The "Youth of Swords" and a Nudge from the "6 of Cups"

Thursday, April 30th, 2015.  Yesterday was not too bad of a day and my work day involved what I do best however I was not satisfied with the type of customer service I delivered as I visited an existing account, a potential account and a newly signed up account.  I was not focused nor was I actively existing in the present.  I felt very scatter-brained.  However, by the time evening rolled around I was more calm and actively living in the present moment and I even hit the gym doing a good twenty-five minutes on the stationary bike.

Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is the “Youth of Swords: Curiosity.  Research.  Computers, e-mail.  Immature communication.  Spying (or "hacking")” with the underlying card of the deck being the “6 of Cups: Happy Birthday.  Fond memories.  A gift given in friendship or love."

I was curious yesterday about the “Youth of Swords" and here he is one more time and as the main player for today's Tarot.  If I give some thought for a second I understand today's appearance especially in relation to my work day and what is expected of me or where my employers desire me to fit into the future of the company.  My work is cut out for me as well and the journey is also laid out on the map for me.  As I left work I understood that I needed to invest and focus more time and effort into my job as well as get my website completely off the ground.  This will allow me to become debt free, invest in my future as well as provide myself with the means to enjoy play outside of work.

The energy of the day is youth and curious so we must engage and interact with it and allow it to propel us forward and forward in directions that may surprise and lead us to more than we could have imagined.  I'm not giving up on the future of my desires.  Instead, I'm allowing it to blossom in new and wonderful ways.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

The Sage of Swords and the Youth of Swords

Wednesday, April 29th, 2015.  After a frustrating work day yesterday, I hit the gym to melt the stress away and breathe in the loving, positive, and relaxing energy of Spirit through an intense workout.  We had a great dinner but having a protein shake as well as dinner so close together proved to be a bit much for my tummy but the bloating did disappear by bedtime.  I slept well too!

Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is the “Sage of Swords: Making a mature, informed decision.  Being too judgmental.  Mediating a dispute” with a bit of help from the “Youth of Swords: Curiosity.  Research.  Computers, e-mail.  Immature communication.  Spying (or "hacking").”

More emphasis today about making decisions.  I need to act and make decisions is the message of the day.  Decisions though have to come from a good dose of curiosity and the research that can come as a result.  However we must ensure that our decisions are balanced and compromising where needed and that the decisions we make do not inflate our egos or cause us to think of ourselves as better than anyone else or pass judgment on them.

Let's be mature in our dealings with life.  Let's do our due diligence.  Let's make our decisions.  And let's do what is right for all.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

"7 of Cups" and "XXI the World" or Action and Burden

Tuesday, April 28, 2015.  A quiet evening led to a great night's sleep that ended too early.  I really did not like hearing the alarm go off this morning.  I'm happily relaxing during the evening as I engage with the world as spiritually as I can as well as through working on my model railroad and reading my RVing magazines.  Living life and being happy about it!

Thank You Spirit.

Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is the “7 of Cups: The Bookstore.  Choosing between different approaches.  Contemplating choices when you should be acting" which is augmented by “XXI The World: Life can be a heavy burden or a joyful one, it is mostly up to you.  Transcending your circumstances by changing them or accepting what can’t be changed.”

I'm trying my best to act more rather than contemplate however it seems that I'm taking as action as I thought I was.  And you know what? It's true.  I have a spiritual life to enrich and use to inspire others; a website to work on; and a model railroad to grow.  But then again what constitutes action?  Or am I missing the area where this action is needed most?

The only other thought or thoughts crossing my mind are whether or not to buy a camper van or van conversion and get rid of the RV or keep the RV and work with what I have?  The RV is more personalized to suit my needs now and has little or no market value but then she needs much more work before taking her on the road.  A van conversion will be newer, smaller, easier to drive but then the space is small, cramped and quite limited...hhhmmm!

Action another Tarot encouraging us to act.  Life requires action and in order to act we must understand what we want, why we're after it and what will we do once we get it.  And if this were not enough we're being reminded that burden will always be a part of life however we don't have to let them bring us down or be a weight on our lives.  Change again takes action.  As well, if we cannot change things we still need to act to accommodate living with something that cannot be changed.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

The "10 of Wands" and the "sage of Swords"

Monday, April 27, 2015.  We had an overall enjoyable weekend however, I had to forego doing as much as I wanted with spiritual matters and my model railroad.  But we spent time with friends so it was a happy weekend regardless.

Sleep ended too soon and before the alarm.  I'd rather sleep and be awoken by the alarm than awaking well before it and knowing so but I'll take the sleep I get and be thankful for it.  I'm sleeping in a comfortable bed, in a great condo, with a roof over my head when many are going without.

Thank You Spirit.

Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is the “10 of Wands: The Burden.  Responsibilities.  Obligations.  Overcommitting yourself.  Realizing that burdens are a part of life” with a hint of extra guidance coming from “Sage of Swords: Making a mature, informed decision.  Being too judgmental.  Mediating a dispute.”

I realize that my burden is a challenge I'll have for some time as I develop and make further progress on and with my hobby of model railroading.  It's not a cheap hobby to be a part of and it requires a significant investment of cash to get into.  Something I'm learning the hard way, I suppose.  But it's worth it especially now that I'm having more fun with this hobby that has been chasing me for a few decades now.

