The "Guide of Wands" and Having Real Conversations

Out with a friend this evening who is travelling in the few days and will be away during our birthdays so she treated us to early birthday dinners.  The same will happen tomorrow evening with another friend.

Slept rather well I think last night and awoke a few minutes before the alarm so I tried to meditate a little, stumbled along but will get better each time I try a pre-totally awake and getting out of bed meditation.

Spirit Is and today's Gay Tarot Energy is the “Guide of Wands: Feeling possessed by a creative project or inspiration.  Being inspired to help others.  Doing what’s right."
"Being inspired to help others" and "Doing what’s right" is always on my mind these days.  This is why I'm doing what I can to follow my spiritual calling and offer my Intuitive Tarot services.  I know that I can have a positive impact on people's lives by having a conversation with them through the gift and world of Spirit and Tarot.  I feel my absolute best when I have a conversation with someone where that person is doing most of the talking and genuinely feeling that their words are finally being heard and have legitimacy.  Most of the times I've conversations such as this the person has answered his or her own questions.  And I find this very therapeutic and not only for them but for myself too!

Thank You Spirit for awakening me to my spiritual calling.

The 'Guide of Wands', 'VIII Justice' and the 'Two of Coins'

Thursday, May 26th, 2016.  I'm in charge at the job so my days have been rather trying and stressful not always because they are that but because I worry so much about getting everything done that needs to be done on any given day and today was no different.  But I survived and the company survived another day under my leadership or lack thereof.  I'm not all that keen with being in charge.  I simply don't like taking on the responsibility of managing someone else's business.  I'd rather leave that responsibility to them or to someone else and solely be responsible for myself.  It's deeply humbling that they entrust me with such responsibility but I'd still rather not be in such a position even if they paid me more.  And more pay sure would be nice.

I hit the gym after work and even though I returned to the office after taking care of some customers feeling and obviously looking tired that tiredness was mostly gone by the time I got home and walked over to the gym.  But when I returned home the air and energy in our place felt heavy so I sprayed some "Sacred White Sage Body and Room Spray" by Essential Oil Techniques around.  What a difference.  The air and energy were light, bright, and refreshing--just what I needed.

I awoke tired this morning, maybe from the dream or dreams I was having throughout the night.  The one I remember was kind of odd to me as in it, we were in another condo tower that was fully constructed, not a particularly high floor but the building was swaying.  However before being a part of that scene I was in the bowels of building watch a construction pound large metal pylons into the ground in an effort to stop the building from swaying.  The dream came to a quick halt when the alarm serenaded us.  I almost fell back to sleep.

I had a hard time working with Spirit and Tarot this morning as I had a hard time shaking off the sleepy state I was in so I struggled through it and the “Guide of Wands: Feeling possessed by a creative project or inspiration.  Being inspired to help others.  Doing what’s right" is today's Gay Tarot Energy.

And now that I have this card in front of me I'm vaguely remembering another dream or two that I had last night where I was indeed helping others, doing what's right for all, operating out of my van.  I have an inkling that these dreams are a prelude of things to come...

And the creative project I have in mind, if you can call it that, is paying off my debts through finding new sources of income, new income streams that will provide me with the means to do this quicker and more efficiently so I'm paying the bank and credit card companies excessive amounts of interest...Spirit, Tarot, mystical research and chakras...a quick glance at a news headline reminded me not to forget about balancing my chakras...something exciting to do on the weekend...

Thank You Spirit.

Namaste.

Wednesday, May 25th, 2016.  Was nice to hit the gym after work yesterday, missed one exercise as the lat pull down was busy.  I'm sure I can do it the next time, likely tomorrow.

We had a relaxing evening I guess can't really remember doing anything in particular so I guess it was one of those evening that slowly disappeared into a sleep filled night.

Spirit Is and today's Gay Tarot Energy is both “VIII Justice: Even today, gays can be the victims of “justice”.  An unfair judgment.  Being too judgemental or righteous.  Feeling restricted by others’ expectations” and the “2 of Coins: Tai Chi.  Flexibility.  “Going with the flow”.  Living in tune with your environment.

