Wednesday, September 2, 2015. Another day arrived early for me as I awoke around 4:00am and dozed here and there mostly tossing and turning until the alarm sang out to us at 6:00am. My thoughts were all over however eventually I was able to focus more on Spirit that then allowed me to doze albeit only for minutes I'm thinking.
Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is the "Seven of Bows, Clearance: All things must change and evolve, and however well prepared or carefully constructed your tools and skills, challenges and obstacles may require rethinking and relearning. Bows wear out and eventually fracture under constant use, stress and tension. Arrows warp through damp and strenuous flexing and lose their strength and accuracy. Change is a natural part of the process of renewal although it can be painful (pain brings change and change brings pain), it must be seen as a positive turn of the Wheel and necessary for new life to begin. Welcoming the clearing of the old and worn and preparing the ground for new growth is vital. New shoots and spring saplings will be starved of light and nutrients in the soil if the ground is not cleared. Old boughs and stumps should be removed to ease the process of saying goodbye to a tool or concept that has outlived its practical life. By allowing the passing of the old and clearing of the ground to take place with an element of welcoming and acceptance of change, the feelings of relief and poignancy may aid the healing process, giving comfort."
Distractions need to be cleared away and I know how to clear them away and that is by facing them head on instead of trying to avoid them or change my focus. I welcome a good clearing out of the old and an overall cleansing of my life. I bathe in the energy of Spirit and the cosmos and allow all that I no longer need to be washed away to be replaced by the essence of spirit and energy that created fills us with the purity of life.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The 'Knight of Arrows, Hawk' and the 'Seven of Bows, Clearance'
Thursday, March 13th, 2015. We hit the beach last night to catch the sunset and although the temperatures are warm during the height of the day they cool off rather quickly as the sun begins setting and getting closer to the horizon. It was a nice time of soaking up the sounds of the crashing waves against the sand as well as hearing the earth breathe as I closed my eyes and listened with my soul and spirit. We ate a nice peanut butter and jam sandwich while enjoying the beach and then hit McDonalds for a quick meal, a nice healthy salad with grilled chicken.
Yesterday's visiting Tarot is the "Knight of Arrows, Hawk: A quicksilver messenger of fate, the Hawk can help and support you to see through layers of doubt and uncertainty to the problem at the heart of the matter. Be swift and subtle and use your common sense to progress. Heroism, Disputation, Subtlety, Clear-sightedness, Impetuosity, Anger, Holding a grudge, Valour."
And this card evoke feelings of action, of doing, of getting on with being who I am instead of pretending to be someone I'm not.
Sleep last night was quite decent and I awoke surprised as I was not expecting to hear the alarm when it sounded. I felt as if I had another hour or two of sleep. Alas, it was the alarm and time to get out of bed.

I welcome and accept change as I learn new skills, develop new talents, trust my intuition more and move further along on the spiritual path that is closer and truer to my nature. Yes, change can be frightening and painful however if we take a step back and look at the larger picture we gain a better understanding of why this change is necessary and why it's taking place now.
Let us embrace change so we can move on, breathe easier and focus on the important things in life.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

Seven of Bows, Clearance
Saturday, June 27th, 2015. I finished installing the venting for the range. It didn't come exactly as I planned it nor does it look very pretty but it'll do the trick. Since I didn't finish this until almost 7:30pm we decided to go out for dinner and ended up at 'Bubble World'. Dinner was pretty good, service was a bit slow but not unexpected and as has been our experience in the past in other establishments similar to this one our meals came out about fifteen minutes apart. No big deal though. We also had one of their fruit slushy offerings. A good overall meal that didn't break the bank. One thing I really loved about the restaurant is the decor. Very well done!
We came home and relaxed for the rest of the evening and then crawled into bed around 11:00pm. I slept well for awhile, then tossed and turned the rest of my sleep and slipped quietly out of bed around 6:00am.

What do we need to sweep away from our lives to make way for new growth and evolution? How can we best organize our priorities and make effective decisions? The time prioritize and make decisive decisions is today!
It may pain us to let something go or even by simply postponing to a better time however we must build ourselves a solid foundation on which to grow and in order to do this we often have to weed the garden so-to-speak.
For me, as much as I desire to purchase a camper van, this is not the time for me to make such a decision or take such a financial leap. I'll postpone such a purchase to the fall while I build myself a foundation that will provide me with the solid footing needed to handle such a significant purchase.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.
