait, yes there is...you can write that you enjoyed being ordinary today, enjoyed the mundane day you had and that you'd like to experience it all over again!

What an experience!

Thank You Spirit!

The "Guide of Coins"

For about ten days, we'll have a houseguest, her name is Zooey, if I remember correctly, my brother's adopted cat as my brother has taken a vacation.  She's been a bit shy but allowed me to pick her up.  She's not so shy anymore.  She sat on my lap for ten or fifteen minutes after which I was wearing a fur coat, thanks to her.  And so far my allergies are staying in check but I'm going to take some allergy medication before going to bed.

Had some interesting dreams last night.  In one we were parking along a gravel road, that would be my partner, brother, sister and brother-in-law.  My brother's vehicle seemed to be parked there and he may have been having some trouble getting it started.  We were going to park near him but I then parked on the other side of the road near a bridge.  Once parked we exited the vehicle and that's when I noticed that it was parked a bit too close to a small creek running alongside the road so I proceeded to life the car up by the front bumper to move it into a better position.  Somewhere along the way the car was moved somewhere else even though a ditch suddenly appeared by the road so I'm not sure how I had parked the car in the first place.

In the second dream the premier of BC appeared even though she was unwelcome.  She was hoping to convince me that building the Site C dam was okay and was in no way harming the environment/  I was having none of that and was also slightly embarrassed as she showed up even though we were in bed sleeping...so odd!  And besides destroying thousands of hectares of farmland it was wiping out some rare species of flora and fauna found only in BC is going to add likely ten billion dollars to BC's already massive debt that no one seems too concerned about.

Spirit Is and today's Gay Tarot Energy is the “Guide of Coins: Seeing the magic in the mundane.  Spiritual fulfillment from nature.  Finding joy in the ordinary.”
Spiritual fulfillment from nature was where it was at for me yesterday.  We walked along the trails and dikes of the Serpentine Wildlife Management Area.  71 hectares of "a mosaic of wetland, riparian, and open field habitats for migratory waterfowl and other wildlife within the Fraser River Delta and Pacific Flyway."  (http://www.env.gov.bc.ca/fw/habitat/conservation-lands/wma/serpentine/)

What a beautiful area to enjoy a sunny day.  We saw crows, red-winged blackbirds, wrens, geese, mallards, and ducks.  And all of this land sandwiched in triangular form between Highway 99 and the King George Highway.

We continued our nature tour with a visit to OWL as they had an open house this past weekend.  OWL rescues many a bird and reptile with the aim of releasing them back into the wild which cannot always happen as the injuries suffered may require amputations or worse.

So with being out in and with nature my spirit is soothed, cleansed, purified and energized.  I feel quite good and intuitively sense that I'm about to, if I have not already, embark upon a new more spiritually rewarding path.

Thank You Spirit.

The Guide of Coins, Embracing Our Nature-ness and Witnessing Magic In Our Lives

Getting back into a regular gym routine is doing wonders for me.  I'm feeling better, less moody, eating healthier, and rebuilding muscle mass.  I even think that I'm looking better too!

Last night I know I had dreams and awoke once or twice remembering the dreams but they faded deep into my memory banks, I suppose.  Driving on a road in the van kind of rings a bell as do images of the Pagan and Shaman Tarot decks.  As I  was relaxing in bed for what I thought would simply be a couple of minutes holding these two decks I soon found myself awaking five or ten minutes later with the decks still in my hands.

Spirit Is and today's Gay Tarot Energy is the “Guide of Coins: Seeing the magic in the mundane.  Spiritual fulfillment from nature.  Finding joy in the ordinary.”
Hugging trees and desiring more time out in nature filled my mind as this card revealed himself this morning.  Watching the crows fly overhead this morning before heading into the job made me want to follow them so I could sit amongst them and just be.  Speaking of crows here are photos of my purchase a few weeks back: crows on a wire and a city crows calendar.

Nature is flowing through my veins these days.  As I think of nature I think of awaking in the morning inside of a cold van wrapped in layers of winter blankets.  I or we are parked on a street or in a campground somewhere all to fulfill my or our desire to be out in nature as much as possible.

Nature is magic and I am, we are nature and when we embrace our nature-hood or nature-ness, magic happens, happens in our lives!

Thank You Spirit.

