Had an odd night of sleep or of not sleeping, not really sure which however I felt like I was asleep but seemed to be awake and aware that I was in bed trying to sleep. Then when I awoke I fumbled through the morning...I seemed to stumble to make the coffee, work with Tarot and even eat my breakfast. But I made it through my early morning start and made my way to the job.
Spirit Is and today's Tarot Energy is “XII The Hanged Man: Living in the moment. Being fully absorbed in the present. Nonattachment to goals. Seeing things from a new angle."
I'm too emotionally attached and too rigid in wanting the achievement of my goals now that I'm blocking all of the positive energy that is out there waiting to help me do just that--achieve my goals. I need detachment. I need to plant the seeds in the ground and leave them be so they can sprout, grow and blossom instead of digging them up every five minutes to see if anything has happened. I need to quit disturbing the great loving and positive energy that is all around me wanting me to succeed.
And as much as I'm bothered by my job I need to present at it for all the hours I'm paid for and focus on it rather than bemoaning where I am. I need to be present and focused and perform the duties I'm paid to do. Besides, I can always find another job since I'm disenfranchised by the one I currently have. Seeing things at a new angle has given me a new fresh perspective and I'm feeling a whole lot better because of this. I have the strength, power, energy, courage and people behind me for me to succeed so I better get on with it.
And in seeing things from a new angle I also need to take a look at myself from a new angle so I can more fully understand myself, who I am and who I desire to be. I've got some homework to do so I take my leave for the day and bid you grace and peace.
Thank You Spirit.

The 'Five of Chalices' and 'XII The Hanged Man'
Tuesday, March 15, 2016. A couple of birthday celebrations filled our evening last night with dinner out and a symphony and piano concert afterwards. And a great night it was!
Yesterday's Pagan Tarot Energy is the "Five of Chalices: Three spilled cups lay on the ground in front of our blue and white clad Witch. Her handsome young man stands behind her, offering her a fresh cup. Although, he is positive, supportive, and smiling, she is preoccupied with what has been lost. While a time of sorrow or mourning is normal, don't let it stop you from continuing with your life. Lift yourself up and start over. Trust that your life and your magic will find new balance and you will find peace for yourself."
Today's Pagan Tarot Energy is "XII The Hanged Man - Similar to the Chariot, we see that our goals have been held back in a larger sense due to some important part of our lives we have needed to repair first; once we have made the necessary changes, we will stop feeling as though we are on hold."
I must cast my eyes forward, recognizing all that I have accomplished and instead looking at what I have yet to achieve. No time or energy need be wasted on looking back into the past. My life is not in the past, it's right here in the present with great hope and optimism for the future. My energy needs to remain focused on what I can do today instead of what I failed to do yesterday so onward and upward I go hopping onto the elevator of success sent down our way so we too can find success as so many others have.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The 'Hanged Man' and Living in the Moment Wherever the Moment Is
Tuesday, March 1, 2016. Paid a quick visit to Reflections Books today as I needed a nice boost of energy and I walked out of the store with a small purchase and a great shot of much needed energy. My energy levels have been quite high especially on the weekend and a few days prior as I'll talk about more later. However, the company I'm working for, sucks a lot of energy from its employees, myself included. We all put in the hours but get little return on our investments and I feel like I'm getting pushed up against a wall and to a point where my principals are being challenged and almost compromised. And I cannot let this happen. I need to make a stand, if you will, and keep my principals intact.
A change is needed so I'm glad that I'm feeling a swing toward a new career, a new spiritual career, and a career where I can interact with many more people and be more at home and be myself. More importantly, I'm doing things that come much more natural to me and that are more in tune with what makes me tick. And this was confirmed as I browsed the shelves at Reflections as well as head tidbits of a conversation between two women, friends who ran into each other at the store. One of whom was going back home to work with her cards and have a cup of chai tea. Cool, very cool indeed!
Today's Gay Tarot Energy is the “XII The Hanged Man: Living in the moment. Being fully absorbed in the present. Nonattachment to goals. Seeing things from a new angle."
Hey, this is a reflection of my day at the job. I was fully immersed and living in the moment as I performed my duties. The job was number one. However, at lunch, I was number one and I fully immersed myself into enjoying and appreciating every morsel of food I ate with the utmost thanks and gratitude for having food to eat and fresh water to drink.
My goals are in front of me and I'm working toward them but I'm not clinching to them in a way where I'm losing sleep over them or stressed or worried about achieving them. Instead I have faith based on experience as well as an understanding and knowledge that I am achieving my goals but all in due course. It's not a matter of if but when and when is soon, very soon!
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

