Sunday, December 7th, 2014. We had a busy day yesterday once we got under way with our errands. The rain was not too bothersome but it does slightly dampen our enjoyment of being downtown for a part of the day`. We picked our new style of progressive lens and they sure our different than the old pair I had. It’s called an office lens or something similar where the main focus of the lens is to keep things that are within about six feet in focus, the top of the lens is for distance, and the lower portion for reading. I think I’m doing okay with them this morning however I am in almost total darkness. We also did our weekly grocery shopping as we are hosting a friend for dinner. Then our late afternoon/evening was spent at my brothers place celebrating his new home as well as celebrating the holidays early with him and his many other friends.

Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “3 of Swords: The Wreckage. Feeling heavy-hearted after an emotional storm. Feeling hurt or betrayed” along with the “9 of Wands: Don’t mess with me. Defensiveness. Putting up barriers to avoid intimacy.”
These two cards sure go hand-in-hand. Sometimes I’m my own victim of my runaway thoughts that go places that are from reality and the truth. So these cards are reminders to take a step back and look from the outside in to see what kind of relationships we really have and just how great of an impact they have on our lives. In my case it is better than what I sometimes see especially if I come home flustered or upset over events of the day that have nothing to do with my home life. I have a good and solid relationship and we are in a very good place.