The Guide of Coins and Coming to Appreciate That Ordinary and Mundane is Not Always Boring

Thursday, May 12, 2016.  A decent night of sleep even with awaking what was likely an hour or so before the alarm as I fell back to sleep almost at the same moment I recognized that I was slightly conscious and not fully asleep.  I had an odd dream or two during this time.  Can't really remember much but I remember being perplexed by them.

And then Spirit's time is now and today's Gay Tarot Energy is the “Guide of Coins: Seeing the magic in the mundane.  Spiritual fulfillment from nature.  Finding joy in the ordinary.

This is one of my favourite cards in the deck.  I find the mundane, exciting and nature is Spirit in all its forms and ordinary moments are joyful and never boring.  A prime example of this is how content I am to go camping and simply relax on Serenity's sofa enjoying the view out the window after a hike down a trail or a quick drive down the road to enjoy a little piece of small town America.  The simple pleasures in life are the best.  At least they are for me.

Let nature be the special effects in your life.  Let the ordinary and mundane surprise you with just how fun, unique, and surprising they can be.  If it's beach weather where you go sit down on the beach and let the waves tell you a story or go out on a limb and have a conversation with them.  Or listen to a babbling brook or watch as a river flows and creates a pallet of colours, waves, and different textures as it flows to another river, a lake, or the ocean.  Or simply lie on your back and stare at the sky and simply "be".

Thank You Spirit.

Namaste.

The Guide and Ace of Coins

Tuesday, March 24th, 2015.  As usual we had a quiet and what some might call a boring evening at home relaxing and doing a whole lot of nothing as we relaxed the evening away after dinner and our evening showers.  I did this, writing, as I'm doing now.  Well, not actually but I was spending time with Spirit.

Spirit was top of mind for a short spell, really most of the evening before I crawled into bed.  For even as I was contemplating my next move with the model railroad layout Spirit was with me.

Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is the “Guide of Coins: Seeing the magic in the mundane.  Spiritual fulfillment from nature.  Finding joy in the ordinary” and this is confirmed and supported by the “Ace of Coins: A gift of security.  Starting to build or construct something.  A fertile environment" which itself, is in turn supported by the “Guide of Coins".

What does all this mean?

We are the power and creative force we wish to have in our lives.  How is this possible?  B always being mindful of and respectful of the fact that we are very much a part of this world and without this world, we are nothing, and we cannot exist without it.  We can if we choose harness the great power and energy of Gaia and take those creative thoughts and bring them into reality.  Have no doubt...believe...have a little faith...be the creative force that you are.

Life is such a precious gift that we must not let it all go to waste for naught.  Let's create and build our lives and do what we can to "save the world", if you will.  Be thankful and ever grateful that you got open your eyes this morning.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

The Guide of Coins with a Little Challenge from the 5 of Swords

Tuesday, March 3rd, 2015.  Life is humming along quite nicely.  We're both working, doing well all around and are enjoying our relaxing evenings at home as we did last night.  We're ever thankful and grateful for what we have and where we are in life at the moment.  Could things be better?  Sure but we never expect or ask for more than what we have for far too many in this world are going without.

Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot Card is a repeat from yesterday, the “Guide of Coins: Seeing the magic in the mundane.  Spiritual fulfillment from nature.  Finding joy in the ordinary” with some challenge coming from the “5 of Swords: The Tennis Game.  Being overly competitive.  A game which gets out of hand.  A pattern of always needing to win, or to

I am who I am and have no need to compare myself to others or even worry about what they think of me.  I am my own person and can have my own likes, dislikes, loves, and passions and have no need to explain where I coming from.  I'm connected with the cosmos as we all are and am doing my best to enjoy this wonderful journey known as life.

For most people I'm likely a boring person who enjoys boring things however for me everyday life is a joy to behold.  Wasn't always the case but as I've delved more into Spirit as well as within my true being and identity I understand myself, my place, and my role in life much better today than I did ten years ago, even yesterday.  Each day is full of learning and opportunities as long as we keep our eyes, hearts, and spirits open long enough to take notice of them.

Find acceptance and happiness with what you have and doors will be opened for you, just be willing to look and do you part to see them and most of all walk through them.  Life works with you if you work with it.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

The Guide of Coins and the Man of Cups

Monday, March 2nd, 2015.  Happy Monday!

