Tuesday, June 30, 2015. This another one of those odd weeks where we have a stat day in the middle of the week so tomorrow we're off for a day to celebrate Canada's birthday then Thursday it's back to work. But I'll do my best to enjoy and the celebrate Canada's birthday. Likely that'll include driving out to Chilliwack to test drive a 2005 Pleasure Way Excel TS Van at O'Connor RV.
I'd love to purchase such a vehicle but I'm also feeling a little apprehensive about it too! I want to have it bomb around in when we go on hikes or for a bike ride but I don't like the idea of having another bill to pay even though it'll be a nice investment. I love the idea of taking it on the road. I wish I had a place here at home to park it.
Last night was sort of disorganized for me even though I was feeling good about journaling about the Tarot of the day as well as from reading 'Science of Mind'. I guess the disorganized feeling came about when I decide to research and make a post on my website 'wizardoron.ca'. I published a post and found a way to link it to the website but then I lost track of where to go to publish the post in its entirety as the 'read more' link does not appear to work. Aaarrrggghhh!
Yay! I fixed the issue with the blog on my website and dinner is over and done with as well. So far, so good.
Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is "9 The Hooded Man: The time of the Hooded Man is here. Whether he appears in the guise of an inner guide and mentor or simply as a state of mind, you will understand that now is a time to withdraw and rest. After a long journey through the Wildwood, many emotions and experiences need to be absorbed. This is the beginning of understanding - not just of yourself, but the universe. The hermit-like Hooded Man appears differently for everyone. Whether through meditation or solitude in the mountains, through prayer or holidaying in a secluded place, his light will illuminate the way to the heart of the endless cycle of being."
Rest, simply be, do not think, or be restless, just be. Do not get nervous, worked up or stressed out simply allow yourself a moment or two of solitude, of simple serenity...no phone calls, texts, tweets, or facebooking...instead make a point to turn it all off..focus and give all of your attention to the Hooded Man. Let him distract you for a second and let time seemingly stand still.
Take a deep breath and be at peace.
Grace and peace to you.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

'7 The Archer'
Monday, June 29th, 2015. I had a very relaxing Sunday evening. We made our way to the beach early in the day arriving at our chosen spot around 11:30am or so, leaving shortly after 1:30pm. We had lunch on the beach, opting for two Bison Dogs from Norman's Spirit Grill. They were very good. Not too sure how the rest of the afternoon played out but the evening was great. Oh, we had a grilled chicken salad for dinner.
I was sitting on the sofa and not relaxing very much so I decided to take my stuff outside onto the deck where I must have sat for a couple of hours or more reading the June 2015 issue of Science of Mind magazine. What an uplifting and spiritual read. Awesome!
I'm a changed man. I'm a spiritual activist. My choices are aimed at bringing more love and good into this world. Humility, clarity, forgiveness and love are my states of being. I've claimed my authentic power. I'm standing my ground. I've overcome my ego and Spirit is my loving guide.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is "7 The Archer: The dawn of a new adventure, folded in the web of universal potential, waits for you to string the bow of your imagination and loose the arrows of creativity. This is a time to be bold and commit to the hunting of new life and a better relationship with the world, as well as the fulfillment of wholesome ambition. Take a moment to gather your tools and steady your state of mind. Take careful stock of what you want to achieve, why and how you will go about it. Then harness your potential by filling your quiver with all the talents, knowledge and cunning you possess and string the 'bow of burning gold' with the 'arrows of desire'. Take a deep breath and be calm. It is time to let your soul take flight."
Be still and know deep down in your heart that you will find success. Leave no room for doubt and instead fill your soul with the love of the universe and let pour forth and shine through in all that you do. Let love lead the way knowing that your arrows will always find their mark.
You know without a doubt that which you must do. Follow your hearts innermost desires and let loose your yearning for a better way of living and a better life all around. Follow your arrows as the glide through the air for they will lead to where you need to go. You have the knowledge, skills and talents to fulfill your potential.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

' 3 The Green Woman'
Sunday, June 28th, 2015. I decided to stay home and focus on wrapping up as many kitchen projects as I could as well as cleaning up the house after, what is it, four weeks of kitchen renovation. We have a couple of little things to do here and there but at least the rest of place is now free of clutter and most of the dirt, dust, and debris that accumulated during this major undertaking. I feel much more at ease now that the living and dining areas are back to their original uses.
I thought that going out to the look at the camper van (2005 PLEASURE WAY EXCEL TS) O'Connor RV in Chilliwack was not a good idea however, I kept thinking about the van all day and even wrapped my evening by looking at photos of it. I've put a deposit down on the unit subject to a viewing and test drive but that's not going to happen as we have other plans today. However, I do plan to put an offer on the unit sight unseen just to get the ball rolling with a plan to look at and test drive the unit on July 1st, Canada Day, if they're open or the weekend following.
We ran a few errands in the afternoon yesterday as well as taking care of our weekly shopping as the heat is on here in Vancouver and we want to hit the beach today. I/we spent the late afternoon/evening completing the home chores as I mentioned earlier. We wrapped up the chores around 10:00pm then grabbed our showers, relaxed a little and the crawled into bed. I slept in this morning, opening my eyes around 6:39am...nice.
Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is "3 The Green Woman: Appearing at a time of rich nurturing and protection, of learning and initiation, when loving and fertile relationships, both human and universal, abound, the Green Woman mediates the sacred sovereignty of the Earth's soul and can show the path to understanding and communion with nature. But with this blessing comes responsibility. Remember that this glorious, magnanimous and generous spirit can live through you, radiated by the sacred breath of life and given to others who need guidance and healing. Learn from the abundant and joyous spirit of the Earth and be at one with the world and your true self."
We are being offered an initiation into the spiritual realm by the ' Green Woman' where we can open ourselves up to learning, understanding, and communion with the earth and bountiful nature that is a integral and sacred part of Gaia. We need to learn and grow and strengthen ourselves so that we can lead by example and share our blessings with others through love and generosity.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

