Blessed Samhain! Happy Halloween!
What a blessed day this is. Have no fear of the Spirits that will abound this day. Greet each and every one of them with a smile and a blessing of love, joy, and goodwill.
I will have candles and incense burning all day as I celebrate this, the witch’s New Year. The god is passing over only to be reborn at Yule. Blessed Be.
Yesterday as I worked with Spirit throughout the day I came away filled with the knowledge that Spirit is using me to deliver messages of peace and unconditional love to everyone and all things I encounter, words may not be exchanged, it could merely be a look, a smile, a simple nod of the head. Thank You Spirit!
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Youth of Wands: Focusing attention on something. Reaching for a goal from a possibly unsteady foundation.”
Yes, I am doing this. I’m focusing attention on a possible new job, a new direction, well, only a slight detour, perhaps. A change of focus so I can actually firm up that foundation and provide myself with a steady place from which to pursue my dreams and goals. Dreams and goals that I’ve boiled down to one single item and that is that I simply want to drive my RV around North America with no destination in mind, no plan, or agenda, just simply drive where Spirit wishes me to go. The plan us under way in many aspects, things are firming up and solidifying and I am filled with a inner love, peace and calm, deeper than I’ve ever experienced before.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The 2 of Wands and Being a Conduit for the Divine
All Hallows Eve . Spirit is all about us and the veil between the two worlds of physical and spirit is being lifted so the two can be one. I have no fear for I am a spiritual being myself, simply encompassing a physical body. Thank You Spirit.
The last several days have brought clearly to mind that my ultimate dream is to simply drive and roam the roads of North America in my RV. This is my dream simply put. Living on the road. Following no agenda, no plan, simply being one with the world and living life. This is not about being lazy or not wanting to hold down a job, it’s simply about following that strong urge to be moving all of the time. It’s not about escaping or being a hermit, or shunning society, family, or friends, it’s about being true t my spirit. I need to be on the move, much like the wind, the flow of a creek or river, constant motion and constant movement. I need to be on the go, celebrating nature, celebrating the world, celebrating the life we are so blessed to be living. It’s about that inner calm that fills my heart, the purity of love, of joy, of spirit.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “2 of Wands: Confidence. Being the king of your castle. Preparing the ground for a new venture. The dawn of an adventure.”
I’ve had a couple of good job interviews this week with a second interview at one of them on Friday. I already had two the same day at the other. I feel okay with applying for and accepting either of these jobs however I have not lost focus of my dream of being and living life on the road as I wrote above. As I was meditating for the past fifteen or twenty minutes and simply being with Spirit, my mind was filled with scenes of driving down the road, the many roads that criss-cross this continent and through these images I simplified what my ultimate dream and goal is and that is simply to roam the roads of North America with no agenda in mind, no destination to drive toward, just simply driving and being.
The two of wands is about divine power becoming earthbound and using us a conduit to make things happen and all I can say is that what I want to make happen is to bring peace about this world and one way I can do that is by living a purpose driven life—a life I feel is about me encountering as many people as I can so Spirit can fill and touch them all.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The Ace of Swords and Peace
Today is the Iroquois Feast of the Dead:
“The most important of all Huron festivals was the Feast of the Dead. This feast was held every ten years and it usually involved several satellite communities. This feast was a celebration of the dead and a social gathering. The community's dead, who had not had a violent demise, were removed from their individual graves and reburied in a common burial plot. During the ten-day feast, eight days were spent in careful preparation of the corpses, whose flesh was stripped and then burned. The souls of the dead were now free to travel west to the land of the souls. This land was similar to the villages of the deceased, but complete with dead members of the family. Here all members of a family lived together as they had when they were alive. During the feast, presents brought by family mourners were collected and redistributed by a village headman. For the Huron, the Feast of the Dead was an act of reverence that also promoted good will among neighbouring communities.” http://www.ucalgary.ca/applied_history/tutor/firstnations/iroq.html
Yesterday I had a job interview in the morning and as I drove to the location of the interview and where I may end up working if I interviewed well I was filled with a bit of unease and uncertainty about whether or not I wanted to work at such a place and in such a location. However, when I walked into the interview and met the three people there my unease and uncertainty was replaced by a sense of calm, comfort, and ease. The interview felt like more of chat amongst friends than an attempt to sell myself and my talents to a potential employer. I walked out of there wanting the job. Thank You Spirit.
As I drove I contemplated the rest of the day and decided to return home to plan and schedule another interview as I was shortlisted for an interview with another company. I did that and then felt like I needed to visit a newly discovered store so I ate lunch and headed out.
Reflections Books is easy to find and there is ample free parking available. As soon as I parked and stepped out of the car I noticed the great energy emanating from the store. As I walked up to the store I took notice of the many free magazines available on an outside rack to pick up when I left the store. Inside the store one can find many great items for all matters of spirit and energy—cards, crystals, tarot decks, candles, books, jewelry, and more. I picked up some incense and a Chakra Stone Kit as I browsed the store taking in the great energy that this store has to offer. I took notice of a bumper sticker—“Peace Begins With Me” and adopted that as I drove home in the sometimes nerve-wracking traffic—some driver’s really incense me. I left the store, picked up my free magazines and made my way back home.
At home, I completed house chores and worked on my cards—sensing that the magazines I picked up had many messages for me to read and take to heart. So as I relaxed for parts of the remainder of the afternoon and then in the evening after dinner I flipped through and read articles from them. Peace, calm, forgiveness, love, changing the world beginning with ourselves. Great messages that changed me. And I slept with the bag of chakra stones and crystal under my pillow and had a wondrous night of sleep and swirling colours and energies.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Ace of Swords: An idea. Starting to develop a plan or strategy.”
This card is reflective on yesterday’s precious moments of discovery and new energies and spirits about me. A sense of knowing, a sense of purpose, a sense of continuing on this amazing path of life, of purpose, of learning and discovery. Looking at the joys of life more than it’s burdens, celebrating my accomplishments rather than counting up my failures. Of chasing and looking forward to my dreams and goals with a new zest and excitement rather than fearing they will never happen.
I’m celebrating my life more than I’m regretting the things I’ve not done or may never do. I’m alive. I’m well. I’m in the here and now.
I find it amazing that a simple discovery of and a visit to a bookstore I never heard of or knew about until Sunday evening and visited yesterday can have such a profound effect on my life, yet it has and I’m celebrating this.
Oh and something I read in “Issues for EMPOWERMENT”:
Peace does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble or hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart.”—Unknown
Peace Begins with ME.
Thank You Spirit.

