Sunday, August 17th, 2014. We ran a few errands in preparation for the in-laws’ visit this coming week. We rested for a bit before taking a stroll through New West Pride’s Community Street Festival, grabbing a coffee, running another errand before coming back home. As evening approached and we contemplated dinner our plans started to gear up for an impending changed. My partners nieces are already in town with their mother and one of them had some free time last night so we again headed downtown to meet up with her. We walked around, sat at English Bay watching the sunset before having a light dinner at Raincity Grill (good food but a bit pricey) and dessert at True Confections (great desserts but too sweet for me to eat all at once...doggy bag please!). We then walked the niece back to where she was staying before returning home ourselves.

Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “7 of Coins: Chores. Resting after a job well done. Contemplating life's cycles and changes. Planning your next move. Clearing out what's unnecessary in your life to make way for something new.”
The “7 of Coins” asks us to take stock of our progress by taking a step back and seeing the larger picture. We likely have achieved more than we think, may need to tweak things here and there to make slight improvements and should also not be shy to get rid of things that no longer fulfil their purpose in our lives so we can welcome change into our lives.