This happened quite randomly as they both flew out the deck as I was shuffling and getting ready to cut the deck three times as I do each and every day and most times a card leaps from the deck I accept it as the card of the day.

I need to be more flexible and do a much a better job of living in tune with my environment.  One area I need to focus on is paying more attention to my partner by being more engaged and actively listening to what he is saying as well as to be actually engaged in our conversation.  Another area I need to pay attention to is daily living by being more engaged in my day-to-day activities--present moment awareness!

Being flexible and paying more attention to my environment will guard against me feeling so restricted or hampered by others' expectations of me.  I'll do a better job of communicating with others and getting my points across in a more effective and meaningful manner.  And this will not only benefit me as it will open the lines of communication and shed light on areas that need to be discussed instead of leaving them in the shadows.

Got to sign off here as we just returned home and its almost time to crawl into bed.

Thank You Spirit.

Namaste.

A Whirlwind Trip to Quesnel, a 16th Birthday Celebration and Great Food Along the Way

Tuesday, May 24th, 2016.  We've been to Quesnel and back and I fully enjoyed the trip and especially spending time in Serenity.  Staying in the van on my own during the evening felt fantastic and very refreshing and uplifting.

We finally got underway Saturday morning slightly after 9:00am as I slept in (And Saturday's Gay Tarot Energy, the “Guide of Cups: Messages from your heart.  Altruism.”) and was nowhere near ready to leave when my brother arrived at 8am but we arrived in Quesnel around 6:00pm not bad travel time at all considering we drove up in a camper van.

We stopped twice for gas, grabbed some lunch at Horstings Farm in Cache Creek to take a break from driving and being on the road.  I love the farm, what a great little gem of a place my brother introduced me to.  You create your own sandwich for about $6.49 and they are quite big in my opinion and very tasty too!  If you want more grab a loaf or two of their fresh bake bread, a bag of buns or one their savoury or fruity pies.  They also have fresh produce, jams, syrups, honey and much more.

And when we walked into my sister's house we were warmly welcomed by my sister, niece, nephew, and, oh, not to forget our brother-in-law.  Dad and Ursula were there as well so it was really a great visit.  My sister had dinner waiting too!  Yummy!

Around 10:30pm everyone started to crash so we all went to bed.  Luckily I had water in the van so when I awoke I could make myself a coffee and relax a spell with Spirit and Tarot.

Sunday's Gay Tarot Energy, “VIII Justice: Even today, gays can be the victims of “justice”.  An unfair judgment.  Being too judgemental or righteous.  Feeling restricted by others’ expectations.

Around 7:30 or so I headed into the house but Jiffy, their dog saw and awoke half the household.  So much for making a quiet entrance.  My niece started making breakfast/brunch around 9:30.  After that fantastic meal we chatted and had a jolly good time.

My brother and I had a friend come over for a visit and shortly after she arrived late morning several of us went out for walk to a viewpoint overlooking the city of Quesnel, a new vantage point of the city I never knew about...another great view of the city.  We returned home, I drove the van into town as a few of us had some errands to run one of which for me was to empty the vans holding tanks.  We returned to my sisters and set up for my nephew's 16th birthday party, chatted, snacked and waited for other guests to arrive.

The birthday cake was to arrive at 3:00pm but that did not happen, the baker wrote down the wrong day and didn't phone my sister until around 8pm.  A misunderstanding that will be resolved with a refund and a cake this Friday, my nephew will have a small celebration with a few of his friends.  Luckily my brother and our friend zipped down to Safeway and picked up a cake so all was not lost.

We had, beef burgers, chicken burgers, hot dogs, chips, fresh vegetables and salad for dinner.  I was introduced to an organic red wine with no detectable sulphites by our so the two of us shared two bottles of it, Our Daily Red out of California, I do believe.

