Monday, June 30th, 2014. The year is half over, a half a year yet to come. 2014 is moving along at a rather quick pace, it would seem. I’ve enjoyed much of the year really, for the most part that is as I feel like I’ve grown and matured quite a bit over the past six months. I feel stronger, more grounded, more alive, and more in control of my life. I’m much more active and actually living my life more than I have been in previous years and it feels good.
Thank You Spirit.
I awoke far too early this morning and really wanted nothing more than to stay in bed and sleep in whatever fashion or form sleep would take me but alas it is a work day. But the motivation to get out of bed is that tomorrow is Canada Day and another day off from work. A day off I feel I am in need of as this past weekend just didn’t feel like enough of a break from the work week cycle.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “5 of Wands: The Hockey Game. The project meets resistance. Testing one’s ideas against others. An enjoyable struggle. Competition in the marketplace.”
I see this card and think, what is the “5 of Wands” all about today and nothing struck me or stood out regarding this visit from this card. I did acknowledge that my business concept is an idea that will take me into a marketplace full of competitors but this I do not find daunting at all but rather the nature of the business environment. Then as I had lunch and thought more about the “5 of Wands” visions of how I can make myself stand out from the crowd filled my mind. Ideas I definitely plan to implement.
I’m still also coming to terms with the idea of being self-employed in such a business and battling a few lingering doubts about being able to pull it off but I know I’ll do just fine. I am doing just fine.
So the “5 of Wands” is asking us to rise to the challenge and test ourselves and our ideas against others to see if we indeed have what it takes to take the leap and succeed in life along whatever path we choose for ourselves. Rise up and make your mark, make your presence known and felt by those who did the same themselves.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The Man of Cups and Radiating Pure Love and Joy
Sunday, June 29th, 2014. I had a very good yesterday as I ventured out to a couple of my favourite stores, Reflections and Michaels and made quite significant progress on a couple of different projects. Visiting Reflections always recharges me spiritually and energetically and Michaels had exactly the “stamp” and embellishments I didn’t know I was looking for but grateful to have found for my brother’s 50th birthday card.
Once I returned home we had lunch—KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken), so good but so bad too! And then off to work in the den I went. I cleaned and organized a shelf that holds my model railroad and some spiritual supplies and then I cut pieces of foam insulation to create mountains and “rock” outcroppings on my model railroad. I had to clean up several times as I was never quite done and the foam insulation creates a bit of a mess that actually was not too bad to clean up.
Thank You Spirit.
I slept very well last night and even awoke before 6:00am feeling like I had enough sleep. I stayed in bed for another 30 minutes or so before deciding that was enough and got up. An early start to my day however I’m feeling quite in tune and balanced energetically and spiritually speaking and quite in harmony with the world around me. Must be something to do with my visit to and purchases from Reflections Books. (Books, candles, candle holders, crystal and necklace, chakra stone chip bracelet)
Thank you Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Man of Cups: An emotional adventurer. Tendency to want to emotionally rescue others. Drawn to emotional crises.”
Time to emotionally and spiritually sensitive to and in tune with our spouses, partners, and loved ones. This means connecting with them at a deeper, more spiritual and energetic level where we are in touch with our true feelings and the unconditional love that brings joy and harmony to any relationship. We must open our hearts to not only give love but to receive it too! Let’s radiate the pure love and joy of Spirit and create a brighter day for all those we encounter this day and each and every day.
Thank you Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The 3 of Swords Tempered by the 7 of Cups
Saturday, June 28th, 2014. A decent night’s sleep and it is all related to it being the weekend. This is the first job I’ve had that I lose sleep over on a nightly basis. I’ve never felt so wound over a job as I do with this one. My work days are quite intense really and I do feel a lot of pressure about doing it right. I’m never relaxed during the week although as Wednesday roles around I feel a little more at realizing that the weekend is near and I have a couple of days to relax and recover before the next intense work week starts.
However, as I mentioned I had a decent night’s sleep even though I awoke for a spell around 3:00am. I slept in until after 7:00am so I’m quite happy with myself and after getting the coffee going this morning I sat on the sofa and relaxed and somewhat meditated while holding an Amethyst Crystal Ball. I had to force myself to relax though as I put self-imposed pressure on myself that I needed to feel something. Once I got over that I did indeed feel the pulsating energy of the amethyst in the palm of each hand and more clear and relaxed thoughts filled my mind.
Thank you Spirit.
Spirit is and today’s visiting Tarot Card, from my “Whimsical” deck is the “3 of Swords: You misinterpret another's intentions. This could be a time of regret or separation, so keep your chin up and look for the light at the end of the tunnel. Don’t let nervousness or worry cloud clear thinking and action. When reversed: Progress is sluggish; delays are inevitable. Are you looking at things honestly? Find ways to take control of the situation.”
This morning I feel that the “3 of Swords” is being tempered by the “7 of Cups: Truth is soon revealed. Act kindly and calmly. This is no time to lose your cool. Re-evaluate matters and set some long-laid plans in motion. Call an old lover just to say you’re a better person for having known him or her. When reversed: Make sure you’re speaking clearly; high-strung emotions could cloud your message. You have very little patience just now. Try to relax. Let go of all your worries.”
The messaging is clear—do not make assumptions or too quickly jump to conclusions; keep emotions in check and rely more on logic and reason to sort the through the muddle of emotions that may be occupying our minds today. Our minds and thoughts are powerful and powerful enough to weave stories together out of nothing making them sound unbelievably true when however, they are not. Patience is all the more important when we awake to such a day and we must act coolly and responsibly and keep our focus on things that matter most—our loved ones, family, and friends as well as our long-term goals.
We must collect our thoughts and find ways to take a few baby steps today and see a little progress in the projects that we are working on that may have been delayed by work or other matters that also demand our attention.
For instance, I’m patiently waiting to see the results of my submissions for a website and how I want it to look in relation to how the website put my ideas together in design and layout. I’ also want to see progress on my model railroad. However, I must make progress happen by finding projects that I can work on in order to move both of the projects forward. In addition, I must also make a few phone calls and invite people to a 50th birthday party for my brother next month.
Much to do and only so many hours in a day. However, if we take each of these competing needs and break them down into step-by-step projects we can make progress on each and feel a sense of accomplishment in what we desire and need to do this day and each day moving forward.
Thank you Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The Youth of Coins, Being Active and Focused, and Not Ignoring Love Ones
Friday, June 27th, 2014. Another night where I rested well until I awoke an hour or so before the alarm and tossed and turned and dozed on an off until the alarm sounded. I’m handling this quite well and commune with Spirit. I’m not feeling as tired at night days either so I can stay awake past 9:00pm now without struggling to keep my eyes open. With the sound of the alarm out of bed we were and on with our day.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Youth of Coins: Focusing on the physical. Beginning a regimen. Matters relating to nutrition and exercise.”
My mental, physical, and spiritual health are top of mind and I’m also doing my best to focus on getting things done without ignoring other priorities in my life such as loved ones, family, and friends. I’m doing my best to stay active in every area of my life and make what I do count by focusing on the quality of my efforts and time spent with everyone I do throughout the day. Being active and keeping goals and projects moving along is one key to living a good quality of life. However, the important people around must also play a role. So be focused and mindful on what is important without ignoring the rest.
Thank You Spirit.