Seven of Bows, Clearance
Saturday, June 27th, 2015. I finished installing the venting for the range. It didn't come exactly as I planned it nor does it look very pretty but it'll do the trick. Since I didn't finish this until almost 7:30pm we decided to go out for dinner and ended up at 'Bubble World'. Dinner was pretty good, service was a bit slow but not unexpected and as has been our experience in the past in other establishments similar to this one our meals came out about fifteen minutes apart. No big deal though. We also had one of their fruit slushy offerings. A good overall meal that didn't break the bank. One thing I really loved about the restaurant is the decor. Very well done!
We came home and relaxed for the rest of the evening and then crawled into bed around 11:00pm. I slept well for awhile, then tossed and turned the rest of my sleep and slipped quietly out of bed around 6:00am.
Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is the "Seven of Bows, Clearance: All things must change and evolve, and however well prepared or carefully constructed your tools and skills, challenges and obstacles may require rethinking and relearning. Bows wear out and eventually fracture under constant use, stress and tension. Arrows warp through damp and strenuous flexing and lose their strength and accuracy. Change is a natural part of the process of renewal although it can be painful (pain brings change and change brings pain), it must be seen as a positive turn of the Wheel and necessary for new life to begin. Welcoming the clearing of the old and worn and preparing the ground for new growth is vital. New shoots and spring saplings will be starved of light and nutrients in the soil if the ground is not cleared. Old boughs and stumps should be removed to ease the process of saying goodbye to a tool or concept that has outlived its practical life. By allowing the passing of the old and clearing of the ground to take place with an element of welcoming and acceptance of change, the feelings of relief and poignancy may aid the healing process, giving comfort."
What do we need to sweep away from our lives to make way for new growth and evolution? How can we best organize our priorities and make effective decisions? The time prioritize and make decisive decisions is today!
It may pain us to let something go or even by simply postponing to a better time however we must build ourselves a solid foundation on which to grow and in order to do this we often have to weed the garden so-to-speak.
For me, as much as I desire to purchase a camper van, this is not the time for me to make such a decision or take such a financial leap. I'll postpone such a purchase to the fall while I build myself a foundation that will provide me with the solid footing needed to handle such a significant purchase.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The '3 of Swords'
Friday, June 26th, 2015. Nights are surprisingly restful these days. Neither the heat nor the stress and worries of work are keeping me awake at night. Now I only need to sleep soundly and be awoken by the alarm instead of awaking minutes before it.
Our kitchen project is wrapping up. We still have little projects to complete however I think most of the more cumbersome projects have been completed. We have a few receptacles and switch plates to change, some touch-up painting to do and some wax and oil combo to apply to our wood countertops.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is the “3 of Swords: The Wreckage. Feeling heavy-hearted after an emotional storm. Feeling hurt or betrayed."
The “3 of Swords" visit today surprises me and I'm at a loss for words. As I thought about this Tarot's visit today, I came up empty as to how to apply to this day, Friday, June 26th, 2015 with the moon moving into Scorpio. I suppose as I reflect on yesterday I remember a day filled with heavy mental and psychological stress right up until I left for home. I do not feel hurt or betrayed and in fact I was feeling like I need to really and finally strike out on my own and live my life as best I can as 'Wizard Oron, the travelling Wizard'.
However, I am thankful for the “3 of Swords" visit today and will fall asleep with this Tarot on m mind.
Thank You Spirit.

XVII The Star
Thursday, June 25th, 2015. Sleep last night was quite sound and since having slipped into bed early I of course, awoke early. However, I still managed to remain semi-sleeping until the alarm sang to us.
Today's Tarot is “XVII The Star: Spirit is Real. Hope. Serenity. Clarity. Having faith in an underlying or overlying spirit. A dream becomes real.”
Spirit is within us all and grows stronger and guides our lives ever more as we meditate and live with love and peace as states of being rather than ideals to chase after. Spirit walks with us and even carries us on occasion and most of us can always find something to feel thankful for, to show gratitude for or even humility. Hope keeps us moving forward and is likely based more on experience rather than expectation as many of us have hope for and received blessing close to our hearts or innermost desires.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

11 The Woodward6 The Forest Lovers and Love Leading the Way
Tuesday, June 23rd, 2015. Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is "11 The Woodward: Through adversity or the process of rebalancing in life, we find courage within ourselves that flows from an unknown source. Sometimes that courage has to do with facing unavoidable truth or dealing with a person or problem that no amount of physical confrontation or emotional bravery will resolve. The Woodward's strength, drawn from nature's inherent power to renew and overcome, is needed if we are to foresee what is to come and wait upon the turning of the seasons. Sometimes, when faced with a challenging situation, we must find our own inner backstop, the point from which we will not retreat or from which we can move forward with quiet confidence. The Wildwood ethos has to teach humanity about calm, resolute strength."
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.
Wednesday, June 24th, 2015. I thought I was sleeping well however I believe I'm having lucid and more active dreams than is normal for me. My last hour or so of sleep tends to be quite hectic in terms of the subject matter and related activities.
I'm still doing quite well with communing with Spirit over the course of my sleep as well. If I do find myself more awake than a quick conscious awareness that I've dropped out of REM sleep then I doing a little spiritual attuning. Works great and sometimes I even remember the day's Tarot and meditate on it for as long I'm awake.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is "6 The Forest Lovers: On a personal level, love is a universal gift to the generous heart, and the seeker will find balance trough inner harmony and healing. Polarity is e key element in the natural ebb and flow of emotional commitment. The Forest Lovers represent a positive spiritual focus of creative emotional energy and a universal desire for harmony. The inhabitants of the Greenwood revere and respect the rites of love as the force that ensures the unfolding cycle of creation and emotional stability. Always bring the light of love with you; allow it to illuminate the darkest corners of your world and support you through whatever you set out to do."
As we go about our days love should be squarely in front of us when we walk out the door to greet the world another day. Love should shine forth as we drive or commute to work and as we cross paths with people on the street or while we are grabbing our morning cup of coffee at our favourite caffeine retailer. Love must fill our spirit. Love must encompass our aura and we must smile with our hearts and souls. Love goes along way as we go about our day and people will for sure take notice.
Thank You Spirit.

