8 The Stag, Personal Responsibility and Being Open to Adjusting Our Thinking

I didn't realize I hadn't posted anything since Tuesday.  It's been a tough week for some reason.  I lost my focus and seemed to be operating aimlessly and mindlessly as I was just not into or feeling anything.  I perked up briefly when I discovered that Sage Woman, Witches and Pagans and Circle magazines all have issues out that are right up my alley.  But then I withered a little bit and felt like a living breathing human shell without mind or brain...and then yesterday afternoon upon returning to the office I discovered that I messed up some shipments I labelled on Tuesday.  How could I do that?  I'm at a loss for reason because the packages all have packing slips on them and all one needs to do is match the shipping label to the appropriate boxes.  Only two mistakes have been discovered but I awoke in a panic that all six or so shipments might have been mislabelled.

I'm feeling better now that I'm out of bed and have my candle and incense burning and tarot decks out.  And of course, having picked up the current issues of Sage Woman and Circle magazines yesterday has filled me with much needed energy.  I might simply order a digital edition of Witches and Pagans so I can have all three but I'll wait until after Monday as I'll have an opportunity to stop by a different bookstore and see if I grab a print copy from there first.  Something that gets sucked out of me at the job is my energy.  And with not having gone to the gym all this week nor being spiritually focused has left me totally drained.

I totally understand this card on a personal level however it is also my wish, my desire that all people get to understand the meaning of "8 The Stag" especially in the United States where the political climate may be bring that country back into the past that so many people struggled or lost their lives in order to bring about positive and morally and ethically responsible changes to the way people were treated.

I understand my responsibilities in life and am doing my best to change my circumstances and situation so that I can better serve mankind on a personal and more intimate level, if you will.  Removing myself from my current job is I admit a struggle for me but I know that it's the right thing to do and that I need to leave it and focus instead on doing spiritual good works.  Perhaps, almost like following in the footsteps of Jesus.  I'm not a christian, however the life and story of Jesus to me is a good one and I have no problem in believing in his existence just not the religious institution that was built upon his name and life's works.

This is the responsibility I feel and feel that I need to take on and do something with.  I want to help open up hearts and minds so that people can experience the beauty of and the meaning of life as I have but as it is for them.

'8 The Stag' and Taking Control of My Life

Saturday, February 20, 2016.  Had a decent night of sleep even with awaking here and there and then by the time 5:30 I was wide awake and my eyes wide open of free of any sleepiness or tiredness for that matter.  I would have to say that I was almost raring to go.

"Honesty and integrity" have been top of mind since I awoke yesterday.  I need to act with "honesty and integrity" in everything that I do and I must strive to be honest and true to myself and all that I wish to do and accomplish in life.  Responsibility for my life rests solely on and with me so if my isn't what I want it to be I only have to look at myself and the decisions I've made to see and understand why my life is the way it is today.

Yes, outside circumstances beyond our control may come into play however we can still weave and wend our way around and even transcend such difficulties if we really and truly put our minds to the test and see what we're made of.

And if anything the least we can do is to start fresh today, this very instant by declaring 'this is my life and now I take control of it and I accept and take responsibility for all that I do from this day forward.

We hosted another successful New Year's Eve Dinner. The food was highly complimented and everyone except we hosts went up for seconds and maybe even thirds. We rang in the new year watching our local broadcaster and their live coverage of the first new year's eve celebration in Vancouver that included two fireworks shows, one short two minute burst at 9pm for families with young children and a ten minute burst of pyrotechnics at the stroke of midnight.

Today, I briefly meditated with flickering candle flame and the swirling smoke of "Spiritual Guides" incense and these are the Tarot Cards revealed to me this morning:

For these are the necessary actions I need to take in order to really move ahead with the achievement of my goals instead of having them always be just barely out of reach. Now I have a reliable home on wheels to combine with the knowledge and wisdom gained over the past year as well as the recognition of the role I must play in this life.

'8 The Stag' Being Objective, Truthful and Maintaining Our Spiritual and Physical Well-Being

Thursday, December 3rd, 2015.  Last night was another early evening for us...crawling into bed round 10:30pm.  We watched a bit of television...a couple of our favourite programs - 'This Hour Has 22 Minutes' and the 'Rick Mercer Report'.

