Wednesday, December 31st, 2014. Happy Wednesday and Happy Last Day of 2014.
We had a quiet evening at home last night and a good night of sleep soon followed. I did open my eyes a couple of times over the course of my sleep however I awoke feeling rested, refreshed and ready to get on with the day. I have the day off so I'm more eager to get out of bed.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot Card is the “Ace of Coins: A gift of security. Starting to build or construct something. A fertile environment" with support from the “Sage of Coins: Working with resources rather than trying to control them. A mature appreciation of the natural world. Patience."
If we harness the power of Spirit in our lives we can move forward with success, we adopt success as a state of mind, as a state of being. We must allow ourselves to become the definition of success. This is easily accomplished if we work with rather than try to control the energies around us.
This is a great day to allow success into our lives as the Moon is in Taurus and as it is New Year's Eve, what better way to ring in 2015 than with a success state of mind and well-being?
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The Sage of Wands ad the 4 of Swords
Tuesday, December 30th, 2014. Happy Tuesday!
A great workout at the gym, a decent dinner, a quiet evening, and a hot cup of "Sleepytime" Tea made for a great night's sleep. I actually awoke a few minutes before the alarm. If this had been a Saturday or Sunday I would have leapt out of bed but a work day was ahead so I just laid in wait for the alarm.
Today's visiting Tarot Card is the “Sage of Wands: Wanting to change the world. Changing your environment by winning others over to your viewpoint. Critical acclaim. Politics" with some support from the “4 of Swords: Napping Between Rehearsals. Resting and gathering strength for the next phase. A vacation or “time out”.”
Can any of us take a leadership roles in our lives whether it be at home, on the job, or in some other facet where we can truly make a difference? If we allow ourselves to be guided by Spirit and let our creativity flow perhaps we can use these, our creative talents to bring change t the world. As it has been many times before, if we want change in the world we have to be that change. We through our talents and passions can make positive progress in our lives and the lives of others and make the world a little better, a little brighter, and a little more positive for someone.
Let's be that change however do our best to maintain our strength and energy levels so we can continue to do our positive works through getting plenty of rest and exercise and living healthy, positive lives.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The Youth of Wands
Monday, December 29th, 2014. Happy Monday!
I had a terrible night of sleep last night. I don't think I sleep more than a couple of hours if that. I wanted nothing more than to ignore the alarm and stay in bed, roll over and fall back to sleep. But alas, I had a work day ahead of me so out of bed I got.
Last night was a relaxing evening and I did fall asleep rather well I suppose but perhaps the energy of the evening and the thoughts of Tarot Cards and model trains that I had swirling around in my mind kept me from having a good night's sleep and rest. So I shall see what tonight will bring.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot Card is the “Youth of Wands: Focusing attention on something. Reaching for a goal from a possibly unsteady foundation" with further clarity brought about by the “10 of Wands: The Burden. Responsibilities. Obligations. Overcommitting yourself. Realizing that burdens are a part of life”
I have creative ideas, passions that I working on with an eye toward the independent future that I see the m bringing to me. However, I need to develop a more solid foundation for myself so that I can bring enough individual focus and attention on each of them so that I find success with each of them. I need to pay attention to the energy around me as well as my own and ensure that I'm always in sync with the cosmos so that my energy is always supported by and in support with the universe so that my goals are no longer goals but rather successes.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The 10 of Coins, 10 of Wands and the 4 of Coins
Sunday, December 28th, 2014. Yesterday was an alright day. My partner had a haircut as I waited in the food court in Aberdeen Centre, having lunch and perusing my Tarot Card books as well as a photo of my model railroad layout. My partner soon joined me, had lunch and then we headed out to south Surrey to get a ham for our New Year’s Eve dinner.
Upon returning home I had my hair trimmed then we made our to my brother’s place to join him and an uncle and his girlfriend for a post-Christmas visit, my brother lives in Surrey just fifteen minutes away from us and our uncle and girlfriend live in Vernon, about 5 hours hour away. The visit, conversation and snacking food was as good as always and we all parted company around 10:00pm.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Cards are the “10 of Coins: History. A knowledge of and appreciation for history. Seeing your concerns in a larger context. Seeing your life as a story; who is the author?” and the “10 of Wands: The Burden. Responsibilities. Obligations. Overcommitting yourself. Realizing that burdens are a part of life” with clarification from the “4 of Coins: The Lighting Director. A position of power. Wanting to control how others perceive things.”
As I more and more become the author of my own life I realize that my burdens are of my own doing and not really burdens at all but rather, lessons learned and to be learned. In addition, they are opportunities to grow and blossom spiritually as I understand my place in life as well as the meaning of life as it pertains to me, something that is different for each of us and something that each of us must discover on our own. As I open my mind to the universe and to Spirit the knowledge and understanding I gain opens my mind, eyes, and spirit to the wonders of life, some of which are simple, mundane, and ordinary—things which get lost in the fast-paced lives we live and the constant need to have more and more exciting extrasensory experiences to satisfy our senses.
Go into our collective past, your own past and discover the future. Drop our Smartphone’s, computers, tablets, and game boxes and delve into our minds—places of wonder, open to discovery, and amazing special effects and answers, if we only dare give ourselves the chance to discover them.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

Christmas in Seattle
Saturday, December 27th, 2014. A happy rainy and dark Saturday welcomed us out of bed. After a quick trip down to Seattle we’re back home. After I finished my work day we headed south. The drive was uneventful as was the customs and border crossing. Upon checking into our room we headed out to rustle up some dinner for ourselves if we found any open establishments on Christmas Eve.
Much to our surprise several stores, bars, pubs, and restaurants were open. One such place was Edge of the Circle Books. So in we went so I could browse the store. I love this establishment and as proof of this I walked out of there $60 lighter in the pocket but carrying a new Tarot deck, “Tarot, The Kingdom Within” by Juno Lucina and Shannon ThornFeather and a t-shirt by “The Mountain” company.
After which we looked for food to satiate our hunger and into Charlie’s Bar and Grill we found ourselves going. Was the food awesome, not by a long-shot but it was good and the atmosphere was cozy and the server friendly and a pleasure to interact with.
Soon we were back in our room snuggled up in bed as sleep settled in. Thank You Spirit.
Christmas Eve’s visiting Tarot Card is “X The Wheel of Life: If life on the rim makes you dizzy, move to the centre. Awareness of the cycles of life. Equanimity. A change in fortunes. Guidance from your future or past self” with hints from the “9 of Wands: Don’t mess with me. Defensiveness. Putting up barriers to avoid intimacy.”
Christmas Day’s visiting Tarot Card is “XXI The World: Life can be a heavy burden or a joyful one, it is mostly up to you. Transcending your circumstances by changing them or accepting what can’t be changed” with further hints from the “8 of Swords: The Crowded Subway. Restriction. Being trapped by your own biases and prejudices. Feeling lonely in a crowd.”
Boxing Day’s (December 26th) visiting Tarot Card is the “6 of Cups: Happy Birthday. Fond memories. A gift given in friendship or love” with some hints from the “6 of Coins: Dependence. Resentment because of financial dependence on another. Charity. An unequal relationship.”
Today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Guide of Wands: Feeling possessed by a creative project or inspiration. Being inspired to help others. Doing what’s right” with a hint or two from the “7 of Swords: The Messenger. Carrying your plans through obstacles. Speed is important. Someone brings news or a message. Carelessness.”
The sights, sounds, experiences, and dreams over the last several days leads me to believe that I must do more to change myself so that I have a more powerful and positive impact on the world no matter how small of an impact it may be. I feel really good, more than good really when Spirit is strong in my life and when this is the case I feel that I am radiating out into the world positive and loving energy that permeates the space around me and fills people in the area with hope, love, and optimism. And the great thing is that we can all do this in our own small, little worlds and in fact some of you out there may have a bigger impact than you think. So stand tall, spread your wings and fill the world with love, light, and hope.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The Ace of Wands and the 7 of Cups
Tuesday, December 23rd, 2014. Last evening is a faint memory even though it’s only a mere 24 hours ago. I remember dinner, playing around briefly with my model railroad layout, and flipping through my model railroad magazines however this does not seem to make up an entire evening. However, I slept well even with a quick wake-up or two.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Ace of Wands: A creative inspiration. The beginning of a project or venture” and is tempered by the “7 of Cups: The Bookstore. Choosing between different approaches. Contemplating choices when you should be acting.”
Contemplation is no longer an option as the time for action is now and now is the time I am going to act on my creative inspiration that is leading to a great project and venture. I arrived at this conclusion upon seeing in my inbox an email from a spiritual university regarding meditation, meditation that was on my mind throughout the day yesterday that also inspired many spiritual thoughts throughout my workday today.
An epiphany perhaps or a serendipitous and/or synchronistic happening that leads me to believe that spirit is the way to live a unique and productive life.
Thank You Spirit.