The Youth of Cups and Reconnecting with Our Youthful Emotions
Thursday, June 26th, 2014. I had a decent enough sleep until I awoke before the alarm yet again but no worries I’m getting use to it and trying my best to slip back into sleep mode or at the very least use this semi-conscious time to simply “be” and/or be “one” with Spirit. Upon awaking with the alarm I stumbled my way out of bed on got on with the usual morning routine…
…and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Youth of Cups: Youthful emotions. Daydreaming. Shyness.”
I’m becoming more connected to my emotions and more interconnected with my partner and a deeper more meaningful and more sensitive level. I’m more lighthearted than I have been in a long time and I’m even noticing that my mood is relatively the same day in and day out, no wild swings, just in that mellow mood that takes everything in without too much worry or anxiety to work me up or get me down.
My work day is becoming more focused and even relaxed to a degree and this is all a result of my becoming more focused on my spiritual self and connecting with all that is at a spiritual and energetic level. I’m becoming more focused on and dedicated to the job seeming that I’ll hang on to it for a while I might as well do my best and make the best effort and impression that I can in the workplace.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The 8 of Swords and Breaking Free
Wednesday, June 25th, 2014. Another night where I awoke an hour or so before the alarm however I fell back into a deeper sleep then awoke only minutes before the alarm. I’ll be glad when I control the hours I keep as in working for myself. But I’m in a good place now and finding myself content in taking responsibility for my life and my debts and other obligations.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “8 of Swords: The Crowded Subway. Restriction. Being trapped by your own biases and prejudices. Feeling lonely in a crowd.”
A simple reminder than even though progress is being made there are still a few stumbling blocks to overcome and transcend. The best way to do this is through meditation and opening our minds to new ways of thinking, new insight, and new ways of making decisions and thus moving forward and out these little and sometimes big ruts we find ourselves in.
Open the doors in your mind, roll up the shades covering your eyes--are you sabotaging your own future?
Let’s surrender to Spirit and move on.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The Sage of Coins and Co-operating with What You Have
Tuesday, June 24th, 2014. I slept well until I awoke well before the alarm and then I dozed on and off uncomfortably so until the alarm sounded. I’m not fully comfortable with or at my job yet as I do sleep and feel very well rested on the weekends even sleeping in on occasion. And if I do awake early I feel good about it. I still worry about missing something or making a mistake here and there. But the job itself is a good one and I’m happy to be working there.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Sage of Coins: Working with resources rather than trying to control them. A mature appreciation of the natural world. Patience.”
I’m feeling somewhat no actually quite content with where I’m at and I patiently waiting for something to be introduced to me in a week or two if not sooner. I’m not anxious about this reveal either as I feel satisfied that I’m on the right track and moving in a positive direction for and with my life. I’m in a good mindset as well as I’m on track and doing things for myself these days without sacrificing the important relationships in my life. I am in fact using my relationships as foundations and motivation to move ahead with my goals and plans. I’m utilizing the skills and talents I have to work with Spirit and fulfill my life’s purpose.
Thank You Spirit.