'6 The Forest Lovers'
Monday, June 22, 2015. Our busy weekend is behind us and now we try to get back into the swing of things and finish our kitchen. I started on the touch up painting when I got home from work. We were on a roll yesterday but had to cut our efforts short in order to get to our friends for their afternoon BBQ. We left at eight o'clock so we had a decent amount of our Sunday evening left to relax before going to bed and going to bed early at that.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is "6 The Forest Lovers: On a personal level, love is a universal gift to the generous heart, and the seeker will find balance trough inner harmony and healing. Always bring the light of love with you; allow it to illuminate the darkest corners of your world and support you through whatever you set out to do."
In order to love and love freely you must first love yourself and for many of us this an almost insurmountable challenge. However, before we can ever profess true and unconditional love for another we must first unconditionally love ourselves. Take a long hard look in the mirror and unmask yourself so that all that is left for you to see is your true self, no false facades hiding what you do not want to see or allow others to see of your inner identity. Do not be afraid to look and do not be afraid to acknowledge what you may hate of yourself. Let it come to the surface, take a close look at it, study it, and allow it to be. But do so with love at the forefront of your mind and thoughts. Love every part of what you see before you and then release it, let it go in love and then it will become a better part of who you are.
Be generous with yourself so that you can be even more generous with others. Awake with love. Fall asleep with love. Let love permeate every atom of your being. Allow love to be your natural state of being.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The 'Page of Arrows - Wren' - Study and Re-Awaking Hidden Skills and Talents
Sunday, June 21, 2015. Summer Solstice. Midsummer. Have a great celebration everyone!
We piddled around the house, getting the walls ready for the peel n stick backsplash as well putting things away or discarding them in one of the many recycling bins downstairs. We took a quick walk to our local Rona store to buy longer screws for the two handles remaining to be attached to a couple of drawers as the originals are too short and dessert for the BBQ. We had an afternoon coffee before my in-house haircut then it was a bit of relaxation before heading off to our friends BBQ.
The dinner and conversation were as good as always. We had a salad, roasted red peppers with cheese, barbeque chicken, rice and beans, and a toasted garlic and olive oil infused baguette. And we brought dessert, a strawberry and rhubarb pie from our local bakery, Pamola, a great pie made even better with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
We returned home a little before midnight, enjoying a quick glimpse of the waxing moon crescent filling the night sky...beautiful. We crawled into bed around 12:30am.
Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is the "Page of Arrows, Wren: Study and application brings wisdom and understanding which can be applied to most situations. Your youth and determination will carry you forward and your nascent skills bring you to a dynamic realization. Watchfulness, Mystery, Determination, Work, Scholarship, Wisdom, A vigilant guardian."
We've been challenged to surrender, change and heal as of late and now we are being asked study, learn and apply what we learn to our everyday lives. We need to identify and strength our hidden skills and talents and put them to good use in bringing more light, hope, and inspiration to this world one small step at a time. Starting with ourselves, then spreading out to family, friends, neighbours and co-workers and even the people that pass us by on the street.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

Blessed Be.

Page of Bows - Stoat and Being a Spiritual Diplomat
Saturday, June 20th, 2015. On my way home from I work I was contemplating not going to the gym but I couldn't miss out a good workout after missing so many days at the gym over the course of our kitchen renovation. Did it ever feel good to get in a good workout. I must not forego the gym anymore and must simply go regardless of the time I get home. I need to work on my muscles and my cardio. It feels so good to be active. Speaking of active, I noticed that walking on sidewalks with a slight incline is more difficult for me than walking up a steep trail when we are out hiking. I notice more the elevation gain walking on concrete than I do walking on a dirt or gravel trail. I take this to reaffirm my love for and interconnected relationship with nature.
So after the gym I relaxed as I drank my protein shake then I got on with making dinner: pasta with Mizithra Cheese and Chorizo Sausage. It was delicious and we paired this with glasses of V8 juice.
After dinner relaxation came by way of communion with Spirit as well as by reading one of my favourite blogs "A Life By Design" by Rae Crothers. I'm a couple of months behind her current posts but that's okay as it provides me great and relaxing reading material before heading off to bed. I have two other blogs I still need to catch up on to: "RV Dreams Journal" by Howard and Linda Payne and "goin' RV Boondocking" by Brian Gore. Blogs I read for inspiration and encouragement to do my own thing.
Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is "Page of Bows, Stoat: Often, you are seen as an emissary and, as such, your gifts are widely recognized and honoured. Your ability to perceive the truth in almost any matter is vastly helpful and your freedom of spirit marks you out as an original and unique personality."
Doing my own thing is really all about Spirit, a spiritual and magickal life lived truthfully, honestly, and lovingly. When I simply let myself 'Be' Spirit, Tarot, the Otherworld are what fill me with joy, love, and happiness. Yesterday as I was a passenger in a work vehicle, we were driving down Willingdon Avenue in Burnaby with a clear view of the north shore mountains and I thought to myself "I could stare at this all day'. The view was beyond words and description. The sun and clouds were playing a game of light and shadow on the mountains and I was in awe of the view before me.
We must learn to be true to ourselves and do everything that we can to live our lives in that truth. However, we can bring, find, and maintain balance in our lives between spirit, family, friends, relationships, and work we must do it.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