The 2 of Coins and the Ace of Swords
Monday, December 22nd, 2014. Another day of sleep and active dreams. The night was a lot longer than I expected it to be. My dreams were eye-opening, educational and encouraging as Spirit’s presence was with me throughout the night.
Last night we made a jaunt down to our local favourite Greek restaurant to celebrate for the third year in a row and at the same restaurant, our friend’s birthday. The food as always was good. The restaurant being close and it being a workday today we made it home early enough to relax and unwind for the evening before hitting the bed.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “2 of Coins: Tai Chi. Flexibility. “Going with the flow”. Living in tune with your environment” that is tempered by the “Ace of Swords: An idea. Starting to develop a plan or strategy.”
Both the “2 of Coins” and the “Ace of Swords” have meaning for me today. My dreams being such as they were emphasized my need to be more in tune with Spirit and Nature through working more with Tarot and my Chakras as well as by taking and making time to meditate. In one dream I was crying and crying out over the lack of Spirit in my life; in another I was...I lost the memory of the other couple I dreams I had...darn...
But these dreams along with a news piece that just aired make me well aware that I need to build a stronger spiritual life for myself and focus much more attention on this side of my life now and where I believe I need to go to make my life even more spiritually strong and fulfilling.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

XVII The Star with Clarification from XIII Death
Sunday, December 21, 2014. Merry Yule. Happy Winter Solstice.
Since, I’m living in Canada’s most moderate and tropical climate I’m exposed to the more expressed changes of the seasons and I find that I miss the cold, crispness of fall and winter. We had a brief spell of cold weather and snow here in Vancouver back in November but it’s too short-lived. All the same though I enjoy living in the city of Vancouver regardless of the weather.
Last night we finally parted ways with an old mirror we had. A friend dropped by for a short visit as well as pick up the mirror. Yesterday morning I went out shopping so I could bake a Cranberry Upside Down cake for another friend’s Winter Celebration. I delivered it in the early evening/late afternoon and stayed for a spell and quick visit before returning home to my sick partner. The weather was miserable and traffic much too busy for my liking so I was less than pleased be out and about in such conditions. Then it was a wonderful dinner and quiet evening.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is “XVII The Star: Spirit is Real. Hope. Serenity. Clarity. Having faith in an underlying or overlying spirit. A dream becomes real” with further emphasis from “XIII Death: Endings are beginnings. A phase of life is over. Allowing time to mourn. A part of yourself has outlived its usefulness.”
Allowing ourselves to be connected with and filled with Spirit allows us to always have clarity of mind, a path to follow and the understanding and love necessary to allow us always maintain harmony with Spirit as well as be flexible and open-minded enough to deal with the realities of life and the external influences that life throws at us.
Spirit allows us to be pliable enough so that we shed the unnecessary from our lives so we maintain a freshness of spirit and energy about us so we can move through life on an even keel. We can manage the ups and downs of everyday living with love and grace of Spirit by our side so we can be a beacon of light, hope, and love in the world.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The Man of Coins, Youth of Coins, Youth of Wands, and XIX The Sun
Saturday, December 20, 2014. The weekend has arrived. The work week seemed to be running long and then suddenly it’s over. I like that.
I’ve actually had a pretty decent few weeks at work all in all and I’m becoming more comfortable and confident about my new and seemingly ever changing position there.
Last night we had dinner with friends and made new friends as they as hosts also invited a couple of friends that we had not me yet. Dinner was as great as the conversation and the wine that freely flowed. The night drifted by and soon the clock hands were pointing at midnight, it was time to head home. We crawled into bed some time after 1:00am.
Thank you Spirit.
Spirit Is and Friday’s visiting Tarot Card is “Man of Coins: Responsible and hard-working. Reliable. Dependable” with support from the “Youth of Coins: Focusing on the physical. Beginning a regimen. Matters relating to nutrition and exercise.”
Today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Youth of Wands: Focusing attention on something. Reaching for a goal from a possibly unsteady foundation” with clarification from “XIX The Sun: The best moments in life are rooted in the ordinary. Contentment. Optimism. Ordinariness. Satisfaction from a job well done. Familiarity.”
Hard work, dependability, and reliability bring success. These also bring into focus the path we have laid out before ourselves. However, we must walk down this path with a sure footing so we can enjoy the journey. My journey is simple and ordinary and brings me much contentment and satisfaction and I also find that my work-a-day is easier for me to handle.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The 2 of Coins and the 8 of Wands
Thursday, December 18th, 2014. We had another quiet evening at home and another decent night of sleep was had. I love, oddly enough, awaking to the alarm. Of course, this can only be said when it’s a work day otherwise, I prefer to awake on my own schedule.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “2 of Coins: Tai Chi. Flexibility. “Going with the flow”. Living in tune with your environment” with further enlightenment from the “8 of Wands: Movement. Everything is falling into place. People or circumstances are aligning to facilitate the achievement of your goals. Matters are rapidly reaching a conclusion. A group combines their energies while maintaining individuality.”
As I, as we all go with the flow and work in and maintain harmony with the universe, with the cosmos we will see positive and significant movement in our lives—movement toward goals, objectives, and bringing other matters to positive conclusions.
I’m finding myself more at peace and more clear about where I am and the things that I need to do in life. I’m more content and happy and able to put more effort into moving forward with all that matters to me.
Life doesn’t always have to be, nor should it be a constant struggle. Life is not easy and is often quite tough however we can relate better to life if we find way to gain a more positive attitude and outlook on and about life.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

Blessed Be.

Youth of swords and the Ace of Swords
Wednesday, December 17th, 2014. Another night of peaceful and restful sleep. A sleep filled with healing, renewal, intuition, education, and love. This was pre-empted by an evening of conversation and learning about being focused and dedicated to my passions and achieving them.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Youth of Swords: Curiosity. Research. Computers, e-mail. Immature communication. Spying (or "hacking")” with further support from the “Ace of Swords: An idea. Starting to develop a plan or strategy.”
The important message here is to use my curiosity to further research and develop the direction of my life and where I want to take it. This all a result of ideas that are coming to mind as I continue to think about each daily visiting Tarot Card and the intuitive signs that come to light throughout the day.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The Ace of Wands and IV The Emperor
Tuesday, December 16th, 2014. We had a quiet evening at home and then in bed a bit earlier than usual and a night of sleep welcomed us. I slept well and actually could have slept longer if the alarm had not sounded but all is well.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Ace of Wands: A creative inspiration. The beginning of a project or venture” and this guidance is further clarified by “IV The Emperor: Sometimes one must be a benevolent despot. Organization. Taking charge. An authority figure. Utilizing discipline to provide a structure for creativity.”
The “Ace of Wands” appeared a few days ago and is appearing again as I have not really delved into the creative inspiration I had then. I’m being reminded that that inspiration is something I must follow through with. As far as I remember is pursuing a new idea with my model railroad layout and then the other is to focus on my spiritual pursuits. Ah, yes, my spiritual pursuits and the launching of my website. As “IV The Emperor” is advising me to do, I need to bring more discipline into my home life here so that I can get on with my projects that matter most to me. I need to develop a schedule so I’m more structured and focused on these things and continue to move them forward and make them an active part of my life.
Thank You Spirit.

The Man of Cups and IX The Hermit
Monday, December 15th, 2014. I slept well last night and felt as if the night was dragging on a little too long as I awoke a couple of times wondering why the alarm hadn’t gone off yet. I finally looked at the time and it was around 4:45am. Thankfully, I fell back to sleep and then the alarm finally sounded at 6:00am.
Maybe it was the good company, great dinner, and uplifting conversation we had with a friend we shared time with. We also watched “Despicable Me 2”. What a laugh we got from that movie.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Man of Cups: An emotional adventurer. Tendency to want to emotionally rescue others. Drawn to emotional crises” with extra advice being offered by “IX The Hermit: To fully understand something, sometimes you must escape it. Gaining perspective. Solitude. Study.”
To truly balance our emotions and maintain stability in our emotional lives we need to spend some alone time in deep meditation so we can better understand ourselves and how we relate to the rest of the world so we remain balanced and objective. We need to delve into Spirit and rely on Spirit to keep our energy levels strong and healthy so we don’t really rescue others but rather offer them the guidance and support they need to work through whatever crisis is intertwined in their lives at the moment.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The 6 of Cups Tempered by the 9 of Wands
Sunday, December 14th, 2014. We had a nice visit with my partner’s former co-worker/friend and his family. The meal was great and was accompanied by some fine local wines and beautiful conversations. We made our way home, relaxed a bit, and then climbed into bed.
A beautiful morning welcomed me as I made my way out of bed. After a quick meditation with Spirit and Tarot I made my way to the gym. I enjoyed another early morning workout before returning home and having a nice breakfast and another wonderful cafe con leche.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “6 of Cups: Happy Birthday. Fond memories. A gift given in friendship or love” and is tempered by the “9 of Wands: Don’t mess with me. Defensiveness. Putting up barriers to avoid intimacy.”
A good relationship is one where each of us has freedom and independence that comes about through love, trust, faith, and honesty. If we believe in our relationships and have built them up on a solid foundation of love freedom and independence within the relationship are the greatest gifts we can give to one another otherwise we will fall into the trap of building up barriers and always being defensive.
Thank You Spirit.