XII The Hanged Man and New Insights and Getting Rid of Old Baggage
Monday, June 23rd, 2014. I had a weird night of sleep. I had a difficult time staying asleep or even knowing if I was asleep then at one point I was eager for it to be time to get up—the night seemed to dragging on forever. But I also wanted to just sleep and not catch myself thinking about anything anymore. Confusing night all around. But I felt the strong presence of Spirit in my life and a strong guiding force from Tarot.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “XII The Hanged Man: Living in the moment. Being fully absorbed in the present. Nonattachment to goals. Seeing things from a new angle.”
As I thought about “XII The Hanged Man” this morning and again at lunch I realized that I still have some changes to make in order to fully and successfully move forward with my goals. It’s not that I’ll not get to where I want to be but if I become aware of and make these changes to the road ahead will have fewer obstructions and detours for me to work through and around. I’m still emotionally scarred and carrying around emotional baggage that I yet have to uncover but I have an inkling of where I need to look and how I can transcend it and leave it behind once and for all.
I also had some insight as to how to be more successful in the business I’m getting myself involved in and will need to pull a book off of the shelf, dust it off and reread it again so I can be better equipped to handle the clientele I know I’ll have when I officially “open” my door to begin receiving them as well as refresh a few things I need to do for myself so I’m more content in my own skin so-to-speak.
Thank You Spirit.

The 9 of Pentacles and Money Does Grow on Trees
Sunday, June 22, 2014. Happy Sunday.
I slept in this morning—must have been that two hour biked along the trails of Colony Farm out in Coquitlam under the sunny skies. Birds were singing to us as we pedaled along the trails that took our spirits away from the stresses and worries of life to the freedom of Spirit and nature as we let the sounds of the birds and caress of the wind soothe our souls and carry away our troubles.
Thank You Spirit.
Lunch was had at Fat Burger along the Lougheed Highway near Bouclair (we found some cushions for the sofa here) in Coquitlam. The staff greeted us with a warm “Hello” and welcoming and friendly smiles. The burgers as we experienced at another location were great and a perfect meal after such a joyous bike ride under the sun.
We relaxed the rest of the afternoon and evening as my partner practiced piano and I started creating a card for my brother’s 50th birthday we’ll be celebrating next month. I had an awesome sleep and to my surprise, slept in until a few minutes after 7am.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card from my “Whimsical” deck is the “9 of Pentacles: Look for opportunities to develop your creative potential and to prove what you can do. Start now! The time for paybacks and rewards is quickly approaching, but it will only come if you strive for success. When reversed: Plan carefully for whatever you hope to achieve right now. Don’t assume that everything will work out just as expected, and don’t be afraid to ask for help.”
The imagery on this card suggests that if we believe enough in ourselves as well as take conscious control of our lives and realize and overcome the weakness of our fears, our self-reliance can prove to be very successful and almost make us believe that money does in fact “grow on trees”. This does not suggest however that this is easy or is a guaranteed fact, it’s merely an awakening of our desire for success and the planting of the seed that yes, we can be successful if control our feelings, emotions and overcome our fears—fears that only have the power that we give them.
Yesterday, during our bike ride I thought of taking photos of things we might see along the way but then as we were riding along I was impacted with the need to simply enjoy the ride, closing my eyes on occasion just too simply “be” for a few seconds. This allowed me the understanding that I have taken control of my life and that I’m moving forward in the direction I wish to go. This ride also made me realize yet again that movement is in my genes and the truth be told, I am a nomad and need to be in constant motion. If those flat trails went on forever I’d still be riding them. I really enjoyed being there and in the moment.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The 3 of Coins and Embracing Individuality in Order to Help Others
Saturday, June 21, 2014. Midsummer, Lithe, Summer Solstice. May we all enjoy the meaning of this day through loving celebration and thankfulness for what we have especially, the gift of life.
Thank You Spirit.
I slept rather well. I vaguely recall awaking in the middle of the night however that seems more like a dream than reality. I awoke around 6:20am and stayed in bed a few minutes longer before deciding to get up and get on with the day. I gladly found myself in good and loving mood—a wonderful reflection of the bright sunny skies that greeted me as opened the drapes and allowed the light to enter the room bathing it in the early morning light.
Spirit, Tarot, and I danced around the room as I reflected on this day and all that I have been graced with in this life especially the divine touch of grace and everlasting love and presence of Spirit that is always embracing me.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “3 of Coins: A child’s room. Creating a positive environment for someone. Work done for the pleasure of it.”
As I chase after that which I am most passionate about and embrace my individuality I at the same time create a loving environment for my family and loved ones as the loving energy of Spirit is always with me. As I become more true to myself and do those things that bring me the most satisfaction and fill me with a sense of fulfillment and accomplishment I bring about a more happy and positive energy to my surroundings. Being an individual does not mean we abandon others, rather it is being true to ourselves that best allows us to be true to others thus allowing them to bring out the best in themselves.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