'XII The Hanged Man' and Living in the Power of This Very Moment
Monday, February 8, 2016. Happy Family Day to Everyone here in BC. Hope we all have plans to spend some time with our families.
What wonderful weekend this has been. Very quiet. Had a quick visit with a friend yesterday morning before lunch and our weekly shopping trip. Then it was taking time to relax and enjoy our lives.
Today's Gay Tarot Energy is “XII The Hanged Man: Living in the moment. Being fully absorbed in the present. Nonattachment to goals. Seeing things from a new angle."
“XII The Hanged Man" for me today, in fact this entire weekend has been about "living in the moment" and "being fully absorbed in the present" and I come to this conclusion from all that I accomplished this weekend. My model railroad is further along than I could have imagined it to be and my spirit is soaring and I feel liberated and completely at one with myself as well as with the universe at large. Everlasting and universal light, love, and peace fill my world.
"Seeing things from a new angle" for me is all about the photos I snapped with my phone of my model railroad. My Nikon takes great photos however I've never taken any with it that captured the scenes I go with my phone last night. I'll need to explore my camera a bit more to see what I can do. With my phone I've caught scenes that I can relate to as if I was standing on my layout and looking at the same scene with my own eyes. I captured "street level" photographs of my layout.
Cool!
"Seeing things from a new angle" has also allowed me to better accept myself for who I am...accept and be honest about it with myself and others...
Immerse yourself into today and see where the day takes you. Focus on this very second, this very moment and allow it to fill your mind with its presence and power. Be absorbed with what is right here and right now...look no further and let this day be all about today and nothing else.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

XII The Hanged Man and Surrendering to Spirit
Thursday, May 21st, 2015. Another decent night of sleep albeit a bit on the hot side and this after another quiet evening at home. I worked with Tarot most of the evening taking some time to relax while reading one of my favourite blogs, RV Dreams. I thoroughly enjoy this blog and have been reading it for maybe five or six years.
Spirit is and today's visiting Tarot is “XII The Hanged Man: Living in the moment. Being fully absorbed in the present. Non-attachment to goals. Seeing things from a new angle."
Today was all about living in the moment although it turned into a bit of a frustrating day. I did have moments of clarity as well as insight into living a life on the road however I was also well aware of the fact that I need to act in order to make such a life possible. I believe that this is coming about as the influence of Spirit grows stronger and greater in my life as I surrender to the power and loving embrace of Spirit.
Let's embrace life through the wonderful eyes and mind of Spirit if we can define Spirit as such and let Spirit influence us in ways we never thought possible and do so at Spirit's pace not ours. Pay attention to your dreams and thoughts and and other intriguing ways that Spirit may influence your life giving you pause for thought or a compelling reason to change direction in your life. Spirit is our guide and we must follow.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The Guide of Swords and XII The Hanged Man
Tuesday, March 10th, 2015. Last night is a complete blur. I was battling my bodies need of sleep until the moment I crawled into bed. I tried watching the six o'clock news but missed most of it as my eyes kept closing and I struggled to keep them open. I did feel a bit more awake after dinner and my shower but sleep quickly fell upon me as I crawled under the blankets.
Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot Card is the “Guide of Swords: A wider perspective. Altruistic thoughts. Messages from the higher self" with further guidance coming from “XII The Hanged Man: Living in the moment. Being fully absorbed in the present. Nonattachment to goals. Seeing things from a new angle."
Surrender. Allow patience, prudence, and trust to be your guides as you break away from the bonds of what is holding you back and as you embark on a new and necessary journey. Allow the gift of intuition and higher knowledge to work in your life as you find your way forward. Healing and renewal are at work in your life today.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

