We're wrapping up the year this day so may it be filled with much love, peace, and goodwill toward all! May we all welcome 2016 with love in our hearts and peace and hope filling our spirits...
...and HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Today, I have off with pay for "good behaviour". My employers recognize and appreciate all my extra time and effort in helping them grow and solidify their business so they offered the day off to me so I humbly and gratefully accepted the offer. Someone else in my household is extremely happy as we our hosting another New Year's Eve Dinner!
I hoped to get to the gym early this morning however it's unlikely to happen as I just returned from my quick jaunt there and the hours are restricted today so instead of opening at 5:30am like they normally do during the week, they open at 8:00am and close at 4:00pm. I'll try to get there at some point this morning but my gym time might have to wait until Saturday morning.

The Ace of Cups and Renewed Love, Friendship, and Partnership
Wednesday, December 30, 2015. No blogging since the 24th. Where have I been?
Busy travelling to and from Portland this past weekend. We left Christmas Day and came back on Monday. We stayed in what I believe is the Hawthorne neighbourhood. A very funky area of Portland with many unique stores (The Gold Door, Moonshadow), restaurants (El Cubo de Cuba, ¿Por Que No?) and independent coffee places. We watched "Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens" at the Bagdad Theater on the 26th, eating dinner at their restaurant after movie. On Christmas Day we had great Thai food at "My Thai Bistro". On the 27th we had some tasty donuts and coffee at Blue Star Donuts--orange and olive oil, raspberry and rosemary, and lemon and poppy seed. The night before we left we had pizza and beer while watching "The Martian" at the Laurelhurst Theater.
We had two cats, Alistair and Shirley as our hosts as the owner of what I'll say is a bed and breakfast spent Christmas with family out of state. It was fun having the cats around. We got in a good fill of cuddles and pet time with them both.
Today's Tarot Energy is the “Ace of Cups: A gift of love. The beginning of a love affair, friendship, or partnership.”
I awoke from a beautiful dream about my partner and myself and declarations of love and gratefulness. In fact, I think the entire night of my dreams swirled around our relationship as it was a very beautiful, relaxing, and enlightening night of sleep.
I appreciate this gift of renewed love, friendship, and partnership I have for my partner, that we have for each other. It's a great way to end 2015 and ring in the New Year!

'X The Wheel' Returns
Thursday, December 24th, 2015. Merry Christmas Eve!
Another wonderful night of sleep and subconscious and dreamy reflection. The alarm serenaded us out of our slumber.
Today's Pagan Tarot Energy is the return of "X The Wheel - When the wheel turns round, it brings with it new opportunities to reach for the path in life we were destined to walk. It is not about stepping back to the past, but giving you a second chance to have what you were meant to have and do what you were meant to do."
A predominant select second chance abounds for me and I need to take a step back and let my eyes, mind, and spirit be opened so I can see it or maybe even them. I say this because I received an email yesterday from an editor of a magazine asking me if I'm still interested in writing an article for his magazine. I replied in the positive. I also believe my dreams have involved writing and teaching so I'm going to spend some time over the next week or so putting pen to paper to see where my hand and that pen take me.
Tarot through Spirit and the interconnectedness of the cosmos are leading me to my place in the universe and the role I must play in this world I find myself living in. I entrust my life and living to the guidance and presence of Spirit. Am I following destiny or simply the path I've laid out for myself? I'm not totally sure but the answer is just around the corner and perhaps only a sleep away.

'XVIII the Moon' and Facing Fears Head On To Spur Creativity in Life
Wednesday, December 23, 2015. Today's Tarot Energy is “XVIII The Moon: Sexuality pulls us into a different, non-rational world which is sometimes frightening, always creative. A sense of mystery. Creative ideas which gestate in the subconscious. Sexuality or sex.”
Be comfortable with who you are and take time out to look within and face your fears. Draw down the moon and look at your fears head on. Allow the presence of Spirit to be with you and look deeply into your fears to see just how irrational they are. 'X The Wheel' and Not Forcing What Cannot Be
Tuesday, December 22, 2015. Merry Yule. Happy Winter Solstice. Llewellyn's 2015 Magical Almanac has it down as the 21st however most other calendars have it listed for today. So I'm either on time or a day late but either way I sincerely wish the best for all!
Today's Pagan Tarot Energy is "X The Wheel - When the wheel turns round, it brings with it new opportunities to reach for the path in life we were destined to walk. It is not about stepping back to the past, but giving you a second chance to have what you were meant to have and do what you were meant to do."