12 The Mirror and Inner Discovery
Friday, June 19, 2015. We are slowly getting our home back in order. The kitchen is coming together and we are reclaiming use of our dining and living room spaces. A dozen or more boxes have been emptied in waiting cupboards. We'll get more finishing work done on the kitchen tomorrow before heading off to friends for a barbeque and we'll do the same on Sunday...a little bit of work, then off to others friends and their barbeque.
Sleep was okay as I awoke a few times and then just as I was getting in my last fifteen minutes, the phone rang, not once but twice...a private number and no message left...aarrrggghhh. So I simply communed with Spirit while awaiting the sound of the alarm.
Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is "12 The Mirror: Patience and prudence are the keywords here, although trust plays a large part in the process of crossing to the island where insights into our own unconscious workings may be revealed. This process differs from the journey of the Hooded Man, who makes a conscious decision to withdraw and contemplate the universe. In the Mirror, a surrender of will is required. Insights may come from dreams and meditations, but now is the time to force the pace or drive on with a plan or desire until you have heard what your soul has to say, and your bruised and wounded spirit has been healed. Be patient. Let the journey commence and awaken afresh and full of energy, ready to deal with the world and the challenges it raises."
The mirror is the reflection of our true selves, the inner core of our being that few ever catch a glimpse of, or even get to know as we are too focused on the outer busyness of our lives to take notice of and really get to know who we really are. Surrender yourself to the inner you, to the gift of Spirit so you can learn to truly and wholeheartedly live life and live it to the fullest and most deep and meaningful way possible. Learn the real value of your life. You will be amazed at what you discover.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

'3 The Green Woman'
Thursday, June 18th, 2015. Had a decent night's sleep with a few semi-conscious moments here and there and awaking probably twenty minutes before the alarm but all is well. We crawled out of bed and got on with our day.
I find I'm most feeling at home when I'm out and about in nature and if I'm driving I love to be traveling on narrow roads that are hemmed in and almost made invisible by the forest and other foliage of the Earth that surrounds them. 'The Green Woman' is again reminding us that we are very much a part of and should celebrate, love and respect that we are very much a part of Earth and that the very essence of Earth's spirit dwells within our own.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

VI The Lovers and Compromise
Wednesday, June 17th, 2015. Woohoo! Our kitchen is ninety-nine percent functional. The plumbing is hooked up and we have running water into a new deep beautiful sink but just one itty bitty little problem...the drainage pipe has two small leaks. Drat!
However, we cooked our first complete dinner in our new kitchen. I'm happy about that. Yes, we have to install the backsplash, hook up the exhaust pipe for the microwave exhaust function, and cut and put into place a shelf but at least we can finally use our kitchen.
Last night I slept right through and awoke just around the time the alarm was supposed to go off...it didn't! I opened my eyes and saw 6:04 but I had to close and open my eyes again to confirm the time...yup, 6:04. My old phone was off...so jump out of bed we did to get on with our morning. Not too bad, just a few minutes behind schedule.
Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is “VI The Lovers: A relationship is always a mingling of differences. A powerful relationship. Seeing both sides of an issue. Flexibility.”
Celebrating our differences in terms of appreciating all that makes each of unique individuals is a great way to build and enhance the power and strength of any relationship. Let's look at ourselves through the other person's eyes. What do they see when they look at us and how do they truly perceive us? It's much better to find bridges and connections rather than focusing on what may separate us...sounds like compromise to me.
Is it easy? Likely not, however, if the relationship is something of value and worth investing in then make the effort and give the time to make the relationship a successful one. I'm stubborn and likely a bit arrogant and egocentric but I do my best to move beyond these traits and focus on where and how I can bend and afford to make changes or open myself to new ideas, outlooks, and modes of thinking. And guess what? I do it and lo and behold I often feel better by doing these things. And my slight arrogance and egocentric behaviour is pretty much non-existent these days.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

'21 The World Tree'
Tuesday, June 16th, 2015. A interrupted night of sleep. I think it was a little on the hot side and having a disorganized household doesn't help much either. Although the kitchen is nearing completion we still have work to do. The 'Smart Tiles' peel and stick backsplash tiles arrived yesterday or rather we picked them up from our local Canada Post outlet down the street in the back corner of Pharmasave. Now we are waiting on the plumber to come in a reconnect the plumbing under the kitchen sink. With that the kitchen will at least be functional and all the other little projects should come together rather quickly.
Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is "21 The World Tree: The universe and all its blessings are available to everyone who seeks knowledge and wisdom with a sincere heart. On every level, the cosmos has a generous bounty and gives freely of its rich nourishment and fulfillment. No matter how long the journey of life may be, however many twists and turns the maze may offer us, in the end, if we persevere, we will reach the point of fulfillment. This may relate to material gain and wealth or to spiritual happiness and emotional security, but after the long process of learning, responsibility and rebirth, it is now time to bathe in the light of renewal, attainment and personal triumph. Breathe in the rich air, drink of the sweet water and rejoice in the warming fire of the universal life force."
Approach life and all that you do with a sincere heart and a willingness to grow, evolve, and learn as this will bring great rewards and much fulfillment. Life is a journey and as we all know a journey is something that we should savour and enjoy as much as we can for as long as we can regardless of the twist, turns, detours, and bumps and bruises we may get along the way.
"21 The World Tree" should fill us with eternal joy and happiness as it is clear sign that we are on the cusp of becoming one with the universal consciousness, soon to be filled with infinite wisdom and knowledge and a greater understanding of who we are and why we are here.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

