Sunday, April 5th, 2015. Easter, the observance of the story of the resurrection of Jesus.
I made the plunge and went ahead and purchased a new camera, a Nikon D5200 kit and what a challenge this became. I reserved the camera, tripod, memory card, and wireless kit online for in-store pick-up that should have me able to claim my purchase in a little over two hours. However, some three hours later I had still not received an email to that effect so I called. They could not fulfill my order as some items were no longer available in the store even though their online inventory numbers suggested otherwise so after my call and being on hold for 10 or so minutes I had to wait another fifteen to twenty minutes before I was able to retrieve half of what I purchased.
I arrive at the store to pick up my order but not so easy as they made more changes to it, good changes thankfully. I received an upgrade to the memory card as the one I chose was not available and lo and behold the found the wireless adapter that was no longer available. Oh, and then I get a further $20.00 discount as the DVD is on sale for $10.00 so I added on a filter for the lens to protect it from potential damage--the ever menacing scratch.
I left the store, arrived home and then we headed downtown Vancouver for a coffee and a stroll. Very good coffee and pastries at "Pure Bread", check it out. After a quick walk around the city I headed into a store a picked up a tripod, one of the items scratched off of my original camera purchase as the one I ordered could not be found and I did not desire to spend hundreds of dollars for a tripod.
We returned home and then I started the process of putting my purchase together...oh-oh...where is the camera battery and charger...don't tell me...it's not included in the kit...no...it is...says so right here on the box. A phone to the store...on hold...we found a battery and charger for you...off to the store again...and so far so good...more to come...
Sunday morning and for me the observance and recognition of the power and influence of the Full Moon as she sets in the morning sky. I sat out on the deck with my new and used The Wildwood Tarot under the light of the Moon, piping hot coffee in hand to keep me warm as the moon's rays mingled with my new cards, another extension of the cosmos, of me.
Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is the "Ace of Vessels: The Waters of Life. The waters of life retain the ancient wisdom ready for reawakening. The moonlit pool of the universal soul retains all memory, ready to renew the inspired quest."
We have always been and likely always will be ruled by emotions and it is how we keep our emotions in and balance and in check that determines how our walk in life will be. We must forever strive to express our emotions in the positive ways possible without ever repressing or suppressing them for o do so will create rebellious and destructive energy in our souls.
It is a challenge however, a challenge that we can meet with great success if we learn from history and tap into the all encompassing eternal and universal wisdom that fills us all. This especially true if we recognize, acknowledge and understand that we are very much a part of this world and not separate from or above it all. Recognize that we are very much the air that we breathe, the very waters that quench our thirst so let's be respectful of Mother Earth and appreciate how she sustains us and not think that we sustain her.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.