After much partying and celebration sleep was calling out to many of us so off to bed we went.  I think after settling down I fell asleep around 1am.  I awoke here and there throughout the night but didn't awake until about 8 in the morning.  Still had time for a morning coffee and time with Spirit and Tarot.

Monday's Gay Tarot Energy, the “Guide of Wands: Feeling possessed by a creative project or inspiration.  Being inspired to help others.  Doing what’s right.

Soon my brother returned with my cousin, he was designated driver and so drove her home last night and picked her up this morning then my sister texted me that they were up so I should come in the house.  I wrapped up my morning activities and headed into the house around 9am.

Had a bit of coffee, a bagel and a homemade ham and cheese muffin for breakfast.  Shortly after 10am we were on our way, my brother driving with our Dad in his car and Ursula tagging along with me in the van.  We had a great drive down chatting all the way about this and that as different scenes along the sparked memories and something to talk about.  We reconnected with Dad and my brother at Horstings Farm and grabbed a late lunch before parting company, Dad and Ursula returning home to Kamloops and my brother and I to Vancouver.

My partner had dinner waiting for us as we walked in the door shortly after 7:30pm.  Pork roast and root vegetables and a flan for dessert.  Yummy!  My brother left around 9pm.  We grabbed our evening showers before relaxing a spell and crawling into bed a little before 11pm.

The alarm serenaded us at the usual 6:00am but I barely heard it.  If I had not thought about the work as I drifted back into consciousness I would have likely fallen back to sleep.

Today's Gay Tarot Energy is the “8 of Cups: Farewell.  Moving on.  Leaving behind a person, a situation, or a part of yourself."

When I was working with Tarot this morning I was thinking back to my thoughts on the drive back to Vancouver.  As we drove past the different campgrounds, RV parks and provincial parks along Cariboo Highway 97 and Trans Canada Highway 1 the idea of stopping at many of these places the next time I drive up intrigued me.  How many days would it take to travel from Vancouver to Quesnel if I stopped a day or two at each of the places or at least the ones that called out to me.  I quite like this idea.

So what does the “8 of Cups" have to do with these thoughts?  Perhaps, a tidbit from my conversation with our friend Leanne might help here.  When she and I were talking we talked about listening to our hearts, feelings and bodies when we make decisions or go about our daily activities.  Am I doing enough to listen to my needs that are shouting out to me?  Health, travel, work...relationship, family, finances...where I need to be or where do I need to go?   Hhhmmm...how do I move on?  "Moving on" is jumping out at me.

How about for you?  Do you need to move on?

Tomorrows Tarot may clarify things a little as will an eventual doctor's appointment and an assessment of my health.

That's about all I have for now.

Thank You Spirit.

Namaste.

The 'Guide of Wands' and "Doing What's Right"

Monday, March 7, 2016.  Although we had a busy day yesterday with hair appointment, a symphony concert and meeting friends for an early but not so early dinner it was a good day and a really enjoyable weekend.

I came up with an outline for the new piece to my puzzle of transitioning to a spiritual career and even did a quick thing today at lunch that was more comfortable than I thought it would be so I'm eager to get on with the actual thing...sorry for being elusive here but I wish to keep it under wraps until I've actually gone ahead and made this thing happen.

Spirit Is and today's Gay Tarot Energy is the “Guide of Wands: Feeling possessed by a creative project or inspiration.  Being inspired to help others.  Doing what’s right.

The “Guide of Wands" returns with a similar message as last time so how may I, Wizard Oron, be of service to you?  Through a different medium and a different delivery vehicle.  And why didn't I think of this before?  Fear and stage fright, so-to-speak.  A little more fearful these days in taking risks.

Not anymore...I've got my outline and a story to tell-my story but more importantly, your story!  This is what's called "Doing what’s right.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

Friday, January 29, 2016 “Guide of Wands"

Friday, January 29, 2016.  It's pushing close to bedtime now and I haven't written anything and more importantly haven't spent any time with Tarot and today's Tarot Energy, the “Guide of Wands: Feeling possessed by a creative project or inspiration.  Being inspired to help others.  Doing what’s right.