Youth of Coins and Living a Healthy Life All Around
Tarot cards figured prominently yesterday. Tarot Cards consumed my thoughts for most of the day. I’m also trying to get into the mindset and accept my spiritual self and that I have and am a spiritual body that encompasses a physical one and not the other way around. Some time I ago I also read in a magazine, I believe, that we should move beyond our everyday senses and see and communicate with the world and everything on it with spirit and energy—moving beyond sight and sound and communicate at a much deeper and more meaningful level. This is what I am aiming to do.
I pay more respect to my life, what I have, and all the blessings that come my way. I even pay more attention to my altar and will over the next day or two clean and re-organize it as it sometimes becomes a catch-all for my wallet, keys, change, rings, and bracelets. I want it to be an altar only.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Youth of Coins: Focusing on the physical. Beginning a regimen. Matters relating to nutrition and exercise.”
I have been much more focused the last month and a half on eating well and exercising regularly. In addition, to developing a healthy spirit, I need to keep my mind and body healthy as well and this can be accomplished with good food, exercise, and using my mind, hence my continuing studies of Wicca and continuing hobby of making handcrafted greeting cards. My healthy, mind, body, and spirit leads to better living and a more joyful and loving outlook on life.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The Ace of Wands and Unleashing My Creative Potential
Over the last several days I’ve felt like I’m being pulled in many different directions. I feel like I’m simply going around in circles and not fulfilling my life’s purpose. Getting a job is something that appears to be the right thing to do but I’m also sensing it to be a barrier of sorts, a wall that is blocking something in my life but I’m sure what it’s about. I’m spinning my wheels and not getting much traction in my life these last few days. I get a sense I’m heading in the wrong direction and something is telling to turn around.
Spirit is strong these days and as I look back over this past week I’m seeing a picture developing. Over this past week I’ve come across several “psychic” businesses, a newspaper called “The Source, Forum of Diversity” with a front page article on Wicca and the celebration of Samhain, and I’ve been seeing images of Tarot Cards everywhere. Then there is today’s visiting Tarot Card.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Ace of Wands: A creative inspiration. The beginning of a new project or venture.”
A card of creativity, a card of confident and potent energy asking me to be daring and brave, to take a risk, to be a source of inspiration and invention, to think outside the box and to trust my own creative potential. This card is telling me what I already know—I need to focus on and develop my spirituality and creativity and unleash my inner creativity spirit. Today is a day I need to open all of my senses so I can just how I will accomplish this and be my own source of financial income.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