Another second chance is floating in the air for us to reach out and grab hold of and how can we do this? To know what we can and cannot control in life (our will vs. the forces of nature), by working in harmony with nature and by keeping an eye out for opportunities that will steer us toward much growth and achievement of our goals.
"X The Wheel" always turns so we must remain ever so vigilant so as not to miss that opportunity that once again has been brought before us so we do have what we are meant to have and to do what we are meant to do.

The '2 of Cups' and Finding Acceptance and Balance
Monday, December 21, 2015. Spirit was kind and provided me with a solid, good night's sleep where I was sleeping so well that when I awoke to use the bathroom I was crawling out of bed when the alarm started her serenade...what a wonderful feeling.
Spirit is and today's Tarot Energy is the “2 of Cups: The Dialogue. A balanced relationship. Being able to see things from the other’s perspective.”
The image on this particular card is of a man looking into the mirrored closet doors in his room. The dialogue referred to here is the dialogue you have with yourself whether this is literally a conversation you are having with yourself or one you'd like to have another person, this card is about bringing clarity and balance to the whole affair. And what better way to do this than to have a conversation in front of a mirror where get to see your facial expressions and body language and reactions to what your banter is about whether your saying it all to yourself or in a rehearsed conversation you intend to have with someone else.
The “2 of Cups" is also about finding balance within yourself as between who you are and what you desire to be. Change can only come when we love and accept ourselves for who we are today. Build on what we like about ourselves and make small changes toward what is desired and/or what needs to be changed. And to clarify, acceptance is not about staying the same but rather identifying, accepting and loving yourself for who you are at this moment before trying to bring about change or forcing change on yourself. You need to know who you are now before you change who you are and become or transform yourself into someone you desire to be. Change yourself from inside out and then strike a balance.

The '7 of Wands' and a Worthwhile Struggle
Sunday, December 20th, 2015. We ventured out to White Rock mid-morning so I could pick up a couple of model railroad supplies I ordered awhile back as the supplier called me twice and emailed me once about picking up these two items so I thought that yesterday was the day to get it over and done with.
On our way we made a pit stop at our favourite grocer and picked up our weekly food supplies, a lighter week with it being Christmas and all so it was a quick and easy stop. We also had lunch out. We relaxed for most of the afternoon doing not much of anything before venturing out to friends for their annual "Seasonal Party". I must have set my watch wrong yesterday after putting in a new battery as we thought we were leaving relatively early at 9:30pm but it was in fact 10:30pm....aaarrrggghhh.
Spirit Is and today's Tarot Energy is the “7 of Wands: Fighting the wind. A Quixotic struggle. Winning against the odds. Confrontation.”
Sometimes, the biggest and hardest struggles we have are with ourselves and this is what I'm finding in my own life. Trying to balance all of the competing situations, circumstances, elements and demands in my life gets to be rather difficult and tiring at times but I'm plodding along so I can get to where I want to be in within the next twelve months or so. And at times, I must admit it can be fun and even quite enlightening so it's all good.
If you find yourself in a struggle of sorts maybe take a step back and analyze the situation from a new angle. Perhaps, you'll find a new way to cope or another way to work around your dilemma or perhaps find a way to transcend it where it becomes a slight battle scar and a new source of strength for you. The “7 of Wands" points to a good outcome source there is your/our source of hope.

The 'Ten of Chalices' and Being Joy and Happiness For Others
Saturday, December 19, 2015. Another early morning, earlier also in the fact that I awoke somewhere between 2:30 and 3am and tossed and turned for a bit before awaking again around ten to six. I slipped out of bed knowing full well that I was done with sleep and would fall back into a sound sleep at all.
Last night on my way home I was finally able to pick up my parcel at my local yet not so local or close UPS Access Point. After relaxing for a spell and before dinner I open up my two parcels both from Amazon however shipped via two different companies--UPS and Canada Post. My other parcel arrived yesterday. So I unpacked my new book which I must set out and read, "The Old Magic of Christmas" by Linda Raedisch and "The Son Tarot" by Christopher Butler. With a quick browse of each I know I going to enjoy delving into each them in greater detail over the coming days.
Hhhmmm...I have an idea...for now I'll keep it under wraps but what a great idea (for me at least) it is.