XX Beyond Judgement and Looking Into a Mirror
Friday, June 20th, 2014. I awoke much earlier than I wanted to however it focused my semi-conscious mind on finally and forever overcoming my past and the guilt associated with it. I had a revelation of sorts where I awoke after falling back to sleep for maybe 10 or fifteen minutes before the alarm and feeling free and unencumbered by what weight was holding me down and back from making the necessary progress needed to bring about real change in my life.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is “XX Beyond Judgement: Self-acceptance must come before liberation. Freedom from others’ expectations. Trying to make conditions better for others. Altruism. Pride. Self-acceptance.”
Although, I was somewhat tired in the early morning part of my work day I overcame that tired feeling and kept well focused on the work at hand even though I had some doubts about how well I was doing my job. During lunch is when I finally realized that I was living and doing things for myself for a change. I’m finally acting on what makes me happy and wanting to wake-up each morning. Building a model railroad is one of those things. Being a truly spiritual person and not hiding it is another. And finally, focusing on and developing a new career based on my spiritual nature is another.
By freeing myself of others’ expectations I live a better quality of life for myself that will then directly and indirectly have an influence on and a benefit to others. BY looking in the mirror and accepting and loving myself for who I am is a key to breaking free of others’ expectations of us and how we can best live our lives.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The 7 of Wands and a Reminder to have Faith and Belief in Ourselves
Thursday, June 19th, 2014. I slept quite well again last night even though I awoke in the middle of the night and took some time to fall back to sleep and awoke again a little before the alarm. All in all I felt good about it all but curling up and turning over to go back to sleep was very tempting. But, I swung myself up and out of bed and got on with the morning.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “7 of Wands: Fighting the wind. A Quixotic struggle. Winning against the odds. Confrontation.”
I have faith, belief, and knowledge that I will achieve my goals because I’ve made the decision to move forward and work toward them as best as and as fast as I can. The “7 of Wands” asks us to have faith in ourselves and bring about the resolve necessary to make decisions and move forward with plans that are of our making. Living for ourselves more than anyone else. This is what I am doing now. However, I’m doing my best to take a balanced approach so that I have stability in my life and minimize undo risk that can do more harm than good.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The Ace of Swords and Combining Logic and Reason with Emotions to make Progress
Wednesday, June 18th, 2014. I slept through the night and awoke 30 minutes before the alarm. Even though I wanted to sleep in and through the alarm I was also eager in a sense to get up and get started with the day. I dozed until the sound of the alarm at 6:00am and through my waking and sleeping moments I thought about many different things but always coming back to Spirit.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Ace of Swords: An idea. Starting to develop a plan or strategy.”
Through logic, reason, honesty, and truth I see my way forward. When we look at things with an open and honest mind we are better able to wend our way through the muck and mire and make real progress with our ideas, goals, and dreams.
This I realized today as many images of what my website might look like came to mind as the morning gave way to my lunch break and the early afternoon. As I sat and contemplated my website and my desire to move ahead with my plans I saw myself filling the various needs of many clients through coaching, Tarot, and chakra work. I then proceeded to make a few notations on website planning document that I’ll attend to after posting this on the blog.
Our emotions and feelings also have a place here but need to go hand in hand with reason and logic so we can make solid progress on a solid foundation from which to build our dreams upon.
Thank You Spirit.

The Youth of Wands and Using Excitement and Possibilities to Move Forward
Tuesday, June 17th, 2014. I slept quite well last night and it might have something to do with the “Breathe Right” I placed on my nose before going to bed last night. I was quite relaxed as I slept too and this is unusual for me. Oftentimes, I’m running through thoughts about work, the mistakes I may have made or things I might have forgotten to do. Thankfully, I can run those thoughts out of my mind by thinking about Spirit, Tarot, Chakras, Coaching, and working with others in improving our lives together.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Youth of Wands: Focusing attention on something. Reaching for a goal from a possibly unsteady foundation.”
As I reflected on the “Youth of Wands” this morning I realized that yes at the moment moving ahead with a sole reliance on a yet to be web-based business is too risky move to make however allowing myself to have exuberant thoughts and a sense of excitement about the whole idea is quite alright and only strengthens my resolve to get going and moving along with this business. As I looked over the proposed content for my website I was filled with excitement and a sense of fulfillment and completion as I realized that my decision to strike out I a different direction is absolutely right for me and project I must complete. Complete all in due time so that my foundation is not an unsteady one but rather a rock solid base for me to build and grow a business on.
Thank You Spirit.

The 9 of Swords and Finally Understanding This Card
Monday, June 16th, 2014. As is the case with most pre-work sleeps I slept well but not as good as I do when a work day is not haunting me through the time where sleep is most important. But I’m not too sleepy nor am I stressed out after a day at work. The mornings still tend to be too rushed for my liking but I’m not planning to awake any earlier than 6:00am.
I did my quick communing with Spirit and Tarot throughout the night and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “9 of Swords: Unquiet Dreams. Stress. Worries. Mental tapes which play over and over.”
I must admit that after our weekend get-a-way, it was a difficult day at work. I struggled to keep myself from being overwhelmed by all of the busyness of the morning. As I was trying to get orders entered and invoiced for tomorrow’s deliveries calls kept coming in and a few mistakes were made. That was causing my stress level and anxiety to increase to an almost explosive level. Thankfully, lunch arrived and I was able to reflect on the “9 of Swords” and come to the realization that I’m holding myself back by not accepting the future I most desire for myself. I need to let go of my worries and fears and believe in myself as well as realize that what I’m doing now is only temporary and that I’m human and I’ll make mistakes once in awhile.
I’m satisfied with where I am and do realize that I am doing what I need to be doing in order to pay back my dues as well as put myself on a more solid financial footing. So overall, I’m right where I need to be and must focus on growing and evolving, strengthening my skills in the a few important areas and continuing forward movement toward my future that is there waiting for me.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