'20 The Great Bear' Hanging Around Another Day
Monday, June 15th, 2015. We had lunch with my brother, a quick walk along the quay and through Pier Park, and a little sit down and rest conversation with him before he headed off to do his own thing. Before my brother's visit we did a little bit of work to make further progress on wrapping up work on our kitchen. Then as three o'clock approached we headed over to Landmark Cinemas to take in 'San Andreas'...an okay movie but nothing too special in my books however it was some easy entertainment for the afternoon and I walked out of the movie feeling good about myself. Before heading home we stopped by 'Subway' to grab dinner as we had more work to do get ourselves more organized and functional in terms of meal preparation and use of the kitchen as much as we can use it.
I slept well and spiritual matters were top of mind as I slept. I also kept my attention focused on '20 The Great Bear'. So my night was filled with Spirit, Tarot-- The Great Bear', van conversions as well as visiting and talking to my sister. I awoke earlier though and struggled with sleep until the alarm sounded...then it was on with a new day...
...Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is "20 The Great Bear: The only thing in life that is assured is that, if you wait long enough, it will change. How you survive that change and who you are after it is up to you. The major element in this process is judgement of yourself and others. This may relate to an assessment regarding a personal matter or situation, and could be linked to the process of forgiving. It may also relate to a group or social decision. In the process of judgement, both as an individual and on the universal level, honesty is the key. Be honest, be forgiving, be patient, but most of all, be assured change is at hand. Remember, the universe has a long memory. Nothing is ever forgotten."
Major changes are in the works with '20 The Great Bear' hanging around for a second day. We need to take a long hard look in the mirror and have a deep and meaningful conversation with ourselves too! We need some perhaps brutal honesty to be had so real change can occur where forgiveness and patience play a big role.
I'm not surprised by seeing '20 The Great Bear' again this morning. In fact, I think I was almost expecting it considering how much I spent on thinking about it while sleeping.
I'm ready...
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

'20 The Great Bear'
Sunday, June 14th, 2015. The bright beautiful ball of fire, otherwise known as the Sun welcomes me from my slumber. Another early morning. It's only the odd Saturday or Sunday where I will truly sleep in. This morning I was awoken and moved by Spirit around 5:30am.
Yesterday was a continuation of getting our kitchen back together and I think most of the heavy and messy work is behind us. With a couple of simple projects left to do and the installation of the new countertop and final plumbing connections this coming week our kitchen will be complete.
We ate lunch and dinner out--lunch was had at 'Extreme Pita' and dinner at the 'Old Spaghetti Factory' both here in New Westminster. Both meals as delicious as we have to come to expect from these two establishments. Though my favourite part of going to 'Extreme Pita' are their smoothies and the Beet and Blueberry Smoothie is unbelievably good!
We'll be meeting my brother for lunch today--he called yesterday and we had a brief conversation about what's been happening in our lives as of late and decided to meet for lunch today. I'll propose a movie as well as we're planning to go and see 'San Andreas' this afternoon.

It's time to be honest with ourselves and find the courage and more so the desire to pass through the cosmic fires so we can experience renewal, rebirth...allowing ourselves to be rebuilt and reconstituted by Spirit, to become all possibilities and be another shining light of Spirit here on the earthly plane of existence.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

'Page of Vessels', 'Ace of Bows', and the 'Two of Stones'
Saturday, June 13, 2015. We'll end up being without the full use of our kitchen for two weeks. Our quartz countertop will not be installed until this coming Wednesday or Thursday then the plumber has to come in to create and connect the water lines and drain pipes to the sink. I could probably do it but its best done by a certified plumber simply because we live in a condo tower and I do not want to be held responsible for any potential leaks that might occur as a result of my work.
Our household has been turned upside down by the kitchen renovation. I'm sure we will soon forget the mess we've been living in for the past week plus one ore but it is off-putting and stressful to be in and responsible for the disorganized mess we find ourselves in.
Last night we cut our oak butcher block style countertop to size as well as the resized old butcher block one so it could find a new home in the pass through. It makes a huge difference in the look of this open space between the kitchen and our living space. I can't wait to enjoy it when this project is completely wrapped up.
We'll likely be eating dinner out until the kitchen is complete as dinner is the most challenging meal to eat when we have no working plumbing in the kitchen. Too many dirty dishes are produced and we just don't have the useable space to create such a mess then no means to wash and clean up after such a meal.
However, all through this process I've been very calm, level-headed, patient, almost serene and very much in tune with spirit and nature. I have a great sense of wholeness and belonging that I do not ever remember feeling before. Although I still have a job that I go to and a full work day to complete I do not feel too burdened by this as I rather feel more like Wizard Oron than being an employee paying my dues and earning my keep.
A shift in consciousness and spirit has occurred deep within me and change is definitely afoot. I am slowly but ever surely filling the shoes and role of Wizard Oron as my natural state of being and true identity.
Spirit Is and Thursday's visiting Tarot is the "Page of Vessels, Otter: As a dreamer and a visionary, you weave a spell that few can resist. Your loyalty, devotion and sense of fair play mark you out as an individual whose will is tempered by profound understanding of the otherworld. Loyalty, Devotion, Study, Willingness to serve, Vision and contemplation, Co-operation, Perceptiveness."
Friday's visiting Tarot is the "Ace of Bows, Spark of Life: By shaping, directing and persevering with the tool that both hunts and nurtures fire, we kindle the spark that starts the process of creation and empowerment. This takes skill, effort, commitment and persistence, but the universe always responds with enlightenment, challenge and opportunity. This is the nature of the human relationship with creation, and leads to a deeper awareness of the part we must play in the great scheme of things. Harnessing the energy inherent in the bow, and the skill and endurance needed to loose the hunter's arrows accurately and efficiently, are as primal and ancient as human existence itself. Every native tribe on Earth developed the bow as a tool, and choosing, shaping and tuning the bow stave and the arrows is a time-consuming and demanding craft that hones our skills and widens our knowledge of all materials required in this ancient art. This also includes the habits and patterns of nature associated with the prey the hunter seeks and may infuse the archer with a new respect and reverence for the creatures that inhabit the Wildwood. Be prepared to learn new skills, adapt to a changing environment and focus and tune your instincts to the task at hand."
Today's, Saturday's visiting Tarot is the "Two of Stones, Challenge: Many challenges or rivalries are born of insecurity and subconscious issues with peers and colleagues. Usually, it is these emotions rather than actual malice or personal ill-will that dictates a rival's mistrust or undermining of your efforts. In the modern material world, where so much emphasis is placed on a show of power or wealth, it is often a perceived position or status that enflames jealousy, rather than the reality of a situation. Holding your own ground and defending your position at such times can be achieved by keeping in touch with pure and positive motivations and holding on to personal integrity and sincerity, which is the basis for any fair and enduring material reward or advancement. Some competition and honest differences of opinion can be productive and even beneficial. Remain clear and focused on your objectives and stay firm in your ethical efforts to proceed with a plan or project."
Do not let slip away our natural connection to the 'otherworld' for this is where we harness the strength and energy to carry ourselves forward here on the earthly plane. Our ties to the 'otherworld' provide us with the light, hope, and inspiration to continue striving to live our lives fully and completely while honouring our connection to the rest of nature and the cosmos-what we are very much a part of and very much integrated with and reliant upon. Never allow yourself to be convinced of or have the mindset that we are separate from and superior to nature. We are neither. We are merely guests and cannot and do not exercise any authority or control over the power, energy, and force of nature and the cosmos.
Meditate with Tarot, Spirit, Nature and the Cosmos and know that you are communing with and meditating with much larger parts your true being and identity. Only then can we be blessed with the gifts and bounty of what they have to offer us here on the earthly plane.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