The “Guide of Wands" is a confirmation of my desire to be of service to others that came to light yesterday.  How can I, Wizard Oron be of service to you?

This has come about from my desire to be "Doing what’s right.”  And I cannot do "what’s right” unless I'm helping others and helping others will help me do "what’s right”.  And this can be the same for you.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

The Guide of Wands and the 8 of Coins

Wednesday, March 25th, 2015.  The middle of the week and a week that has me taking on more roles and expected responsibilities than I can rightfully handle.  I'm doing my best to fulfill the dozen or so roles that have fallen onto my shoulders.  I'm humbled and overwhelmed by the confidence placed in me as I take on my thousand and one roles and responsibilities.

Thank You Spirit.

Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is the “Guide of Wands: Feeling possessed by a creative project or inspiration.  Being inspired to help others.  Doing what’s right” with some hints coming from the “8 of Coins: The Factory.  Skill and mastery.  Tedious, repetitive labour.  Slow and methodical progress."

The latest inspiration to catch my attention is to go out of the city and live a more rural yet mobile lifestyle and as this inspired me a new inspiration snuck into mind of focusing on the job so I can finance a gently used camper van/van conversion.  This all came about as I decided to pay more attention and focus on and getting more involved with my website.  And I sit here writing and thinking about all of this much of this has been inspired by my desire to become spiritual and spiritually focused through Tarot and meditation especially in the midst of nature, a much more natural environment than I find myself in today.

So for me the "Guide of Wands" and the “8 of Coins" represent our need to get to the heart of our inspirations through weeding them out from a thousand and one thoughts that seemingly are inspirations yet are only the clues to the real inspiration that is hidden amongst them.  Journaling and meditation are great ways to narrow our focus as could be a walk through the woods or by simply watching the falling rain or in some cases falling snow from our favourite window as we sit on our favourite chair that is our sanctuary as we let our inspiration take over our thoughts and guide us along our meditative path.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

Christmas in Seattle

Saturday, December 27th, 2014.  A happy rainy and dark Saturday welcomed us out of bed.  After a quick trip down to Seattle we’re back home.  After I finished my work day we headed south.  The drive was uneventful as was the customs and border crossing.  Upon checking into our room we headed out to rustle up some dinner for ourselves if we found any open establishments on Christmas Eve.

Much to our surprise several stores, bars, pubs, and restaurants were open.  One such place was Edge of the Circle Books.  So in we went so I could browse the store.  I love this establishment and as proof of this I walked out of there $60 lighter in the pocket but carrying a new Tarot deck, “Tarot, The Kingdom Within” by Juno Lucina and Shannon ThornFeather and a t-shirt by “The Mountain” company.

After which we looked for food to satiate our hunger and into Charlie’s Bar and Grill we found ourselves going.  Was the food awesome, not by a long-shot but it was good and the atmosphere was cozy and the server friendly and a pleasure to interact with.

Soon we were back in our room snuggled up in bed as sleep settled in.  Thank You Spirit.

Christmas Eve’s visiting Tarot Card is “X The Wheel of Life: If life on the rim makes you dizzy, move to the centre. Awareness of the cycles of life. Equanimity. A change in fortunes. Guidance from your future or past self” with hints from the “9 of Wands: Don’t mess with me.  Defensiveness.  Putting up barriers to avoid intimacy.”

Christmas Day’s visiting Tarot Card is “XXI The World: Life can be a heavy burden or a joyful one, it is mostly up to you.  Transcending your circumstances by changing them or accepting what can’t be changed” with further hints from the “8 of Swords: The Crowded Subway. Restriction.  Being trapped by your own biases and prejudices.  Feeling lonely in a crowd.”

Boxing Day’s (December 26th) visiting Tarot Card is the “6 of Cups: Happy Birthday.  Fond memories.  A gift given in friendship or love” with some hints from the “6 of Coins: Dependence.  Resentment because of financial dependence on another.  Charity.  An unequal relationship.”