3 of Wands, 10 of Swords, 10 of Cups, and the 2 of Coins
Sunday, June 15, 2014. What a busy weekend we had visiting and relaxing on Whidbey Island. Early last week we suddenly decided to take off for the weekend tossing around several different ideas before settling on a quick trip to Whidbey Island. My brother made a quick trip there a few years back and recommended that we visit. Unfortunately, the weather did not co-operate too much with us and most of the weekend was on the soggy side but we did eke out a trip to Joseph Whidbey State Park enjoying the waves crashing against the rocky seashore before taking a walk around a couple of trails that ran through the park. Before which we made quick trips to Clinton, Langley, Coupeville, and the Greenbank Farm. Oh, and we stayed in Oak Harbor.
Thank You Spirit.
Friday’s visiting Tarot Card is the “3 of Wands: Leaving the nest. Seeing progress. Something or someone you have nurtured must now strike out on their own.”
I have to allow the future I desire to unfold before me.
Saturday’s visiting Tarot Card is the “10 of Swords: You Choose the Script. You can choose to plug yourself into a negative viewpoint, or to unplug yourself from one. The end of a bad situation. Hysterical overreaction.”
This is a reminder for me to break free of and leave my past behind me in every sense of the word. I need to liberate myself and allow myself to be who I truly am.
And finally, today’s visiting Tarot Cards are “10 of Cups: The Ideal. Your secret dreams. Attainment. Unrealistic, wishful thinking.” and the “2 of Coins: Tai Chi. Flexibility. “Going with the flow”. Living in tune with your environment.”
I’m finding peace and harmony within myself by accepting , acknowledging and using my skills, talents, and abilities to help others through coaching, Tarot consultations, and Chakra cleansing, balancing, and alignment.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The 6 of Coins and Being Thankful and Heading Toward Financial Independence
Thursday, June 12th, 2014. I’m a bit sleep challenged these days. I sleep quite well for what is likely the first half to three quarters of the night but after that I’m only half sleeping. But so far it is not affecting me too much throughout the day and last night I was not even falling asleep as usual once the clock starts hitting 9:00pm. I did however manage to spend a lot of time with Spirit and Tarot so I’m happy about that.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “6 of Coins: Dependence. Resentment because of financial dependence on another. Charity. An unequal relationship.”
I’ve definitely improved my financial situation with this new job I’ve been blessed with and I’m very grateful to be working and earning close to a living wage since I live in a metropolitan area that has a high cost of living attached to it. However, at the same time I’m also postponing what I really want to be doing these days-living life as a nomad.
I’m not giving up so much as simply trying to accept that for the time being that I’m where I need to be so I can build a solid foundation for myself to build my web-based business on. I’m moving forward one step and one day at a time. My goal is to earn my own way and I know that this is absolutely without a doubt something I must do.
Thank You Spirit.

The Guide of Wands and Letting Your Best Qualities Shine Through
Wednesday, June 11th, 2014. I think I was half awake and half asleep for the last half of my sleep overnight and I could sense that I was working through the day with not having had enough sleep last night. My work day was a bit disorganized and confusing for me and not at all to my liking but I go through it. Although my lunch hour seemed to be alright and after two weeks of trying to replace the headlights in my car I finally succeeded today. After many frustrating attempts I realized that I needed to find a way to keep the light secure and immobile while I fastened the cap that holds it in place and lo and behold a bit of two-sided scrapbooking tape did the trick.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Guide of Wands: Feeling possessed by a creative project or inspiration. Being inspired to help others. Doing what’s right.”
The “Guide of Wands” is letting me, letting us all know that we need to use our existing natural talents to bring about change in our lives which will then bring about change in the world as well as allow us to help others bring about change to their own lives too! I’m glad that I’ve been reminded of the charm and charisma that people once saw in me many years ago and I’m glad to bring it back and allow it to once again be a part of what makes me who I am.
The development of my website has flourished as a result of me allowing more of my positive past self to shine through these last few days and I feel much better as a result.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The 10 of Wands and Changing the Way We Feel About Burdens
Tuesday, June 10th, 2014. I did not sleep well and felt as if I was barely sleeping for most of the night. When the alarm sounded I wanted to simply curl up and fall back to sleep. But alas, the job was calling so out bed I went. Although, I did spend some time with Spirit and as I lay half awake so not all that bad really when I get to be spiritual.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “10 of Wands: The Burden. Responsibilities. Obligations. Overcommitting yourself. Realizing that burdens are a part of life.”
The image on this card is of a young man walking along a lonely stretch of highway with a puppy in tow. Although card is primarily about burdens seeing this card pop up every once in awhile always evokes a sense of a need of travel within me. However, I do appreciate the sense of burden it represents and I understand fully that I am struggling through the burden of holding down a full-time and well-paying job to get to where I want to be.
Realistically as much as I know and understand that this job is not really that much of a burden I also know and understand that I want to somewhere else but I have to work a little while before I get there. How do I manage? By keeping focused on my goals and what this job is teaching me and how it is helping me to gain the necessary knowledge and insights to succeed when I’m on my own as well as well setting me on solid financial footing so I do not have debts to worry about and will instead have the necessary savings t carry me through when times might get tough.
I also realize that I need to provide myself with a better work life balance and make sure I find time to enjoy life by doing things I like to do such as working with Spirit and Tarot, model railroading and reading magazines and blogs about the RVing lifestyle.
So for me the underlying messages of the “10 of Wands” are to find a way to make burdens less of a burden and perhaps more enjoyable as in thinking about what we learn from them and how much stronger we are because of them as well as finding the right work-life balance so we enjoy life a little more than the burdens that we encounter in our day-to-day living.
Thank You Spirit.