VII The Chariot and Taking Responsibility for My Life
Another fantastic day yesterday—filled with a lot of activity. I received a call—a telephone interview that turned into a call to go in for an interview on Monday; a bit of shopping to complete a household repair as well as more additions to my ever growing mountain of crafts supplies; then a hunt for shoes, I didn’t like anything I saw and finally, a successful purchase of a pair of pants.
I then came, home, painted a small part of a wall where I did a minor repair, washed up the mornings dishes, set, up a candle and some incense ,and got those going and then I washed up the morning dishes before enjoying more of the candle and incense as well as working on my handcrafted cards—a very enjoyable day and I worked on my cards well into the evening. I love losing track of time by a pleasurable pursuit such as my crafts—very cool indeed!
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is “VII The Chariot: Among the highs and lows of life, make sure you enjoy the highs. At the top of one’s. Seizing an opportunity. Having everything under control (barely).”
This is about having controls over one’s life and living in the present moment each and every day, bring aware and enjoying life as best we can by living each day to its fullest potential. We need to keep our emotions in check, curb our impulses, trust ourselves, our intuition and strive to live our lives to the best of our abilities. We need to take personal responsibility for our lives instead of looking outside of ourselves to find strength, courage, motivation, passion, or what have you in order to live.
My life is a reflection of my choices, decisions and reactions to life itself, to family, friends, jobs, accidents, vacations, hobbies, etc. My life is my responsibility and I need to have the strength and courage to live it for myself.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The 9 of Wands and Carry On Despite Setbacks
Yesterday was a good day, very strong spiritually, even spiritually awakening. Love, joy, and compassion fill my heart, mind, body, and spirit. A new sense of spirit is about, a drive to learn more and totally immerse myself into being a witch, a full-time witch.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “9 of Wands: Don’t mess with me. Defensiveness. Putting up barriers to avoid intimacy.”
This is also about strength of character and will, stamina and inner drive and knowing that these along with perseverance and patience will win the day so-to-speak. We may be battered and bruised in many ways yet we persevere. We are stronger for it and perhaps even learned a lesson or two. We don’t give up and we are never bitter. We never give into hate. Our hearts are always filled with love, joy, and compassion.
It’s not necessarily about winning but surviving to live another day, to grow and nourish our spirits and those of others, it’s about learning to fight without fighting through words and positive actions, through persuasion, and reminders, through turning the other cheek, through standing up with dignity and grace knowing that spirit through love and compassion will prevail.
Thank You Spirit.

The Man of Coins and Care and Persistence
A productive day yesterday in terms of crafting, learning, and spirit. I had a bit of what I’ll call crafter’s block and could not into designing cards with some new materials I had. Since then, a light bulb has gone off over my head and I know what to do. Learning has come from reading Witches and Pagans magazine and in particular an article about Gede Parma. And spirit involves learning that I need to do more than go through the motions and need to instead delve head first and wholeheartedly into a life of spirit.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Man of Coins: Responsible and hard-working. Reliable. Dependable.”
I need to adopt an attitude of care and persistence, my character has to be my character whether I’m alone or in a social setting. I must be true to and of myself, be the real me and never shy away from me wherever I am and whoever I’m with. I’m spirit and always will be spirit.
Thank You Spirit.