The best way to deal with a burden is to realistically identify it, accept it, then deal with head on so you v=can move it behind you as quickly as possible or at the very least find ways to minimize its impact on our lives.  Let's be mature and do our due diligence and get on with tackling our burdens and moving on.

Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The 8 of Wands and the 7 of Swords

Sunday, April 26th, 2015.  The weekend is an enjoyable one thus far.  We took a damp walk around Rice Lake over in North Vancouver.  Rice Lake is nestled in the Seymour Demonstration Forest, I do believe.  We then had an awesome lunch at Tacofino on East Hastings in Vancouver before returning our friends to their home.  We then did our weekly grocery run before returning home ourselves for a relaxing afternoon and evening.  Although, I did piddle around with my model railroad.  I had burst of inspiration and creative energy that I needed to let loose.

Thank You Spirit.

Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is the “8 of Wands: Movement.  Everything is falling into place.  People or circumstances are aligning to facilitate the achievement of your goals.  Matters are rapidly reaching a conclusion.  A group combines their energies while maintaining individuality” with a little spurt of additional energy coming from the “7 of Swords: The Messenger.  Carrying your plans through obstacles.  Speed is important.  Someone brings news or a message.  Carelessness.”

The universal energy is moving us toward our goals so we must hop on and be active participants on this ride to the fruition of our goals.  Co-operation is in the air and everyone wants what is best for us so let's harness these good vibes and get moving.  We must not simply ride the coattails of this energy as it will get us nowhere.  Participation and action are paramount!

What this means is that the cosmos believes in us and our chosen paths and is providing the extra oomph required to get us to where we want to be going.  Yet, our journey may have a few bumps along the way however we will carry on meet our goals which are not the end of journey but only the beginning of a new life and a new way to interacting with the world.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

"XIX The Sun" and "0 The Fool"

Saturday, April 25th, 2015.  Aaahhh...the weekend is here and time to let the stress of the work week melt away.  Actually, covering for one of my fellow employees was not all that bad although yes, it was a challenge to manage two desks and complete all of my duties I got through it with much help from one of the managers so the week ended calmly and with few mistakes being made.

Personally, I'm in a good spot these days.  I understand myself a lot better than I have in the past and it's all do to a better understanding of the cosmos, Gaia, and my place in the world especially so through spending more time with and focused intent on Tarot.  I've developed a much better understanding of Tarot than ever before and my intuition is strong.

My hobby is taking off now that it's become fun again.  Imagine, a whole week of ignoring my model railroad created clarity and inspiration that got me through my mountain-building roadblock--thank you Spirit.

Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is "XIX The Sun.  Any personal growth you achieve now will be linked to self-expression.  Say what you feel when you feel it.  Accept criticism and admit mistakes.  Enthusiasm and self-assurance bring results.  A promotion is on the horizon.  When reversed: Relationship hassles are likely.  Don’t get wrapped up in yourself so tightly that you ignore your partner’s or others’ needs.  Stop being overly dramatic.  Set goals realistically and try to do what’s good for all parties involved."  with a dash of extra inspiration coming from ""0 The Fool".  Take things as they are.  Matters are proceeding as planned.  Do your part to settle outstanding disagreements.  Kill others with kindness and let them suffer the consequences of their actions.  This is a good time to build your investments or remodel your home.  When reversed: Schedules are full, time is at a premium.  Take time to enjoy life’s pleasures.  Postpone business decisions temporarily.  Use discretion and patience." (Tarot, Dennis Fairchild, Julie Paschkis, Running Press, Philadelphia, 1996, 2000)

Self-expression requires self-understanding and acceptance.  So know yourself and then get out there and express yourself.  Grow and inspire through self-expression.  Roll with the punches and always be true to yourself.  Yet, do not ignore the needs of others, ensure that you take into account the needs of those around you, especially those closest to you.  Spread happiness and kindness through enthusiasm, let Spirit be your guide.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

The Ace of Wands and "X The Wheel of Life"

Friday, April 24th, 2015.  I slept surprisingly well and do not even remember if I awoke last night.  I did awake about fifteen or twenty minutes before the alarm but even that seems an insignificant blip in my overall sleep.  I think the quiet and relaxing evenings at home are becoming more conducive to a good night's sleep as is becoming more in tune with and focused on where I need to be in life.  Plus I'm not fussing so much about my model railroad either as it is a hobby after all and should be more fun than stressful and it was becoming a bit stressful.  Not any more, model railroading is fun for me again!

Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is the “Ace of Wands: A creative inspiration. The beginning of a project or venture” with much guidance coming from “X The Wheel of Life: If life on the rim makes you dizzy, move to the centre. Awareness of the cycles of life. Equanimity. A change in fortunes. Guidance from your future or past self.”

If you find yourself struggling in pursuing your creative inspirations or getting them off the ground to actually become the beginning of a project or venture perhaps, you need to take a step back or find a quick exit out of and from the rat race we often find ourselves in when we finally come up for air or stop for a moment and discover that where we are is not where we want to be.  Life must be experienced not simply lived.  Dreams whether at night or during the day can often be filled with the answers we need to finally make real and positive change in our lives.  A passage in a book or magazine or maybe a newspaper headline or line from a movie or a TV show might grab our attention or give us enough of a jolt to realize that we are being guided this way or that from the energy of our past or the energy yet to be.  Become aware and get onto to experiencing life, it's the only life you have.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

VII The Chariot and the Sage of Cups

Thursday, April 23rd, 2015.  We had another quiet evening at home.  I spent much of my after dinner and pre-bed time doing some research regarding PayPal buttons and looking at some photos of an older van conversion that has become available at an RV dealership up in Kelowna.  It's a '92 and looks to be in decent shape but I'm not ready to commit yet.  I need to find out a bit more about the unit before doing anything.

Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is “VII The Chariot:  Among the highs and lows of life, make sure you enjoy the highs.  At the top of one's game.  Seizing an opportunity.  Having everything under control (barely)” with a little nudge coming from the “Sage of Cups: Emotional maturity.  A good mediator or counsellor.”

The universal energy that ties us all together is waiting to be harnessed by us.  We have grown, changed, matured, and evolved enough to make the next step and the time for this is now.  We possess the knowledge, skills, and wit needed to forge ahead with our dreams and ambitions.  We must put to good use our innate gifts and talents to maintain balance in our lives so we stay intently focused and driven to make the most of this time of good energy and good fortune.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

9 of Cups and the Youth of Cups - Pay It Forward

Wednesday, April 22nd, 2015.  We had a quiet and enjoyable evening last night.  I'm doing my best to relax as much as I can during the evenings since my days this week are so busy, close to being overwhelming but not quite.  I'm working two jobs and managing two desks while a co-worker is on vacation and let me tell you--it isn't easy!  But I'm managing.  The difficulty is in having responsibilities that take me out of the office as then when I return to the office I have to catch up on the hours of office work I didn't complete while completing other important tasks.

I really appreciate the work though and I am receiving "karma" here since I had a really slack job for four years and sat most of days doing a whole lot of nothing and getting paid for it.  So it's good for me to be working as hard as I am today in order to make amends, so-to-speak.

I awoke early today.  I'm not sure at what time as I stayed in bed, hoping I'd fall back to sleep but it never happened.  When I decided to finally look at the time it was 5:45am and I guessed that I likely awoke around 4:00am.  But I'm not feeling tired so far...likely I'm still coasting along on all the adrenaline that carried me through the work day.

Thank You Spirit.

Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is the “9 of Cups: Serendipity.  Satisfaction.  Everything is going well” with more energy coming from the “Youth of Cups: Youthful emotions.  Daydreaming.  Shyness.”

Since life is humming along pretty smoothly for me these days, all thanks to the power of Spirit I'm going to make a few changes to my website, www.wizardoron.ca.  I'm going to be more loving, giving, and compassionate in my offerings in the sense of allowing those who wish to use my services to pay by donation.  I'll leave the prices on the website but then create a "DONATE" button through PayPal thus allowing people to pay what they deem they can afford.  I want to inspire people and do not wish to hinder this through requiring a payment if a person cannot afford to do so.  They deserve to be inspired and assisted regardless.

Today is about giving freely in whatever loving form we can without a catch.  I am here through the blessing of Spirit and have had a blessed life and wish to give back and pay it forward, if you will.

Love!

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

The 4 of Swords and the 8 of Wands

Tuesday, April 21st, 2015.  Last night was an off night for us as one of us worked later than is typical so we didn't get to eating dinner until after 8.  While waiting for the other to get home I blogged and then decided to make a batch of muffins using some crushed pineapple we had sitting in the refrigerator.  The pineapple raisin muffins are scrumptious but are not staying together very well.  I think I over mixed the batter.

Then no sooner did we have dinner and a muffin it was time for bed.

I slept well and in fact was not expecting the alarm to sound, pretty much forgetting that it was a work day today.  However, it was easy to hop out of bed and get on with the day.

Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is the “4 of Swords: Napping Between Rehearsals.  Resting and gathering strength for the next phase.  A vacation or “time out”" with some further guidance coming from the “8 of Wands: Movement.  Everything is falling into place.  People or circumstances are aligning to facilitate the achievement of your goals.  Matters are rapidly reaching a conclusion.  A group combines their energies while maintaining individuality.”

Rest up as it's full steam ahead as the universe aligns behind your dreams, goals, and desires and synchronizes the energy of all those who will assist you on your endeavors thus making the journey toward your goals a successful one.

Rest up and allow the universe to align and synchronize this energy as you rest up for the hard work to come as we often can get in the way of our own success through misdirected thoughts and/or actions.  Keep your chin up, keep that smile on your lips and be as happy as you can be.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

XVI Revelation and the 8 of Wand: Pain, Loss and Movement

Monday, April 20th, 2015.  The weekend disappeared so quickly that I hardly experienced it.  Saturday was a wonderful day as we were enjoying the sun riding our bikes however yesterday was a different story altogether.  By the time we completed our grocery run and a trip to Home Depot to pick up a part for our leaky tub faucet, the afternoon was already upon us.  And by the time I completed the repairs to the leaky faucet the afternoon was quickly approaching the evening.  But all is good regardless as it was an enjoyable weekend and work isn't so bad either.

The alarm awoke me this morning although I had a bit of a difficult time sleeping for one reason or another and found myself a bit too warm a times but I awoke feeling quite rested.

Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is “XVI Revelation: While it is usually best to tell the truth about yourself to those who are close to you, it can be a painful experience.  A necessary destruction of the status quo.  Having to tell someone an unwelcome truth.  A new idea which upsets others” with a hint or two coming from the “8 of Wands: Movement.  Everything is falling into place.  People or circumstances are aligning to facilitate the achievement of your goals.  Matters are rapidly reaching a conclusion.  A group combines their energies while maintaining individuality.”

If we allow ourselves to face the pain of facing circumstances or burdens that we have shrugged off and put on the sidelines for days, weeks, month, and maybe even years; we may suffer a sense of loss ruin or otherwise but we must do so with our heads held high.  Deal with the emotions by facing and accepting them then move on, move on with sense of freedom as your shoulders are lighter, your mind and the path ahead more clear than ever before.  We must embrace the pain and change of this time and welcome the learning and growth that comes with it.  Our spirits are stronger and we are more in touch with the divine and have a much better understanding of the world and the life we live.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

The Whimsical Tarot, I The Magician and XI Strength

Sunday, April 19th, 2015.  A new moon has arisen.

We were out of the house pretty early, heading out to Pitt Meadows so we could enjoy a bike ride along the dikes which protect the meadows from the possibility of flooding should the Alouette River ever become a raging torrent of water.  Yesterday was bright beautiful and sunny and the Alouette River was calm and serene.  We chose the Blue Heron Loop, 18 kilometres of flat riding in the meadow as mountains rise along the north and urban sprawl encroaches all the other sides.  This once was prime farmland but no is becoming more residential as farms become relics of the past.  But the ride was beautiful and breathtaking as we enjoyed herons, cranes, hawks, eagles, geese, ducks, mergansers, and the ever present crow along the dikes.  Our ride was about 2.5 hours or maybe a little more as we are leisurely riders in no rush to let this enchanting ride pass us by.

We were hungry and had the perfect fast food place in mind after our ride--Fat Burger in Coquitlam.  As was our experience before the burgers were very good and made to order.  Then it was back home to relax for the remainder of the day and in bed before 10:30pm but I slept in until 6:30...yay!

Spirit Is and today's visiting Whimsical Tarot is "I The Magician.  Do you feel the adrenaline running through your veins?  Now is the time to stretch yourself and test your limits.  Be adventurous, daring, and competitive—within limits.  Success and recognition will follow.  It’s an excellent time to begin new projects.  When reversed: Pay attention to rules and think twice before acting.  Don’t close yourself off from the help and guidance of others.  Beware of arrogance.  Make friends, not enemies" with further guidance provided by "XI Strength.  Love conquers all.  Avoid pettiness and prejudice.  Try to be a peacemaker.  Weigh all sides of every situation.  Don’t be so set in your ways that you miss the big picture by focusing on details.  Stubbornness is your challenge of the moment.  When reversed: Everyone expects the best from you and vice-versa.  Arguments with your lover or close associates are likely now.  Don’t give in to intimidation or pressure, and never go to bed angry.  Are you seeing things realistically?  Wait one more day to take action."

Today is about taking action, taking action in one form or another to move our lives forward and toward a goal, if we have any in mind.  an important part of this action is alluded to with yesterday's cards and that is to have a clear intent of what our goals may be and to intently focused on them.  This is so our energies are not fractured as by a too general of a goal or a goal that is always changing as has been my case.

I'm back to a singular focus on the goal I've had for decades but never had a clear intention of doing.  That is, until now.  Clear intentions and focused laser vision on what my true goal is and what my needs are.  I guess a bike ride in sunny weather will do this for you--clear and focus your mind on what's truly meaningful and important to us.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

The Page of Swords and the 3 of Wands - Whimsical Tarot Day

Saturday, April 18th, 2015.  We were in bed around 10:00pm and I had no more sleep left in me by the time the clock was flipping over to 5:00am so out of bed I crawled.  Last night was kind of a weird night.  Not sure what kind of energy was in the air but neither of was too inclined to stay up late on a Friday night.  Maybe it was Cuban-Mexican fusion meal I whipped up...

...likely not but rather more to do with the days we've both been having--busy and busier and more mentally exhausting than usual.  One of us is busy marking final exams and the other of us is filling in someone else's shoes while they are on vacation as well as trying fulfill my own multiple roles and duties that already eat of my time and energy.  I'll get through it all...

Thank You Spirit.

Spirit Is and today's visiting "Whimsical Tarot" is the "Page of Swords - Do you resent the intrusions of others in your life?  Make a break.  Assert yourself.  Those who truly love you will continue to stand by you.  When reversed: You often change your course of action as you work toward your goals.  This isn’t necessarily bad, as long as you keep your goals clearly in focus.  Friends may make excessive demands.  Decline kindly but firmly." with further emphasis of today's energy coming from the "3 of Wands - You are very good at putting the talents and skills of others to their best use.  Be specific about what you want and don’t be misled by well-meaning friends.  This is not a lonely time.  Use the strength of those around you—teamwork brings luck.  When reversed: Stop struggling!  Stay focused and don’t be intimidated by know-it-alls.  Ask questions.  Take time to clearly define what you want."

I do believe the message of the day is to stay focused, to stay intently focused on our goals and dreams without allowing distractions steer us away from moving toward them.  Our goalposts must remain the same if we are to achieve what it is that we set out to do.  Our goals and dreams must remain somewhat static if ever expect to achieve.  Yes, we must remain open-minded and flexible to allow for detours and course adjustments but we must always keep in the firm picture of what our goals are or they are likely to never come to fruition.