Blessed Be.

'I The Shaman'
Wednesday, June 10th, 2015. Mid-week and another weekend fast approaching. Another weekend of dealing with the kitchen. Will we have new countertops in place or will we continue to struggle to work in an incomplete kitchen? Tomorrow we'll pick up our butcher block style countertop from IKEA and get that squared away hopefully on Friday. Although, the suggestion is that we apply three coats of oil to it before installing and using it. So the weekend will likely be all about that. That's alright. I know my place and will do everything and all that I need to do to see this project through to completion.
I slept well again last night however the consequences of it is that I awake before 6:00am but then I simply meditate on Spirit and Tarot and relax this way until the sound of the alarm.
Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is ' I The Shaman: You may hear the beat of a drum or the song of the wind. It may be the dancing of light on water or the midnight barking of the fox, but whatever awakens your desire to return to the wild, the Shaman in you is ready for initiation into the mysteries. This may manifest itself in the form of a desire to study esoteric science or philosophy and apply what you learn to the world. It may involve travel for the sake of gaining confidence and experience. But however the desire to begin a new spiritual chapter emerges, you are now in an emotional and intellectual position to bring forth real change in your life for the benefit of everyone. This process of focusing, mediating and applying wisdom from the otherworld to everyday reality is the true work of the Shaman.'
It's time to allow ourselves to become one with the universe, to allow and re-establish consciously the connection that's always been there and take our rightful place in the cosmos. We must accept that we are very much a part and always been a part of nature. We've never been separate from nature or are we superior to her. Let's work with the mysteries and wonders of nature and the otherworld and make magic in the here and now, the physical world and bring awesome change to our lives.
Change is afoot. Are you ready for it?
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

'5 The Ancestor' and the 'Four of Bows - Celebration'
Monday, June 8th, 2015. The kitchen cabinets are finally in! Now all we need to do is to find a countertop to make the kitchen almost complete, a backsplash will be the final item. We're getting a butcher block countertop from IKEA for the food preparation side and hoping to get a quartz one for the wet side where the ink and dishwasher are located.
I had another sleepless night, tossing and turning, thinking about a thousand and one things that might be wrong with our new kitchen. Unfortunately, our favourite quartz countertop as well as five subsequent choices are unavailable so we are now going ahead with our seventh choice.
Tuesday, June 9th, 2015. I was struggling to stay awake last night as I was doing my nightly writing and reflections on Tarot so I stopped my attempts and subsequently fell asleep during the 'The National' on CBC. Being as tired as I was I'm not surprised so I crawled into bed and slept through the night.
Yesterday's visiting Tarot is "5 The Ancestor: You have made the leap and started a new cycle. Your instinctive spirit has felt it necessary to lead you to the gateway and a new path. You may have been reluctant or concerned at first, but whether you realize it or not a shift has occurred. You may feel wary of the unknown denizens that await you in the forest, but the ancient Ancestor within you will guide and reassure you as you relearn and greet new experiences on the path. Trust your inner voice. Listen to your instinctive and inquisitive nature. Your inner Ancestor is strong, patient and wise. Let them lead you into the forest with new eyes and a joyful heart."
Today's visiting Tarot is the " Four of Bows, Celebration: While focus, effort and dedication are inherent in the mastery of any skill that requires patience and practice, a time for relaxation and thankful celebration is also valuable. Without the timely and earned reward of indulgence, pleasure and friendship we become detached and isolated from those with whom we share a kinship and a common moral code and bond. To be able to relax and share in the bounty is a part of the human spirit's healing process and is how we refresh and nourish our soul. Whether the celebration is traditional festival or the marking of a personal achievement, to allow the empowering energy of carefree celebration and laughter to revitalize our resolve and rekindle our desire is a gift from which reflection on the beauty, generosity and natural wonder becomes available. To share and exchange the bounty of good fortune with those we love and respect is the most rewarding celebration in which we can indulge ourselves."
Change is a process that may take mere seconds or many days, months, or even years to fully complete, understand, and even celebrate. Change in life is inevitable for many of us and many a time multifaceted. One change may precipitate another and so forth where our lives may be turned upside down and sideways where things will and can never be the same.
Change can lead to knowledge, wisdom, and finely honed skills that came as a result of our intense focus and dedication. And now it is a time for us to lift our heads up, to come up for air and celebrate what we have accomplished...celebration with family and friends who likely have missed being in their lives as we hid away to become masters of our lives.
Work has been busy and I'm learning new skills, skills that I did not think I had or could even incorporate into my work ability skills and knowledge. But I'm doing it!
The kitchen is slowly coming back together. The microwave is back in place and we ate our first dinner in since we dismantled our kitchen last Thursday. We ordered our new countertop today, our seventh choice in colour and look however it should blend in nicely with our new look and current setup. I'll be glad when this undertaking is finally over but again I'm learning and putting new skills to good use so I'm happy that I can do some things that will save us time and money by hiring outside help to do them.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

