Sunday, July 10, 2016. Feeling quite good after a full and satisfying night of sleep. I'm battling a bit of a summer cold along with some allergies I think so such a night of undisturbed sleep is very welcome.
We had a quiet and peaceful day yesterday. Our only activity composed of a brief walk along the quay, visiting Tre Galli for coffee and shopping for our weekly groceries after dinner.
This morning we're going over to visit my brother and his girl friend and have brunch with them, blueberry pancakes are on the menu. Late afternoon/early evening we're going to have dinner with some friends as they're swapping homes with a couple of guys from Spain and would like us to be contacts here in Vancouver for them. An uncle and nephew, I do believe and they sound a bit shy and awkward. We'll see how this goes as they arrive near the end of the month and our friends will be out of town then.

We must not allow such a work ethic as this to blind us to opportunities or embracing potentials that are out there that will allow us to create our own success. We can work hard but do so while keeping our eyes open and remaining flexible enough to accept possibilities to do or doing something different.
Let's work hard, be reliable, dependable, and responsible but allow the fluidity of life to flow through us instead of being so dogmatic as to keep chance away. And we must embrace work with passion and emotion..let's give our hard work some life, let it be alive as it should be.