Today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Guide of Wands: Feeling possessed by a creative project or inspiration.  Being inspired to help others.  Doing what’s right” with a hint or two from the “7 of Swords: The Messenger.  Carrying your plans through obstacles.  Speed is important.  Someone brings news or a message.  Carelessness.”

The sights, sounds, experiences, and dreams over the last several days leads me to believe that I must do more to change myself so that I have a more powerful and positive impact on the world no matter how small of an impact it may be.  I feel really good, more than good really when Spirit is strong in my life and when this is the case I feel that I am radiating out into the world positive and loving energy that permeates the space around me and fills people in the area with hope, love, and optimism.  And the great thing is that we can all do this in our own small, little worlds and in fact some of you out there may have a bigger impact than you think.  So stand tall, spread your wings and fill the world with love, light, and hope.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

The Guide of Wands and Expressing Yourself, the Real You

Saturday, July 5th, 2014.  I did not sleep well last night and lay awake for a couple of hours or I guess better put I tried to sleep instead of just sleep and sleep just did not fall over me.  Then I awoke around 7:00am and decided to get up so I can have some quiet and alone time.  I’m going through a phase where I’d like to be on my own for a spell so having weekend mornings to myself for an hour so is great.

Our microwave died earlier in the week and we decided to have it looked at today so we spent about an hour trying to take it down.  This was most difficult to do as whomever installed it did not install it according to the manual.  As not was the mounting plate screwed into the wall, so was the microwave.  The anchors they used did not stay in the wall very well so the microwave was hung up on one side until I finally took a peek as best I could at the arms that slide into the outside frame of the microwave and see how it was catching inside the opening.  What a relief it came off as I lifted and straightened out the mounting plate while lifting and tilting the microwave enough to clear the catch on the mounting plate arm.  I don’t look forward to the re-installation of this one if it can be fixed or a new one if we have to go that direction.

Since we struggled so much with taking down the microwave we decided to eat dinner out and I against my intuition opted for the New York Steak at the Old Spaghetti Factory.  Big mistake as the steak was tough and tasted no better than what I make at home and have since stopped making at home since we do such a lousy job at cooking up a good steak.  Should have gone with the Chicken Neptune that was calling out to me.

Thank You Spirit.

Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Guide of Wands: Feeling possessed by a creative project or inspiration.  Being inspired to help others.  Doing what’s right.”

I need to express my “natural” self more and definitely do a better job of paying attention to and trusting my intuition.  I am an “II Intuitive” after all.  I need to be “me” and express the “me” that I know myself to be.  This is the direction I’m taking in my life—changing careers by becoming self-employed and empowered through a website and a somewhat mostly web-based business, and the expression of the real “me”.  And on this note, I’m going to pause here and go and take something out of my closet…be back in a sec.

And I’m back and as I was taking this particular piece of clothing out of the closet an inspiration for a matching hat came to me.  So what I appear to be doing is designing and creating a uniform for my business enterprise.

The image of the “Guide of Wands” is of a man sporting angelic wings with one touching the earth and the other holding a wand pointing to the sky—divine energy and power grounded by the energy of the earth.

So the message is clear—be who you are, humbly accept the power and energy of the divine and keep your wits about you and stay level headed with the grounding energy of the earth.  Appreciate and acknowledge the divine touch of grace in your life but do not think of it as your power and more of a divine gift that allows us to have a positive influence on life here on earth.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

The Guide of Wands and Letting Your Best Qualities Shine Through

Wednesday, June 11th, 2014.  I think I was half awake and half asleep for the last half of my sleep overnight and I could sense that I was working through the day with not having had enough sleep last night.  My work day was a bit disorganized and confusing for me and not at all to my liking but I go through it.  Although my lunch hour seemed to be alright and after two weeks of trying to replace the headlights in my car I finally succeeded today.  After many frustrating attempts I realized that I needed to find a way to keep the light secure and immobile while I fastened the cap that holds it in place and lo and behold a bit of two-sided scrapbooking tape did the trick.