A rainbow overhead, puppies, kittens, babies, and flowers add to a scene that couldn't be happier. If your life isn't fulfilled with puppies and flowers, if you're not surrounded by the people who matter most to you, plan a party and invite them over. If you don't have a particular event to celebrate, celebrate the general abundance and beauty of life and each other. By telling others how special they are to you, you'll open the door for your own happiness. Everyone needs a love fest once in a while. Make it happen."

Make them feel loved and as special as they are, for we are all unique individuals and deserve to be treated as such. Extend your love and warmth and feel come back to stronger than what you sent out.

'10 The Wheel' and Finding Your Opportunity
Friday, December 18th, 2015. What a great night of sleep I had. I awoke, had to use the bathroom but when I crawled back into bed I was feeling quite awake but it was so dark out I thought I had a few more hours of sleep left or a few more hours to try and sleep. Reluctantly, I looked at the time...5:23am...heck if it's that time I'll just get up.
So I slipped out of bed as quietly as I could. I made coffee, worked with Tarot, had breakfast, made lunch, and then snuck into the bedroom to get my clothes and other essentials for my work day. Someone was enjoying a very long, restful sleep and I was glad not to disturb such a great and well deserved sleep.
Spirit Is and today's Tarot Energy is "X The Wheel - When the wheel turns round, it brings with it new opportunities to reach for the path in life we were destined to walk. It is not about stepping back to the past, but giving you a second chance to have what you were meant to have and do what you were meant to do."
One thing I forgot to mention yesterday is that as I thought about "X The Wheel" on my way to work, Skype came immediately to mind and then I envisioned myself spend many hours a day on Skype conversing and interacting with people eager partake in my spiritual, coaching, and/or tarot and/or chakra work. And this morning as I flipped over and noticed that "X The Wheel" is making another appearance I envisioned myself balancing the hours worked at my current job with working mostly via Skype as "Wizard Oron" and publishing two or three blogs as the income coming from each is on the rise and more intriguing and enticing blog posts are in order...I can definitely handle this...cool!
An opportunity or three are swirling about us and we need to stop for a moment and take notice of them. Put the phone, down, turn off the TV, and quit playing those video games and have a good look around...an opportunity is likely lying in plain sight...however our busy work-a-day lives and technologically controlled lives are keeping us from seeing these opportunities that need to be seen if we are to become what we truly desire to become.
I've got my phone sitting on the sofa beside me and no desire to pick it up. The television is off and I don't play video games of any sort and to top it off I'm even ignoring my model railroad for the moment...now where is that opportunity? Where did it go?

'X The Wheel' and Second Chances
Thursday, December 17, 2015. I haven't had this happen in a very long time, so long ago in fact I can't really remember this ever happening before and that is sleeping through the alarm. I was so sound asleep that the alarm sounded until it shut itself off a minute or two later. My partner awoke me this morning. I did awake at some point through the night and tossed and turned a little bit but seemingly fell asleep rather quickly as it's now just a foggy memory of my sleep last night.
Spirit Is and today's Tarot Energy is "X The Wheel - When the wheel turns round, it brings with it new opportunities to reach for the path in life we were destined to walk. '0 The Fool' and Reaching Beyond Ourselves
Wednesday, December 16th, 2015. Awoke this morning to the serenade of the alarm but wanted nothing more than to roll over and fall back to sleep. Relaxing evenings are proving to so relaxing that I'm sleeping very well and seemingly needing to sleep longer.
Today's visiting Tarot Energy is “0 The Fool: Accepting and exploring one's sexual identity is a journey of self-discovery. Beginning a new and exciting venture. Going beyond the limits of social convention. A non-conformist.”
I made a couple of online orders from Amazon and the first delivery arrived today however, no one was home to receive it so the UPS driver delivered the package to one of their access points. Problem is the access point is the farthest one away from where we live. We have a UPS Store about a block from our place yet according to UPS this other location is the most convenient access point for me to pick up my package from...I don't think so. I'm calling UPS tomorrow to have word with them about this...
But let's get back to “0 The Fool" and see where he takes us this day...let's move beyond the confines of our normal existence and let's reach beyond ourselves this day. Where can we go and where can we take ourselves when we seek to go beyond what we know of ourselves? We are being asked to trust and have a little blind faith in the universe to lead us to a better place or simple better places in general. And be a bit of a non-conformist, if you will. The 'Youth of Coins' and Exercising Our Bodies So We Can Also Have Healthy Minds and Spirits
Tuesday, December 15, 2015. As the evening ticked by I continued to work on my "Tarot Encyclopedia" and with that the evening was soon getting to the point of going to bed so we had tea and cookies, dreamland tea and peanut butter cookies to be precise. However with the dreamland tea still having an effect I wanted to stay in bed this morning...
Spirit Is and today's Tarot Energy is “Youth of Coins: Focusing on the physical. Beginning a regimen. Matters relating to nutrition and exercise.”
I've been trying to commit myself to going to the gym as many days in a week as I can over the past couple of weeks in an effort to remain fit and healthy for many years to come. I'm eating healthier and a more balanced diet where I'm doing more to maintain a mostly sugar free diet, eliminating as sugar where I can - breakfast, protein shakes, and snacks to name a few.
A healthy body is needed in order to maintain and healthy mind and a healthy spirit. We continually seek outdoor adventures and activities especially if it gets us closer to nature and this is only possible through our efforts to go to the gym and exercise on a regular basis as well as watching what we eat. Do we enjoy junk food? We certainly do however we keep it to minimum and choose as many healthy forms of junk food as we can.
Body, mind, and spirit are linked and we need to do our best to focus on each of these together and every now and then focus on an individual one as we are being reminded of today. We cannot allow ourselves to get lazy in any of these areas especially with our bodies as our minds and spirits rely on our bodies to function. A simply phrase to keep in mind is "garbage in, garbage out!".