The 4 of Swords and Breaking Through the Past and Landing in the Present
Monday, June 9th, 2014. Another work week has started and I’m one day closer to the weekend and one day closer to launching my website and growing my business. I’m going to submit my initial template sometime this week just to ensure I’m on the right track and maybe get the ball rolling with this proposal as well. It’s not like my website cannot be changed and adapted to better suit my wishes, needs, and clientele.
Thank You Spirit.
I slept quite well last night although I awoke hot a couple of times and had to throw the comforter aside once or twice. And even with awaking at 5:00am I did manage to get in more sleep before the alarm sounded at six. I wanted to sleep more but I’ll leave that for another day. I did my best to connect with Spirit and Tarot, shuffle the Tarot Cards and reveal today’s visiting Tarot Card, the “4 of Swords: Napping Between Rehearsals. Resting and gathering strength for the next phase. A vacation or “time out”.”
Hhhmmm…as I contemplated the “4 of Swords” images of me taking a solo vacation came to mind and as I thought about this card at lunch I envisioned myself sitting at my altar with a deck of Tarot Cards reflecting on a few of them as I enjoyed flickering candlelight and sweet aroma of incense swirling around the room. I took the time at lunch to throw my past, my worries, and regrets to the wind and watched as the wind carried them away. Then I spoke in present tense accepting my role as “helper” as people contacted me for Tarot Readings, Coaching, and Chakra Cleansing and Alignment through my website. I even had images of working with a client via Skype regarding his Card of the Year. All of this taking place in my new van conversion. And if I remember correctly I was parked somewhere in the US not here in Canada.
Thank You Spirit for helping me clear away the past that has been holding me back. Thank You for guiding me to websites, books, and magazines that open my heart, mind, and spirit to the words and sage advice that has led me break free of my past and come home to the present with one foot heading into the future.
“4 of Swords” is asking us to take a step back and take a more objective look at our lives, circumstances and situations. With the courage of Spirit with us, what can we honestly see and what can and will we do to improve our present moment? The answer is there, we just have to open our hearts to see it.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

Blessed Be.