An Intentional Act
Saturday, December 13th, 2014. I intentionally skipped writing and blogging yesterday as I was mentally, physically, spiritually, and energetically exhausted from my week at the “job” I needed to simply come home and do nothing so this is what I did and did it ever feel good to just sit and let the exhaustion melt away.
I’m experiencing firsthand the revolving issues at the company I work at. A cycle repeats itself there every so often and it’s happening now. An unsatisfied employee resigned from his position as I mentioned before and the task of taking up his role has fallen onto my shoulders. Not so bad if I applied for and wanted to take on such a role. However, I supposed to be focused on customer service and operational issues, not on becoming and being a tech. I’ve learned from a variety of sources that this same cycle has happened to the previous people in my position. They’ve all left the company angry and unsatisfied. Will the same happen to me?
I’m trying to make the best of it and take it one day at a time. I’ll learn what I can as I do have some technical aptitude to draw upon and will do my best to fill the role as temporary or fulltime as it may be. The employers are actively searching for a new tech to fill the shoes of the old one. He is a huge loss for the company a she understood the all of the equipment inside and out and could accurately diagnose a problem from the briefest of descriptions about the issue.
Thank You Spirit.
So I rested for almost two hours and then got on to making dinner and getting on with the rest of the evening where I sat and played around with my model railroad and read some related magazines. It was a great and satisfying evening. Just what I needed.
And now this morning after a restful sleep I’ll be off to the gym after finishing this pleasurable activity of Tarot and writing.
Thank You Spirit.
Yesterday’s visiting Tarot Card is “VI The Lovers: A relationship is always a mingling of differences. A powerful relationship. Seeing both sides of an issue. Flexibility” with clarification from the “2 of Swords: Meditation. Closing your eyes to outer circumstances in order to gain perspective or to avoid a decision. Refusing to act.”
I have strong and healthy relationship that has really blossomed over the past year through my better understanding of it, me, as well as my willingness to be open-minded and to make compromises.
Today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Ace of Wands: A creative inspiration. The beginning of a project or venture” with support from the “Guide of Coins: Seeing the magic in the mundane. Spiritual fulfillment from nature. Finding joy in the ordinary.”
My focus must be on my desired career and allowing it to grow and blossom as I have a great appreciation for and a desire to live a very ordinary and mundane life where I can really seek out and find satisfaction in being closer to nature. Summer 2015...hhhmm. This will allow me to be more of a guide to others in changing their own lives through their own strengths and actions.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The 9 of Coins and the Man of Swords
Thursday, December 11th, 2014. What a beautiful night of sleep I had last night. I thought I awoke to use the bathroom but I fell back to sleep so quickly it is only but a faint memory that I’m not sure is real or not. The alarm awoke us and it being my old phone it acted up this morning and I struggled to turn it off.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “9 of Coins: Rewards. Enjoying the fruits of your labour. Well-deserved enjoyment” tempered by the Man of Swords: A rational, scientific approach. A thorough investigation.”
Work has become a challenge as of yesterday as an employee has given notice that they are resigning from their position, their last day being December 24th. I’ve been given the task to learn that soon to be vacant position as well as do a thousand other jobs that fall under my title and job description. My stress level is a thousand times higher than it was yesterday morning. Thankfully going to gym and maintaining a healthy diet will keep me sane and balanced as I focus on my relationship with Spirit and the cosmos.
However, I also understand that by taking a step back and looking at the situation honestly and through objective eyes I will be able to move forward in a straightforward manner and weather this difficult and stressful time for not only myself but also the company I work for as well as my fellow employees.
Thank You Spirit.

XVIII The Monn and the Guide of Swords
Wednesday, December 10th, 2014. Another restful night was had and then it was time to get up and out of bed and allow the morning welcome us to the day. Last evening was quiet as usual and another day for me to hit the gym. Today will be a day of rest after three days in a row. Then right back at it tomorrow.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is “XVIII The Moon: Sexuality pulls us into a different, non-rational world which is sometimes frightening, always creative. A sense of mystery. Creative ideas which gestate in the subconscious. Sexuality or sex” with some hints from the “Guide of Swords: A wider perspective. Altruistic thoughts. Messages from the higher self.”
I’m feeling at a loss as to what to write here. I’m trying to draw from what for now is a blank mind. No thoughts, feelings, or tidbits of information are floating through my mind regarding either “XVIII The Moon” or the “Guide of Swords”. This is not the first time this has happened either so I’ll leave it for now.
Now that several minutes have gone by I realized that the creativity I’m experiencing surrounds my model railroad layout and the track plan I’ve adopted. I may need to add to it by adding another switch or two. Where the sexuality comes into play, I’m for now at a loss to put more thought or words to such an idea.
Well, generically speaking I suppose that we should be open and willing to explore our sexuality and see where it leads us. Within reason, of course. Perhaps, this is a way for us to open ourselves up to the creativity and wanderlust of Spirit.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

XIV Temperance and the 6 of Cups
Tuesday, December 9th, 2014. I slept quite well however my eyes feel and seem to get quite tired by the time the afternoon rolls around. And if I happen to awake at some point during the night that is close to the alarm I seem not to get into a deep sleep even if I do not notice the time.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is “XIV Temperance: Mix things up a little. Combining separate elements to create something new. Moderation (not too much of each flavour). Flexibility” with a hint of energy from the “6 of Cups: Happy Birthday. Fond memories. A gift given in friendship or love.”
With our spirituality as our focus we can find a way to incorporate many opposites into our lives. And I have sort of seen the light so-to-speak as I understand that I can have my spirituality, my passions, and work life and create and maintain balance between all of them. One such passion is living life on the road. I can continue to do some research into a suitable vehicle such as a van conversion then make a decision to buy or not and move forward. Such a vehicle will provide us with the flexibility to do short, medium, and long-term road trips.
Another passion is my spirituality that incorporates Tarot, Chakra work, and Wicca. I can continue to be spiritual and focus on my spirituality and allow this to be my centre and work out from there at my job and other areas of my life.
Thank you Spirit.
Blessed Be.

7 of Wands and V The Priest
Monday, December 8th, 2014. We had a nice busy weekend. Yesterday we hosted a friend for dinner that by the way turned out better than expected—Santa Fe Chilli topped off with sour cream and cheddar cheese. We cheated and picked up a blueberry pie and vanilla ice cream from a couple of our local grocers. And sleep was good even with awaking around 5:00am.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “7 of Wands: Fighting the wind. A Quixotic struggle. Winning against the odds. Confrontation” with added meaning added by V The Priest: The best way to help others is to help them make their own decisions. Wisdom. Advice. A ceremony or ritual.”
Although, we may face difficulties and difficult decisions in life each of us often have the knowledge and resources necessary to make good decisions. Our decisions must be firm and unwavering so we can move on and continue to work cooperatively with Spirit. And an added bonus is that most of us also have a great support network of family, friends, and loved ones that will stand behind us or even guide us to make our decisions through much thought and foresight.
So let’s muster the strength, courage, and faith to make unwavering decisions that help us turn the corner and move ahead in life.
Thank You Spirit.