The 10 of Wands and Dealing with Burdens
Yesterday became a heavy emotion day and the evening was weighed down by a strong negativity that is still sitting here today. I’m not sure where it came from but I am already in the process of purifying this space, myself included.
The air is light, the mood positive, the energy clean and pure, full of love, joy, and compassion, just the way I like it. Spirit is strong and the Goddess and God lifting me into their grace, filling me with their loving energy.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “10 of Wands: The Burden. Responsibilities. Obligations. Over-committing yourself. Realizing that burdens are a part of life.”
Although I am person of power and fortune as we all are I suffer burdens and setbacks, difficulties in life that seemingly come out of nowhere. The best way to handle these situations is to step back and compose yourself before taking another look at them; take them as a learning experience, ones that will build character, enhance the courage and ability to deal with them, work through them and transcend them. Easier said than done in many cases but we must always try our best, do our best and deal with them honestly, with heads held high and in some cases asking for help from others to get through them. And get through them, we will.
Thank You Spirit.

The 9 of Cups and Serendipity
I had a decent day yesterday and accomplished quite a bit of finishing work on the many stamped images I created over the past couple of weeks. I had few distractions yesterday as well so I didn’t get as much done as I had hoped but thoroughly enjoyed the work I did accomplish.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “9 of Cups: Serendipity. Satisfaction. Everything is going well.”
I do a feel a little of serendipity however at the same time I’m wondering about my employment prospects. I’ve sent out many applications over the past couple of weeks and have not heard anything back from one single prospective employer. I may have to seek professional help.
Oh, and while shuffling the deck this morning, “III The Protector” fell away from the deck a couple of times so I’m taking some guidance from this card today as well—nurturing a positive environment that will also help me to nurture myself.
But overall, I do feel good, calm, relaxed, and quite worry and anxiety free all things considered. Maybe with the “9 of Cups” also being a “wish fulfilled” card I will realize my dream of RVing and working on the road.
Thank You Spirit.

But overall, I do feel good, calm, relaxed, and quite worry and anxiety free all things considered. Maybe with the “9 of Cups” also being a “wish fulfilled” card I will realize my dream of RVing and working on the road.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The 4 of Wands and a Surprise Perhaps
We spent most our day yesterday with friends as we accepted an invitation to visit the Vancouver Home and Design Show with them. We wandered around the show for awhile but took a break after a few hours in as it was not all that interesting to us especially with so many non-home design exhibitors being present. We finished up at the show around 5pm, I think and headed out to find a place for dinner. We ended up at Patrons, a nice Mexican place on Robson Street. Dinner was good and then it was off for a walk around Vancouver, Robson, Granville, and Davie Streets in particular then dessert at Denny’s before coming home.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “4 of wands: Setting the Stage. Opening night finally arrives. A venture has been established. Celebrating initial achievements.”
I’m not too excited about today and I have not felt like I have made any kind of initial achievement or need to make a run at freedom. However, I take a nice surprise or a bit of spontaneity if that’s what also could be in store for today. I’ll visit the gym and make cards and maybe apply for a job or two but nothing else too exciting as far as I can tell. I’ll enjoy my day one moment at a time.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The 3 of Swords and Looking Out for Trouble Ahead
We had a decent day yesterday and this weekend is actually a buzz of social activity for us. A late night dinner with a friend on Friday, breakfast with friends yesterday, dinner last night with friends and an outing and dinner with more friends today. And I caught up on some much needed sleep by sleeping in this morning. Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “3 of Swords: The Wreckage. Feeling heavy-hearted after an emotional storm. Feeling hurt or betrayed.”
A warning sign that trouble could be lurking. I’ll keep my eyes open, my thoughts light and loving, tongue firmly in cheek, and be as well behaved as I can. I’ll do my best to be compassionate, open-minded, and respectful and be more aware of and keeping an ear open to my inner voice that may be trying to tell me something.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

VII The Chariot and Seizing Success
I had an okay day yesterday. Came to some realizations and had several a-ha moments where a clear mind and clear thoughts brought home some truths that need to be dealt with. Nothing bad, mind you but stuff that needs to be dealt with for sure. Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is “VII The Chariot: Among the highs and lows of life, make sure you enjoy the highs. At the top of one’s. Seizing an opportunity. Having everything under control (barely).”
I have success within reach I just need the willpower, confidence, and self-control to grasp and take hold of it and make it my own. I’ve been given a great chance to show off my skills and talents and I need to seize this opportunity and make the most of it. We have a fairly active and social weekend so come Monday I will be focused on making cards and nothing else. And even this weekend where there is a spare moment, I will take it and do something with my cards. And as I make cards I will practice my ventriloquism and strengthen this talent as well.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