Thank You Spirit.

Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Guide of Wands: Feeling possessed by a creative project or inspiration.  Being inspired to help others.  Doing what’s right.”

The “Guide of Wands” is letting me, letting us all know that we need to use our existing natural talents to bring about change in our lives which will then bring about change in the world as well as allow us to help others bring about change to their own lives too!  I’m glad that I’ve been reminded of the charm and charisma that people once saw in me many years ago and I’m glad to bring it back and allow it to once again be a part of what makes me who I am.

The development of my website has flourished as a result of me allowing more of my positive past self to shine through these last few days and I feel much better as a result.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

Guide of Wands and Belief in One's Self

Wednesday, March 19, 2014.  A gray, rainy morning however a great day of receiving Divine answers to many questions and ideas.  As I read and adopted new ways of thinking and understanding my place in the world and how although I have much to learn I also have much to offer and the Divine, the Cosmos, the Universe, is there to help me along the way.  Serving as inspiration, teacher, consultant and guide, the universe has laid out a path for me to follow and is holding my hand so I do not lose my way and veer off into unchartered and misdirecting paths that lead me away from where I am supposed to be and where I need to be going.

Tarot Cards, books, candles and incense as well as quick jaunt out for a coffee and a brief walk along the river and back home served me well yesterday.  Words, thoughts, and Divine inspiration led me to books and ideas and areas in my life that need improvement and an ability to believe and trust in myself and my intuition so I can move forward, continue to grow, and offer help and assistance to those who seek it.  My education and readings from the Universal Life Church and the University of Metaphysics are now being put to good use and now I am mature enough to continue to grow my passion and love, and knowledge of all things Divine.

Thank you Spirit.

Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Guide of Wands: Feeling possessed by a creative project or inspiration.  Being inspired to help others.  Doing what’s right.”

Believe in myself, I need to believe in myself and trust my intuition.  Spirit has my back and will never fail me.  I am gifted from the Divine and am thankful to have Spirit in my life teaching me to accept, appreciate and use my gifts to give back and help others as I keep myself firmly grounded to the Earth knowing my place in this world and understanding that even though I am only a small piece of the puzzle I still have much to offer.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

Guide of Wands, Creativity and Subtly Helping Others

Monday, January 27, 2014.  I awoke a few times throughout the night awoke somewhere around 40 minutes before the alarm so my sleep was not restful to say the least.  Comforting dreams though made up for that.  Indeed for what seemed to be the longest time I was dreaming about driving my RV to a place with spectacular scenery and throngs of people.  My RV completely finished as I envision it to be, the barely adequate exterior wood trim and all and I was not embarrassed the least bit driving her through the crowds of people.  I was quite proud of my little RV.  I think I had a few people traveling with me too!

As I dozed on and off I communed with Spirit and the elements to the best of my sleepy ability so when I awoke and got up to start my day I could more quickly get in tune with my cards and work with Tarot.  I’m getting a little more comfortable with my quick morning routine as I make up for it on the weekends.

Thank You Spirit.

Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Guide of Wands: Feeling possessed by a creative project or inspiration.  Being inspired to help others.  Doing what’s right.”

Working with the “Guide of Wands” today did not bring about much opportunity to help others except in subtle ways or ways I’m unaware of.  Perhaps, tidbits of conversations I had with co-workers or people on the telephone helped them in ways I may never get to know.  Oh, I also avoided an accident by reacting quickly and safely when another driver tried to pull into my lane when I was coming up beside him or her—shoulder checking is very important!