FOCUS!

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

"VI The Lovers" and the 2 of Coins

Friday, April 17th, 2015.  I slept very well last night and although I remember having intriguing dreams I really can't remember any.  However, what I can say is that they are life changing dreams.  I feel changed, renewed, revitalized, ready to make changes I've feared making for decades.  I've got to take a leap of faith...

Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is “VI The Lovers: A relationship is always a mingling of differences.  A powerful relationship.  Seeing both sides of an issue.  Flexibility” with the “2 of Coins: Tai Chi.  Flexibility.  “Going with the flow”.  Living in tune with your environment.”

Living in tune with our lovers and living in tune with our environment is the best way to improve our lives and make the world a better place.  We need to be as flexible as a willow in the wind, sturdy enough to hold our ground yet flexible enough to bend in the wind and go with the flow.  We need structure and discipline yet we need to be the essence of compassion, love, and forgiveness.  It's not about being stubborn or a pushover it's about being divine, all loving, tender, compromising and building on our similarities rather than tearing each down over our differences.

We need to see and face the truth as ugly as it may be and work toward a happy medium that leaves all feeling good and right about themselves as well as each other.  Positive solutions are possible even under the most trying of circumstances as it's all about attitude and understanding.
Love unconditionally and let the light shine!

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

XVIII The Moon" and "XI Strength" - Hear the Message

Thursday, April 16th, 2015.  Another decent night of sleep with interesting dreams that are now forgotten.  Darn!  And I quite enjoyed them too!  I had plenty of sleep as well as I was in bed before 10:30 and didn't awake except ever so briefly and then the alarm was sounding.

Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is “XVIII The Moon: Sexuality pulls us into a different, non-rational world which is sometimes frightening, always creative.  A sense of mystery.  Creative ideas which gestate in the subconscious.  Sexuality or sex” with more meaning provided by “XI Strength: Directing your passions, rather than suppressing them, is the key.  Finding healthy outlets for powerful energies.”

We are so much more than we think we are and have so much more potential than we can ever imagine.  We are a part of the universal consciousness and have so much ability to create exactly the kind of world most of crave but we are too afraid, unwilling, or plain ignorant as to how we can accomplish or create a loving and peaceful world.

We have the power to not only dream about better lives but we also have the power, strength, and energy to create them too!  Don't deny the mysteries being revealed to you.  Don't deny your abilities to understand them as well to harness the energy being provided to you to manifest your dreams into reality.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

The 3 of Swords and the 7 of Wands

Tuesday, April 14th, 2015.  Another decent night of sleep led to a decent day of work.  The sun was shining brilliantly in the sky as a crisp breeze left a chill in the air.  But a wonderfully seductive day it is.  And then on the way home what should come into view as I crept over closer to home but an Okanagan Camper Van, more temptation to get out and enjoy the outdoors from the comfort of a "mobile" home.

We had a relaxing evening even though dinner ended of being later than planned as I attempted to deep fry some chicken but didn't cook it long enough so into the frying pan it went and another 30 minutes later we had ourselves some cooked chicken and a good dinner.  Thank goodness for that!

Today's visiting Tarot is the “3 of Swords: The Wreckage.  Feeling heavy-hearted after an emotional storm.  Feeling hurt or betrayed" with the “7 of Wands: Fighting the wind.  A Quixotic struggle.  Winning against the odds.  Confrontation" coming into mix things up a little bit.

Today is a day where a high degree of humility will go a long way.  Energies need to be refocused to allow for some creativity and momentum to enter our lives.  Do not play the blame game or put it upon the other the person to make the first move or that they need to do more than just be humble, ,accepting and forgiving for more will be gained this way than will be shirking off our roles in the whole affair.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

The Man of Coins and the 6 of Cups

Monday, April 13th, 2015.  I slept quite well thanks to drinking a cup of sleep assisting tea.  And then the alarm had to sound.  However, up and at 'em we were.

We did our weekly shopping and ran another errand later in the afternoon as we set out for our weekly afternoon coffee.  Since I awoke early yesterday, I found myself nodding off during the evening news but thankfully, dinner had to made so I was able to stay awake until just after 10:00pm as again I was nodding off during the late news cast.

Thank You Spirit.

Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is the “Man of Coins: Responsible and hard-working. Reliable. Dependable" with some added hints for the day coming from the “6 of Cups: Happy Birthday.  Fond memories.  A gift given in friendship or love."

We all have the gift of the divine in our lives and for most of and barring unforeseen circumstances far beyond our control, it's a matter of what we do with these divine gifts that determines our place and situation in life and where we can take our lives when we put our minds to it.  Not only must we be hardworking, reliable and dependable for others, we must also be these thing to ourselves too!

When we are in our zone and in our centre we find ourselves in a place that lacks time and space simply is.  This for me is the purity of heart, mind, body, and soul or spirit.  I simply cease to exist and simply am.  This is where our journey must take us and this can only be accomplished through discipline, responsibility, and unconditional love.  We must always strive to simply "be".

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

Knight of Bows - Fox

Sunday, April 12th, 2015.  We didn't do a whole heck of a lot yesterday.  After Tarot, the gym, and breakfast I worked on my model railroad layout for a couple of hours.  We then an errand before returning home to have and piddle around for an hour or two before preparing for our evening out.