XV Self-Hatred and Powerful Lessons to Be Learned
I had a decent day yesterday even learned some ugly truths about myself, not so ugly but truths that are affecting my success in life. Bad habits that need to be sidelined and overcome with a new sense of spirit and of living.
First off the list yesterday was a dentist appointment-a few fillings and an hour and a half later I was on my for a quick visit to my RV. And I must say, my RV is my home. I really do love my RV and all her blemishes. I then returned home with sinuses that were not agreeing too well with the freezing my dentist gave me so I spent some time dealing with sinus issues as I tried to work on my cards and a little progress on that front was made, more of it happening later in the evening than during the day surprisingly.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is a repeat visitor from yesterday, XV Self-Hatred: The trap to avoid for all minorities. Unconsciously accepting societal norms. Low self-esteem. "
I must say that this card is driving home some powerful lessons and I’m seeing myself in a whole new light these past couple of days. I do lack self-esteem and I allow myself to get into a bit of darkness and negativity on occasion and it then often gets the better of me. Wallowing in such conditions is not healthy and I know it.
So today is a day of spirit and spiritual celebration. I am spirit. Love, compassion, and joy rule the day. I’ve started my day with Spirit, I’ve worked on a handcrafted card and I’m getting ready to go to the gym. Exercising mind, body, and Spirit is the best way to a happy and healthy life all around.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

XV Self-Hatred and Awaking to the Truth
I awoke this morning and spiritually prepared for my day and then was thrown a curve ball when I fired up the computer and it started up in limbo mode. So I had to back up the computer and then restore to where it was when I shut it down last night. Luckily, I had a dentist appointment and did not have to wait around for the few hours it took the back-up to complete.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is “XV Self-Hatred: The trap to avoid for all minorities. Unconsciously accepting societal norms. Low self-esteem. "
This card coincided with my total surrender to spirit and awaking that allowed me to see the truth about my life and where I’m headed. I have much going for me but a few bad habits or to break free of one of which is a high degree of self-doubt and lack of respect for myself, who I am, and what I have to offer. I’m a decent person and sure I have a few blemishes here and there that I need to improve and overcome but more than not, I am positive, charming, hard-working, responsible, honest, loyal, and able to get the job done.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The Ace of Cups and Letting Love Shine Through
We had an evening of good conversation and great food with friends last night and an enjoyable evening it was. Thank You Spirit.
I awoke with a bit of tiredness however a strong and vibrant spirit carried me from the bed and out to greet the beautiful day that was there to welcome me with much grandeur and love. Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Ace of Cups: A gift of love. The beginning of a love affair, friendship, or partnership.”
Love is the great saviour of life, of society, of this world. Love and Spirit should be our guiding energy and force, should permeate every atom of our being, should be the guiding light of our spirits, courage, character, and strength. We are and always should be the essence of love.
Thank You Spirit.

The Youth of Wands and Exploring Passions and Opportunities
We had a great day of walking along the trails of Alice Lake Provincial Park. We spent a lot of time stopping and talking as we enjoyed the beautiful vistas that surrounded us. Stump Lake was our first stop and we slowly meandered our way along to Fawn Lake, Edith Lake, the Cheakye River, and then of course, Alice Lake. Beautiful, wonderful, serene, peaceful, nature in her finest glory, as always.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Youth of Wands: Focusing attention on something. Reaching for a goal from a possibly unsteady foundation.”
Opportunities are floating about that offer chances to embrace my passions, creativity, and show off my talents. With a smattering of courage and a bit of charm maybe my passions, creativity and talents will open doors I never imagined could be opened for me and that I will walk through and enjoy the fruits of my labour.
Thank You Spirit.

