The 'Youth of Wands' and Doing Our Best to Maintain Our Balance on an Unsteady Foundation

Monday, July 11, 2016.  We headed out for an early brunch with my brother and his "girl" friend before returning home in the hopes of relaxing and catching the game between Portugal and France before heading out to an early dinner with some friends.  We barely walked in the door and another friend was asking us to meet him down at the quay.  So we did, walking along the quay before walking him to his car.

We had about an hour to relax before showering and heading out so I took a quick catnap.

Dinner and conversation were as great as always.  We had lamb, sausages, corn on the cob, a green salad, potato salad and cheesecake.  Every single dish amazing!

We got home and relaxed about an hour before going to bed and I fell asleep introducing myself to faceless individuals, advertising my services as a Spiritual Guidance Counsellor and as the night ticked by I awoke here and there with glimpses of clients, referrals and a lot of travelling.  Cool!

My focus is on how I can help others better their lives.  Not that I think everyone is not living a good life but I'd like to inspire, encourage, and convince them to take a look potentials and possibilities.  To convince them to open up their hearts, minds and spirits just a little bit so they can see what can be...
...am in a good position to take off running with such a career move?  No, I'm not but it's so tempting to just go out on a limb and dive in with both feet.  But I won't.  At least not yet!

But I'm taking some steps to get to the point of making it happen.  Have a look at my car door magnet and new business cards:

I ordered them from Vistaprint.  I like the look of them.  They could be better but they will work for now and at least I have a means of advertising and a way of communicating with people.  I'm also going to look into advertising in a couple of different publications, Common Ground and Issues For Empowerment.

Got to build myself a more solid foundation and a means of making it a smooth transition when I do finally make the leap.  And I need to do it sooner rather than later.  I've been talking about this for way too long!