3 of Swords and 9 of Wands
Sunday, December 7th, 2014. We had a busy day yesterday once we got under way with our errands. The rain was not too bothersome but it does slightly dampen our enjoyment of being downtown for a part of the day`. We picked our new style of progressive lens and they sure our different than the old pair I had. It’s called an office lens or something similar where the main focus of the lens is to keep things that are within about six feet in focus, the top of the lens is for distance, and the lower portion for reading. I think I’m doing okay with them this morning however I am in almost total darkness. We also did our weekly grocery shopping as we are hosting a friend for dinner. Then our late afternoon/evening was spent at my brothers place celebrating his new home as well as celebrating the holidays early with him and his many other friends.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “3 of Swords: The Wreckage. Feeling heavy-hearted after an emotional storm. Feeling hurt or betrayed” along with the “9 of Wands: Don’t mess with me. Defensiveness. Putting up barriers to avoid intimacy.”
These two cards sure go hand-in-hand. Sometimes I’m my own victim of my runaway thoughts that go places that are from reality and the truth. So these cards are reminders to take a step back and look from the outside in to see what kind of relationships we really have and just how great of an impact they have on our lives. In my case it is better than what I sometimes see especially if I come home flustered or upset over events of the day that have nothing to do with my home life. I have a good and solid relationship and we are in a very good place.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The 4 of Wands Tempered by the 7 of Cups
Saturday, December 6th. Enjoy the Long Nights (Full) Moon. We walked over to the store for a jug of milk last night and on the way home the clear skies allowed us a glorious view of the moon, what a sight. Seeing the majestic moon in the sky always fills me great energy and fills my heart with love and joy.
We enjoyed a quiet evening at home where my partner read, I flipped through my model railroad magazines, and played around with my new phone. The night was relaxing and fulfilling.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “4 of Wands: Setting the Stage. Opening night finally arrives. A venture has been established. Celebrating initial achievements” and is challenged by the 7 of Cups: The Bookstore. Choosing between different approaches. Contemplating choices when you should be acting.”
The time has come where a decision or decisions must be made. We can no longer waste time waffling or sitting on the fence, it’s time to decide. This is my life, it is your life, so what are we going to do with our lives?
For me it’s time to launch my new website and more fully co-operate with the cosmos. I need to fulfill my purpose and actively participate in my life and this new website is a good way for me to do it. I’ve spent much too much time building and the setting the stage and contemplating what it will be like when I finally do things my way. The time to act is now and I need to trust in Spirit, trust in myself and move forward with courage, confidence, and the knowing that success is possible if I only dare step into the future and my dreams.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

I The Magician and XI Strength

Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is I The Magician: To live fully, one must create a life, not merely react to it. Creativity. Ability. Making something happen.”, further supported by “XI Strength: Directing your passions, rather than suppressing them, is the key. Finding healthy outlets for powerful energies.”
It can sometimes take a lot of work and a whole lot of time to discover who we are so we can then create the lives we truly want not lives fabricated out of too many external influences and misdirected ideas. Most of us glide through life either on autopilot or by allowing ourselves to be tossed around here and there by what society throws at us. We must stop the insanity and toss out this nonsense and become our own unique selves by truly creating our own masterpiece, ourselves.
I’m important enough to this world to be me and to guide my own life rather than allow it to be guided by others. The best way I can do this is to spend the time and expend the energy necessary to discover who I am and what I truly wish to be and truly wish to do with my life. In fact I’ve already done this and am doing my best with minor tweaks here and there to create my own life. One way I’ve done this is by taking responsibility for my life and all that I’ve done with my life to this point. Secondly, I’ve created a timeline as to how long it will take me to get where I want to be. One part of this is to be debt free and I shall be in twelve months or less.
Discover yourself, create a plan, write it down, execute your plan, be flexible, don’t give up and create your life.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The 9 of Coins and VIII Justice
Thursday, December 4th, 2014. I had another almost sleepless night. I did fall back to sleep however I also kept awaking every now and then while sometimes thinking I was not going to hear the alarm since I picked up a new Smartphone last night. But I think I’ll just use the old phone as my alarm and leave the new one alone.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “9 of Coins: Rewards. Enjoying the fruits of your labour. Well-deserved enjoyment.”, with support from VIII Justice: Even today, gays can be the victims of “justice”. An unfair judgment. Being too judgmental or righteous. Feeling restricted by others’ expectations.”
As I contemplate these cards I get a sense that enjoying the fruits of our labour is relative to our understanding of our individual lives and how we fit into the world and our understanding of the meaning of life. The meaning of life is in my opinion different for each of us—just a little something to keep in mind. I also believe that we can further enjoy our efforts and how we move through life by being more lighthearted and less worried about other people’s lives—live and let be, with exceptions, of course.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The 8 of Cups and 6 of Swords
Wednesday, December 3rd, 2014. I had somewhat of a sleepless night. I’m not sure at what time I awoke but from that point until the alarm I hardly slept a wink and if I did it was a very conscious sleep.
I wanted to sleep in today but alas a work day is a day where sleeping in is not recommended. I did get up and get on with the day but I did on occasion wish to be back home and in bed.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “8 of Cups: Farewell. Moving on. Leaving behind a person, a situation, or a part of yourself.”, complemented by the “6 of Swords: Peaceful Recovery. Serenity and the passage of time help to heal wounds. Stormy emotions are given time to subside, allowing a plan for a solution.”
As I contemplate these cards I get the sense that moving on allows one to recover from a once hectic and emotionally charged lifestyle. This could be a deep and inward change only or perhaps relocating by simply moving across the city or into an entirely new city. But change and saying farewell to our old selves is what is needed. Bad habits, a poor attitude, pessimistic thinking, or a beaten spirit must be taken care of where our spirit is renewed and allowed to soar to new heights. Believe in and have faith in yourself and move in harmony with the universe and let your voice be heard.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

Man of Coins Complemented by the XXI The World
Tuesday, December 2, 2014. We had another quiet evening at home last night. I browsed through my model railroading magazines as well as piddled around with my model railroad layout. We then watched the news before we were off to bed and at least for me, fast asleep.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Man of Coins: Responsible and hard-working. Reliable. Dependable.”, complemented by “XXI The World: Life can be a heavy burden or a joyful one, it is mostly up to you. Transcending your circumstances by changing them or accepting what can’t be changed.”
As I move forward with my plans and goals I see a clear path laid out before me where I know what I need to do to get to where I want to be. This involves focus and determination as well as a lot of hard work where I’m not only responsible but also take responsibility for my actions. This requires both reliability and dependability.
This needs to be a natural part of our being and can be through understanding life and how we can move through life where much of what goes on is controlled by each of us as individuals—quit externalizing and take a long hard look in the mirror and see the person responsible for your life reflected back at you.
Thank You Spirit.

The 8 of Coins Complemented by XI Strength
Sunday, November 30th, 2014. The year’s end is fast approaching and it seems likely it hardly started not long ago. 2014 has been a year that moved at warp speed.
We met a new neighbour yesterday and sat and chatted with him over coffee. Seems like a decent enough fellow, we’ll likely connect with him again over dinner. We also drove out to south Surrey so I could pick up a couple of model railroad items I ordered some time ago. These orders come through every three or four months, perfect timing for me. Then before getting onto our dinner plans we made a quick run over to Home Depot so we can build our laundry cabinet. The evening snuck by us though as dinner was close to 9:00pm. A busy day!
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “8 of Coins: The Factory. Skill and mastery. Tedious, repetitive labour. Slow and methodical progress.”, complemented by “XI Strength: Directing your passions, rather than suppressing them, is the key. Finding healthy outlets for powerful energies.”
Since, I am, we are moving forward with some projects around the house (condo) I/we are being reminded to take a slow and methodical approach in our efforts so we avoid making mistakes and end with very good results. Some of this will involve deconstructing an existing cabinet and revamping it to make a new cabinet more suitable cabinet for my model railroad to sit on. This new cabinet will be on wheels so I can move it around providing me with the ability to work around the layout without having to lean and stretch over it to reach what is now the back of the layout.
I’m also reminded to work carefully with my many projects and passions and do so in harmony with the powerful energies that swirl around, through, and within me so that I remain in control and positively focused on creating the best environment for myself as well as those around me.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The 2 of Coins Complemented by the 7 of Coins
Saturday, November 29th, 2014. We had another quite and serene evening at home. Both of us doing a whole lot of nothing and then discovering it was time for bed. Sure I read a little, took a couple of measurements for a new handmade cabinet in the laundry area, as well as pushed a boxcar around my model railroad track but that was minutes out of hours. I and I think I can even say we quite enjoyed our lazy evening at home.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “2 of Coins: Tai Chi. Flexibility. “Going with the flow”. Living in tune with your environment.”, with a complementary visit from the “7 of Coins: Chores. Resting after a job well done. Contemplating life's cycles and changes. Planning your next move. Clearing out what's unnecessary in your life to make way for something new.”
Harmony, balance, tranquility, calm, serenity, serendipity, synchronicity are thoughts and feelings that come to mind when I think about the “2 of Coins”. Life has a certain feeling of peace and calm to it and this is re-enforced by the “7 of Coins”.
Not only do we need to work toward a balanced state in our lives, we need to be the balanced state in our lives. Allow feelings of peace, calm, and love be states of being in our lives so they are enmeshed into every atom of our being and every single breath we take.
Thank You Spirit.