VII The Chariot and Learning Something of Value
Another fairly quiet day yesterday, the only real activity was a trip to the grocery for a bit of food. Other than that we stayed indoors all day yesterday. I did my best to work on cards, read, study and be however my partner was getting bored and antsy.
Some thoughts—Life is surely not a contest and the society we live in is not ideal however we need to make the best of our situations and circumstances and do our small parts to make this a better world for ourselves and those around us. What we view as an insignificant action could have the greatest impact so let us all take those baby steps in trying to create a better world and move a mountain.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is “VII The Chariot: Among the highs and lows of life, make sure you enjoy the highs. At the top of one’s. Seizing an opportunity. Having everything under control (barely).”
Self-control will provide me with the strength, determination, and assertiveness needed to make success a part of life. I am success by being aware, adaptable, diplomatic, objective, knowledgeable, and thankful. I appreciate all that I am and all that I have in life in what I’ve learned and accomplished, the family and friends I have and all that I have seen and done in the world and all that still lies ahead.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

V The Priest and Embracing Spirit
Spirit is a wonderful gift and presence to have in one’s life. Spirit is a wonderful life to live. Spirit is life.
I’m not sure what prompted me to write the three sentences above but they came out without any thought or pause as to what I was writing, I simply tapped away on the keys. These past several days especially have been a great time of spirituality for me as I’m not only focused on my crafts I am also focused on Spirit and Spirit’s presence in my life, in all that I do, and all that I am.
Yesterday was a day of crafting, of being lazy, being spiritual, being connected with Spirit, being connected with life, and being totally absent from everything. A sunny, lazy Saturday, morning, afternoon, and evening. I did work on my crafts and did eventually get immersed into my crafting zone so my day had progress about it. The best way to get into my crafting zone is to simply focus on the cards and let myself go with nary a thought about what I’m doing or the colours I think I need to choose to paint a stamped image or the colour of paper to mount it on. It’ll come to be with ease if I simply let go.
The same goes for Spirit, simply let go and Spirit does all the rest, simply be and let Spirit reign supreme. I embrace Spirit and all energy that comes my way and embrace the experience as it is, a gift of presence, of knowledge, of wisdom, of life, of simply being.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is “V The Priest: The best way to help others is to help them make their own decisions. Wisdom. Advice. A ceremony or ritual.”
A balance of conforming an non-conforming, of following the rules and going your own way, embracing the group and yet knowing when to leave, leaning on another’s shoulder in times of need and support and of spreading your wings and soaring high above and finding your own way. Of trust.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The 10 of Cups and Find Harmony
I had a great day yesterday and found my cardmaking zone and was working on and playing around with handcrafted greeting card designs until about 10pm last night. It was great. This is the time where I enter the realm of timelessness and time ceases to exist for me. I’m simply focused on making cards and nothing else exists around me, it’s just me and my cards. It’s a fantastic experience and feeling to have. I’ll see how it works today.
The evening also included dinner and about 60 minutes of television along with a bit of reading and relaxation before hitting the bed and quickly drifting off to sleep.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “10 of Cups: The Ideal. Your secret dreams. Attainment. Unrealistic, wishful thinking.”
I’ve got to find harmony within myself in order to experience deep joy and peace in my life as well as to realize my secret dreams and goals. I’m overcoming much negativity, regret, and guilt, but still have more room to grow and open up to and let in the love, peace, and joy that surrounds me.
Inner harmony brings joy and peace to our lives and shows us that we are surrounded by many blessings and gifts that we may have not have seen before but must always be thankful for.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

0 The Fool and the Magic of Life
We spent a good part of the day out of New Westminster to avoid the acrid smoke that permeated the air and infiltrated our condo building. A half block of historical buildings and a dozen or businesses burned to the ground yesterday and has left a gaping hole in the middle of New Westminster’s downtown and historic district. Streets for several blocks around the fire are littered with remnants of charred wood and other fire debris. And my eyes and throat are still feeling the lingering effects of the smoke that swirled around us for the good part of the morning before we left to do some urban hiking in downtown Vancouver.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is “0 The Fool: Accepting and exploring one's sexual identity is a journey of self-discovery. Beginning a new and exciting venture. Going beyond the limits of social convention. A nonconformist."
I believe in the mystery and magic of life. I also have faith in life and the beauty of each and every one our lives, all 7 billion of us. I believe because I know and I know because I have an open heart, mind, body, and spirit. I experience the world we live in with all of my senses so miracles, magic, the paranormal and the supernatural are not unusual and beyond human life and experience rather they are an everyday occurrence and dare I say integral part of it. Each second/moment/day of our lives has unlimited potentials and it is up to each one of us to be aware of the specialness of each second of our lives and what we can experience in each of them if we live and experience our lives with all of our senses and see the world as it really is and always has been—special!
Move beyond belief and come to know life, you won’t regret it!
Thank You Spirit.

