'19 The Sun of Life' and Recognizing Our Connection with the Universe

Tuesday, November 24, 2015.  Another night of on and off sleeplessness.  I awoke a few times then again about 30 minutes before the alarm.  I guess my sleep is more or less over around the 5:30 mark as I strongly believe that I awake every day at this time.  Can't be certain as I do not always look at the time but I pretty certain this has become my natural time to awake to the world.  I'm sleeping with stones and crystals under my pillow as I said yesterday and I think changes are taking place within me.  I can't really elaborate but something new and exciting is at work in my life.

We are being asked to recognize where we come from and exactly how intricately connected we are to the universe that although seems so distant and vast is intricately interwoven in our lives and nearer than we think as it dwells within us.

It is indeed time to allow ourselves receive the cosmic gifts being offered to us as the "Sun of Life heralds a season blessed with joyous enlightenment, robust health and emotional harmony."  And the best way to have this happen is to let "the inner sun at the core of your being shine for all to see, bringing warmth, light and harmony to others..."  And from personal experience I can say that by letting my inner sun shine I've brought smiles to the faces of co-workers and provide a more lighthearted and even handed energy in many job related conversations.  When we allow it, the ball of fire in the sky brings out the best in us and allows a truly meaningful interaction amongst a variety of individuals.

'19 The Sun of Life' and '12 The Mirror' and Light and Shadows

Thursday, November 12, 2015.  Yesterday we had an early morning even though we could have slept in all so we could spend the day with a friend with a trip across the border.  We made a quick jaunt down to Edison, Washington and picking some baked goods at the Bread Farm Bakery.  Then we returned the same way we came and made stops in Fairhaven and Bellingham, two cool little towns that we love to visit every now and then as they have cute, charming, and historic downtowns.  I was not planning to purchase anything but returned home with a small paper bag full of goodies-incense, candles, incense and candle holders, and a t-shirt and hoodie.  Oh, I picked these things up at Third Planet in Bellingham.

After a walk along the Fairhaven boardwalk we stopped for a delicious lunch at Dos Padres, a great little Mexican restaurant we discovered a few years ago.  We stopped for coffee a little later at Woods Coffee in Bellingham.  A couple of more stops and then we were on our way home and across the border in no time at all.  We arrived home around 7:00pm so we spent a little less than twelve hours in the Us and as a result had a great visit with our friend.

Today's Tarot Energy is "12 The Mirror: Patience and prudence are the keywords here, although trust plays a large part in the process of crossing to the island where insights into our own unconscious workings may be revealed.  This process differs from the journey of the Hooded Man, who makes a conscious decision to withdraw and contemplate the universe.  In the Mirror, a surrender of will is required.  Insights may come from dreams and meditations, but now is the time to force the pace or drive on with a plan or desire until you have heard what your soul has to say, and your bruised and wounded spirit has been healed.  Be patient.  Let the journey commence and awaken afresh and full of energy, ready to deal with the world and the challenges it raises."

Surrender of will is the energy of the day.  Give yourself over to Spirit and allow your inner shadows to be revealed and see the light of day.  Listen intently to the voice of your soul and allow yourself to washed, cleansed and purified.  Allow the realignment that is necessary take hold in your life and give you the wherewith all to awaken and face a new day of change and the gift of life for yet another day.

'The Sun of Life' and Letting the Flame of Creation Burn Brightly Through You

Thursday, September 10th, 2015.  Another relaxing evening watching 'Power and Politics' and CBC's 'The National'.  I'm usually quite excited about following politics however, I'm ready for the campaigning to be over with and putting the whole election behind us.  I guess I'm more focused on spiritual matters and our impact on nature, each other, and how I, how we can make a difference.  I'm also trying to do my best and stay focused on the day job I have as I feel and strong urge to get out the road.  I feel something tugging at me to get in Serenity and put her in drive and just go, go anywhere really as long as I just get moving.

I slept well and wanted to sleep more after the alarm serenaded us this morning.  I find that I'm sleeping very soundly until somewhere between 4 and 5 in the morning then once I roll over and fall asleep again the active dreams kick up keeping me intrigued, entertained and partially awake so much so that I felt groggy this morning and not really eager or ready to hop out of bed but I managed to get going pretty quickly.

"19 The Sun of Life", "7 The Archer", and the "Knight of Stones - Horse"

Saturday, May 16, 2015.  A quiet Friday evening at home after a busy work week is a welcome respite from the madness of a work-a-day life that scatters my energies all across this region of metro Vancouver.  I even hit the gym after work last night and was that ever a joy.  A good workout always releases the tension and stresses of the day.

One thing I've noticed over the past week or two is that I'm becoming more enamoured with and forming a deeper connection with Tarot, with Spirit.   Tarot is streaming through every atom of my being so I'm able to feel, understand, and breathe in fully the life and meaning of each card as they enter and visit me each day.  Today is no different and for that matter three cards dropped in for a visit today as I was contemplating the actuality of living life on the road as I'm Wizard Oron, the Traveling Wizard.

I'm taking steps to move forward with my desire to live on the open road, living the life of a nomad, that of a traveling wizard where I can draw inspiration from Spirit as I traverse the continent so that I may then use this inspiration to inspire others to be more than they believe they can be.  I draw on the "Sun of Life" to give the energy need to carry forth and inspire.  I draw on the skill and mastery of "The Archer" to carry my plans forward, and ride on the back of the "Knight of Stones-Horse" to move with great energy along my path.

"19 The Sun of Life"

Sunday, May 10th, 2015.  Yesterday was a great day.  We awoke, had breakfast and made the drive out to Fort Langley with our bikes so we could ride the Fort to Fort Trail.  We took our time both driving out there and riding along the trail and the quiet country road.  Our ride started around 10:30am and ended around noon.  Total distance travelled according to Map My Ride was 12.59km round trip.  We put the bikes back on the bike rack, cleaned up and strolled Fort Langley looking for a place to grab a bite.  We ended up at Cafe Planet Java, a 50's inspired soda fountain cafe and burger joint.  As was with the case with our previous visit, the food was great.

On our way home we did our weekly grocery run, stopping at Meridian Gourmet Meats and the Real Canadian Superstore in Langley.  Oh, we made a quick drive out to and stop at Kustom Koach RV to look at a '96 Van Conversion they have on their lot.  I like the unit but dismissed it because it doesn't have a shower.  On our drive home we discussed that and decided that a shower isn't super important as there are always places along the way in our travels where we could grab a shower...so maybe I'll give this unit a second though and look.

We relaxed the rest of the afternoon and evening before crawling into bed around 10:30pm.

Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is "19 The Sun of Life".  The light of the universe shines in all of us.  It's up to us whether or not we let it shine through us and into our world bathing everyone else in our light so they too can let their light shine through.  "19 The Sun of Life" is asking us to grow, evolve, and move beyond our humanness so we can see the world through the vast generosity of the cosmic soul.  We are being challenged to be greater than we imagine ourselves capable of being.  We can do this as the Sun's ray cleanse and purify every atom of or being thus allowing our flickering light to burst forth and become the cosmic light of the universe here in each of our little part of the world.