Youth of Cups with Support from the Man of Cups
Friday, November 28th, 2014. We had another simple evening at home. Dinner was had and we watched a bit of TV and then I read a couple entries from one of my favourite blogs as well as browse through my Model Railroader magazine then off to bed it was for around 10:45pm. I awoke a few times the last being around 5:37 but I had a restful sleep and even though I only had another 23 minutes to sleep before the alarm I fell back into a deep sleep.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Youth of Cups: Youthful emotions. Daydreaming. Shyness.”, with support from the “Man of Cups: An emotional adventurer. Tendency to want to emotionally rescue others. Drawn to emotional crises.”
Emotions, creativity and a renewed focus are the messages of this day. I refocused my energy and efforts on my short, medium and long-term plans with renewed emotions and understanding of my desires and goals and what it will emotionally entail when I realize my goals. I may strike out on my own but I’ve accepted that this will be necessary and is only a new facet of and an expansion of my relationship.
Work over this past week has been hectic and draining but I transcended this drain of energy as well as the chaotic week by going to the gym to refocus and energize myself through a good solid workout three times this week.
Thank You Spirit.

The 3 of Coins
Thursday, November 27th, 2014. I awoke early and got on with my day instead of waiting for the alarm at 6:00am. I had coffee, breakfast, made our sandwiches and put all of the clean dishes away and still had time to get dressed, brush my teeth and get off to work on time.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “3 of Coins: A child’s room. Creating a positive environment for someone. Work done for the pleasure of it.”
The best way to create a great environment is to change ourselves. For instance, if we have a rough day we have choices as to how to handle the day and overcome the negative energy that may accompany us home. We can turn to food, drink, anger or conflict and allow that negative energy to take control. Or we can meditate or go to the gym and release that negative energy and breathe in the positive energy of spirit as we exercise our bodies and/or calm and clear our minds.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The 3 of Wands and Paying Attention to Progress
Wednesday, November 26th, 2014. I had a very decent night’s sleep likely because I had some Celestial Seasonings Sleepytime Vanilla Tea. My mind was relaxed as were my dreams not that I really remember any but I awoke sleepy yet well-rested. Odd but true!
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “3 of Wands: Leaving the nest. Seeing progress. Something or someone you have nurtured must now strike out on their own.”, and this is accompanied by “VIII Justice: Even today, gays can be the victims of “justice”. An unfair judgment. Being too judgemental or righteous. Feeling restricted by others’ expectations.”
Life is movement and we must always be prepared to let things go and move at their own pace and on their own journey. At times we may not realize what we have nurtured that has blossomed and struck out on its own until we see it just out of reach. This is a call to pay attention and appreciate all that we have in life and all of the many things, projects, and goals that we’re working on that may have developed a life of their own. This may even includes ourselves so look in the mirror, pay attention, and actively participate in your life.
Thank You Spirit.

The 6 of Cups and X The Wheel of Life with Support
Tuesday, November 25th, 2014. Another unexpected day’s hiatus from writing and blogging after a surprise visit from a friend and dinner out.
I slept well last night and have been sleeping for many a night and also having some strange and often active dreams.
Monday’s visiting Tarot Card is the “6 of Cups: Happy Birthday. Fond memories. A gift given in friendship or love.” with assistance from “XVII The Star: Spirit is Real. Hope. Serenity. Clarity. Having faith in an underlying or overlying spirit. A dream becomes real.”
Love is the best gift of all and I willingly give and receive it to the best of my abilities.
Today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “X The Wheel of Life: If life on the rim makes you dizzy, move to the centre. Awareness of the cycles of life. Equanimity. A change in fortunes. Guidance from your future or past self. “ and comes with support from the “7 of Coins: Chores. Resting after a job well done. Contemplating life's cycles and changes. Planning your next move. Clearing out what's unnecessary in your life to make way for something new.”
I live with purpose, go with the flow, and adapt as need be. I like the slower pace of life and as such spend more time at home and doing a whole lot of nothing. Don’t get me wrong as I do go out and about but do so with purpose. I go to the gym, we go out and enjoy a meal or two, we do things that create experiences more than anything else.
I, as we should all try to do is enjoy and appreciate life and awaking each day to enjoy life for another day. I appreciate my job, the income I earn, the residence I (we) live in, the food we eat, the clean water that comes out of our taps, and the relative safe environment we live in and I even appreciate the weather as rainy as it may be.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

XXI The World with an Appearance by the 4 of Swords
Sunday, November 23rd, 2014. We had our downtown Vancouver outing yesterday as we went for our every two year eye exams. My eyes are slightly worse but healthy. We didn’t do much other than window shop as we strolled along a couple of our favourite streets. Oh, I did make a purchase of beard oil and moustache wax since I sporting both these days. Other than that we had a quiet evening at home.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is “XXI The World: Life can be a heavy burden or a joyful one, it is mostly up to you. Transcending your circumstances by changing them or accepting what can’t be changed.” with an appearance by the “4 of Swords: Napping Between Rehearsals. Resting and gathering strength for the next phase. A vacation or “time out”.”
Our lives are often a reflection of ourselves and as such, my life, my world is a joyful one. And my weekends are like mini vacations not that I hate my job so much as it is that I’d like to be working at or in a more “spiritual” enterprise.
Thank You Spirit.

XIX The Sun, Sage of Cups, Youth of Wands, and 10 of Cups
Saturday, November 22nd, 2014. I’ve had a good week all around so far. The work week was full of learning and educational and sometimes eye opening experiences. I’ve been sleeping rather well and I’m getting back into the groove exercising more regularly as well as focusing my attention on my passions.
Thank You Spirit.
Last night we hosted friends for dinner. There were eight of us who enjoyed great food and great conversations. Our salad, lasagne, and coconut flan with autumn fruit compote received rave reviews.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and yesterday’s visiting Tarot Card is “XIX The Sun: The best moments in life are rooted in the ordinary. Contentment. Optimism. Ordinariness. Satisfaction from a job well done. Familiarity.” The “Sage of Cups: Emotional maturity. A good mediator or counsellor.” came along in a supporting role.
My life is familiar, ordinary, simple, comfortable, and quite content.
Today’s visiting Tarot Card is “Youth of Wands: Focusing attention on something. Reaching for a goal from a possibly unsteady foundation.” The “10 of Cups: The Ideal. Your secret dreams. Attainment. Unrealistic, wishful thinking.” tempers the strength of the “Youth of Wands” today.
When I focus attention on my various projects/passions/or what have you I need to ensure that I’m not taking myself off the solid foundation I’ve been building for myself over the past eight to twelve months. I need a slow and steady pace where I stop and check to see the progress I’m making and whether or not I’m still on solid ground. I must also ensure that I’m beyond wishful thinking and working toward realistic goals and targets.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

Youth of Wands and the Sage Cups
Thursday, November 20th, 2014. I had a decent night sleep and awoke with the alarm although I do think I was slight conscious when it sounded. We made our way out of bed and did our usual morning routine. Coffee, breakfast and also Tarot Cards for me.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Youth of Wands: Focusing attention on something. Reaching for a goal from a possibly unsteady foundation.” with clarification coming from the “Sage of Cups: Emotional maturity. A good mediator or counsellor.”
My attention these days is somewhat out of focus I would have to say. Not having the computer threw me off and my attention so out of whack because of my increased responsibilities at work as well as my desire to pursue my model railroading hobby as well as focus on Tarot and getting my new website up and running. Luckily, I have good support from my partner and my family and have a good working relationship going with my employer.
Also, my many years of experience in school, work, and life has taught me to be objective than I realize so I’m able to look at things without a lot of emotional attachment to them.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

An Unexpected Hiatus
Wednesday, November 19th, 2014. I had an unexpected hiatus from my daily writing and blogging routine thanks to a computer failure that was apparently brought about through an unknown virus. A few computers in the neighbourhood supposedly caught this same virus. Quite odd!
I missed the whole writing and blogging affair that I’ve been doing over the past several years. I’m glad to be back in the writing groove once more.
Thank You Spirit.
Friday, November 14th saw “VIII Justice: Even today, gays can be the victims of “justice”. An unfair judgment. Being too judgemental or righteous. Feeling restricted by others’ expectations.” and “XII The Hanged Man: Living in the moment. Being fully absorbed in the present. Nonattachment to goals. Seeing things from a new angle.” visit.
Saturday, November 15th, 2014. Happy 10th Anniversary to my partner and myself.
Saturday, November 15th saw “XVI Revelation: While it is usually best to tell the truth about yourself to those who are close to you, it can be a painful experience. A necessary destruction of the status quo. Having to tell someone an unwelcome truth. A new idea which upsets others.” and “0 The Fool: Accepting and exploring one's sexual identity is a journey of self-discovery. Beginning a new and exciting venture. Going beyond the limits of social convention. A non-conformist.” visit.
Sunday, November 16th saw “XVI Revelation: While it is usually best to tell the truth about yourself to those who are close to you, it can be a painful experience. A necessary destruction of the status quo. Having to tell someone an unwelcome truth. A new idea which upsets others.” and the “7 of Wands: Fighting the wind. A Quixotic struggle. Winning against the odds. Confrontation.” visit.
Monday, November 17th saw “VI The Lovers: A relationship is always a mingling of differences. A powerful relationship. Seeing both sides of an issue. Flexibility.” and the “4 of Cups: The Audition. A new opportunity or choice presents itself. Everything hangs in the balance. Nervousness, excitement.” visit.
Tuesday, November 18th saw the “9 of Wands: Don’t mess with me. Defensiveness. Putting up barriers to avoid intimacy.” and “VIII Justice: Even today, gays can be the victims of “justice”. An unfair judgment. Being too judgemental or righteous. Feeling restricted by others’ expectations.” visit.
And today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “9 of Coins: Rewards. Enjoying the fruits of your labour. Well-deserved enjoyment.” along with the “Guide of Wands: Feeling possessed by a creative project or inspiration. Being inspired to help others. Doing what’s right.”
These past several days have been filled with happiness, love, hope, opportunities and much more. I’ve learned al lot about myself by being more involved in my job and more committed to and focused on my relationship and what it means to be sharing my life with someone else.
I’ve uncovered and revealed the truth about myself to myself and feel good about it. Life is a gift and a joy to be experiencing and I appreciate all that I’ve experienced and gone through regardless of how I felt several days ago.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