The weekend was satisfying, fulfilling and a total joy to experience.  I enjoyed the pursuit of my hobby, model railroading, a passion I've had for over forty years.

I piddled around with my layout for most of the day and ideas for my layout even crept into my morning workout yesterday and my dreams last night.  But I'm okay with that as  great ideas come in the strangest of ways so come on ideas...yay!

Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot Card is the “Guide of Coins: Seeing the magic in the mundane.  Spiritual fulfilment from nature.  Finding joy in the ordinary” with some other ideas coming from “Man of Cups: An emotional adventurer.  Tendency to want to emotionally rescue others.  Drawn to emotional crises.”

I'm happy with where I am and with what I have in my life.  Do I need more in my life?  Not really.  The only wish I have is trade my current old RV for a newer van conversion--reason being is that I would like a newer and more streamlined vehicle to cruise around in as I or we go about our little quick get-a-ways out of Vancouver every now and then.

I've been watching a couple of DVD's that feature some Canadian railroads and what a joy it is to be watching them especially the "Cab Ride" along the Canadian Pacific mountain line between Golden and Revelstoke.  The lines of rail mixed with the passing landscape fill me with much peace, love, joy, and serenity.  Seeing this landscape pass by the window of the cab, is a perfect representation of the “Guide of Coins".  This card further solidifies my desire to lead a more mobile lifestyle.

Be one with nature for a spell.   Allow a walk in the park or a stroll along a river, lake, or ocean enchant you and fill you with the spirit of life so you can find true joy and pleasure from the simplistic experience of nature.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

The Man of Swords with a Challenge from the Guide of Coins

Monday, February 23, 2015.  The work week has begun and so the second job is now the focus during the day.  My primary role is that of Wizard Oron - coach, tarot intuitive and chakra advisor which sometimes shares attention with my model railroad when I switch to wearing that hat every now and then.  Speaking of which, it sure got a lot of attention over the weekend.

Thank You Spirit.

Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot Card is the "Man of Swords: A rational, scientific approach.  A thorough investigation” with some challenge coming from the “Guide of Coins: Seeing the magic in the mundane.  Spiritual fulfillment from nature.  Finding joy in the ordinary.”

This is a time for using our minds to being progress into our lives.  We must separate ourselves from the ordinary and mundane world and delve into areas that may be new to us but that require our efforts to get to know and understand them so we can put them into use on our lives.

For instance, I need to learn more about PayPal so I can incorporate this form of payment method into my website.  This brings to mind that I need to learn more about how to work on my website so I can indeed incorporate PayPal into my website.  This is a challenge for me however I need to face it bravely knowing full well that I will learn and grow through this experience and accomplish this task that I need to complete.
I'll then have more time to relish the mundane and ordinary and the wonderful gift of nature.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

Sunday, February 15, 2015

Sunday, February 15th, 2015.  We had a pretty quiet day yesterday.  I hot the gym at 7:30am, returned home, had breakfast, minimally helped to clean up, did a few things with the railroad layout, had lunch, then we hosted a friend for an or so after meeting her for a coffee and a walk.  When she departed we relaxed a little, made and ate dinner then cleaned up and watched the first half of "Boyhood" before turning in for the night.

Thank You Spirit.

This morning I'm off to the gym again.  Then, it's breakfast, our weekly grocery run, lunch, then maybe get together with another friend, dinner, clean up, watch the second half of "Boyhood" then turn in for the night.

Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot Card is the “Guide of Coins: Seeing the magic in the mundane.  Spiritual fulfillment from nature.  Finding joy in the ordinary” with further guidance coming from the “10 of Coins: History.  A knowledge of and appreciation for history.  Seeing your concerns in a larger context.  Seeing your life as a story; who is the author?”

This is all about taking a step back out of the rat race of life and reconnecting with yourself and the real world around you, not the illusion that we as a society have created for ourselves.  This day is about taking back control of our lives and directing our lives into the directions we wish to go.  How to do this?  By reconnecting with the beauty of nature of that lovely world we have so separated ourselves from that we nary give a thought to it anymore.