XII The Hanged Man and XI Strength
Friday, January 23rd, 2015. Another day closer to the elusive weekend. Last night was another quiet evening at home as is tonight. I slept well until about 5:30am and decided to get up and get started with the day. Last night was an early night and an enjoyable evening of dabbling a little bit in my model railroad.
Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot Card is “XII The Hanged Man: Living in the moment. Being fully absorbed in the present. Nonattachment to goals. Seeing things from a new angle" with further elaboration coming from “XI Strength: Directing your passions, rather than suppressing them, is the key. Finding healthy outlets for powerful energies.”
Living in the here and now and focusing on the moment is our best way to move forward. Developing and working toward goals is a good way to set things in motion and get anything under way however there may be also a time where we have to step back and let things be. Plant the seed and let our goals grow.
Then we can go further by focusing our energies on areas of interest and passion, releasing our energy where it will do us the most good. Our restlessness often comes from lack of focus and direction, unfulfilled minds, spirits, and goals. Get to know yourself by pulling away from the busyness of your life and spending time with yourself and your own thoughts.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

XXI The World with Support from XII The Hanged Man
Monday, November 3rd, 2014. So much for gaining an hour of sleep; I think I lost about three between awaking early yesterday and getting to be much later than I’d hoped last night. We had friends over for dinner and they left around 10:30 so by the time we cleaned a little bit it was after 11 by the time we crawled into bed. Then I awoke at some point and couldn’t get back to sleep and tossed and turned for many hours until the alarm sounded. No worries.
I’m alive for another day and the weekend was a pretty darned good one overall so all is good. A good dinner with friends and more wonderful conversation made for a good end to the weekend.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is “XXI The World: Life can be a heavy burden or a joyful one, it is mostly up to you. Transcending your circumstances by changing them or accepting what can’t be changed.”
We often get hung on the least important aspects of life such as material possessions, worrying about keeping up with the Jones’ and trying to live to meet others expectations. Doing this makes life more of a burden than a joyful one. Yes, life can be difficult however many a time we can make changes that will allow us to move beyond minor inconveniences that should be of concern to us.
The “XII The Hanged Man: Living in the moment. Being fully absorbed in the present. Nonattachment to goals. Seeing things from a new angle.”, is a reminder to us to live in the moment, to pay attention to the here and now and what is right front of eyes. Goals are real, and although important we must be open-minded and flexible enough to adapt to new ways of achieving our goals or adapting our goals in ways that may change them slightly but still remain important enough for us to chase after them.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The 5 of Cups and XII The Hanged Man
Friday, October 10th, 2014. So a couple of days have passed us by or almost as there is still five hours of Friday left to enjoy.
Yesterday was a super busy day at work and as much as I was looking forward to simply coming home to crash we agreed to meet a friend for dinner. As is in most cases, dinner was good and the conversation was great. We chatted for a couple of hours at The Reef on Main Street in Vancouver. We arrive back home around 9:30 or so.
Yesterday’s visiting Tarot Card is the “5 of Cups: The Aftermath. Regret over past actions.” As well I took notice of “XI Strength: Directing your passions, rather than suppressing them, is the key. Finding healthy outlets for powerful energies.”
The “5 of Cups” surprises me when it drops by for a visit but then I always come to an understanding of why it shows up as it reminds me to be on the lookout for and to do my best to avoid making rash decisions of get stuck in a doubtful way of thinking. And then it’s also reminding me that better things are always around the corner. Additionally, if I’m directing my passions I’m less likely to do things I regret later.
Today was a much better day than yesterday, quiet yet comfortably busy and a nice quite simple end to the work day. I’m glad as I lay awake for about an hour and a half last night and awoke feeling a bit tired. In fact, the alarm awoke me and as I rolled for a second I almost fell back to sleep.
Today’s visiting Tarot Card is “XII The Hanged Man: Living in the moment. Being fully absorbed in the present. Nonattachment to goals. Seeing things from a new angle.”
Not knowing is okay and I’m finally accepting this fact of my life. I don’t know everything and I acknowledge this and surrender to the loving presence, guidance, and comfort of Spirit in my life. I need a alone day, a quiet day where I can get away from it all and simply “be”. A good dose of nature therapy will do me just fine.
Not knowing and admitting that we do not often illuminates fresh new insights that allow us to move in a new direction with confidence as is revealed by another card today that caught my attention, the “2 of Wands: Confidence. Being the king of your castle. Preparing the ground for a new venture. The dawn of an adventure.”
I do have more smarts than I give myself credit especially in relation to the new direction I wish to go. In fact, it’s not really a new direction at all as I given thought to many times over the past years, if not over the past ten or fifteen years or even slightly longer. I simply need to believe in myself and allow my natural talents and confidence to shine through as we all should.
Today is still here so I’m going to end here and get on with enjoying the rest of this fine day.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