My creativity is itching to get to work on one of my hobbies and even to a degree on most of them even so far as to dabble with ideas while I’m at work.  Naughty, naughty…I know but a few minutes of such activities are likely to also benefit my employer.  I think one night this week will be spent on making handcrafted cards and another on cutting out templates for my other hobby, model railroading.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

The Guide of Wands and Living With Purpose

Today is a sick day, not feeling 100 percent and besides the weather is crappy for Vancouver standards.  Snow, ice, and freezing rain do not make for a nice commute.  I’m used to it as I grew up in snow country but most people in Vancouver do not drive for winter road conditions and seldom have winter tires on their vehicles.

So I awoke at about 4am feeling anxious and dreadful.  The day seemed to be starting as and shaping up to be a gloomy day.  I felt extremely cold and as if I was in dire straits…no idea why so I sat by the fireplace and let it warm me and fill my spirit with its energy.  I communed with Spirit and worked with Tarot and allowed their calm and soothing touch wash away the darkness that was wrapped around me like a blanket.

Thank You Spirit.

Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Guide of Wands: Feeling possessed by a creative project or inspiration.  Being inspired to help others.  Doing what’s right.”

For me this card is a reflection of what living a purpose drive life is all about.  When we live our lives, the lives we desire and create for ourselves with purpose we open up a world of possibilities for ourselves where creativity, passion, and a desire to give and help others runs strong.  Our beauty and charm exude from us; instills others with confidence and inspires them to do the same.  Ideas and thoughts become words, which become actions and whereby we live and lead our lives by example.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

Guide of Wands and Time To Get Creative Again!

We spent a good portion of our day downtown Vancouver as we left home around 11:00am and didn’t get back until a little past 8:00pm.  We wanted to get out and enjoy a bit of the urban landscape and we did.  We met up with a friend, had a few drinks, walked along the seawall, went and had more drinks and a bite to eat before parting company and going our separate ways.  It was a nice day but I would have much preferred spending the day working on my RV but overall, I somewhat enjoyed myself.  Thank You Spirit.

Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Guide of Wands: Feeling possessed by a creative project or inspiration.  Being inspired to help others.  Doing what’s right.”  I feel a need to move on with my life and even feel a need to change my favourite craft from making handmade or handcrafted cards to working with wools and yarns, and maybe throwing a few beads in there somewhere.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

Creativity

Christmas Eve.  We had a quiet day yesterday really.  We did not do a whole lot of anything but we did go out and do some shopping for food and then a last minute gift for a friend who is coming over for dinner and fun tomorrow.  We hit Price Smart Foods on Marine Drive in Burnaby for our usual then we took the train down toward Commercial Drive to hit DeSerres for our gift, then Commercial Drive for a bit of cheese – Manchega and Myzithra picked up from Santa Barbara Market.  Oh, and we had coffee and Continental Coffee before coming back home.

With it being Christmas Eve, I lit some Frankincense and Myrrh incense before working with Tarot.  Spirit is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Guide of Wands: Feeling possessed by a creative project or inspiration.  Being inspired to help others.  Doing what's right."  I was thinking about the RV, and traveling and working from my RV more specifically last night and upon awaking this morning.  Not sure where I'm going with this however I feel that my "presence" in life needs to be mobile so what better way than to be mobile than traveling in a RV, a motorhome?  I need to get on with "my life" and do what I am needed to be doing in life.  I got to get moving.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

Guide of Wands

"Guide of Wands - Feeling possessed by a creative project or inspiration.  Being inspired to help others.  Doing what's right."

This is a very fitting card as I am feeling possessed by a creative project because of an inspiration I can also say that I am also "doing what's right" because I am setting up shop, a proper workplace at home so my creative ideas for cards can more easily come to life.

We shopped for stuff to remodel the den this past weekend and the weekend that is fast approaching will be used to get things going regarding the remodel.  Really, it is just adding three shelves to the wall, a long table, and a storage cabinet or two along the same wall and then piling in all of my craft stuff.

The old desk and bookshelf will find new homes with other people and that will be that.  I look forward to having a more permanent and usable space in which to make my cards so I never have to take them out, put them, away take them out, put them away, forget what I was doing, lose my urge to make cards, etc.  This is a great and about time project and move on my part.