Hug a tree, let the breeze or wind caress your face, skip and dance through a trail, pick up a handful of dirt and rediscover yourself.  Not the outdoors type then have a conversation with your plants, talk to the bouquet of flowers you received yesterday.  Do your best to get in touch with nature and then start writing a new chapter in your life, write your story the way you want it to be.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

The Youth and Guide of Coins

Wednesday, January 14, 2015.  Another night of fairly decent sleep but awaking feeling a bit stressed about the impending work day ahead.  I've been thrown out of my comfort zone by doing work that I've only done through accompanying another co-worker as they go about their daily routines.  I'm surviving though and this is a good thing.  So awake to the day and get on with doing what is expected of me at the job knowing full well that I am working toward a certain independence and self-responsibility.

Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot Card is the “Youth of Coins: Focusing on the physical.  Beginning a regimen.  Matters relating to nutrition and exercise" with support from the “Guide of Coins: Seeing the magic in the mundane.  Spiritual fulfillment from nature.  Finding joy in the ordinary.”

I've skipped the gym this week as I'm tired and battling a cold that is hanging on and not willing to let go as of yet.  I should get to the gym tomorrow and hit the gym again on the weekend.  Exercise is a nice way to work out the stress and worry of the day and also a great way to start the day.  Additionally, it helps keep us balanced and in good enough physical condition to deal with the what some people refer to as the daily grind of life.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

An Intentional Act

Saturday, December 13th, 2014.  I intentionally skipped writing and blogging yesterday as I was mentally, physically, spiritually, and energetically exhausted from my week at the “job”  I needed to simply come home and do nothing so this is what I did and did it ever feel good to just sit and let the exhaustion melt away.

I’m experiencing firsthand the revolving issues at the company I work at.  A cycle repeats itself there every so often and it’s happening now.  An unsatisfied employee resigned from his position as I mentioned before and the task of taking up his role has fallen onto my shoulders.  Not so bad if I applied for and wanted to take on such a role.  However, I supposed to be focused on customer service and operational issues, not on becoming and being a tech.  I’ve learned from a variety of sources that this same cycle has happened to the previous people in my position.  They’ve all left the company angry and unsatisfied.  Will the same happen to me?

I’m trying to make the best of it and take it one day at a time.  I’ll learn what I can as I do have some technical aptitude to draw upon and will do my best to fill the role as temporary or fulltime as it may be.  The employers are actively searching for a new tech to fill the shoes of the old one.  He is a huge loss for the company a she understood the all of the equipment inside and out and could accurately diagnose a problem from the briefest of descriptions about the issue.

Thank You Spirit.

So I rested for almost two hours and then got on to making dinner and getting on with the rest of the evening where I sat and played around with my model railroad and read some related magazines.  It was a great and satisfying evening.  Just what I needed.

And now this morning after a restful sleep I’ll be off to the gym after finishing this pleasurable activity of Tarot and writing.

Thank You Spirit.

Yesterday’s visiting Tarot Card is “VI The Lovers: A relationship is always a mingling of differences.  A powerful relationship.  Seeing both sides of an issue.  Flexibility” with clarification from the “2 of Swords: Meditation.  Closing your eyes to outer circumstances in order to gain perspective or to avoid a decision.  Refusing to act.”

I have strong and healthy relationship that has really blossomed over the past year through my better understanding of it, me, as well as my willingness to be open-minded and to make compromises.

Today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Ace of Wands: A creative inspiration. The beginning of a project or venture” with support from the “Guide of Coins: Seeing the magic in the mundane.  Spiritual fulfillment from nature.  Finding joy in the ordinary.”

My focus must be on my desired career and allowing it to grow and blossom as I have a great appreciation for and a desire to live a very ordinary and mundane life where I can really seek out and find satisfaction in being closer to nature.  Summer 2015...hhhmm.  This will allow me to be more of a guide to others in changing their own lives through their own strengths and actions.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

The Guide of Coins and the Continuing Visit of the 8 of Swords

Monday, November 10th, 2014.  Had a bout of insomnia last night and spent what likely was a couple of hours tossing and turning.  The alarm awoke me and although not ready to get out of bed I was able to do so and get on with the day.

Tomorrow is “Remembrance Day” here in Canada, a chance for us to remember those who fought for the freedoms we now enjoy.

Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Guide of Coins: Seeing the magic in the mundane.  Spiritual fulfillment from nature.  Finding joy in the ordinary.”  And this is accompanied by the continuing visit of the “8 of Swords: The Crowded Subway. Restriction.  Being trapped by your own biases and prejudices.  Feeling lonely in a crowd.”