XII The Hanged Man, Present Moment Awareness and A Willingness to Learn
Monday, September 29th, 2014. I awoke earlier than the alarm, no surprise to me as I always do this when I’m home alone. Go to bed early and awake early. This turned out to be a good thing as I prepared my own breakfast and lunch so I was able to relax a little more with the extra 30 minutes I had.
I relaxed last night by piddling around with my model railroad. I was looking at the layout and trying to envision a town plan for the available land on the layout as well as come up with new colours for the Atlas Suburban Passenger Station I’ll “build” somewhere on the layout. It does come prefinished but I’m not keen on the colours so I’ll simply change it. I’m planning to put the station along the mainline and the actual town site along a siding on the opposite side of the layout. I tinkered around with this until about 10pm and then went to bed.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is “XII The Hanged Man: Living in the moment. Being fully absorbed in the present. Nonattachment to goals. Seeing things from a new angle.”
Today is a day about being totally immersed in the here and now and this is what I did the entire day. Although, I do have plans and goals I’m working for they do not take away from my presence and awareness of this day and the focus I have on performing my work duties as well as the other tasks and things must be taken care on this day.
I also realized that even though I have plans for the future and how I’ll go about seeing them through I still do not know everything. In fact I likely know a whole lot of nothing about everything. We can never know everything and likely should not expect to. Instead, we should always keep an open-mind and an insatiable desire to learn throughout our lives, always keeping our eyes open to new world views and new opportunities to improve our lives.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

Blessed Be.

XII The Hanged Man and Making the Necessary Repairs
Tuesday, July 29th, 2014. I slept better last night but still awoke about an hour before the alarm. Luckily though I slept enough so as not be half asleep today unlike yesterday. Thank goodness!
My work day morning’s are still rushed however I do not have the inclination to awake any earlier. I have no impulse to jump out of bed when I awake and see that the time is such that I could easily get out of bed and allow myself more time to work with Tarot but I usually want nothing more than to simply lay there tossing and turning. I’m not sure what this about as I had no problems doing this when I worked at other jobs. I guess it’s just too early of a wake-up and I never crawl into bed early enough to get a decent night’s rest.
This is okay though as I’m on a mission to pay off my debt. I’ll simply say that my debt is paid off. I should speak in the present tense to generate more positive energy regarding this and this goes as well for me being self-employed too!
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is “XII The Hanged Man: Living in the moment. Being fully absorbed in the present. Nonattachment to goals. Seeing things from a new angle.”
I’ve still got a few changes and repairs to make to and in my life so I can rid myself of bad habits and negative thought patterns. I’m kind of feeling like I’m in a holding pattern right now where my forward momentum has slowed down almost to a stall. I need to come clean with myself in a few areas before the forward motion picks up delvers me to where I want to be in life. I’ve also got to leave my goals alone so-to-speak so they can sprout and grow with the energy that the universe is putting toward them instead of replanting the seeds all of the time.
Plant your goals in the fertile soil of the universe with plenty of love and happiness then leave them alone so that the universal life force can nourish them and bring them to life. Allow the universe to water and fertilize your goals so they sprout and grow and produce the fruit for you to harvest. This is non-attachment. Faith founded in experience and knowledge that what you desire is your already.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

XII The Hanged Man and New Insights and Getting Rid of Old Baggage
Monday, June 23rd, 2014. I had a weird night of sleep. I had a difficult time staying asleep or even knowing if I was asleep then at one point I was eager for it to be time to get up—the night seemed to dragging on forever. But I also wanted to just sleep and not catch myself thinking about anything anymore. Confusing night all around. But I felt the strong presence of Spirit in my life and a strong guiding force from Tarot.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “XII The Hanged Man: Living in the moment. Being fully absorbed in the present. Nonattachment to goals. Seeing things from a new angle.”
As I thought about “XII The Hanged Man” this morning and again at lunch I realized that I still have some changes to make in order to fully and successfully move forward with my goals. It’s not that I’ll not get to where I want to be but if I become aware of and make these changes to the road ahead will have fewer obstructions and detours for me to work through and around. I’m still emotionally scarred and carrying around emotional baggage that I yet have to uncover but I have an inkling of where I need to look and how I can transcend it and leave it behind once and for all.
I also had some insight as to how to be more successful in the business I’m getting myself involved in and will need to pull a book off of the shelf, dust it off and reread it again so I can be better equipped to handle the clientele I know I’ll have when I officially “open” my door to begin receiving them as well as refresh a few things I need to do for myself so I’m more content in my own skin so-to-speak.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