The '4 of Coins' and Keeping Our Opinionated Ways to Ourselves
Monday, December 14, 2015. Last night was an odd one where my dreams were filled with a single person only. Every time I became aware that I was dreaming this one single person was the sole occupant of the dream. And I awoke with this single person on my mind along with Tarot.
Our evening was quiet as we both sent time doing our thing. I worked on my "Tarot Encyclopedia" and watched a bit of news here and there then we were in bed. Oh, and I was contemplating and giving a lot of thought to me, Wizard Oron and how I see myself in the future, visualizing myself as the traveling wizard, a spiritual nomad and doing my spiritual works where I find myself whether here at home in beautiful British Columbia or somewhere down in the great state of Georgia.
As I awoke from my slumber as I prepared the coffee and organized my deck of cards my mind was occupied with more thoughts of Tarot and beginning 2016 as Wizard Oron where 'Coaching', 'Tarot' or 'Chakra' work occupy a large chunk of time each and every day. And as today's Tarot Energy revealed itself, it also revealed a warning, if you will...don't let any position of power I may hold give way to me projecting my thoughts, ideas, beliefs, opinions, attitudes, or outlooks onto the people I'm trying to inspire.
Today's Tarot Energy is the “4 of Coins: The Lighting Director. A position of power. Wanting to control how others perceive things.”
So today, we have the “4 of Coins" offering guidance as we continue to partake in the ups and downs of the holiday season where our days are filled with work and the chaos of trying to put all of holiday plans into place before the holidays have come and gone. So as we grow in our influence within our social circles whether through our employment or otherwise we must ensure that we do our best to voice our opinions, ideas, and advice in such a way as to not be forceful or aggressive in our efforts to "win" people over to our point of view. The best we can do in this regard is to remember, value and respect that we all have our opinions and that differing points of view can and in most cases are valuable assets in the world today.