I need to wrap myself up in nature’s blanket and allow the beauty and ordinariness of nature and life re-energize and reignite the joy and love that dwells within me.  I seldom if ever find the mundane to be boring.  Quite to the contrary, I love the mundane as it makes my spirit flourish and blossom in ways I find unbelievable and magical.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

The 4 of Wands and Signs of Progress

Saturday, August 2nd, 2014.  I had a decent night’s sleep all likely because today is not a “work” day where I have to get up and drive to a “job”.  However, my nights of sleep are up and down and I’ll live with this until such a time as my debts are paid and full and I can more comfortably jump from a well paying secure job to a more risky self-employment venture.  But I’m willing to make the leap and the wheels are already in motion.

I’ll work toward my self-employment with the launch of a website and new business idea in the coming days and do my best to work as I can for the clients that drop by and seek out my services.  I may have to busy up my evenings and weekends to do it but in the end it is a worthy investment of my time and I’m very happy to do it.

Thank You Spirit.

Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “4 of Wands: Setting the Stage.  Opening night finally arrives.  A venture has been established.  Celebrating initial achievements.”

Progress is being made through compromise, harmony, and balance as well as going with the flow and working with instead of against the abundant spiritual energy that is working in my life these days.  I’m developing a good rhythm and flow of energy at my “job” as well as fleshing out and solidifying my plans and goals for the future through short meditations and dreams.  I’m also paying more attention to life and am much more engaged in sacred awareness and the spiritual experiences that abound each and every day.

Thank You Spirit.

Also, during the shuffling of the cards, the “Guide of Coins: Seeing the magic in the mundane.  Spiritual fulfillment from nature.  Finding joy in the ordinary.” was making his presence known.  Twice, he almost flipped out of the deck as I shuffled it.  The “Guide of Coins” is reminding where I find the most enjoyment in life and in order to bring more harmony and balance into my life I need to keep my focus on the simple and mundane things in life as well as the joy I get from being a part of “nature”.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

The Man of Cups, Guide of Coins, and 7 of Wands

Saturday, April 19th, 2014.  An odd night of dreams but I slept well.  In one I was driving my old RV into my hometown with my eldest brother who passed away many years ago and in another I was living in a van conversion while still working at my present job.  I have a faint recollection of another dream however it’s too hazy for me to put into words how to best describe it—although I think it had to do with nature, a natural formation of some kind.  Could be something like the Devil’s Tower in Wyoming as I was thinking about that briefly, yesterday.

Yesterday was decent day where I ran a couple of errands and made some progress on one of my longest desired hobbies that is finally coming together after many decades of wishful thinking but I had to change scales in order to do it.  Who would of thought, that’s all it would take?  I also did a few home chores and even found time to relax as the day wore on and it was soon evening and time for dinner.  We watched a movie, “The Iron Lady”, a good movie and a great performance by Meryl Streep as always.

Thank You Spirit.

Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Man of Cups: An emotional adventurer.  Tendency to want to emotionally rescue others.  Drawn to emotional crises.”

A day where emotional sensitivity is the feature of the day.  Could involve new flirtations and new love/romance however it can also be a time to be more creative in an existing relationship and re-ignite the love affair that started it all in the first place.  Become more sensitive to your own as well as your partner’s emotions and see the unlimited possibilities and potential to rekindle romance and strengthen your relationship.  But the warning is not to allow yourself to become too sensitive to the emotions of others where you want to fix their problems for them.  Focus more on yourself and your existing relationship first before coming to the rescue of others-be objective and detached don’t let it become your problem.

Today’s visiting Tarot Card brings along with it the “Guide of Coins: Seeing the magic in the mundane.  Spiritual fulfillment from nature.  Finding joy in the ordinary.”

Nurturing, enjoying the ordinariness of simple living.  No need or desire for extreme living or adventures, simply enjoying a mundane lifestyle and appreciating all that I have while living life instead of simply living it.  Confused?

It’s about living with purpose, living with control over one’s life rather than merely reacting to it.  About writing your own story and appreciating your place in life and actively living it rather than moping about and wanting more.  Give to your life, actively live it.  Yes, this can be hard to do and I struggle with it every day however when I actively participate in my life I enjoy each of those days more than any other.  Thursday was like this as was yesterday.  I’m living the life I desire now, am I doing all that I desire to do?  Heck, no!  But I’m living my life with the knowledge that I’ll get to where I want to be soon enough and am simply enjoying the journey before I get there so I’ll do home chores like laundry, dishes, or scrubbing the sink-it’s therapeutic and time to spend with Spirit.