Man of Cups and VIII Justice
Thursday, November 13th, 2014. A quiet evening at home where a whole lot was not done. I didn’t do a lot other than go to the gym and make a simple dinner. Another fairly decent night of sleep and some mildly active dreams. A quieter night of sleep, thankfully and the alarm is how I awoke.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Man of Cups: An emotional adventurer. Tendency to want to emotionally rescue others. Drawn to emotional crises.” “VIII Justice: Even today, gays can be the victims of “justice”. An unfair judgment. Being too judgemental or righteous. Feeling restricted by others’ expectations.”, is also visiting today.
I must keep my emotions in check and become a completely loving person where love and peace are states of being and fill every atom of my being. I must be the very concept of “zen” inside and out.
Namaste.
Meditate. Become at peace with yourself through discovering and getting to know yourself. Find a way to become whole and complete. Be aware of your emotions and the emotions of others however be weary of allowing emotions free reign in your life. Let your own expectations of yourself guide you and be open-minded and objective and do your best to never judge another.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

V The Priest and the 8 of Cups
Wednesday, November 12th, 2014. We had a slow start to the day then headed out to our friends place for a lunch of waffles, bacon, and sausage. We strolled along False Creek to the Main Street Skytrain Station where we hopped aboard a train and headed home. I slept rather well then active dreams popped up as the alarm drew near. I was likely in a semi-conscious state as I was aware but asleep at the same time, if this makes any sense at all.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is “V The Priest: The best way to help others is to help them make their own decisions. Wisdom. Advice. A ceremony or ritual.” And along for a bit of clarification is the “8 of Cups: Farewell. Moving on. Leaving behind a person, a situation, or a part of yourself.”
I see these cards as a sign that if we help others even ourselves learn how to and that we can make decisions and good decisions at that we’ll learn how to move on and break free of things that may be holding us back. We may be faced with a hard decision or two but we must learn that we have to stand up on our own two feet, make decisions on our own and know that we are strong enough to handle the outcome of such decisions knowing that we made them to the best of our abilities and the information at hand.
Thank You Spirit.

XI Strength and the 9 of Wands
Tuesday, November 11, 2014. Lest we forget. Remembrance Day in Canada – may man discover peace in his heart so we can see and bring peace into the world.
We had a quiet evening at home. Being at peace with ourselves and the lives we lead. We appreciate and give value to and thanks for the simplicity of our lives. We chase after nothing for everything we need comes from within and in being in harmony with Spirit and nature.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is “XI Strength: Directing your passions, rather than suppressing them, is the key. Finding healthy outlets for powerful energies.” And as a reminder to vigilant, the “9 of Wands: Don’t mess with me. Defensiveness. Putting up barriers to avoid intimacy.”
As we discover and get to know ourselves we find our centres where peace and love dwell. As we focus on the very core of our beings we work in harmony with Spirit and nature and become welcoming to the purity of energy that brings opportunities into our lives.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The Guide of Coins and the Continuing Visit of the 8 of Swords
Monday, November 10th, 2014. Had a bout of insomnia last night and spent what likely was a couple of hours tossing and turning. The alarm awoke me and although not ready to get out of bed I was able to do so and get on with the day.
Tomorrow is “Remembrance Day” here in Canada, a chance for us to remember those who fought for the freedoms we now enjoy.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Guide of Coins: Seeing the magic in the mundane. Spiritual fulfillment from nature. Finding joy in the ordinary.” And this is accompanied by the continuing visit of the “8 of Swords: The Crowded Subway. Restriction. Being trapped by your own biases and prejudices. Feeling lonely in a crowd.”
I need to wrap myself up in nature’s blanket and allow the beauty and ordinariness of nature and life re-energize and reignite the joy and love that dwells within me. I seldom if ever find the mundane to be boring. Quite to the contrary, I love the mundane as it makes my spirit flourish and blossom in ways I find unbelievable and magical.
Thank You Spirit.

The 8 of Swords Accompanied by XVII The Star
Sunday, November 9th, 2014. We ran a few errands yesterday before returning home. Upon our return home we proceeded to change the window coverings for our patio door. We had drapes and now have paper panels from IKEA. They break up the dark heaviness of the remaining drapes in the living/dining area.
Then we had a relaxing evening of watching a bit of television, programs about nature before going to bed. I slept rather well however, I again awoke early. On the weekends though, I do enjoy my early mornings. I keep the lights off and work by the dim light of the morning as dusk gives way to dawn and the flickering flame of the gas fireplace.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “8 of Swords: The Crowded Subway. Restriction. Being trapped by your own biases and prejudices. Feeling lonely in a crowd.” And the “8 of Swords” is accompanied by “XVII The Star: Spirit is Real. Hope. Serenity. Clarity. Having faith in an underlying or overlying spirit. A dream becomes real.”
With faith and confidence I move ahead and find my own path. Working in harmony with Spirit as well as wrapping myself up with the pure love of Spirit and in knowing that I have the love and support of those I hold close to my heart I walk on a solid footing and reach my goals surrounded by the surety of Spirit.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The Ace of Cups and 2 of Swords
November 8, 2014. I’m learning more about the operations and customer service side of my new role in operations at the workplace. My role became more defined this week which has allowed me to come to an understanding of my role in the company and how I can try to move forward in this position. It requires a high degree of flexibility as well as strong shoulders in order to withstand some of the garbage that is likely to be thrown my way in the coming days and months.
We spent a quiet Friday evening at home as we most often do and had more chat time and a bit of TV time, watching our local mayoral debate on the local cable channel. It was more energetic and lively than we were expecting.
I slept well and awoke early as I expected.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Ace of Cups: A gift of love. The beginning of a love affair, friendship, or partnership.” And in a supporting role is the “2 of Swords: Meditation. Closing your eyes to outer circumstances in order to gain perspective or to avoid a decision. Refusing to act.”
Decisions have to made and some decisions are harder to make because of the enormous impact they have on our lives and sometimes more importantly in the lives of those we love and care about. But decisions have to be made. With the “Ace of Cups”, I see that any decision should be made with love in mind and this could also be an indicator that the decision could be influenced by, if this is the right word, a new person entering our lives. Not that we want others to be making our decisions for us however this person may bring more clarity into our lives that will allow us to make a more informed decision.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The 10 of Cups and IV The Emperor
Friday, November 7th, 2014. Another decent night of sleep and another alarm bringing me out of my slumber. Thank You Spirit.
We had a quiet evening at home and spent much of our time chatting and watching a couple of our favourite programs, The Rick Mercer Report and This Hour Has 22 Minutes. Funny and Canadian to boot!
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “10 of Cups: The Ideal. Your secret dreams. Attainment. Unrealistic, wishful thinking.” And the card offering further clarification is “IV The Emperor: Sometimes one must be a benevolent despot. Organization. Taking charge. An authority figure. Utilizing discipline to provide a structure for creativity.”
The realization of my ideals and the coming out of my secret dreams is only realized through organization and discipline. I need to fully take charge of my life and move forward with my ideas, beliefs, goals, and active participation in my life.
We must take charge of our lives and understand and appreciate that we are, barring unforeseen circumstances solely responsible for our lives. We have control over our lives if we wish to take on such authority and responsibility and have the courage to come out of the closet and pursue of secret dreams and ideals.
Thank you Spirit.

