After watching "Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children" I went to bed feeling peculiar, thinking about peculiarities, oddities, the strange and unfamiliar and found myself fast asleep and in a whole new world. My thoughts were about re-opening my eyes to all of the world that is out there but that moves beyond our adulthood sight because it just possible can't be real and can only exist in childhood fantasy. But it does exist and many of us see it in one form or another. It's just hard to talk about it or bring it to light without often being labelled in unflattering terms.
Spirit Is and after settling into a more pure state of being the Shaman Tarot was in my hands and today's Tarot Energy is and I am "IX The Seeker of Souls: The solitary wayfarer, he who silently probes the souls of the World. Wisdom and experience. Detachment. An old master."
Now I understand something about myself as reading this is an apt description of what I feel like I do on a daily basis, "he who silently probes the souls of the World." And I feel like I being told that I need to practice more "Detachment" in order to do more in and with my spiritual life and career.
Solitude, communing with spirits and detachment are the overlying energies of this day. So let's all put these into practice and see where the day takes us.
Thank You Spirit.

Asking For Help and Seeking Guidance and Knowing That I'll Receive It
Sunday, May 29, 2016 at 6:52pm. My spirit wants to take me out onto the open road and yet I'm struggling to give myself permission to follow the pull of the universe tugging on my arm, asking to come along on this journey of life telling me "we've much to show and teach you and you have so much to give".
There is nothing personal about this. I finally understand that this is the universal mind and spirit at work here and it is not only in my own best interests to follow but the universe's as well.
So here I am now asking for guidance on how I can work through, overcome, or transcend the debt burden that I've brought upon myself so I can follow the pull of Spirit. For Spirit does indeed have much to show me, I also have much to learn and finally understand that I, imbued with the collective soul have much to offer.
Thank You Spirit.
Namaste.

'VI The Lovers' and Letting a Decision Sing to Your Soul
Saturday, April 9, 2016. A few nights ago as I was falling asleep a Gay Tarot Reading came into my mind and these were the cards that found their way into the reading:
WHAT'S AT HAND - "XI Strength: Directing your passions, rather than suppressing them, is the key. Finding healthy outlets for powerful energies.”
PAST INFLUENCES - “7 of Swords: The Messenger. Carrying your plans through obstacles. Speed is important. Someone brings news or a message. Carelessness.”
PONDER THIS - “6 of Swords: Peaceful Recovery. Serenity and the passage of time help to heal wounds. Stormy emotions are given time to subside, allowing a plan for a solution.”
WHAT TO DO - “2 of Cups: The Dialogue. A balanced relationship. Being able to see things from the other’s perspective.”
An interesting grouping of cards and a great message. Thank You Spirit.
Slept rather well last night, did awake a few times but slept in and got out of bed to be welcomed by a bright and beautiful morning.
With candle lit, and Dragon's Blood Incense smoking Spirit, Pagan Tarot and meditated together and today's Pagan Tarot Energy is "VI The Lovers - A decision, a commitment, is placed before us, much like a fork in the road or two opposite paths which beckon to us. We must ask ourselves which of the choices open to us is the one that speaks to our soul. We must make our choices for the right reasons."
Which choice sings to our soul? For me my soul soars, leaps, runs, jumps, and sings when I envision living life on the road. In fact, each time I find myself driving long distances my soul is soothed and filled with much light, love and peace. I am a true spiritual nomad and find life much more enjoyable when I'm on the move. My roots are with Spirit and wherever I go.
I believe that when we are guided by Spirit our decisions will always be the right ones. We may find bumps in the road and have one or more detours to take along the way but the decision is the best one we can make at this time.
Thank You Spirit.
Namaste.

The '8 of Cups' and Saying Farewell to a Job and Saying Hello To a New Career
Sunday, March 20, 2016, the Spring Equinox/Ostara and the Sun moves into the sign of Aries, the Ram.
Welcome to a new day, a new season, and a new Sun sign!
We enjoyed a day of celebration as a birthday was being celebrated, someone celebrated his 50th anniversary of being a part of this world, also known as the 50th birthday. Brunch with family and friends at the 'Knight and Day' in Surrey, then dinner with family and more friends at the 'Revel Room' in the heart of Gastown, the historic neighbourhood of Vancouver.
I give a big "Thank You" to everyone who came out to share the day with me!
Today's Gay Tarot Energy is the “8 of Cups: Farewell. Moving on. Leaving behind a person, a situation, or a part of yourself."
As I reflect on the “8 of Cups", thoughts of family take up a prominent position when I contemplate the year and many years ahead. I'd like to spend some time camping with my sister and her family so my aim is to leave the "job" I have behind and do my best to get a my more mobile spiritual career going so it can happen this summer. The job is almost literally killing me...I'm compromising my ethics, principles, and my spirit in many ways and I'm losing so much energy to this job that I can barely function most days. I've got put a stop to it...
I'm better than this and I owe it to myself to do and be better than this!
I say farewell to the job and a great big "HELLO" to Wizard Oron and receive a great big "Welcome Home" from my soul to me!
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

Busy But Great Weekend
It's been a busy weekend as we had a dinner with friends on Friday, met friends again on Saturday for lunch and the Eastside Culture Crawl and I'm busy making handcrafted cards from orders placed during our Friday night dinner.
The culture crawl was a great experience this time around. Years back we tried to follow it but we ended up hating it because it was raining and only seemed to be in people's homes spread through the east side of the city. This year we tagged along with friends and discovered that it is also housed in several larger reclaimed industrial buildings and that turned it into a great experience for us. We only walked through one building, four floors of one building and we had our fill of art. Great to see so much variety but it was enough to see for one day.
Making cards for me is a great way to wile away the day and I've been going since Friday night and am loving it. Thankfully, I do not have too many different styles to make so I can replicate the cards fairly easily and on top of this it is proving to be great therapy both mentally and spiritually speaking so I'm more than glad to being doing this.
Spirit is and the visiting Tarot cards for the past couple of days are:
Sunday, November 18th - Youth of Swords
and today is "V The Priest", meaning that I need to spend more time making cards as well as meditating so I can cleanse my mind, soul, and spirit and see my future more clearly.
Thank you Spirit.
Blessed Be

Tarot Cards Reflections of Life
The wind has died down and the rain will hold off for another day. Fall weather has finally arrived. I quite enjoy the weather really no matter if it is rainy, windy, snowy, cold, warm, hot, or sunny as the weather is what it should be and we should appreciate it no matter what.
Spirit is. Thank You Spirit.
Yesterday's visiting Tarot card was "XIX The Sun" and what a great card for the day as I enjoyed the ordinariness of the day, was content with what I was doing, full of optimism and satisfied by the work I was doing. Life is good.
Today's visiting Tarot card is the "9 of Swords" and is quite the reflection of my poor night's sleep of worry, anxiety and self-imposed stress. However, this morning as I got on with my day, working with Spirit and Tarot, gathering a few of the handcrafted cards I made, and getting ready to go out this morning confidence and optimism returned to me.
I walked out the door feeling quite good and returned home feeling even better. I was happy with myself as the walk in the cool fall air cleansed my mind and soul.
Thanks for reading.
Blessed Be.
