The 6 of Cups and the 4 of Swords

Wednesday, August  27th, 2014.  We hit the beach after work yesterday.  An hour’s drive later, we were sitting comfortably on Wreck Beach, having taking a quick jaunt into the cold water.  We tried the water again a little later but it was still cold and not more than a couple of people were actually in the water at this time.
The last of our house guests left yesterday morning so we have our place to ourselves once again after a week of hosting, outings, and other activities.  It’s nice to see family however it’s also nice to have our own space all to ourselves.  Would be nice to have a larger space however, it’d be too big for us to warrant the expense of owning such a home.  Besides, I want to simplify and downsize my own things so everything I own can be fit into a van conversion or camper van fitted with perhaps a trailer hitch storage pod.  I’ve learned a valuable lesson and I will be parting with my Class C RV quite soon I think.

I had a good night’s sleep and a productive day today.  Work is humming along quite nicely and I’m more comfortable with working at it while I work toward financial independence through paying my dues as well as my debts.  Debts paid in full and a growing bank account suit me just fine.

Since we awoke quite early yesterday, I took my Tarot Cards with me and worked with them during my lunch hour.  Not a bad time to do it and the experience was good as always but I much prefer the morning hours for this activity.

Spirit Is and Tuesday’s visiting Tarot Card is the “6 of Cups: Happy Birthday.  Fond memories.  A gift given in friendship or love.”

I’m happy with where I am in life and sure I could have done things differently however I had a lot of great times and experiences and have not much to regret.  Lessons learned and a new approach to life never hurt.  I’m quite and know what I want to do and where I want to go so all is good.

Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “4 of Swords: Napping Between Rehearsals.  Resting and gathering strength for the next phase.  A vacation or “time out”.”

A quick break to settle down after a week of visitors and non-stop activity and back at it I will be.  I need to go through my new website more thoroughly and see what I might want to change, then submit those changes along with a proposed training session on how to work on the website myself and then it will be launched.  I will also do my best to submit a business name to the provincial government for review and approval so I feel more legitimate with what I’m doing.

So today should be about total relaxation before some hard work and fun begin to move us all into the futures of our dreams.