What may come about today is represented by the “7 of Wands: Fighting the wind.  A Quixotic struggle.  Winning against the odds.  Confrontation.”

I’m my own worst enemy when it comes to seeking out and achieving my goals, dreams, and desires.  I’m the biggest opposition I face in terms of living the life I most desire and cherish or that I think I most desire and cherish.  I’ve opened myself to other possibilities and am doing my best to be flexible and as open-minded as possible as t what my life can and has yet to become while still trying to be in the driver’s seat.  Sometimes absolute surrender can be the best choice to make.  Maybe this is what today may bring-absolute surrender to divine wisdom and direction for my life.  Or do I fight for what I believe in, fight to maintain my morals, principles, and ethics.  To fight for what I want my life to be?

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

The Guide of Coins and Embracing Intuitiion, Logic, Desire, and Discipline

Sunday, March 23, 2014.  I had a great birthday day yesterday.  We had breakfast with my brother and some friends, we relaxed at home and then we took in a movie and dinner in downtown Vancouver.  Both the movie and dinner were excellent.  The movie (at the Cinematheque) shall remain unnamed so as not to stir up controversy and dinner was had at “The Templeton”.  Then we came back home, relaxed, and went to bed.  What nice, simple yet great birthday.

Thank You Spirit.

Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Guide of Coins: Seeing the magic in the mundane.  Spiritual fulfillment from nature.  Finding joy in the ordinary.”

Desire is discipline, intuition is logic.  What I mean by that is that we must meet our desires with the discipline needed to achieve them and intuition and logic must go hand-in-hand and work together so we can move forward in the pursuit of our dreams.  This though must also involve balance between work and play; we must learn to develop and maintain a healthy balance in our lives where work does interfere with our personal lives so we can give ourselves time to enjoy living instead of simply living to work.  If we to nurture and empower others we must first nurture and empower ourselves.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

The Guide of Coins and Experiencing the Magic of the Ordinary and Mundane

Wednesday, March 5th, 2014.  I had a decent night’s sleep and the day went fairly well all things considered.  I still have job even though my sales manager had an intense conversation.  But the funny thing is I think that he and the account manager like to play games with the employees under their watch.  So I’ve held my own with each and will play the game for as long as I can and in so far as I do not lose sight of honesty, integrity, and truth.  I will keep Spirit as my highest ideal and work at this company for as long as I can while looking out for better and more meaningful opportunities such as real self-employment that possibly takes me more into working with the spiritual realm as spirit is my real love and passion.

I ended my work day early today to make up for the two hours I spent at a business function on Monday evening and upon arriving home I connected with Spirit for a time and then hit the gym for a workout after a couple of weeks of not going while battling the dreaded common cold.  I feel good even though it was a bit of a struggle.  No worries though as it will get easier as I get back into the swing of things.

Thank You Spirit.

Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Guide of Coins: Seeing the magic in the mundane.  Spiritual fulfillment from nature.  Finding joy in the ordinary.”

I’m not a fancy kind of guy and this card is always so nice to see as I truly do value the ordinary and mundane things in and of life.  I love to read almost everything and anything so books and magazines make up my biggest material collection of things and as it is I’m doing my best to wean myself of both and making use of the technology that allows me to have both books and magazines at my fingertips and almost as many as I want.  For most people my partner and I are pretty boring because we try to keep our lives and home simple and as minimalistic as possible.  We often complain that we have too much and likely we do so we can still divest of the odd possessions here and there.  This is lifestyle and philosophy to adopt as it allows you to enjoy life more as there are very few possessions to weigh you down and then you can get out and enjoy nature more even if it just outside your door.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

Guide of Coins and Living as Spirit

Yesterday was a relatively quiet day.  We didn’t do much of anything at all.  We took a stroll around downtown New Westminster then returned home for a quiet afternoon of relaxation before heading out to celebrate a friend’s 40th birthday with about a dozen other people.  It was very nice.