XVIII The Moon and Being Inspired and Enchanted
Yesterday was another very productive day for me and my crafts. I assembled a card or two and stamped and stamped even more images to get my Christmas Cards well on their way.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is “XVIII The Moon: Sexuality pulls us into a different, non-rational world which is sometimes frightening, always creative. A sense of mystery. Creative ideas which gestate in the subconscious. Sexuality or sex".
The Moon is never frightening for me however sometimes with the Moon there can be an air of confusion that surrounds me. However whenever this is the case I do my best to let the light and presence of the Moon to enchant and inspire me and my creativity. And it works!
Thank You Spirit.

The 9 of Cups and Cardmaking Heaven
I had a great run of stamping and cutting images for a large number of handcrafted Christmas Cards last night. From about 8 until 10pm I was having a wonderfully delightful time working on my crafts. I was filled with great spiritual energy.
Earlier in the day I messed about with my cards and completed one but my mind was muddled and filled with confusion. I was in an aimless mood for most of the day but an after dinner shower cleansed me and washed away all of that confusion and left with an urge to make cards so that is what I did for the evening even going so far as to write down that making cards is my new career path-I love it!
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the 9 of Cups: “Serendipity. Satisfaction. Everything is going well.
I must absolutely agree with the card. Everything indeed is going well. Cards are on my mind; specifically making my very own handcrafted greeting cards for me and for those interested enough to buy. Interested?
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The 10 of Wands and Appreciating Life to Overcome Burdens
I do believe that the job market is very competitive these days and employers are being very selective in their hiring processes. Resumes are gone over with a finely toothed comb and only the very best are called in for interviews. I am applying smartly for positions that I think I am suited for and can handle over the next several years however I may have to move my goal posts and apply for everything and anything as the month progresses. And then I may have to create my own job through a variety of my talents and skills...
Thank You Spirit.
Yesterday was a submit my resume and only make one handcrafted greeting card kind of day with a quick jaunt to the gym and another to the bank and grocery store. Oh, I did make Drunken Mexican Bean with Cilantro and Bacon dish for dinner. It was good but I’ll make adjustments as I picked up a Mexican Hot Pepper instead of a jalapeno and I think it affected the flavour of the dish. Then I piddled through the evening doing a whole lot of nothing.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “10 of Wands: The Burden. Responsibilities. Obligations. Overcommitting yourself. Realizing that burdens are a part of life.”
This card always throws me for a loop as the image never makes me feel like life is a burden. It is more like life is neither good nor bad and simply is. However, I understand that life is a challenge at times and I’m being challenged and put to the test right now. I’m being guided t think outside the box as well as to take stock of and realize the talents and skills I have and that I can use them to really succeed if I only put my mind and a little effort into it.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

I’m being guided t think outside the box as well as to take stock of and realize the talents and skills I have and that I can use them to really succeed if I only put my mind and a little effort into it.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The 5 of Swords and The World as My Self
We had a great time walking along Gold Creek to the lower falls out in Golden Ears Provincial Park. The hike is rated as easy, is 5.5 kilometres and takes around two hours to complete, round trip. We happened to go on the day when the Burmese Mountain Dog owners club met to do a walk so the trail was busy with both people and dogs. Hearing the rushing water of the creek as we walked the trail was wonderful as was our time spent along the banks where the creek slows and calm pools of water allow time for serenity and reflection as you take in the surroundings from the dusting of snow on the mountains or the fall colours that surround you. The roaring falls then fill your senses, the flow so great that mists of water dance around you as you find the best view.
After enjoying the creek, the falls, and the walk it was time to grab a late lunch and our choice for the day was Cielito Lindo in Langley, great Mexican food in a no fuss environment. Lunch was followed by a quick run to the grocery store before the hour long trip home where we relaxed the night away and enjoyed a great night’s sleep.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “5 of Swords: The Tennis Game. A game which gets out of hand. A pattern of always needing to win, or to lose.”
This is about looking beyond the self, where the self extends beyond us and to the world around us, to the world we live in. No winners or losers are necessary. Life is not a game or a competition, life is and always has been and should always be about love, compassion, and harmony.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