O The Fool and II The Intuitive
Thursday, November 6th, 2014. Another night of sleep that seems longer than normal yet comfortably so. I slept well even while awaking early and getting some morning ritual completed early, then crawling back into bed and falling back to sleep and being surprised again by the alarm.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is “0 The Fool: Accepting and exploring one's sexual identity is a journey of self-discovery. Beginning a new and exciting venture. Going beyond the limits of social convention. A non-conformist.” And not surprising, “II The Intuitive: To be true to oneself, one must know oneself. Looking within for answers. Meditation. Intuition. Exploring that which is normally hidden.” is the card on the bottom of the deck.
When looking at these two card I see that I need to look within, truthfully so and come to an understanding of who I am and where I need to go in life, in how to move forward and fulfill my purpose. A couple of things stand out for me and that is the significant appearance of the “crow” and the “clover” plant in my life this week. Also, the realization that my new career and related website need to be rolled out as quickly as possible, very much before the end of the year.
Thank You Spirit.

V The Priest and VIII Justice and Coming to Decisions
Wednesday, November 5th, 2014. Sleep was fantastic last night. I did awake briefly for a bathroom break or so I remember but the next thing I know I was just becoming consciousness when the alarm sounded. What a nice way to awake. The only better way to awake is to awake when I awake without the help or interruption of an alarm. Soon this may be more than a wish a simply the way it is.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot card is “V The Priest: The best way to help others is to help them make their own decisions. Wisdom. Advice. A ceremony or ritual.”, with support from “VIII Justice: Even today, gays can be the victims of “justice”. An unfair judgment. Being too judgemental or righteous. Feeling restricted by others’ expectations.”
To best move ahead and away from feeling restricted by living up to or for others’ expectations is to learn to make own decisions through research and gaining as information as I can in order to the most educated decision I can. A reminder that launching my website is solely up to me and I need to gather more information in order to make the decision to launch my new website. As well I need to do the same when it comes to making a decision about purchasing a used but new to me van conversion.
Thank You Spirit.

The 5 of Swords with a Hint of the Ace of Swords
Tuesday, November 4th, 2014. We had another quiet evening last night. We really didn’t do much not even watch TV. I flipped through a model railroad magazine and that was about it. Oh, I browsed a couple of sites looking at van conversions, then it was off to bed early.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “5 of Swords: The Tennis Game. Being overly competitive. A game which gets out of hand. A pattern of always needing to win, or to lose.”, and as a supporting card is the “Ace of Swords: An idea. Starting to develop a plan or strategy.”
These cards are reminders for me to keep from falling into the trap of competitive behavior as competitiveness is not always a healthy thing as winning or losing is not all life is about. In addition, I need to be keep from always developing new ideas and instead focus my energy on existing plans and strategies and modifying them as necessary in order to move smoothly into my new career and financially independence.
Thank You Spirit.

XXI The World with Support from XII The Hanged Man
Monday, November 3rd, 2014. So much for gaining an hour of sleep; I think I lost about three between awaking early yesterday and getting to be much later than I’d hoped last night. We had friends over for dinner and they left around 10:30 so by the time we cleaned a little bit it was after 11 by the time we crawled into bed. Then I awoke at some point and couldn’t get back to sleep and tossed and turned for many hours until the alarm sounded. No worries.
I’m alive for another day and the weekend was a pretty darned good one overall so all is good. A good dinner with friends and more wonderful conversation made for a good end to the weekend.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is “XXI The World: Life can be a heavy burden or a joyful one, it is mostly up to you. Transcending your circumstances by changing them or accepting what can’t be changed.”
We often get hung on the least important aspects of life such as material possessions, worrying about keeping up with the Jones’ and trying to live to meet others expectations. Doing this makes life more of a burden than a joyful one. Yes, life can be difficult however many a time we can make changes that will allow us to move beyond minor inconveniences that should be of concern to us.
The “XII The Hanged Man: Living in the moment. Being fully absorbed in the present. Nonattachment to goals. Seeing things from a new angle.”, is a reminder to us to live in the moment, to pay attention to the here and now and what is right front of eyes. Goals are real, and although important we must be open-minded and flexible enough to adapt to new ways of achieving our goals or adapting our goals in ways that may change them slightly but still remain important enough for us to chase after them.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The 3 of Cups also with a Visit from the Sage of Wands
Sunday, November 2nd, 2014. A relatively quiet day yesterday and a bit disappointing as our new washer and dryer could not be installed yesterday. But we survived that minor inconvenience and just moved along with other more fun activities. I tinkered around with my model railroad.
Spirit is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “3 of Cups: A Good Time. Happy, comfortable times together. Quiet enjoyment. Celebration.”, with support from the “Sage of Wands: Wanting to change the world. Changing your environment by winning others over to your viewpoint. Critical acclaim. Politics.”
A nice reminder to enjoy the simple things as well as the simplicity that life can offer when we are tune with ourselves and work in harmony with Spirit. Not always easy to do but some days are just simple and filled with simplicity and worthy of quiet enjoyment and fulfilled happiness.
When we are tune with ourselves and with Spirit others are more easily inclined to be on our side “so-to-speak”. They’re more comfortable with who we are and how we think as we communicate with them and extend ourselves through the unifying spirit of all that we are.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

I The Magician with Support from XIX The Sun
Saturday, November 1st, 2014. All Saints Day.
“SATURDAY (SATURN): Longevity, exorcism, endings, homes, and houses.”
“PISCES: The focus is on dreaming, nostalgia, intuition , and psychic impressions. A good
time for spiritual or philanthropic activities.”
Yesterday was a more relaxing work day and we had a quiet evening at home. I celebrated Samhain by simply being me for the day and doing my best to keep Spirit and my connection to the spiritual world top of mind.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is “I The Magician: To live fully, one must create a life, not merely react to it. Creativity. Ability. Making something happen.”, with full support from “XIX The Sun: The best moments in life are rooted in the ordinary. Contentment. Optimism. Ordinariness. Satisfaction from a job well done. Familiarity.”
I live and participate in life instead of sitting on the sidelines watching it go by. I live for myself as best as I can and in so doing choose to live a simple and ordinary life. A boring life by some standards I suppose but it’s my life and I’m living it my way, for the most part.
Since I decided to live my life more me than for others my life has improved. My life feels full and complete. I have no desire for material goods or material gain. The more active I become in my life the more control I have over it and the simpler my life becomes. All of this comes through my connection with the Divine. I’ve done my best to eliminate want, need, and greed from my life and all the better I feel as this allows me to fully embrace my spirit.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

Blessed Samhain - The Man of Wands with Support from the 10 of Wands
Friday, October 31st, 2014. Blessed Samhain. Happy Halloween.
I had another decent night’s sleep surprisingly so as we had a friend over for a simple dinner of spaghetti and meatballs. The food was good, the conversation even better and we’ll be entertaining a couple of more friends on Sunday.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Man of Wands: Someone who likes problems, and/or thrives on unstable or dangerous situations. “The Establishment”. Keeping the peace.” And the supporting card is the “10 of Wands: The Burden. Responsibilities. Obligations. Overcommitting yourself. Realizing that burdens are a part of life.”
Balanced thought combined with insightful action will keep us from making mistakes and creating more harmony in our lives. This allows us then to find more constructive avenues to fulfill our needs for adrenalin rushes every now and then. We have what it takes to give 100% and be fully committed to any project we tackle.
Thank You Spirit.