The 5 of Cups, Page of Cups and XX Judgment - Oh, boy!
Sunday, June 8th, 2014. We had quite the peaceful and relaxing day after going out to run an errand and take care of the weekly grocery run. We went out for our afternoon coffee and then took a stroll along the river before coming back home to do a few chores, clean and organize and then relax for pretty much the rest of the evening. Although, I made dinner, it did not seem too much of an imposition for me to undertake and in fact was in itself quite relaxing and filled me with great joy.
I slept quite well. Had a few vivid dreams of family and friends that kept me resting and sleeping well through the night. Heck, I slept in until 6:30am.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “5 of Cups”. Although, I sometimes have regrets and feel that I’ve lost years of my life through much wishful thinking, I’ve also gained insights and taken advantage of many opportunities that have come my way. Loss and gain are sometimes one and the same if we take an in-depth look at our “loss” for many a time if we look through we will see that we have learned a valuable lesson and that there is something better waiting for us beyond our loss. Yes some losses are significant however we must never let them bring us down into the depths of despair.
The “Youth of Cups” can help us work through and overcome our loss as he fills us with his youthful and vibrant energy and significant love. How can we use this energy to see our way through troubled waters?
By looking at “XX Judgment” and seeing that we can get off the fence and make decisions without casting blame on ourselves or others for things that may go wrong or not work out quite the way we imagined they would. The best way to do this is to realize that we do not always need to nor should we try to live up to or abide by others expectations of us. Make a decision for yourself and to fulfill your own expectations and rid yourself of the self-imposed control that you give to others over your life.
Perhaps, this is the sense of “loss” we have been feeling—the disappointment or disapproval of others. Overcome this and perhaps, you’ll feel much better about yourself and some of the decisions you have made and actions you have taken.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The King of Wands, 0 The Fool, and XIX The Sun - What a Day!
Saturday, June 7th, 2014. I slept very well last night. My whole mind, body, and spirit were quite relaxed and rested very well even if I opened my eyes to a clock face showing that it was only 6:00am. Since the morning was bright and beckoning me to hop on out of bed I quietly slipped out of the bedroom and here I am.
It’s 7:37am and I’ve already lit a candle, some incense and worked with Tarot and Spirit as well as get some scones made. Well, the dough is actually chilling in the refrigerator for about twenty minutes. In another five minutes I turn on the oven and get those scones baked for breakfast.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “King of Wands”. I’ve learned from my mistakes and using the insight gained from learning from those mistakes combined with my charisma and natural talents I’m moving forward with and to my goals and dreams. This card is about going out and doing your own thing. As long as you change course so you do not make the same mistakes twice and view yourself from a larger maybe slightly tainted perspective the path should be clear and fairly straight forward to follow.
And “0 The Fool” is asking us to take a leap of faith and get over the fear of making a choice. The key message here is to at least try. If we fail, then at least we can be happy that we tried and we may even further insight on how better to move forward with our plans.
The overall energy around today is very good as “XIX The Sun” is here to signify success and happiness as it turns the light on so to speak so our thoughts are positive and light the way to how we can achieve our dreams and goals.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The 8 of Coins and Making Tedious Work Enjoyable
Friday, June 6th, 2014. I awoke a little too early for my liking and I had a hard time falling back to sleep. I was dreaming about work related stuff as well as my developing business and this played on my mind as I drifted in and out of sleep.
I was close to falling asleep as we tend to lay in bed for a few minutes after the alarm just get more conscious and ready to crawl out of bed. Today was a tough one to throw those covers off and get on with the day. But I did it and survived the day.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is “8 of Coins: The Factory. Skill and mastery. Tedious, repetitive labor. Slow and methodical progress.”
I’ve got a couple of projects to work on and do my best at. One is my job and the other is continuing to develop my business. I’m still learning at the job and I’m still fine tuning the design of my new website and learning more about Tarot, coaching skills and, working with stones, crystals, and cleansing, clearing and fine tuning my chakras so I can do the same for others. But this is what is required and although it is slow and maybe even a little tedious I’m doing my best to keep my enjoyment level up and on a positive track. I’m warming up to my job and learning to keep my focus on it as the work day progresses. I’m living more in the present as I’m comfortable with the knowledge that my goals are come to fruition in a timely manner and that I’ll be successful in such an undertaking as I have a good solid foundation to continue building on.
We have to do our best to ensure that we keep a positive frame of mind when doing tedious and repetitive work and the best way to do that is to try and figure out ways to make it more lighthearted and enjoyable. I do this by looking at the positives of my job. It’s full time, pays well, is teaching me new skills and how necessary it is to stay focused and dedicate my full attention to the job and the company that has taken the chance to employ me. I’m making progress on paying off my debt as well as building up my bank account. My job will give me the opportunity to be successful with my own business and this is nothing but a good thing.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

XII The Hanged Man and Living in the Present to Have a Better Future
Thursday, June 5th, 2014. I had a good night even awaking early and being okay with it. I tried to simply “be” and let Spirit work with me as I simply opened myself up to the power and presence of Spirit as I let my drift to and fro with sleep coming and going as I lay in a half slumber.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is “XII The Hanged Man: Living in the moment. Being fully absorbed in the present. Nonattachment to goals. Seeing things from a new angle.”
I’m working my way out of a rut through positive change in my life. Old habits are falling by the wayside and realistic thoughts and evaluations of my present life and my future goals is allowing me to develop a clear path to taking control of my life and writing my own story and realizing my goals. My timeline is fixed yet flexible as I’d love my first day of full time self-employment to take place on October 31, 2014—Samhain also known as Halloween. But I need to ensure that I’m working on a solid foundation that will allow me to be comfortable and successful forward from that date.
Goals need to be real and attainable but at the same time we cannot be wrapping our lives around them 24/7. We need to give ourselves room to breathe and focus on the present without constantly worrying about the achievement of our goals.
Celebrate and work with today knowing that through a strong self belief and confidence in your abilities to control your life and write your own story you will realize and celebrate your dreams and goals.
Thank You Spirit.

The Guide of Cups and Being Led By the Love of Spirit
Wednesday, June 4th, 2014. A decent night’s sleep with a couple of wake-ups through the night and awaking 10 or 15 minutes before the alarm. I think I even had warm-hearted and touching dreams as I awoke feeling like I was a very helpful person through the night and wanted to continue with my helping attitude and ways throughout the day. This thought crossed my mind several times as I went about my work day.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Guide of Cups: Messages from your heart. Altruism.”
I long to be a helper and as I move toward my goal of setting my own business I shall do my best by the divine touch of grace to help as many people as I can without burning myself out in the process. This has all been taking root, sprout, growing and blossoming in my life over the past month or so. Last night as I sat here writing I remembered how I was approached by so many people throughout my early years as they longed to heard and I lent them my ear as they all deserved to have someone listen. Many times this is all that is required—a willing ear.
As far back as I can remember I’ve longed to help people and now after all these years I am left wondering why I did not get into a helping profession. But no regrets, blame, or worry as I’m doing it now, thanks to the divine touch of grace and the strong everlasting presence of Spirit in my life.
Offer an open heart, an open mind and two ears willing to listen and let someone tell you their story. Simply listen, don’t pass judgment and let them speak until they are left without words to carry on. You don’t have to believe everything they are telling you but be kind and keep your emotions and attitude in check. Let your heart, let Spirit guide you and you will do all right.
I’ve found my purpose…
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