I awoke early and knew that it was late enough and yet early enough from the alarm for me to get up and have a bit more of a relaxing morning so I quietly slipped out of bed around 5:30am.  I enjoyed the few extra minutes I had to be one with Spirit and Tarot.  I do my best to give and show appreciation for being blessed with another day of life and of living as well as for the home I live in and all the gifts I have been given throughout my life.

Today is about bringing objectivity into our lives in order to restore balance and bring harmony into our lives.  We need to be social and effectively communicate with others where the truth is out in the open, is well received and any wrongs are righted.  Look for healthy ways of exercising both your spirit and your body so that we can steer ourselves clear of bad habits and bad situations that can lead to and get us in trouble.

Let's focus our energy on good tidings, loving thoughts, and extending our spirits to everyone we meet so that they may see a touch of Spirit in us all and where smiles grow on our faces and love fills our hearts.

'8 The Stag' and Fluctuating Societal Rules and Regulations

Wednesday, December 2, 2015.  Last night we decided to go out to the movies, well a movie, Victor Frankenstein and what good and well acted movie it is.  The acting was in our opinion, superb!  Before hitting the movie we had what for us is an early dinner...homemade pea soup...delicious.

After the movie we came home and had some tea and cookies.  Then an hour or so later we were crawling into bed for what for me was a great night's sleep.  I did awake at some point to use the loo however I quickly fell back to sleep and then awoke mere minutes before the alarm.

This appears to be a time of fluctuating and changing societal rules and regulations as "8 The Stag" also appeared on Monday.  Also, the climate is top of mind as over 150 countries discuss climate change and how to deal with it.  Will they find an agreement and will it be enough to blunt the ever increasing changes to our climate?  Or is it already too late?  Perhaps, we're in for a rough and stormy winter.

"8 The Stag" is asking us to be prepared and draw upon our inner strength and courage to face the coming changes that must take place in our lives.  It's time for us to reap what we have sown.  And so this is again a time to "Face the coming season with honesty and integrity and trust to right and appropriate action."

'8 The Stag' and Our Call to Action

Monday, November 30, 2015.  Sunday's are an odd day for me as I like to stay home and just be lazy but then I sometimes get depressed because the weekend is quickly coming to an end.  By the time Sunday rolls around I've just gotten onto a roll of accomplishing things and don't want to stop however a work day follows and a decent bedtime is a must.  Aaarrrggghhh...

I had fun this weekend having a nice outing on Saturday that was balanced with working on a hobby that has been coursing through my veins since I was about seven years old...model railroading.  And if this wasn't enough I also interacted with Tarot and Spirit along the way...

...I am Wizard Oron, after all.  And Wizard Oron is on the move.  I'm getting more and more proactive and active in driving toward a more self-reliant lifestyle however it come to be.  By self-reliant I meant working for myself and living as frugally as possible.  My aim is to work every day of the month with a goal of earning anywhere from about $75 to $100 per day.

How do I plan to earn this money?

After much thought it is by offering spiritual coaching, intuitive and chakra balancing services all rolled into one deal.  My goal is of providing clients an initial 2-3 hour session with 3 to 4 thirty minute follow up sessions over the next one or two months following their initial session.  I'm here to help and help in as many ways as I can.  An objective spiritual voice guided by Spirit...our connection with the universe and to each other...

Transition, Change, and Doing Right By and For All

Wednesday, October 28th, 2015.  Spanish class last night and packing up my brother's car as I sent all of my card making and scrapbooking supplies with him as I'm giving them to my niece and he is spending a few days looking after her and her brother, our nephew as my sister and her husband take their first ever vacation without the kids.

I've been going to bed relatively early and sleep very well and almost right through the night most times until the alarm serenades me out of my slumber.  This morning I awoke at 5:30am, laid in bed for a few minutes then got up.  Getting up a little earlier makes my mornings less rushed as I am making my breakfast and lunch whereas it is most times prepared for me.  Spoiled, I know!

