Memories of any dreams I had are being elusive. I don't have any recollection of what the subject matter of any dream may have been...nothing, absolutely nothing comes to mind. However, having said that I awoke happy but was not happy about having to head out to the job. Happiness that is coming from my inner self, happiness driven by the knowledge, wisdom, and belief that I've had bestowed upon the gifts of being a Spiritual Guidance Counsellor and Tarot Card Reader and these will be front and centre as 2017 gets into full swing, no room for a job as this spiritual career I've been given is in full bloom.
Spirit Is and today's Tarot Energy is and I am “XVI Revelation: While it is usually best to tell the truth about yourself to those who are close to you, it can be a painful experience. A necessary destruction of the status quo. Having to tell someone an unwelcome truth. A new idea which upsets others.”
Being totally honest and true to ourselves can bring us freedom, relief, a clean slate but may be upsetting and disheartening to others. It'd be good to find a way to make it more uplifting, more palatable if at all possible. But these things sometimes just have to be said, there is no way around, no need to beat around the bush either. But if spoken from the depths of our being, from our spirit to theirs and with much love then perhaps the fallout can be mitigated or lessened to a great degree.

Monday, June 6, 2016. I just noticed that I had the dates wrong for the past few entries. Oops! I guess I've been a bit busy or absent-minded. Well, the weekend was full of activity and I'm often writing and talking at the same time so I'm not surprised.
Slept rather or so I thought but on the drive back to the office I was struggling to fend off sleep and caught myself closing my eyes several times. I remember having very active dreams this weekend though and last night was no different. Can't quite remember what any dreams were about last night but I do remember that they involved small kitchen appliances possibly, reconnecting with a friend and travelling.
Today's Tarot Energy is “Sage of Swords: Making a mature, informed decision. Being too judgemental. Mediating a dispute.”
The “Sage of Swords" is guiding us into "Making a mature, informed decision."
This might be off topic here however, I just wanted to put it out there that I've lost all sense of worry, dread or fear. And now that I've written it done I understand why. This is to allow me to look at a situation without emotions getting in the way and then making an emotionally detached decision about what's at hand.
Take Serenity for example. Her "Check Engine" light is on but I'm not worried. I have to get her repaired, end of story. No need to fret about it. It has to be done. It's as simple as that. Related to this is my bank account. I'm no longer worried or constantly fretting about the money I have. I have what I have and must do my best to make my funds work for me. Decisions were made now I must get on with it.
My job is no longer a cause of anxiety for me. I'll work there while at the same time focusing more of my energy on what I'm passionate about--Spirit, Nature, Tarot, and the Magic of the Universe, the universal energy that connects us all.
I've surrendered to Spirit, releasing all of my angst, worry, fears, anger and all that ails me. My life is not simply my own, my life is universal as are all of ours. Our lives are universal and we are all connected and what I do matters, and should matter to you as your lives matter to me.
Decisions made for the rights reasons are the right decisions.

Thursday, March 10, 2016. Battling a cold is never a fun experience but I'm doing my best to remain upbeat and on top of my game.
Today's visiting Pagan Tarot Energy is "VIII Strength -The kind of strength this card speaks of is less about toughness, less about force or power, and more about patience, endurance, surviving adversity, and finding inner peace. We must learn to trust the process, we must now begin to thrive, not merely survive."
This really stands out for me today: "we must now begin to thrive, not merely survive" and I guess that is why "VIII Strength" is all "about patience, endurance, surviving adversity, and finding inner peace." This is how we begin to thrive and blossom in our lives fulfilling our deepest desires and most cherished dreams and goals. Many obstacles that we come across in life are of our own doing and often times a result of losing focus on our goals by allowing and giving time and energy to distractions that should and need to be quickly worked through or swept aside.
"Inner peace" gives us strength as it connects us with the universal consciousness of which we are all a part and in so connecting we have access to and can harness the power and unlimited potential of the universe. It's within us, we just have to recognize it and unleash it in our lives.

Sunday, February 28, 2016. So much of what we strive for and chase outside of ourselves is latent, unused potential hidden in the depths of our beings. If only more of us learned how to tap into this knowledge, wisdom, and power...what a wonderful world this would be! Peace is not something we chase, it has to come from the very depths of our beings and fill every atom of our hearts, minds, bodies, and souls for it to take root, grow and blossom out in the world around us. Peace has to start somewhere and if it doesn't start with us as individuals and we continuously wait for someone else, we'll always be waiting and wondering where it is. Let peace rise up from within us and spread out as if on the wings of a snow white dove...
Today's Gay Tarot Energy is the “Sage of Wands: Wanting to change the world. Changing your environment by winning others over to your viewpoint. Critical acclaim. Politics.”
Leading by example, truly believing in what you stand for, what your opinions are, and living a principled life will catch people's attention and perk up their ears where they are willing to listen to what you have to say.
And change must start with us as individuals. If we live and breathe change when it's necessary and are willing to admit that we learn and adapt when we are mistaken or wrong will further strengthen our attraction to others and help them see us as real people and very much like them instead separate of above them. Which then gets me to the point that we must see ourselves as equals with and to others and not in any way allow thoughts of us being better than others get into our mindset. We are equals and stand with others!

Saturday, December 12, 2015. I made what was tasting like a wonderful dinner, Chicken Provençal (I combined two recipes, clicking on either chicken or provençal will take you to the recipes) however, I suffered a bout of heartburn and couldn't finish my meal...aaarrrggghhh. And the rest of the evening disappeared rather quickly and I didn't do much else but I slept well and slept in past 7:00am...unusual but very much appreciated.
I awoke in a fog though and forgot all that I planned to do this morning and literally moments after I awoke my partner awoke so my usual silent morning routine went out the window and so without further ado, today's Tarot Energy fell away from the deck during shuffling, is the “6 of Cups: Happy Birthday. Fond memories. A gift given in friendship or love.”
Friendship, companionship, unconditional love and support, warmth, home, shelter, and a life shared are the energies of the day. It's a day to appreciate all those seemingly insignificant gifts and blessings we receive on a daily basis from our family, friends, and loved ones. Do your best to show your appreciation for what you have today.