Youth of Wands, Drive, and Building on a Solid Foundation of Success
Tuesday, June 3rd, 2014. Again I found myself awaking at least an hour before the alarm. I try not to let it bother me as I gladly hop out of bed on the weekends when I awake early. However, since it is a work day I get a bit miffed that I’m not sleeping right through to the alarm. But I try my best to use this semi-conscious state I find myself to think about all things Spirit to relax, to grow closer to, and to grow stronger in spirit.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Youth of Wands: Focusing attention on something. Reaching for a goal from a possibly unsteady foundation.”
I’ve got the drive and zeal of youth behind me giving me the self belief and confidence I need to continue moving forward with my goals however I also need to ensure that I am also building these steps on a solid foundation of success. I get a sense that I’m on the right track as I was quite energetic and with clear mind at lunch today and was able to come up with better content for my business plan. I was disappointed that I had to watch the time though as I was getting on quite the role but could not be late getting back to work.
No worries, I’m moving forward at a strong and steady pace and will have things humming along pretty darned quickly. By the divine touch of grace I’ve discovered myself, my purpose, and my old youthful self again.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

VII The Chariot - Confidence and Belief Can Carry Us Forward
Monday, June 2, 2014. Although, I awoke 2-3 hours before the alarm and struggled to stay asleep the day went well and I was never at any time struggling with trying to stay awake or keep a clear mind. I guess I slept soundly enough before that time to make-up for the lack of sleep the last few hours of my sleep cycle.
I did my best to commune and work with Spirit and Tarot and today’s visiting Tarot Card is “VII The Chariot: Among the highs and lows of life, make sure you enjoy the highs. At the top of one's game. Seizing an opportunity. Having everything under control (barely).”
I feel a high level of confidence in myself and have a solid belief in my business plan and goal to get it off the ground. Yesterday after spending several hours out and about I made significant progress on reading through and editing my website template to the point where I am almost ready to submit it. A couple of things are holding me back. One is photos for the website. The photos I have are not large enough for to send to the web designer to use. So I’ll be asking a friend with a keen eye and interest in photography to assist me with a photo shoot. The second thing holding me back is the business name. I can easily create a website with the name but I should submit it for approval as well as register it so I’m not breaking any rules as I’ll be selling services and products through my website.
I’m focused on the result I wish to achieve with my undertaking and this is allowing me to focus on and go to work each day. This is a decent job and well paying job I have and I’d be foolish to give it up when the income I earn is helping pay down my debt and save a little each month so I’ll have some savings to cushion me while I transition from being solely an employee and a somewhat guaranteed paycheque to a self-employed business person. But I’m hoping to see interest in website and requests for coaching and tarot services so I can see some merit in quitting a full-time well-paying job.
I’m confident though that I’m on the right track as my idea fits in very well with images I’ve had popping up in my mind on and off for many years now. More to come
So “VII The Chariot” is letting us know that we can exert a lot of control on our success and if we pay attention perhaps, we’ll some external influences to help push us along as well on our journey to whatever goals each of us is hoping to achieve. Additionally, we are also encouraged to enjoy the good times as much as we can by focusing on them more than what we may be lacking.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

0 The Fool and Learning to Believe in Myself and Trust My Heart
Sunday, June 1st, 2014. I apparently have no desire to sleep in on the weekends as I am awake as early if not earlier than the time I have to get up on a work day. But the “alone” this gives me is invaluable and so important to me that awaking early is what I’ll continue to do.
Thank You Spirit.
We had a great day yesterday. We met up with some friends and then drove over to and hiked around Minnekhada Regional Park. We stopped and had lunch on the High Knoll that overlooks the Pitt River and farms below. A great place to stop, enjoy the view and recharge the spirit and rest before the return trip to the parking lot.
After our hike we drove back to New Westminster, parked our car at home and then walked over the Brooklyn Bar and Grill for a couple of drinks and two plates of their Macho Nachos. After a couple of more hours of great conversation among friends we walked our friends to the transit station and said our goodbyes with hugs all around.
Thank You Spirit.
As I was getting myself a glass of water this morning I briefly experienced being in a van conversion. As I pouring the water into my glass I had the distinct impression and image of being in a “my” van conversion. I don’t own one but it is on my list of things to ponder but the experience maybe lasted for 3 or 4 seconds as I finally realized and got startled by the experience. Crazy!
Thank you Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is “0 The Fool: Accepting and exploring one's sexual identity is a journey of self-discovery. Beginning a new and exciting venture. Going beyond the limits of social convention. A non-conformist.”
As I read, pondered and looked at the card I felt and had the sense that this was about me checking in my immaturity at the door so I can believe in myself, trust my heart, and take a not so blind leap of faith and start my own spiritual business. I feel a strong need to do this, this is not simply a whim, desire, dream, or goal, it is a need I have to fulfill.
Thank You Spirit.