The 'Four of Swords' and Finding Solutions
Sunday, December 13th, 2015. Yesterday was mostly a homey day except for brunch with my brother and his girl friend and a quick shopping trip after dinner. A good thing too as it is a blustery stormy morning. The wind is driving the rain sideways and it's pelting the windows so hard that it sounds like someone rapping their knuckles hard against the front door.
So as we spent a mostly quiet day at home yesterday I worked on my model railroad and accomplished a lot as now I have a full support structure for my "Airline Route' over the centre of the layout. It's not yet complete as I still have to create cross-members and other support mechanisms to give it a more realistic look but it sure looks good now...Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today's Tarot Energy as drawn from the Pagan Tarot is the "Four of Swords: The rumpled bedclothes indicate a sleepless night for our Witch. The swords mounted on the wall represent her reason and wisdom. The sword she holds is the problem she's been facing. After a restless night, the morning finds her filled with clarity and purposefulness. There are lots of ways to solve problems. One way is to examine it from every possible angle, using all your experience and logic to determine solutions and outcomes. You are currently facing a problem that won't go away on its own. You need to use all your mental resources to solve this one. The result will be worth your effort."
For me this cards evokes such ideas as discipline, structure, focus, drive and determination. I feel a need to dive more into my Wizard Oron persona and spirit and let the "Wizard" lead the way.
A good way for me to do this is to dedicate my focus today on all matters of spirit and should I be drawn to working on my model railroad I must do so from a spiritual perspective. For as I write this I find my attention drawn to the creative forces that are highlighting how I can improve upon my "Airline Route". As I close my eyes and contemplate this day I also envision a Tarot Spread laid out before me. So this day is both about model railroading and Tarot...both very much being spiritual undertakings.
It's not so much a problem I face as it is a dilemma but of course, perspective is everything and what I'm facing is a desire to have a spiritual career versus the financial stability of a fulltime job that's been key to me servicing my heavy debt load, made heavier with the purchase of my camper van 'Serenity'.
I mentioned before that my goal is to earn anywhere from $75 to $100 per day from my spiritual endeavours whether its through 'Coaching', 'Tarot' or 'Chakra' work. So I put it out there to anyone reading this that if you know of anyone interested in the services I offer point them my way, it's much appreciated. This blog or my website 'www.wizardoron.ca' are good places to start. I can also be reached by email, 'wizard@wizardoron.ca' or via Skype 'wizardoron'. I give my heartfelt thanks and gratitude for being entrusted to assisting others so that they can inspire themselves to be more than they believe they can be and thus inspire me to be just as inspired.
My intention is to offer an initial two hour session followed by two or three 30 minute follow-up sessions. As although I have listed 'Coaching', 'Tarot' or 'Chakra' work separately they will in fact be part of a thorough session with each individual as I firmly believe that each is an integral component of each separate offering, if this makes any sense at all. For instance, a 'Coaching' session will involve working with Tarot and clearing and balancing an individual's chakras. Tarot will involve a degree of coaching and clearing and balancing an individual's chakras. And any 'Chakra' work I do will also involve a degree of coaching and Tarot work.
So, I guess, I do have a plan in place and now it's only a matter of receiving and interacting with my first, well second or third client, then, fourth, fifth, one hundredth, etc.

The '6 of Cups' and Showing Appreciation For All the Little Things
Saturday, December 12, 2015. I made what was tasting like a wonderful dinner, Chicken Provençal (I combined two recipes, clicking on either chicken or provençal will take you to the recipes) however, I suffered a bout of heartburn and couldn't finish my meal...aaarrrggghhh. And the rest of the evening disappeared rather quickly and I didn't do much else but I slept well and slept in past 7:00am...unusual but very much appreciated.
I awoke in a fog though and forgot all that I planned to do this morning and literally moments after I awoke my partner awoke so my usual silent morning routine went out the window and so without further ado, today's Tarot Energy fell away from the deck during shuffling, is the “6 of Cups: Happy Birthday. Fond memories. A gift given in friendship or love.”
Friendship, companionship, unconditional love and support, warmth, home, shelter, and a life shared are the energies of the day. It's a day to appreciate all those seemingly insignificant gifts and blessings we receive on a daily basis from our family, friends, and loved ones. Do your best to show your appreciation for what you have today.

The '5 of Cups' and Being Confused About What I'm Supposed to Be Regretful About
Friday, December 11, 2015. Another relaxing evening was spent visiting with Tarot as I wrote the blog and worked with my 'Tarot Encyclopedia'. Last night was a very relaxing, calming, enchanting, enlightening, and sleep inducing evening. I quite enjoyed my sleep even though one dream was a bit disruptive. Three or four young men in suits wanted to beat someone up. I thought at first that I was the recipient of the in mind only physical confrontation until I notice that the person being confronted by these men had somewhat short curly hair and the faint recollection of what he looks like reveals a a face that does not look like my own. Other dreams were just odds n ends...
Spirit Is and today's Tarot Energy is the “5 of Cups: The Aftermath. Regret over past actions.”
And I'm confused by this card...well not anymore...a light bulb just lit up above my head...I need to be a more 'zenful' driver and simply go with the flow...no more pet peeves about "bad" drivers on the road, heck I just might be one of them...
...one thing I like to do is not focus so much on "regret" as I'd like to focus more on taking regret out of the picture and instead focus on what I can learn from this tidbit of truth I've seen the light on and where this learning experience can take me.