We had dinner with friends in Vancouver.  Dinner and the conversation as always were great and before we knew it was nearing eleven.  A five hour visit.  Then was back home, relax a spell, and then crawling into bed.

Thank You Spirit.

Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is the "Knight of Bows: Fox - Determination leads you to success but sometimes at personal cost.  Your life may change or enter a different path at any moment.  Native wit and cleverness guide your steps toward fulfilment, as does your gift of anticipating the future."

At times we may find ourselves heading down a path with the fierce determination needed to succeed and not see what we're losing in the process until it's lost.  However, taking on the role of the fox will provide us with the cleverness needed to peek into the future and adapt to the ever changing paths we often find ourselves on these days.

Determination, flexibility, and adaptability are what will help us all move forward with the strength, courage, a forward thinking minds and spirits needed to meet with success in our future.

Ace of Bows: Spark of Life

Saturday, April 11, 2015.  I was feel beaten down and totally worn out when I arrived home so I decided to let Tarot speak for itself while I sat and relaxed with a cold glass of beer.  Work is super busy these days and I truly barely have a moment to myself or even my own thoughts.  I'm busy both mentally and physically and it's proving to be an exhausting experience for me but I carry on.  With the inner strength, courage, and stamina and the other divine gifts that I'm not even aware of I continue to move forward with my job.

Thank You Spirit.

Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is the "Ace of Bows: Spark of Life (Wildwood Tarot) - Be prepared to learn new skills, adapt to a changing environment, and focus and tune your instincts to the task at hand."

If we take action in our live the universe will respond in kind.  If we keep an open mind and a high degree of flexibility we should be able to see our goals, projects, and dreams come to fruition in one form or another.  If we focus our minds yet are adaptable to ever changing circumstances we may even see our goals, projects, and dreams in a new light where they take on new forms and give better opportunities to succeed in the future.

The "Spark of Life" resides within us all it's simply a matter of how we react to and use it to improve our lives and make the world a better place.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

XV Self-Hatred and 9 of Coins

Friday, April 10, 2015.  What to write?  Do I have the energy or the inclination to write?

Do I really have anything to say today about Tarot or anything else for that matter?

Perhaps, today is a good day to simply let the cards speak for themselves:

Today's visiting Tarot is the “XV Self-Hatred: The trap to avoid for all minorities.  Unconsciously accepting societal norms.  Low self-esteem" with a few hints given by the “6 of Coins: Dependence.  Resentment because of financial dependence on another.  Charity.  An unequal relationship".

These "Gay Tarot" cards are courtesy of Lee Burston and artwork courtesy of Antonella Platano.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

The 5 and 8 of Swords - Frustration and Struggle

Thursday, April 9, 2015.  Another busy day of work ate up the entire day without nary a minute to enjoy lunch or even have moment to myself but it was a good day none-the-less.  Likely helped by a good night's sleep that itself was helped by a nice hot cup of sleep assisting tea.  I didn't consciously stir until about 5:30 this morning.

Thank You Spirit.

Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is the “5 of Swords: The Tennis Game.  Being overly competitive.  A game which gets out of hand.  A pattern of always needing to win, or to lose” with more advice coming from the 8 of Swords: The Crowded Subway. Restriction.  Being trapped by your own biases and prejudices.  Feeling lonely in a crowd.”

Working toward our goals can be a frustrating and discouraging experience but if we reach deep down into the very core of our being we can find the courage to face these struggles, frustrations and fears head on and transcend them with divine strength and a clear and un-distracted mind.  Focus is required along with the ability to fend off distractions that will suck the energy right out of us if we give it any attention.

Take the higher ground and climb your way to success.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

The 2 of Wands and XVII The Star - From Subconscious to Reality

Wednesday, April 8, 2015.  Another day come and gone.  But I did have a better night's sleep, it wasn't great but I rested much more than the night before so I'm happy.  However, my working life is getting busier than what is comfortable for me to handle however I'm still in the "liking my job" phase so I continue my efforts for the company.  My ultimate goal is still to live life on the road.  I like the of seeing the blacktop pass me by as I roll along mile after mile or km after km since I live in Canada.

Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is the “2 of Wands: Confidence. Being the king of your castle. Preparing the ground for a new venture. The dawn of an adventure” with encouragement coming from “XVII The Star: Spirit is Real.  Hope. Serenity.  Clarity.  Having faith in an underlying or overlying spirit.  A dream becomes real.”

It's time to recognize and harness the universal energy at work in our lives for the time to make a decision is nigh.  It's time to harness the momentum being handed to us and using it to embark on the journey of our dreams.  It's time to bring our dreams from the subconscious into the real world.  Let's make them happen while we are in this time and this place of perfect divine energy coursing through our veins and in the palm of our hands.

Let's do it!

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

XIX The Sun and the 8 of Coins - Boring and Tedious?

Tuesday, April 7th, 2015.  We had a wonderful day yesterday.  I awoke and relaxed with Tarot as Spirit permeated the air and filled me up with divine love.