'20 The Great Bear'
Sunday, June 7, 2015. Kitchen renovations are frustrating, time consuming, and difficult to handle as the kitchen is truly the heart of the home. It's amazing how not having a kitchen can create such chaos in a home. A small condo and a kitchen renovation are an almost impossible project to undertake. We have a living and dining area that are now home to a refrigerator, stove/range, dishwasher and everything that was neatly stored and out of sight in the kitchen cupboards. We barely have a path to walk through where we can access the den and/or sofa should we wish to attempt to sit and relax in this, dare I say, mess.
In the end it should all prove to be worthwhile as we'll have solid wood cupboards that fit and meet our needs and the rest of our condo to live in and enjoy without having to compete with appliances, dishes, pots and pans and food.
Thank You Spirit.
We took advantage of the sunny hot weather as the cabinet installer finished assembling all of the cabinets mid-afternoon, and made our way to the beach--the earliest we've ever been to the beach. The previous early date was July 1st. The beach was crowded but we still found room to flop ourselves down on the sand to relax and enjoy the ambiance that Wreck Beach has to offer. The water is cold however, one of us still managed to dive in and enjoy a brief swim, it was not me and even later in the summer I seldom find that the water temperature is seldom comfortable enough for me to take a plunge and enjoy it.
One great side effect of going to the beach and the hike to get there from the car is the great night's sleep I enjoy. I've hardly slept past 4am the previous two evenings however last night I fell asleep quickly and didn't open my eyes until past 6:30am. Beautiful. After a morning cup of coffee and meditating with Tarot I made my way to the gym. Twenty minutes later I was back home. A few of arrived at the regular opening time to find the doors locked and after twenty minutes of waiting and conversing we left deciding to leave the gym for another time.
Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is "20 The Great Bear: The only thing in life that is assured is that, if you wait long enough, it will change.
It's time to embrace and direct the change that's coming into our lives. Change is afoot and it's not the time to challenge or avoid it but instead work with this change allowing it to inspire us to become the best that we can be as we progress through life with new vigor and spiritual understanding of who we are and where our lives need to go.
Thank You Spirit.