The 10 of Cups and the Ace of Coins
Wednesday, October 29th, 2014. Another night of good sleep. When I awoke I knew the sound of alarm was not too far away. However, the alarm did awake me from my light sleep. Thank You Spirit.
I again piddled around with my model railroad last night and flipped through a couple of my model railroading magazines as I try to firm up ideas I have for my layout. I’m trying to get a good visual of what I want my mountain scene to look like.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “10 of Cups: The Ideal. Your secret dreams. Attainment. Unrealistic, wishful thinking.”, with support from the “Ace of Coins: A gift of security. Starting to build or construct something. A fertile environment.”
These two cards are reminders that my life is on a very good footing and life is humming along quite nicely, a happy go-lucky kind of day-to-day goings on. I’m continuing to build on the security I have in my life by accepting myself, my role in life, and through being flexible and open-minded about the timing of my dreams transforming into reality.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The 8 of Cups with Support From the 9 of Cups
Tuesday, October 28th, 2014. Another quiet evening at home last night and another decent night’s sleep. I did piddle around my model railroad layout for a bit and just moving a few things around here and there gave it the “raw” look I was looking for that made look more like a layout that can become the model railroad empire I desire to build.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “8 of Cups: Farewell. Moving on. Leaving behind a person, a situation, or a part of yourself.”, and the supporting card of the day is the “9 of Cups: Serendipity. Satisfaction. Everything is going well.”
I need to strive to leave my judgmental tendencies behind me as everything is going fairly well for the most part and will definitely get better when I leave my last bit of lingering negativity behind me. Additionally, I’ll even improve my health in terms of having more time, energy, and desire to go the gym increasing my visits from three to five days a week. Heck, maybe I can even have my hair grow back!
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The Sage of Swords with Support From the Guide of Swords
Monday, October 27, 2014. We had a productive day yesterday, groceries were picked up and I did some work on my model railroad layout. We also worked on retrofitting our kitchen with new cabinets through Home Depot’s Virtual Kitchen program they use. I also had a decent night’s sleep that felt extraordinarily long and was glad to be awoken by the alarm albeit from a semiconscious dream state.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Sage of Swords: Making a mature, informed decision. Being too judgmental. Mediating a dispute.”, and the supporting card is the “Guide of Swords: A wider perspective. Altruistic thoughts. Messages from the higher self.”
The best way for any of us to make mature, informed decisions is to keep others in mind through altruistic thoughts and continued connections with the higher self. We best do this through a state of mind where our hearts our open and we approach all through our spirit to theirs.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The 6 of Coins, Being Thankful and Embracing the Future
Sunday, October 26th, 2014. Yesterday was one of those days where flexibility and compromise were the words and actions of the day. My plans for the day were simple. I’d buy a single piece of lumber and get to work on expanding my model railroad layout table. Well, I got the piece of lumber as we ran another errand putting together ideas for new kitchen cabinets and picking up tickets for a concert in the evening. So I simply succeeded in getting the piece of wood cut down to size and that was it.
We went to see Diego El Cigala perform at the Chan Centre for the Performing Arts. Even though I do not understand a whole lot of Spanish, I thoroughly enjoyed this concert. The words may have been in a foreign language but his voice and the music ignited my heart and soul.
I slept quite well and dozed likely for the last couple of hours I was in bed and my dreams were occurring in a semi-conscious state, I’d have to say.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “6 of Coins: Dependence. Resentment because of financial dependence on another. Charity. An unequal relationship.”
I’m gratefully employed and paying down my debt. My dreamed about future is unfolding before me and I see a clear path ahead. I know where I’m going. I’ve embraced my future. I’m gaining and have gained my independence. A little more ways to go and I’ll be a true and honest of refection of the “me” that I’ve hidden away for far too long.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

XVI Revelation and Revealing Our Warts to Ourselves
Saturday, October 25th, 2014. I didn’t sleep terribly well last night and awoke early but I always like to get up early on the weekends so I can some good solid alone time with Spirit and Tarot. This morning I have a candle burning and incense smoking and Spirit abounds. I’ve communed and meditated in my own way and now I sit here enjoying a coffee as I write about Tarot.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is “XVI Revelation: While it is usually best to tell the truth about yourself to those who are close to you, it can be a painful experience. A necessary destruction of the status quo. Having to tell someone an unwelcome truth. A new idea which upsets others.”
And I love and accept myself for all that I am, warts and all. I’m me and I’m at my best when I behave like me. I’m guided by Spirit and love and this motivates me to be my best and one of the best ways to do this is to be the real me. I’m happiest when I do things that make other people and I do these things because I love to do them. The world then becomes a happier place.
Although, many people find my charming and likeable they also tend to see my abrasiveness but are always won over by my charm, witty smile and great energy.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

Ace of Wands, the Ace of Swords and the Roadmap Becoming Clear
Friday, October 24th, 2014. I didn’t sleep as well as the night before however I only awoke briefly at some point during the night and then several minutes before the alarm so all is good. And it was easy to crawl out of bed and get on with the day.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Ace of Wands: A creative inspiration. The beginning of a project or venture.”
I guess that since I’ve gone through the website tutorial and am more active with my model railroad I’m more inspired and eager to continue on with each of these projects. Moving forward and making progress is the creative inspiration and the active beginning of my new career and long dreamed about hobby.
As well, the “Ace of Swords: An idea. Starting to develop a plan or strategy.” appears on the bottom of the deck and had some resonance for me. My plans, my dreams are becoming more firm and taking significant shape in my mind and I’m catching glimpses of the roadmap I must take to continue to move forward on this path.
Thank You Spirit.

9 of Cups and celebrating This Day
Thursday, October 23rd, 2014. I had a fantastic sleep last night. I somewhat awoke but was real only awakened by the alarm. Loved it, did not stir once throughout the night. Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “9 of Cups: Serendipity. Satisfaction. Everything is going well.”
A new website, a new career, traveling in a van conversion and enjoying the sights and sounds of Canada and the USA—what a wonderful dream to turn into reality. This day is about celebrating your success however big or small it may be. Celebrate you and your life. Celebrate the fact that you awoke and got out of bed today. Life is a gift to love and appreciate and this is a day that should remind us of this fact and let’s make it a great by showing our love for the world and those around us.
Thank You Spirit.

XX Beyond Judgement and Liberating Ourselves Through Ourselves
Wednesday, October 22nd, 2014. I had a decent night’s sleep even though I spent a period of time laying awake with some worry about work and hobby matters. The alarm surprised me yet again.
Today’s visiting Tarot Card is “XX Beyond Judgement: Self-acceptance must come before liberation. Freedom from others’ expectations. Trying to make conditions better for others. Altruism. Pride. Self-acceptance.”
I must as all of us must do and that is to not allow others to control our lives and more importantly, our thoughts and feelings about ourselves. The more in-tune we are with ourselves the more liberated we are and the more able we are to make the world a better place for those around us.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The Ace of Coins and Building on a Solid Foundation
Tuesday, October 21st, 2014. I had a great night’s sleep and was quite disappointed when the alarm sounded and pulled me from my deep and very valuable REM sleep. I really wanted to stay in bed. I dragged myself out of bed and got on with the morning.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Ace of Coins: A gift of security. Starting to build or construct something. A fertile environment.”
Thoughts are changing. My thoughts are more comfortable when I find myself thinking about my new career. I’m likely to break out in my new career sometime this winter. I’ve got a solid foundation on which to build myself a successful career as I’m working at a stable job and in a very strong and supportive relationship. My gym routine and eating habits are quite healthy and moving along nicely.
Thank You Spirit.

The 7 of Coins and Rolling Along
Monday, October 20th, 2014. Another day, a work day has come and gone and the evening is unfolding at a nice pace. Dinner has been eaten, showers completed and the relaxation has begun. This even though I had a terrible night’s sleep.
The work day was not as bad as anticipated and we survived the day that was quite calm and relaxing for the most part. We had a few service calls to complete and a few orders had to go out “ASAP” but other than that the day rolled along very smoothly.
Thank You Spirit.
As I awoke with the alarm I quickly moved into a quick meditation and communion with Tarot working with Tarot after getting the coffee going and taking care of other morning duties and rituals. Today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “7 of Coins: Chores. Resting after a job well done. Contemplating life's cycles and changes. Planning your next move. Clearing out what's unnecessary in your life to make way for something new.”
This is a reminder to not forget and to put into practice what I learned in the morning about managing, editing, and maintaining my new website. With this I can finally cast away the old worn out ideas that no longer work in my life and embrace instead the present and future that is today and the experiences of tomorrow.
And as soon as I’ve completed a few edits and changes to my new website I’ll post a link to it here.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The 6 of Coins
Saturday, October 18th, 2014. We stayed up a little later than usual to catch a news story and I then found that I slept in this morning by about fifteen minutes. How exciting!
I realized this morning that for the right reasons and for something I enjoy doing I’m an early riser and willing to commit seven days a week to doing what I love to do. More than that is the also the realization that I know more than I thought I did about Tarot, the symbols of the Zodiac as well as the meanings for each day of the week.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “6 of Coins: Dependence. Resentment because of financial dependence on another. Charity. An unequal relationship.”
The “6 of Coins”, a nice little reminder to be thankful for all that I have and the opportunities that this provides me with. Having a stable, well-paying job helps to pay off my debts as well as build up my bank account and allows me to pursue a childhood hobby as well as work toward a new career. Being in a relationship where I do not have to worry so much about living expenses as my partner takes care of those frees me up to take care of the home and prepare meals that we both enjoy.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be

Blessed Be

The Sage of Wands and 4 of Wands
Friday, October 17th, 2014. I slept well but awoke about 20 minutes before the alarm. Somehow, I know that the sound of the alarm is not too far away so I cannot drift back to sleep as much as I’d want to. No worries.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Sage of Wands: Wanting to change the world. Changing your environment by winning others over to your viewpoint. Critical acclaim. Politics.”, and the supporting card is the “4 of Wands: Setting the Stage. Opening night finally arrives. A venture has been established. Celebrating initial achievements.”
I’m doing well at work and also in understanding, appreciating and believing in myself and the new career direction I’m taking. I’ve rediscovered and am maintaining my connection to the cosmos and keeping myself grounded and energized by all that is. Spirit is alive and well and I cherish my sacred awareness and spiritual experiences. My skills and talents are shining displays of Spirit in life and for this I am eternally grateful.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.
