Monday, January 11, 2016. A perplexing, mish-mash of hectic and recurring dreams made for a long, sweaty night and little sleep.
Today's Tarot Energy is “XV Self-Hatred: The trap to avoid for all minorities. Unconsciously accepting societal norms. Low self-esteem."
During my lunch break today I was thinking about “XV Self-Hatred" as I was walking by IHOP and into the Lougheed Mall. With this thought came along a notice of people enjoying lunch at the restaurant and the desire to be stringing together a Tarot story for a client. And as I sat back in my office doing my job I envisioned myself working with clients as I travelled even if I'm enjoying an overseas vacation somewhere in Europe...
....societal norms are just not for me. I need to do something different, really different and perhaps my meeting tomorrow evening with a Google Client Services Representative will lead to me doing just that. I'm better than I give myself credit for and have a lot to offer so I need to get a move on and be more active in blogging pro-actively, effectively, diligently, and meaningfully and doing more to solicit clients who will appreciate the services I have to offer.
We must strive to accept ourselves for who we are and love ourselves regardless of the opinions of others. Yes, we may have challenges and issues that make us stand out from others but we have a right to be our true selves even if this bucks societal norms and maybe rubs people the wrong way. It's not always bad to be and live our lives a bit differently than others.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

Queen of Arrows (Swan)
Monday, April 6th, 2015. I took a well deserved day off today otherwise I'd be heading off in that direction right about now, 7:11am. Thank goodness I have another day to enjoy this wonderful long weekend.
Yesterday after the gym, a quick breakfast and experimenting with the camera we headed on over to IHOP in uptown New Westminster to meet my brother and uncle for an early lunch. The food and conversation were good and quite enjoyable. After eating, talking, and visiting for a couple of hours we all parted company and went our separate ways. We drove on over to Save On Foods for our weekly grocery run.
We then hung around the house, where someone was laying with his camera while the other cleaned the house but it is an arrangement and separation of chores and duties that we both agree on so all is good. We headed out for a gelato (Tre Galli) and a quick walk along the pier and over the newly completed walkway and overpass that connects the park to Columbia Street so that we can now do a circle walk instead of a back and forth--very nice.
Not much else happened. Oh, we ran into and had a quick visit with an acquaintance we met through one person or another then it was time for dinner and an evening of relaxation.
Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is the "Queen of Arrows (Swan): A state of separation may exist, bringing with it sorrow, privation, and misfortune. You may need to break old bonds and find new rivers in which to swim if you are to move beyond this place of darkness and loss."
We must strive to be ever mindful of the words we speak along with the actions we take so as to not bring hurt or cause harm to another as this can lead to stormy emotions, sorrow, and loss. This can simply be a word here and there but these build up over time and if we ignore the small and simple signals we receive from the person being hurt by our words it may lead to unforeseen and undesirable consequences for all parties concerned.
Let's lift each other today with loving attitudes and smiles all around. Be honest and sincere, polite and amicable, and bite your tongue so as to stop those harmful words from ever crossing your lips.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.