The 'Page of Bows, Stoat' and '3 The Green Woman'
Saturday, June 6, 2015. Oops! What happened here? No writing since Wednesday.
We've been contemplating a kitchen makeover for about a year and decided a few weeks ago to go ahead and get it done based upon a recommendation from a friends brother. The cabinets are constructed from plywood and the doors and drawers are real hardwood and the price was very similar to what we found at a few big box stores that we visited, where the cabinets offered are constructed with particleboard. And we are going with a quartz composite material countertop on the wet side of the kitchen and solid oak on the prep side.
And the process started on Thursday night as we emptied out the cupboards and removed the appliances so that the removal of the cabinets could happen yesterday and the installation begin today. Oh, we also decided to remove the ceramic tile backsplash last night. What a chore that turned out to be. The sloppy look of the tile and grouting hid some very well held in place tiles as well as some damaged drywall that we had to repair. But in the end to effort will be worth it. The kitchen will look fresh and inviting and the cabinets will give us a better functioning kitchen as they are designed to fit the space.
I've had two sleepless nights worrying about the plumbing, the solid wood countertop that we have to install, the relocation of a receptacle to accommodate a smaller size cabinet above the microwave, and what to do about a new backsplash.
On top of all of this, I also had inquired about a Class B campervan that I saw at a local yet, not so local RV dealership and was playing phone tag with the financial advisor for the company. After a few back and forth messages I finally asked the person answering the phone to ask him to leave me a message about why he was calling. He finally did, the van I was interested in was sold and picked up yesterday. I'll simply keep looking and have made the decision to buy from this particular dealership as they appear to be much more down-to-earth and seem to employ less push sales reps.
Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is the "Page of Bows, Stoat: Often, you are seen as an emissary and, as such, your gifts are widely recognized and honoured. Your ability to perceive the truth in almost any matter is vastly helpful and your freedom of spirit marks you out as an original and unique personality."
I picked up on 'emissary' as I read about the 'Page of Bows' and decided to research its definition and how it fits in with today, Saturday, the 6th of June, 2015. Based upon the quick definition highlighted by 'Google' and the immediate insight that came to mind I believe that the 'Page of Bows' is bringing focus to the fact that many of us are 'spiritual emissaries' in this world and have an important role and function to place with the many people that come into our lives or cross our paths on any given day.
Many of us act as beacons of light, hope, and inspiration to others without ever knowing about it. Additionally, we are likely as equally influenced by others in the same way providing us with the drive and energy needed to carry forth with our endeavors.
Also, the 'Page of Bows' has encouraged me and supports a dream that I had last night to make changes to my website so I focus more on spiritual services and forgo selling a few retail items that I have listed on one of its pages.
Thank You Spirit.
For Thursday and Friday, the visiting Tarot was "3 The Green Woman: Appearing at a time of rich nurturing and protection, of learning and initiation, when loving and fertile relationships, both human and universal, abound, the Green Woman mediates the sacred sovereignty of the Earth's soul and can show the path to understanding and communion with nature. But with this blessing comes responsibility. Remember that this glorious, magnanimous and generous spirit can live through you, radiated by the sacred breath of life and given to others who need guidance and healing. Learn from the abundant and joyous spirit of the Earth and be at one with the world and your true self."
Nature, nature, and more nature. Gaia, Mother Earth...I am very much a part of this wonderful entity we live on and that we all have a symbiotic relationship with...let's show her the respect and attention that she deserves.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The 'Three of Bows - Fulfillment'
Wednesday, June 3rd, 2015. I had a bit of a sleepless night although I did fall asleep quickly and slept very well before and after. I awoke feeling somewhat sleepy and not well rested however it did not affect my day.
We had a relaxing evening at home. I hit the gym and had a great workout then had my protein shake, rested a little and then made dinner. I read a few pages from 'do less' as well as from one of my favourite blogs. We watched the news and then crawled into bed.
Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is the "Three of Bows, Fulfillment: The archer must be at one with the bow to fully direct its potential energy, and just as the arrow passes through the bow, propelling it to its target with effortless grace, the questing heart and seeker of knowledge allows the energy to flow through him. This combination of balanced energy and intellectual focus enables the mastering of any situation and allows the enrichment of success by being both at one with the environment and its inhabitants. Reaching this inner stronghold of strength and peace can only be achieved by constant reappraisal, vigilance and commitment to your goals; but the act of letting the power flow through you and having the trust to allow your arrows to fly completes an unseen, universal circuit. The inner stillness and focus thus produced is easily apparent and observable to others, and builds a sense of trust, confidence and security in those for whom you are responsible. This inner shining energy will inspire others to start out on their own path of discovery and sojourn to fulfillment."
I'm at ease with myself as well with my place in the universe. I've discovered who I am and know myself better today than I did only a week ago. This discovery, knowledge and ease with myself allows me to have and maintain better focus on my goals as I reappraise and adjust my plans accordingly. As I go about this exercise I open my self to and act as a conduit for the universal power that needs to flow through us so we can inspire others to embark on their own paths of discovery, knowledge and fulfillment.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The '5 of Swords' and Unnecessary Distractions
Tuesday, June 2, 2015. I had a great night of sleep after a focused evening of making breakfast bars for myself and making our nightly dinner. An after dinner shower and a couple of hours of nothingness gave way to such a great night of sleep.
Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is the “5 of Swords: The Tennis Game. Being overly competitive. A game which gets out of hand. A pattern of always needing to win, or to lose..”
Be wary of letting frustration and chaos gain the upper hand during this period of distraction. Maintain your focus on goals and intentions and do so with mindful purposefulness so as not to be distracted and led stray by others and or the emotions that may surround them. Remain mature and cool-headed so as not to make the situation worse or unnecessarily expend energy where it's not needed. Keep your mind clear your goals fully visible and in front of you, this is where you energy and direction need to go.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The 'Six of Bows - Abundance'
Monday, June 1st, 2015. Welcome to a new month, 2015 is five months old and it only seems to have started yesterday. Well, not really. I can feel that it's been five busy months since the year started and the next six to seven months are already busy and they haven't even arrived yet. The company I work for is experiencing much forward momentum and growth that has not been felt in years and the owners as well as myself are very happy to be a part of it even though our days blur one into the next sometimes.
We had a friend pop by for a last minute visit and dinner. We hit the Spud Shack for dinner, then had a leisurely stroll along the quay and Pier Park before returning where we visited a little bit more before parting with hugs and 'see ya laters'.
Sleep came quickly however the evening was long and the quality of sleep was very much a welcome and joyous experience. I awoke before the alarm and knew it but stayed in bed, rested a little more and communed with Spirit as I waited for the singing of the alarm.
Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is the "Six of Bows, Abundance: The Wheel turns and the time to enjoy the fruits and rewards of the summer season has arrived. Patience acknowledges the plentiful bounty which delivers gifts and rewards for your efforts. Now is the time to allow this generous feeling of well-being to flow freely through and around you, and to enjoy the pleasures and sustenance these healing and revitalizing gifts can offer. Sometimes, after a period of stress and hard struggle, the process of healthy relaxation is vital to re-arm and re-energize the spirit in preparation for the challenges of the coming winter. The joy of sharing and gifting your own abundance with others is also a natural part of the process and brings its own inner peace and satisfaction. Your gifts to others will bring solace during the coming seasons and remind everyone that the Wheel continues to turn on its inevitable and stoical journey. Give thanks and accept the blessings of the changes that occur in life at this time. We share the bounty of the forest and commune with the Wildwood denizens in our everyday life."
On adopting and living a minimalist lifestyle a whole new world of experiences and possibilities has opened up before me. I have yet to part with possessions but regardless an amazing weight has been lifted off of my shoulders and I feel at ease with life and feel very much alive and a part of the everlasting cosmos. It's truly amazing and once again, I exclaimed to myself that "I love my life. I really do love my life."
On a whim, I decided to submit a pre-approval application for financing on a van conversion, also known as a camper van. I submitted the application yesterday and this morning I received an email and voicemail that I was approved to for an RV loan as per the application and the camper van that I've expressed interest in. Further paperwork has to be completed before such a loan is given final approval as well as the fact I need to not only test-drive the unit but like it enough to in order buy it.
I freely give of my smiles and lighted hearted presence during my travels. Yes, the odd time I get a tad frustrated with the way people drive but I'm getting used to driving in rush hour traffic as well as the fact that I can't do much to control or influence the way other people drive in this region.
I've opened myself to Spirit and do all that I can to lead by example as well as allow Spirit to work through and do her blessing as I go about day. Additionally, have and display heart-felt gratitude for each and every blessing and gift I receive. Love, light, respect, wisdom, knowledge, comfort, and openness are examples of Spirit's blessings in my life. The pre-approved RV loan application is another gift that will give me much joy and happiness as I/we take many a road trip to here and there and nowhere in particular.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.
