The Ace of Cups and Renewed Love, Friendship, and Partnership

Wednesday, December 30, 2015.  No blogging since the 24th.  Where have I been?

Busy travelling to and from Portland this past weekend.  We left Christmas Day and came back on Monday.  We stayed in what I believe is the Hawthorne neighbourhood.  A very funky area of Portland with many unique stores (The Gold Door, Moonshadow), restaurants (El Cubo de Cuba, ¿Por Que No?) and independent coffee places.  We watched "Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens" at the Bagdad Theater on the 26th, eating dinner at their restaurant after movie.  On Christmas Day we had great Thai food at "My Thai Bistro".  On the 27th we had some tasty donuts and coffee at Blue Star Donuts--orange and olive oil, raspberry and rosemary, and lemon and poppy seed.  The night before we left we had pizza and beer while watching "The Martian" at the Laurelhurst Theater.

We had two cats, Alistair and Shirley as our hosts as the owner of what I'll say is a bed and breakfast spent Christmas with family out of state.  It was fun having the cats around.  We got in a good fill of cuddles and pet time with them both.

Today's Tarot Energy is the “Ace of Cups: A gift of love.  The beginning of a love affair, friendship, or partnership.”

I awoke from a beautiful dream about my partner and myself and declarations of love and gratefulness.  In fact, I think the entire night of my dreams swirled around our relationship as it was a very beautiful, relaxing, and enlightening night of sleep.

I appreciate this gift of  renewed love, friendship, and partnership I have for my partner, that we have for each other.  It's a great way to end 2015 and ring in the New Year!

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be

'0 The Wanderer' and Shedding Our Old Skin and Our Old Ways

Monday, November 2, 2015.  Another early night as I crawled into bed sometime before 10:00pm and was soundly sleeping throughout the night only to be awoken an hour early before the alarm as I forgot to change the clock in the bedroom that shines on the ceiling and according to it we were sleeping in.  Oops!

And now the work day has come to an end and a theme that played itself last night is continuing this evening.  This is about relaxing, relaxing and not worrying so much about doing things, feeling compelled to have to complete my model railroad...NOW...or having to constantly be thinking about Tarot or spiritual matters...or always thinking about ways to be able to quit my job and somehow become financially independent so I live, work, and travel on the road.  All this worry and franticness at the expense of truly relaxing and enjoying my life.

So last night I spent 90 minutes watching the 'Walking Dead' and thoroughly enjoying myself.

Wow!

How nice it was to just relax and not think about anything.

And tonight as I was getting out of my gym clothes I had this same feeling of needing to learn how to relax.  I can still enjoy my model railroad, work with Tarot and be as spiritual as I want to be and in fact may even be more spiritual through by relaxing.  And on top of all of this if I relax I'll open myself to new possibilities and opportunities and thus find a true and meaningful path and the fulfillment of my dreams, goals, and desires.

I cannot, not live and enjoy life.  I must enjoy and cherish each and every second, minute, hour, day, month and year of my life and there are days where I missed out on living and enjoying my life...no more!

I'm not giving up on anything to do this either.  I'm simply enjoying life and everything I love about life and everything that makes my life enjoyable such as Tarot, Spirit, Model Railroading, RVing, reading books (not just those related to Tarot, Spirit, model railroading and the like), crosswords, and sharing my life and love with my partner as well as with family and friends.

Spirit Is and today's Tarot Energy is "0 The Wanderer: You have come to a junction or turning point in your life.  It may be an unconscious state in which you feel the tide has turned or sense something is going to happen.  In a way it already has.  Your spirit must move on and the desire to leap into the unknown beckons.  This may mean leaving behind or giving up some baggage or burden that you have carried with you from the past.  Now is the time to be clear and not let fear of falling or sad disillusion with the universe hold you back.  Let your imagination carry you into a new set of possibilities.  It is a time to travel hopefully and open your arms to new and challenging aspects of the universe."

I release all of my guilt, anxiety, doubt, fears, and false ideas I have of myself and what I think my future should behind me as I take a leap of faith into the unknown.  I need to shed this facade I've used to cover my true self and free myself from the chains I wrapped around myself that have held me back for too long and all the pre and ill conceived ideas I've had about life, about my life and move on.  Imagination and infinite possibilities await me...it's now my turn to "travel hopefully and open" my "arms to new and challenging aspects of the universe".

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

'0 The Wanderer' and Following Your Heart Into the Future

Monday, October 12th, 2015.  Happy Thanksgiving.  I hope everyone had or will have a great Thanksgiving Celebration and Dinner.

We entertained family and friends yesterday.  A bit of a last minute gathering decided upon our coffee get together Saturday afternoon.  But it turned out very well and each dish received rave reviews: ham, sweet potatoes, carrots, stuffing, salad and even the seemingly much hated brussel sprouts.  The Costco Pumpkin Pie went down well with the good old fashioned homemade whipped cream.

Thank You Spirit.

Crows, crows, crows...crows and my future seemingly go hand in hand.  I'm not exactly what kind of transition took place within me during our travels however what I do know is that the crows we saw along our travels really stood out for me especially as we sat enjoying our coffee and snack at the Tofino Coffee Company where three of four wood carved larger than life crows took roost.  And as today's Tarot Energy revealed itself the first image or word that came to mind...crow or a flock of crows.

And with that, today's Tarot Energy is "0 The Wanderer: You have come to a junction or turning point in your life.

Today is about taking a leap of faith, to follow where your true heart has already gone.  Let your imagination soar and take you into a new world of possibilities and maybe even achieving the impossible.  Don't hold yourself back with fear or doubt.  Take the leap of faith...just do it and let the universe lead the way...cross that rainbow and meet your heart in the future that beckons you.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

'O The Wanderer' and Welcoming Ourselves Into the Future

Look at what I wrote for tomorrow's date: Saturday, September 5th, 2016.  It's off by a couple of days I know as September 5th, 2016 is a Monday however it's what I intended to write after it, that's intriguing.  And that is this, "I'm finally living in my van, Serenity".

A reminder that I need to not merely have goals but also a timeframe in which I expect to achieve them and this is exactly what I'm going to do, which I just did.

I simply was preparing for tomorrow's journal entry...

And now it is Saturday, September 5th, 2015 and I've been awake for about an hour and a half and out of bed for an hour.  I made myself a coffee, now I'm on my second cup, I lit a candle, sat down with my Wildwood Tarot, and then lost myself in the flickering flame of the candle...

...goals came into my mind, images of me living out my dreams filled me with feelings of love and completeness as other images of sitting in Serenity and losing myself in the flickering flame of another candle filled my eyes...Spirit carrying my heart into the future and asking me to take a leap of faith and meet myself there...

Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is "0 The Wanderer: You have come to a junction or turning point in your life.

Yes, the unknown, the unknown future beckons, is calling out to us to take a leap of faith, a leap of faith that is supported by unleashing our imagination and allowing it to release unlimited possibilities that carry us forward, that support our every step.  Thus leading us into the future where a part of us is already there waiting to welcome us to realize what we thought would only remain a dream...

...go ahead take the leap...your future is waiting for you...

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.