We decided to go out for a hike, more of a walk than anything really but it was a new hiking trail for us, the Capilano Pacific Trail and we enjoyed the walk as we soaked in nature and let our humanity slip away for a spell.  We set out for our walk from Ambleside Park in West Vancouver walking along the water with the city in view.  It took sometime before civilization gave way to a full and hardy dose of abundant nature but the walk was a worthwhile outing.  Our walk took as along the Capilano River up to the Cleveland Dam built to collect and hold our drinking water.  From the dam we hopped aboard a bus and took a scenic ride through the streets of North Vancouver before returning to our starting point where we took lunch at the Park Royal Mall.  Then it was homeward bound for us.

We relaxed and had ourselves a late dinner and a short relaxing evening before slipping into bed for our nightly rest.  However, I awoke at 3:00am and never got another winks sleep before the alarm sounded at six and boy am I feeling it tonight.

Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is “XIX The Sun: The best moments in life are rooted in the ordinary.  Contentment.  Optimism.  Ordinariness.  Satisfaction from a job well done.  Familiarity.” with another supporting visit from the “8 of Coins: The Factory.  Skill and mastery.  Tedious, repetitive labour.  Slow and methodical progress."

I love my boring life.  I'm sure I've said that before however it's worth repeating as I've found contentment in a simple and mundane life.  I've learned many lessons that I'm finally putting to good use and if I strive to learn more I'll be living more purposely than even and more actively engaged in living my life than I ever thought possible.

I'm learning to appreciate some tedious work I have to undertake as I move ever forward toward real financial independence but what wonderful ride its turning out to be.  Yesterday, I went to bed feeling a little depressed and even with a lack of sleep and awaking tired and sleepy I was ready to get up and get on with my day.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

Queen of Arrows (Swan)

Monday, April 6th, 2015.  I took a well deserved day off today otherwise I'd be heading off in that direction right about now, 7:11am.  Thank goodness I have another day to enjoy this wonderful long weekend.

Yesterday after the gym, a quick breakfast and experimenting with the camera we headed on over to IHOP in uptown New Westminster to meet my brother and uncle for an early lunch.  The food and conversation were good and quite enjoyable.  After eating, talking, and visiting for a couple of hours we all parted company and went our separate ways.  We drove on over to Save On Foods for our weekly grocery run.
We then hung around the house, where someone was laying with his camera while the other cleaned the house but it is an arrangement and separation of chores and duties that we both agree on so all is good.  We headed out for a gelato (Tre Galli) and a quick walk along the pier and over the newly completed walkway and overpass that connects the park to Columbia Street so that we can now do a circle walk instead of a back and forth--very nice.

Not much else happened.  Oh, we ran into and had a quick visit with an acquaintance we met through one person or another then it was time for dinner and an evening of relaxation.

Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is the "Queen of Arrows (Swan): A state of separation may exist, bringing with it sorrow, privation, and misfortune.  You may need to break old bonds and find new rivers in which to swim if you are to move beyond this place of darkness and loss."
We must strive to be ever mindful of the words we speak along with the actions we take so as to not bring hurt or cause harm to another as this can lead to stormy emotions, sorrow, and loss.  This can simply be a word here and there but these build up over time and if we ignore the small and simple signals we receive from the person being hurt by our words it may lead to unforeseen and undesirable consequences for all parties concerned.

Let's lift each other today with loving attitudes and smiles all around.  Be honest and sincere, polite and amicable, and bite your tongue so as to stop those harmful words from ever crossing your lips.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

The Ace of Vessels: The Waters of Life

Sunday, April 5th, 2015.  Easter, the observance of the story of the resurrection of Jesus.

I made the plunge and went ahead and purchased a new camera, a Nikon D5200 kit and what a challenge this became.  I reserved the camera, tripod, memory card, and wireless kit online for in-store pick-up that should have me able to claim my purchase in a little over two hours.  However, some three hours later I had still not received an email to that effect so I called.  They could not fulfill my order as some items were no longer available in the store even though their online inventory numbers suggested otherwise so after my call and being on hold for 10 or so minutes I had to wait another fifteen to twenty minutes before I was able to retrieve half of what I purchased.

I arrive at the store to pick up my order but not so easy as they made more changes to it, good changes thankfully.  I received an upgrade to the memory card as the one I chose was not available and lo and behold the found the wireless adapter that was no longer available.  Oh, and then I get a further $20.00 discount as the DVD is on sale for $10.00 so I added on a filter for the lens to protect it from potential damage--the ever menacing scratch.

I left the store, arrived home and then we headed downtown Vancouver for a coffee and a stroll.  Very good coffee and pastries at "Pure Bread", check it out.  After a quick walk around the city I headed into a store a picked up a tripod, one of the items scratched off of my original camera purchase as the one I ordered could not be found and I did not desire to spend hundreds of dollars for a tripod.

We returned home and then I started the process of putting my purchase together...oh-oh...where is the camera battery and charger...don't tell me...it's not included in the kit...no...it is...says so right here on the box.  A phone to the store...on hold...we found a battery and charger for you...off to the store again...and so far so good...more to come...

Sunday morning and for me the observance and recognition of the power and influence of the Full Moon as she sets in the morning sky.  I sat out on the deck with my new and used The Wildwood Tarot under the light of the Moon, piping hot coffee in hand to keep me warm as the moon's rays mingled with my new cards, another extension of the cosmos, of me.

Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is the "Ace of Vessels: The Waters of Life.  The waters of life retain the ancient wisdom ready for reawakening.  The moonlit pool of the universal soul retains all memory, ready to renew the inspired quest."