The 'Two of Chalices', the '8 of Cups' and Learning to Appreciate and Celebrate Baby Steps Toward Our Goals
Thursday, December 10th, 2015. A relaxing evening working with Tarot made for a great night's sleep. And as I was working on my 'Tarot Encyclopedia' I decided upon today's card of the day from the Pagan Tarot. And the odd time, as I slept it popped into my mind. This morning along with this chosen card I decided to also work with my 'Gay Tarot' and discover what it had in store for today's card.
Today's chosen card and Tarot Energy is the "Two of Chalices. Our Witch sits at her vanity table, preparing for bed. She uses the powerful magick of visualization to achieve her goals. In her mirror, she sees an image of her ideal self. This self is who she is striving to be, a representation of the goals she has set for herself. She silently toasts this image and knows that each day, if she works at it, brings her one step closer to her goals. While it's great to have goals and know how you want to change and grow, you must balance that desire with loving and being comfortable with yourself as you are now. Working toward your goals in small, consistent steps every day will get you further faster than huge, random leaps."
And today's "random" card of the day and Tarot Energy is the “8 of Cups: Farewell. Moving on. Leaving behind a person, a situation, or a part of yourself."

Visualize yourself as having achieved your goals. Refer to your goals as already being accomplished, refer to them in the present tense. Learn to take baby steps rather than wanting to or trying to charge ahead only to come up short and become dismayed. Learn to appreciate and celebrate these small achievements. And lastly, leave the old habits and self-doubt behind.
It's hard work but it'll pay off in the end. Each day we strive to take a step toward our goals and see them as being real and accomplished, and in the here and bow the easier it will become to see ourselves through to the end. 'VII The Chariot' and a Day Filled with Self-Assurance and Self-Confidence
Wednesday, December 9th, 2015. Another evening was spent working with Tarot, being one with the Pagan Tarot Cards as I worked on my "Tarot Encyclopedia". I'm getting closer to being finished, if it can ever be finished as I'm sure I'll be adding to it in the very near future...

I had a very good night's sleep and was pleasantly awakened by the serenading alarm...I rather do enjoy being awoken by the alarm especially during the work week and additionally, I do enjoy awaking early on the weekends and spending quality time with Spirit. And this weekend I hope to do more than just he usual card of the day...I'll keep you posted.

'XIX The Sun' ad Finding Your Ordinary
Tuesday, December 8th, 2015. I've been busy building myself a bit of a Tarot Encyclopedia, if you will based on a few of my favourite Tarot Decks. It is slow progress but for me it is a work of love and enriches my spirit. I feel awe each time I on work on it. I've been working on it in between doing this. Of course, I have reasons for trying to get it down sooner rather than later and this is so I can have it ready before Christmas, a Christmas gift for myself.

Spirit Is and today's Tarot Energy is “XIX The Sun: The best moments in life are rooted in the ordinary. Contentment. Optimism. Ordinariness. Satisfaction from a job well done. Familiarity.”
I've been thinking a lot about Nature lately and how I'd like to have 'Serenity' backed up into a small grove of trees with the front of her pointing out to a beautiful meadow, mountain, lake, stream, river, pond or a beach and the ocean. For me this is ordinariness. Even as I sit here typing away on the keyboard I feel a sense of ordinariness and revel in the fact that I can easily be and celebrate the act of and being ordinary...I hope this makes sense.
I'm also quite content with putting Spirit front and centre in my life where my primary activities are meeting people who are interested in Coaching, Tarot, and/or Chakra Services. And the work on what I call my 'Tarot Encyclopedia' is going very well.

I've been thinking a lot about Nature lately and how I'd like to have 'Serenity' backed up into a small grove of trees with the front of her pointing out to a beautiful meadow, mountain, lake, stream, river, pond or a beach and the ocean. For me this is ordinariness. Even as I sit here typing away on the keyboard I feel a sense of ordinariness and revel in the fact that I can easily be and celebrate the act of and being ordinary...I hope this makes sense.
I'm also quite content with putting Spirit front and centre in my life where my primary activities are meeting people who are interested in Coaching, Tarot, and/or Chakra Services. And the work on what I call my 'Tarot Encyclopedia' is going very well.

The '10 of Cups' and Realizing Your Dreams
Monday, December 7th, 2015. Spent most of the weekend working on my model railroad. I didn't make a lot of progress yet the progress I made for me at least, is quite significant. Significant in terms of finding solutions to challenges that have been plaguing me for the last year or two...how to carry my skyline route over the rest of the layout. I had ideas but I could not find anything available commercially that matched my ideas or that would seemingly suit the purpose. So after mulling and fretting over the whole idea I decided to build part of the crossing with paper and my creation is looking pretty darned good.
A good night's sleep was hit and miss as I awoke a couple of times and was lucid dreaming throughout the night and then awoke about 30 minutes before the alarm. I wasn't really sleepy and could have slipped out of bed but I did not really want to be awake...Mondays are always like this for me...

