The 'Ten of Stones, Home' and Being on the Road and at Home in Nature

Saturday, July 16, 2016.  Had a really good night's sleep.  Very relaxing, healing, and meaningful.

Decided to walk down to the park and river, well rather park bench plucked down on the old paved parking lot just outside of the park but with a great view of the fast and free flowing Fraser River.  I sat and relaxed as best as I could soaking up the welcoming morning air and great energy of Spirit and Nature...my mind becomes clear, relaxed and in tune with me, my natural state of being and all that I am and the greater whole of which I am a part.

Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot Energy is the "Ten of Stones. Home: The traditional concept of home and family has evolved and change over the last few decades, but certain basic notions remain unchanged.  In the traditional British family, where the father went to work and the mother stayed home to manage the house and the children, home was the place we always came back to, where stability and a well-founded set of traditions and social rules applied.  It was both guarded and guided by love, respect and loyalty.  As children, we see  home as a place of security and caring.  As young adults exploring the world, it can be wherever you lay your hat or guitar case.  In later life, it may become your own heart's stronghold and sanctuary.  For some, the concept of home is just that: an idea, a hope, a dream, not merely a shelter from the elements or an investment in bricks and plaster.  For some, it truly is where love resides and is the final destination after a colourful or arduous life journey."
Interestingly enough the "Ten of Stones" last appeared on August 1st of last year, the day I picked up my new to me camper van, Serenity.  And as the energy of the "Ten of Stones" worked its way through me, images and thoughts of my van filled my mind.  Especially of parking her in the parking lot behind the bench I was sitting on this morning.  But not before the idea of coming home as I travel the roads and highways of North America.  The idea of home filled me with images of criss-crossing this continent, of fulfilling my nomadic and wandering tendencies, of being home in whatever part of nature I found myself camped in along my never-ending destination-less journey.

Home is being inspired and filled with the knowledge and wisdom of the land in each new place I visit.  Where I stop a thousand times in a day as I glimpse for the first time a new natural wonder whether it be rolling hills, another mountain, a raging river, or trickling creek, or a calm serene lake, or a grove of trees, or simply a rock on the side of the road.  Home is the sense of wonder and awe that fills me each time I get out and become a part of the natural world of which and where I belong.

Thank You Spirit.

Namaste.