We have always been and likely always will be ruled by emotions and it is how we keep our emotions in and balance and in check that determines how our walk in life will be.  We must forever strive to express our emotions in the positive ways possible without ever repressing or suppressing them for o do so will create rebellious and destructive energy in our souls.

It is a challenge however, a challenge that we can meet with great success if we learn from history and tap into the all encompassing eternal and universal wisdom that fills us all.  This especially true if we recognize, acknowledge and understand that we are very much a part of this world and not separate from or above it all.  Recognize that we are very much the air that we breathe, the very waters that quench our thirst so let's be respectful of Mother Earth and appreciate how she sustains us and not think that we sustain her.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

The 8 of Coins and the 5 of Wands

Saturday, April 4th, 2015. Time to take in the Full Moon and do some magick.

We had another quiet day at home, doing almost a whole lot of nothing but not really.  I made a quick drive to a retail store to check out a camera.  It'll be quite the investment as not only do I need a camera, I also need a camera bag, tripod, filters, a flash, a memory card and likely a whole slew of other things that I don't even know I need yet.  So I'm taking my time with this purchase as it's going to take a good chunk of change out of the wallet.

I also piddle around with my model railroad, mostly mental work however I did cut and carve a bit of foam.  I can't do much as I'm in limbo until I get a good camera that can take larger format photos, a minimum of 1MB.

I also worked with Tarot for a good part of the morning and as well as throughout the day as I left the cards out to remind me of their presence as I went about my day.

Thank You Spirit.

Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is the “8 of Coins: The Factory.  Skill and mastery.  Tedious, repetitive labour.  Slow and methodical progress" with further re-enforcement coming from the “5 of Wands: The Hockey Game.  The project meets resistance.  Testing one’s ideas against others.  An enjoyable struggle.  Competition in the marketplace."

The energy needed to further as well as to master our skills and creativity is within us, within our minds and right at our fingertips all we need to do is ask, to recognize and acknowledge where it comes from for it is always within us, if only we dare to harness this divine gift of spirit and energy.  Work is still needed as we need to train our minds, our muscles, our arms, legs, eyes, and fingertips so we develop the skills and dexterity needed to bring our creativity to life.  And of course, this also come with the courage, strength, and perseverance needed to get past the hurdles, mistakes, and roadblocks we will encounter along the way.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

The 4 and 7 of Wands - Celebrating and Embracing Change

Friday, April 3rd, 2015.  A Blessed Good Friday to all.

We had a quiet and relaxing evening at home as is the norm these days.  We both breathed a sigh of relief when each of us got home as we both had very busy days.  I was out on the road doing deliveries and customer service for a good chunk of the day before returning to the office where I continued my busy day.  The company is growing and expanding at a rapid pace so a few of us are running around taking care of that as well as doing everything else we need to do complete our daily tasks.  But it is a good busy as we as a company do need to grow.

Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is the “4 of Wands: Setting the Stage.  Opening night finally arrives.  A venture has been established.  Celebrating initial achievements" with further guidance coming from the “7 of Wands: Fighting the wind.  A Quixotic struggle.  Winning against the odds.  Confrontation".

It's time to celebrate the change taking place in our lives.  Although, change may at times be painful it is also a fact of life that we must accept and acknowledge and what better way to do this than to celebrate it.  Let's celebrate the clearing out of the old and cleansing renewal that takes place with change.  Let this change blossom and bring forth a new you.  It's time to embrace and take control of the change in our lives.  Celebrate with love and acceptance and a deepening spirituality and understanding of life.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

10 of Swords and the Ace of Wands

Thursday, April 2nd, 2015.  I missed a day of writing as I worked overtime and then had a telephone tutorial at 6:00pm, mere minutes after getting home.  On top of all of this we needed to make a mid-week grocery run.  Yikes!  Makes for an awfully quick evening as it was bedtime before I knew it and the up for another day of work.

Spirit Is and yesterday's visiting Tarot was “XVIII The Moon: Sexuality pulls us into a different, non-rational world which is sometimes frightening, always creative.  A sense of mystery.  Creative ideas which gestate in the subconscious.  Sexuality or sex” with the “Youth of Swords: Curiosity.  Research.  Computers, e-mail.  Immature communication.  Spying (or "hacking")” providing some context.

Today's visiting Tarot is the “10 of Swords: You Choose the Script.  You can choose to plug yourself into a negative viewpoint, or to unplug yourself from one.  The end of a bad situation.  Hysterical overreaction" and the “Ace of Wands: A creative inspiration. The beginning of a project or venture” providing context.

Let's all close our eyes and take a deep breath!  Take another breath, in, and out, inhale and exhale.  Breathe in the loving energy of Spirit and exhale the stale negative energy of doubt and fear.  Let Spirit, the cosmos fill us with peace, harmony, and love.  Be still and know, know who you are, where you need to go, and how to get there.  Let's open our eyes...

What lessons can we take from our ancestors, even our parents and grandparents?  How can we get more in touch with the invaluable knowledge that is dying away with those who crossover into the otherworld.  We need these lessons.  We need to reconnect and maintain contact and have a relationship with the "primitive" knowledge and skills that are moving beyond our grasp so we can better deal with the present and prepare ourselves for the future.  Skills and knowledge that can help take us to where we want to go.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.