XII The Hanged Man and Living in the Present to Have a Better Future
Thursday, June 5th, 2014. I had a good night even awaking early and being okay with it. I tried to simply “be” and let Spirit work with me as I simply opened myself up to the power and presence of Spirit as I let my drift to and fro with sleep coming and going as I lay in a half slumber.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is “XII The Hanged Man: Living in the moment. Being fully absorbed in the present. Nonattachment to goals. Seeing things from a new angle.”
I’m working my way out of a rut through positive change in my life. Old habits are falling by the wayside and realistic thoughts and evaluations of my present life and my future goals is allowing me to develop a clear path to taking control of my life and writing my own story and realizing my goals. My timeline is fixed yet flexible as I’d love my first day of full time self-employment to take place on October 31, 2014—Samhain also known as Halloween. But I need to ensure that I’m working on a solid foundation that will allow me to be comfortable and successful forward from that date.
Goals need to be real and attainable but at the same time we cannot be wrapping our lives around them 24/7. We need to give ourselves room to breathe and focus on the present without constantly worrying about the achievement of our goals.
Celebrate and work with today knowing that through a strong self belief and confidence in your abilities to control your life and write your own story you will realize and celebrate your dreams and goals.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

XII The Hanged Man and Turning Away From Something
Tuesday, May 20th, 2014. I slept rather well last night and was awake at about 5am. I didn’t want to get out of bed so I simply rolled over and dozed off and on until the alarm sounded at 6am.
I think I rested well as I did a little bit of Chakra alignment and cleansing last night. As soon as I picked up a piece of red jasper to work with my base chakra a reddish energy was swirling about and a few minutes later even before thinking about moving to my Spleen and picking up the orange carnelian, swirling orange energy was swirling about this location. And so it was for the remainder of my Chakras. I surprised myself at how able I was to visualize, see, and feel the energy changing around each separate Chakra and then my whole spiritual being.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is “XII The Hanged Man: Living in the moment. Being fully absorbed in the present. Nonattachment to goals. Seeing things from a new angle.”
It was not until I was eating lunch and doing a little more reflection and reading on this card that I realized I need to turn away from and give up on my desires for a spell as I’m spending too much energy on dreaming about my future instead of focusing on the present moment and my job. I have done this off and on over the past couple of weeks and it seems to make a difference so I going to it with a renewed fervor. I need to focus on work and do a good job and fulfill the obligations given to me by my employer.
I have my dreams and goals and desires and I did plant a seed and narrowed my focus such that the cosmos is putting things in place for my dreams to come to fruition. Acceptance, acknowledgement, faith, belief, and knowledge fill me with such optimism to know this to be true. I’ll work on the weekend to get some changes made to my website and make it more reflective of my dreams and desires. This will only strengthen my resolve to move forward and make strident steps to keep moving forward.
The atmosphere and energy at work felt a bit odd today and everyone seemed to be in a state of chaos as they got on with their day. I felt out of sorts until after lunch as this is when I reflected on “XII The Hanged Man” and had a better understanding of what his appearance menat for me today.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The Hanged Man and Living in and for Today
Friday, February 7th, 2014. Friday, a great day of the week for me not only because it’s the last day of the work week for me but also because of my early morning business to business networking breakfast where I get to meet and mingle with like minded individuals and grow the business at the same time. The people I work with are almost getting how this can be worthwhile but still have a way to go to before they fully understand the concept. But I’m making progress in changing their attitudes toward networking and referrals.
Thank You Spirit.
This morning when I work with Spirit and Tarot I noticed something happened today that also happened Wednesday and that could have very well happened yesterday and I didn’t notice. As I pulled out me deck of cards I noticed the card on the bottom of the deck and said to myself that “this is going to be today’s visiting Tarot Card” and sure enough after shuffling and cutting the deck this very same card came to light as I flipped over the top card of the deck. Wednesday and again today. I recall that this has also happened before.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is “XII The Hanged Man: Living in the moment. Being fully absorbed in the present. Non-attachment to goals. Seeing things from a new angle.”
Today is all about today and not wishing the future and so far this is how the day has progressed. Present moment awareness all around. Goals that are goals designed to be achieved in the future without anxiety or worry attached to them, how soon they may come to be or even how they will come to be—simply goals and a simple knowing that they will come to pass.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