We all have dreams however we all pursue them and/or forget about them in different ways and this changes throughout the journey of our lives. Attainment of our dreams is possible when we think about them and pursue them in a realistic manner and after much thought and planning. On rare occasions our dreams seem to fall into our laps. We need to pursue our dreams from a solid foundation and in a step by step well laid out process so we steer clear of falling into the trap of wishful thinking. We do not want to find ourselves pursuing a pipe dream because we've allowed our heads to soar into the clouds.
If you find yourself celebrating the attainment of your goals, enjoy yourself, celebrate...however always keep in mind what it took for you to get where find yourself today and be humble about it.

'XVI Revelation' and the Truth Revealed
Sunday, December 6th, 2015. What a wonderful Saturday we had. A nice quiet day at home. I worked on my model railroad the entire only taking breaks for lunch, afternoon coffee, dinner, and a shower. I reluctantly crawled into bed as I felt I didn't feel like stopping since I was on a good role and making good and significant progress.
I really enjoyed myself yesterday and Spirit was strong yesterday. Our place is filled with a large amount of loving, calming, and an active spiritual energy. It feels really good in here.
Spirit Is and today's Tarot Energy is “XVI Revelation: While it is usually best to tell the truth about yourself to those who are close to you, it can be a painful experience. A necessary destruction of the status quo. Having to tell someone an unwelcome truth. A new idea which upsets others.”
Openness and honesty are highly valued and for good reason too! Sometimes, we need to reveal "ugly" truths about ourselves and if and when we do raw, painful and bitter emotions will surface and erupt however we must do our part to extend ourselves spiritually to others with high doses of love, compassion, understanding, compromise, forgiveness and humility flowing freely from us.

'9 The Hooded Man' and the '5 of Swords' Retreating To Gain Knowledge and Finding Acceptance
Saturday, December 5th, 2015. On the way down the elevator, it stopped on the second floor and a neighbour stepped in and in small talk mentioned how far away from Monday that Friday always is and then how Friday ends up being the slowest day of the week where the work day seemingly will not come to an end. And this is exactly how my Friday turned out...a long slow and drawn out day where minutes barely ticked by...
But then the work day was over after a quick shower a few moments of relaxation we were over after my brother's place for his annual Christmas gathering of friends and family...the family part being me. It was a well attended evening and the bite size plates of food were delicious and then we were back home by about 10:30pm Now my brother wants to get together on Christmas Eve...we'll see about where we gather...we're hosting a New Year's Eve gathering so we don't want to host on Christmas Eve...I think a restaurant will have to do.
Yesterday's Tarot Energy is "9 The Hooded Man: The time of the Hooded Man is here. Whether he appears in the guise of an inner guide and mentor or simply as a state of mind, you will understand that now is a time to withdraw and rest. After a long journey through the Wildwood, many emotions and experiences need to be absorbed. This is the beginning of understanding - not just of yourself, but the universe. The hermit-like Hooded Man appears differently for everyone. Whether through meditation or solitude in the mountains, through prayer or holidaying in a secluded place, his light will illuminate the way to the heart of the endless cycle of being."
Today's Tarot Energy is “5 of Swords: The Tennis Game. Being overly competitive. A game which gets out of hand. A pattern of always needing to win, or to lose.”
Retreat for solitude and to gain understanding. And to understand that life is not always about winning or losing. We can look after our own interests however we should also try to find ways of doing so without negatively affecting others. Yes, this is sometimes hard to do but we must always strive to lift others up as best we can. Also, we all have limitations and we need to acknowledge this in our own lives. And we must also accept the fact that others may know better than us so we need be graciously humble at times as well.

