The 'Ten of Chalices' and Being Joy and Happiness For Others

Saturday, December 19, 2015.  Another early morning, earlier also in the fact that I awoke somewhere between 2:30 and 3am and tossed and turned for a bit before awaking again around ten to six.  I slipped out of bed knowing full well that I was done with sleep and would fall back into a sound sleep at all.

Last night on my way home I was finally able to pick up my parcel at my local yet not so local or close UPS Access Point.  After relaxing for a spell and before dinner I open up my two parcels both from Amazon however shipped via two different companies--UPS and Canada Post.  My other parcel arrived yesterday.  So I unpacked my new book which I must set out and read, "The Old Magic of Christmas" by Linda Raedisch and "The Son Tarot" by Christopher Butler.  With a quick browse of each I know I going to enjoy delving into each them in greater detail over the coming days.

Hhhmmm...I have an idea...for now I'll keep it under wraps but what a great idea (for me at least) it is.

Spirit Is and today's Pagan Tarot Energy is the "Ten of Chalices: In this happy scene, our Witch, her young man, her grandmother, her daughter, the priest and priestess who initiated her, and her dear friends are gathered in a formal toast of thanksgiving.  Her friends wear special coloured robes representing the elements (yellow for air, red for fire, green for earth, and blue for water).  A rainbow overhead, puppies, kittens, babies, and flowers add to a scene that couldn't be happier.  If your life isn't fulfilled with puppies and flowers, if you're not surrounded by the people who matter most to you, plan a party and invite them over.  If you don't have a particular event to celebrate, celebrate the general abundance and beauty of life and each other.  By telling others how special they are to you, you'll open the door for your own happiness.  Everyone needs a love fest once in a while.  Make it happen."

Today is about spreading joy amongst family, friends, loved ones and even people you pass by on the street.  Set about this day with this in mind--greet everyone you meet or cross paths with a smile and your spirit...let your spirit glow with love and gratitude that overflows your heart and pours forth for everyone to see.

Be joyous and happy today.  Put the phone down or away and focus on the people around you.  Let them be the center of your attention.  Make them feel loved and as special as they are, for we are all unique individuals and deserve to be treated as such.  Extend your love and warmth and feel come back to stronger than what you sent out.