XII The Hanged Man and Understanding Contradiction
Saturday, January 18th, 2014.
A nice foggy Saturday morning greets me as I stumble my way out of bed and into his brand new day. I’ve had the last hour to myself, time alone with Spirit And Tarot as I reflect on journey through life, my many journeys through life that have garnered me a new, maybe simply a renewed faith and trust in life and connection with Spirit, with the real me. Reflecting on life as Tarot leads me on a daily journey of further self-discovery and self-exploration where images give way to feelings, intuition, inner knowledge, and deep wisdom and understanding. All of this gained through the unfolding Tarot Card of this wonderful day.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is “XII The Hanged Man: Living in the moment. Being fully absorbed in the present. Non-attachment to goals. Seeing things from a new angle.”
This card is about contradiction. With this card we are being asked to do the opposite of what at least on the surface appears to be natural to us yet in most instances hinders our ability to live our dreams and find success in all that we try to do.
In order to gain control we need to learn how to let go, in order to win we need to sacrifice, in order to move forward we need to stand still and remove that sense of urgency from our lives. The best way to achieve is to be non-attached to all that we cherish and desire and then comes a better chance for us to realize them all. Have what you want by giving it up. Move forward by stepping backward, win by putting others first.
Today is a time to simply “Be”, to be nothing!
Thank you Spirit.
Blessed Be.

XII The Hanged Man and Giving Up To Find What You're Looking For
Ran a couple of errands yesterday before relaxing a little before getting dinner going and ready for our Friday Night Dinner with Friends. They were running late so dinner sat for awhile longer than I hoped but it still tasted good. The nights went well and we managed to get through it without a problem. Always good when that happens.
I had a tough night of sleeplessness and many a thought and the odd dream or two. Thinking of yesterday’s Tarot Card revealed more wisdom and knowledge and again my dreams were all about travel. Yesterday’s Tarot Card, XI Strength was pointing out the need for inner strength and strong character, not to give in to despair or to give up on myself or my dreams.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is “XII The Hanged Man: Living in the moment. Being fully absorbed in the present. Nonattachment to goals. Seeing things from a new angle.”
As I read in “Learning the Tarot”, pages 136-137, this card is full of contradictions. I need to live in the moment, as I’m slowly learning to do. And I need to, as hard or contradictory as this may seem, give up my urgency to achieve my dreams and goals and this will help me find what I’m looking for.
This is also advice given by Deepak Chopra in his book The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success. Nonattachment to goals, detached intentions, allowing our dreams and goals to evolve and come to fruition without force or force of will. Living in harmony with Spirit and the natural world...
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

XII The Hanged Man and Today
Another day behind us. We had a pretty lazy Saturday but those are exactly the kind of Saturdays and weekends that I like, a do nothing kind of day. Of course, there was not a whole lot of relaxing as we did go out and do a few things like pick up a package from UPS, drop by the mall to replace our Smartphone screen protectors – didn’t happen; buy a few clothes, visit Ikea and pick up a few under bed shoe bins before returning home for lunch.
A few weeks ago, we used our Crock-Pot slow cooker and again noticed the smell of melting plastic; we’ve noticed this smell since we first used it. This time I investigated the slow cooker more thoroughly and noticed a hole melted through the plastic in the back of the slow cooker base. So I got on the telephone the next day and contacted the customer service office of Crock-Pot as they had no repair facilities anywhere near Vancouver. I was not expecting much but they blew us away with their customer service (Thank You Loletta!) and concern over our defective slow cooker and beyond that , they said they were sending us a new one by UPS. I scanned our original purchase receipt (June 2012) and sent it to them and they emailed information on the shipment of the new slow cooker to us. I noticed that our address was incorrect in the email so I fired off an email stating this as a shipment had just left their office. No problem, they’ll send out another slow cooker!
Well as it turns out the address was only incorrect in the email they sent to me and not on the two packages that arrived yesterday. I refused the second parcel so it can go back to Crock-Pot. They exceeded our expectations and will certainly be mentioned in our conversations with family and friends. Thank You Loletta and Crock-Pot for your great service.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is “XII The Hanged Man: Living in the moment. Being fully absorbed in the present. Non-attachment to goals. Seeing things from a new angle.”
Today is the only today so today is my focus. I have all of Tarot Decks out on the table and Tarot and Spirit are top of mind. No thinking about my future, no worrying about how I’ll survive life on the road in an RV with no fixed address or permanent employment to support my financial needs. No, just a simple faith and trust in today and all that I have to be thankful for on this day and for all the seconds, minutes, and hours I have left on this “today”, this perfect moment in time.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