'8 The Stag' Being Objective, Truthful and Maintaining Our Spiritual and Physical Well-Being
Thursday, December 3rd, 2015. Last night was another early evening for us...crawling into bed round 10:30pm. We watched a bit of television...a couple of our favourite programs - 'This Hour Has 22 Minutes' and the 'Rick Mercer Report'.
I awoke early and knew that it was late enough and yet early enough from the alarm for me to get up and have a bit more of a relaxing morning so I quietly slipped out of bed around 5:30am. I enjoyed the few extra minutes I had to be one with Spirit and Tarot. I do my best to give and show appreciation for being blessed with another day of life and of living as well as for the home I live in and all the gifts I have been given throughout my life.
Spirit Is and today's Tarot Energy is a continuation from yesterday, "8 The Stag: On a personal level, some kind of adjustment or interaction has taken place. The key word here is 'responsibility'. We must, as individuals, constantly observe the rules and regulations of society, and these can fluctuate as the views and knowledge of civilization change. Whether on a political or moral level, we subconsciously know when a realignment of our perception is due. This is a time to welcome the justice that has arrived with the coming of spring and the fire of creation. Face the coming season with honesty and integrity and trust to right and appropriate action."
Today is about bringing objectivity into our lives in order to restore balance and bring harmony into our lives. We need to be social and effectively communicate with others where the truth is out in the open, is well received and any wrongs are righted. Look for healthy ways of exercising both your spirit and your body so that we can steer ourselves clear of bad habits and bad situations that can lead to and get us in trouble.
Let's focus our energy on good tidings, loving thoughts, and extending our spirits to everyone we meet so that they may see a touch of Spirit in us all and where smiles grow on our faces and love fills our hearts.

'8 The Stag' and Fluctuating Societal Rules and Regulations
Wednesday, December 2, 2015. Last night we decided to go out to the movies, well a movie, Victor Frankenstein and what good and well acted movie it is. The acting was in our opinion, superb! Before hitting the movie we had what for us is an early dinner...homemade pea soup...delicious.
After the movie we came home and had some tea and cookies. Then an hour or so later we were crawling into bed for what for me was a great night's sleep. I did awake at some point to use the loo however I quickly fell back to sleep and then awoke mere minutes before the alarm.
Spirit Is and today's Tarot Energy is "8 The Stag: On a personal level, some kind of adjustment or interaction has taken place. The key word here is 'responsibility'. We must, as individuals, constantly observe the rules and regulations of society, and these can fluctuate as the views and knowledge of civilization change. Whether on a political or moral level, we subconsciously know when a realignment of our perception is due. This is a time to welcome the justice that has arrived with the coming of spring and the fire of creation. Face the coming season with honesty and integrity and trust to right and appropriate action."
This appears to be a time of fluctuating and changing societal rules and regulations as "8 The Stag" also appeared on Monday. Also, the climate is top of mind as over 150 countries discuss climate change and how to deal with it. Will they find an agreement and will it be enough to blunt the ever increasing changes to our climate? Or is it already too late? Perhaps, we're in for a rough and stormy winter.
"8 The Stag" is asking us to be prepared and draw upon our inner strength and courage to face the coming changes that must take place in our lives. It's time for us to reap what we have sown. And so this is again a time to "Face the coming season with honesty and integrity and trust to right and appropriate action."

The 'Youth of Cups' and Life is All About Contradictions
Tuesday, December 1, 2015. 2015 is winding down. We're in the final month of the year and the joyous holiday season is upon us. Hope we do our best to make life better for all those around and even those we often don't think about.
I found it hard to relax last night and my thoughts were scattered for a good part of the evening. The busy work day took me beyond the regular hours thus making for a late arrival home where I just fell into the sofa for a spell and just let go.
I did manage to clear my mind enough to interact with Tarot though and that lifted my spirit and allowed me to collect my thoughts enough so that I could feel more normal and relaxed shortly before crawling into bed.
I realize that I've written some contradictory statements and would like clarify why I've come to my most recent conclusion around earning a living through my spiritual endeavors. A month or so back I was hoping to just offer my services "free" of charge. Sounded good but a nagging feeling kept jabbing me in the side and a voice kept whispering to me that I had to work more closely with Spirit regarding this matter and so I did. This past weekend Spirit led me to understand and acknowledge that my spiritual endeavors are an acceptable way of becoming self-reliant and is in fact encouraged by Spirit. My spiritual works are a combination of services-Coaching, Tarot, and Chakra work that are likely to have a dramatic and positive impact and effect on many people's lives and I have a roll to fulfill in these possibilities.
Spirit Is and today's Tarot Energy is “Youth of Cups: Youthful emotions. Daydreaming. Shyness.”
What a high energy, youthful kind of day. Let's all hearken back to our teen years and capture some of that rebellious energy that although might have gotten us in trouble back then is now likely to help us stay in shape, stay youthful and stay fit. Or if you are of a younger generation relish your youthful years and harness that rebellious energy and steer it toward having a good time while doing good deeds. Or let us all be charmingly shy and golden.