Actually, a part of my day yesterday was spent re-organizing my crafting space as I’ve decided to build a set of shelves under the table to offer better storage solutions for what I’ve got.  I don’t actually have as much as it looks like I have.  When I took things out of boxes and drawers it adds up to quite a bit but not as much as I was fearing.  The set of drawers I picked up from IKEA a few years back actually takes up more space than what has been stored inside the drawers.  So open concept shelving that is 48 inches wide, 24 inches deep and 28 inches high divided into two will be much better suited to store and hide my “junk” than the drawers.  I’ll pick up few storage containers in order to contain some things more neatly and then put it all away in a far more organized and neat fashion.  In fact I may uses some containers I already have as the paper in them will come out and go the shelves in order to be readily available for use.  So for now I’m good to go, just need to get some plywood cut down to size is all.

Thank You Spirit.

Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Guide of Coins: Seeing the magic in the mundane.  Spiritual fulfillment from nature.  Finding joy in the ordinary.”

The ordinariness of life and immersing myself into nature by walking through forests and meadows and other trails is one of the most satisfying parts of my life.  I need no extra sensory stimulation to excite me or help to pass the time.  I like to be “boring” and truthfully it’s not boring to me at all, quite the opposite.  Life is quite fascinating really as is the human condition.  Especially when we experience life beyond our ordinary senses.

This morning as I sat with Spirit and Tarot I realized and likely for the first time that I as a spiritual being I do not exist because of the physical being I dwell in as it’s more my physical being existing because of my spiritual being.  Try this on for size-experience life through Spirit and prepare to be amazed.  Become a part of what and who you really are instead of remaining separate from it, join nature, rejoin life as it really is and start living again.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

The Guide of Coins and the Gift of Nature

I awoke early enough to get breakfast, make lunch, work with Tarot and write this.  We had a quiet evening last night.  Dinner was wonderful and the pumpkin pie ice cream we forgot in the freezer for some time was delicious.  We watched a bit of telly before letting sleep overtake us and off to bed it was.  Thank You Spirit.

Yes, the simple things in life are what I enjoy most.  Walking to work these past few weeks has been a wonderful spiritual and uplifting experience for me.  As I walk along the street I take in all of the plant, bird, and animal life I see and allow to caress my heart and soul.  Birds serenading the day with their songs, squirrels packing their cheeks with food they will store for a rainy day, cats peering out the windows longing to be outside to chase after the birds and squirrels that will forever remain beyond their reach, dogs taking their owners for one their daily walks and bees buzzing about spreading pollen and collecting it and the nectar each flower brings to feed the hive and spread the gift of life, of nature to the plants within their reach.  Aaahhh, the beauty of nature unfolds before us each and every day we take the time to see and experience it.

Thank You Spirit.

Guide of Coins and Prosperity

Had another quiet day yesterday.  We did our weekly shopping, went out for a coffee but then stayed indoors and filled our day with a few chores, quiet contemplation, reading, and conversation.  A great day that also included wonderful fried rice for dinner and an orange and a bit yogurt with granola and dried blueberries for dessert.  Thank You Spirit.

My prosperity and spiritual fulfillment do come from nature.  Thinking about the diverse life on this wonderful home we call Earth fills me with great joy, love, and spiritual, mental, and emotional well-being.  We are born with the greatest gift that life has to offer and that plain and simply is life, of being alive and able to see, touch, smell and enjoy our surroundings and the diversity that this planet gives us each and every day if we are willing to open our minds, hearts and eyes to see it all.

Thank You Spirit.

Nature, Ordinariness and the Guide of Coins

We had a great day yesterday.  We met up with a new friend and in the morning before taking the rest of the day for ourselves.  I tried my best to relax but have been fervently looking for some old knitting patterns that I thought I had of my Moms but I cannot find them anywhere.  I’m hoping that I did not donate them or throw them away.  That would be just awful.

I had a great night’s sleep and feel like I had wonderful dreams.  I slept with one of my small decks of Tarot Cards under my pillow.  One the most relaxing, peaceful, and loving nights I’ve had sleeping in awhile.

Thank You Spirit.

Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Guide of Coins: Seeing the magic in the mundane.  Spiritual fulfillment from nature.  Finding joy in the ordinary.”  I love being amongst nature and feel great when I can get a sense of nature right here in the city, makes the city become more alive.  I’ve heard what I think is a bird the last couple of mornings I’ve stepped out onto the deck.  I think what I’m hearing is kind of like a simple whistle type sound...I just love hearing it.

Thank You Spirit.