Not So Black and White
Yesterday was a quiet day for the most part as the most exciting thing to happen was the buildings fire alarm going off around 7:30 last night as our friend was arriving to try a new dessert my partner made. We waited outside for the fire department to give the all clear as we chatted with our friend as well as our friends from the building.
I had a difficult time sleeping however not from worrying about today being the first day of my temporary job but rather because of other “crap” that filled my mind, utter nonsensical stuff but it kept me awake none-the-less.
So today is the first day of work and I’m awoke feeling quite under the weather. I do believe I have a cold, maybe even the flu. Hopefully, it will go away as fast as usual, and I’ll be feeling better tomorrow.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is “XII Then Hanged Man: Living in the moment. Being fully absorbed in the present. Nonattachment to goals. Seeing things from a new angle.” If I tie this in to today’s horoscope I need to really look beyond my preferences and be open to all possibilities. I guess I’m a bit rigid in certain areas of my life when I instead should be more open, receptive, and fluid.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

Happy New Year
Happy New Year! May 2013 be the Year of Fulfilling All of Our Dreams!
I only got around to writing for the first two days of our trip to Boston and it stopped there. Boston was as are many places around the world, in the throes of winter. It was cold and then it even snowed for us. We toured the USS Constitution again, we took a boat tour of Boston Harbour, Boston University and surround neighbourhood, and we took time out of a couple of days to take in the Museum of Fine Arts. And I made it to “Cheers”. We had lunch in the original bar that the series was based on and a quick tour of the “set” bar where they filmed the long running TV series. I had my photo taken while sitting on the stool that was once occupied by Dr. Frasier Crane, Kelsey Grammer who later resurrected this character in his own series Fraser.
We celebrated New Year’s with my partner’s family and a couple of friends from Boston who ended up doing most of the New Year’s Eve food preparations.
The suite we stayed in is in an older house that we found to be a bit too much on the cold side as we also find about our friend’s place and where partner’s niece is also staying. The old room radiators just cannot heat a house to our comfort level, I guess.
Our flight left Boston yesterday at 8:19, our flight to Chicago, that is. We spent 2-3 hours at O’Hare before our 4.5 hour flight from there back to Vancouver. The day and flights were too long after a short night of almost non-existent sleep.
Our dear, sweet friend thankfully picked us up at the airport. So we gave him our gifts as well as took him out for dinner. We stayed awake as long as we could but crawled into bed around 9:30pm. I opened my eyes around 4:44am and crawled out of bed at about 5am.
Tarot Cards from the last days of December (27th) until yesterday are: "6 of Wands"; "Guide of Cups"; “XIV Temperance”; “Guide of Coins”; “VI The Lovers"; and the “Ace of Wands".
With yesterday being New Year’s day and the Tarot Card being the Ace of Wands, I tried my best to keep my focus on my crafts RVing, Wicca, Tarot, Spirit, Writing, Ventriloquism, and Travel as I’ve read that in some belief systems that whatever occupies your time, thoughts, and activities on this day will be what fills the year ahead.
Today’s visiting Tarot Card is “XII The Hanged Man: Living in the moment. Being fully absorbed in the present. Nonattachment to goals. Seeing things from a new angle."
Living in the moment and non-attachment to my goals are what will help me to achieve them this year. 2012 was a good year in laying out a decent foundation for me to build upon. I worked on the RV and made significant progress in making her my own and I ended the year working on and selling my cards, a sure sign that using my talents and making crafts is a good way to earn a living and live life on the road. Spring is the perfect time to set off on just such an adventure and Spring 2013 is the perfect time to do it.
Thank You Spirit!
Blessed Be.