Spirit Is and Tuesday's Tarot Energy was the "Six of Arrows, Transition: The primal impulse here is to move beyond old boundaries and personal thought processes and deploy new methods of reasoning to resolve important issues.  Some obstacle may challenge older methods, and new, more dynamic responses are required to adapt to a new set of paradigms.  This can be an exciting process.  The journey may be scary, since letting go of old and previously effective processes can be unsettling, but the unseen tides that drive the need to evolve are already pulling you to a new experiences and places.  Trusting in your own instincts and skills to absorb change is essential to overcome new situations.  Take advantage of your subconscious forward momentum and ride the new wave with an open heart and positive mental attitude.  Welcome any new process with confidence and apply your skills to effect healing renewal.  Embrace well-tried experiences also, as the Wheel inevitably turns, and enter into these personal changes with a stoical enthusiasm."

My mind has been wondering about exactly how and where I should direct my life.  I know I wish to delve full time into all matters of Spirit however something I heard last week struck a nerve with me, if I can call it that.  At least that's the phrase comes to mind.  However, my point is that what I heard last week was that one should not seek money when using their spiritual gifts or they risk losing them.  I've always wanted to just do Tarot Readings and what not with money exchanging hands however I thought this necessary in order to finance, if you will, my travels around North America.  I wish to seek out new friends and see the vastness and beauty of this continent as well as all the people fortunate enough to call this place home.

So I welcome change and transition with open and arms with a willingness to seek as well as see where change will take me as I embark on a spiritual career where I do it not for money but the common good of all I encounter, including myself.  I look forward to meeting the parts of me revealed as I embark on and as this journey unfolds.

'8 The Stag' and Taking Ownership of My Life

Monday, October 19th, 2015.  Election Day in Canada!  I hope everyone here in Canada has or is exercising their right to vote.  This is the 42 federal election in Canada.

We had a decent day yesterday as we joined a couple of friends and took a look at the Animals Inside Out exhibit at the Telus World of Science most well known as Science World.  The exhibit is very similar to or the same as the Body World's exhibit that came to Vancouver several years ago.  Then we had a late lunch at Red Truck, our meals were much better than our first visit.  Then we returned home and relaxed for the remainder of the day.

I'm responsible.  I'm a responsible person.  I'm responsible for my own life.  I take my responsibility seriously and take full control of my own life.   My life is my own to live and I need to take ownership of it and make decisions about my life that are best for me.  I am doing so right now as I write this and I'm moving my life in the direction I wish to, no make that I want to go and am going.

'8 The Stag' and Our Personal and Global Responsibility

Tuesday, September 8th, 2015.  The work week has started and it's made all the more bearable because I know that I'm on the right path.  It's also because we booked our first camping trip in Serenity our new camper van.  My path was made all the more clear with today's visiting Tarot, "8 The Stag".

Yesterday we spent the day at home and stayed close to home in our quick outing for a quick coffee and to pick up a few things we missed our weekly grocery run.  The day was quiet, the evening calm and serene and a quiet visit with a friend whom dropped by so we could catch up.  Then the evening quickly gave way to bedtime.

As I mentioned earlier, today's visiting Tarot is the "8 The Stag: On a personal level, some kind of adjustment or interaction has taken place.  The key word here is 'responsibility'.  We must, as individuals, constantly observe the rules and regulations of society, and these can fluctuate as the views and knowledge of civilization change.  Whether on a political or moral level, we subconsciously know when a realignment of our perception is due.  This is a time to welcome the justice that has arrived with the coming of spring and the fire of creation.  Face the coming season with honesty and integrity and trust to right and appropriate action."

We've messed up our guest privileges here on this beautiful planet we call earth and we're also doing a great job of letting each other down.  We must remember that our stay here is temporary and fleeting yet look at the damage we inflict on this planet let alone each other.  We can only hope that we have not worn out our welcome and Gaia, Earth is not getting ready to take some action on her disrespectful and misbehaving guests.

Some of us have awoken and are hearing what once were only whispers but now are becoming louder and more discernible voices from all aspects of nature and people and parts of society that are hearing the call...change your ways, awaken, recognize who you are, and realize that you are more than thought.  Heed nature's call to come home.