IX The Hermint and Finding Answers
Yesterday was a fairly quiet day. My partner cleaned up a little bit while I worked on creating cards. We then took things down to the car to deliver the remnants of the cleaning process to the various locations lucky enough to receive our unwanted possession—the Salvation Army and the Recycling Depot. I then continued to create cards and stamp more images throughout the day in between lunch, a walk along the quay, then dinner and an hour or so of television. I’m really trying to keep my focus on making cards and being humbly proud of the cards I’m making.
Thank You Spirit.
I’ve awoken early this morning full of worry and anxiety about not being employed or having any income coming in and still debts to pay. But I also came to the realization that I cannot sell myself short either and should be seeking employment to match my employment and education backgrounds as well as my skills and talents. I’d love to have a crafting studio somewhat open to the public and will put it out to the cosmos that this is my desire and let it percolate out in the cosmos while I seek alternate forms of employment. I know this though, my RV is a great little space for my crafts and my yet unmentioned hobby. Enough said.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is “IX The Hermit: To fully understand something, sometimes you must escape it. Gaining perspective. Solitude. Study.
The first thought that came to mind when I saw this card is that it is time for me to find answers about myself. I then looked for where the Moon is today and it is Scorpio and today being Sunday, the Sun also features prominently today. I have much to be thankful for with these occurrences. Psychic knowledge is powerful today as is Spirit, Strength and Protection. Psychic crises may arise today as well but armed with this knowledge should guide me as to how deal with and work my through whatever comes my way today.
Thank You Spirit.

The 8 of Swords and Untangling My Life
I did my best to keep my focus on making cards yesterday. Well, not actually making cards but stamping as many images as possible and I did a fairly decent job of it. I kept talking to myself, giving myself pep talks so I was focused on and careful with what I was doing. Later in the evening I actually set out to make a couple of cards as a couple of the stamped images were not working for me. However, once I built up a card with them I much more satisfied with the way they look. I just need to add an embellishment or two and maybe a “Merry Christmas” or “Season’s Greetings” and they will be perfect.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “8 of Swords: The Crowded Subway. Restriction. Being trapped by your own biases and prejudices. Feeling lonely in a crowd.
I, at times feel lost and confused, not sure which way to turn. I know and am thankful for the decent life I have but at times feel unsatisfied or not quite where I should be in life. I often feel like there is something missing or that I’m missing something, missing the point, that not quite at where I should be. This feeling is much stronger these days as I’m looking for work and sending out resumes but not hearing anything back—not a huge concern except I have debts to take care of and I cannot shirk my responsibilities to do so as I undertook this debt fully aware of what I was doing.
I’ll work through it though as I do have choices and the power to over these feelings and this situation. And one of the best ways to do so is with clarity of thought and purpose. I need a plan, I need to know what I want to do and accomplish!
How about a nice little crafting business? I can do this as I’m now a talented card maker. I’ve sold many a card and now have repeat customers so I must be doing something right!
I feel better already.
Thank You Spirit.

The Ace of Cups and a Deeper Connection to and with Life
So yesterday after picking up a couple of things that will make my stamping easier and to check for leaks in the RV I started stamping my heart out. It’s time consuming but very fun to do. More to come today after a quick workout at the gym, need to keep in shape in mind, body, and spirit.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Ace of Cups: A gift of love. The beginning of a love affair, friendship, or partnership.”
I’m connecting with myself and others on a much deeper level these days. I’m finding a deeper connection to and with life, nature, and Spirit. I’m hearing my inner voice like never before and am more in tune or attuned with and trusting of my intuition. I’m dispelling negativity from my life and going with the flow more than ever before. And the living in the present, present moment awareness is such a wonderful gift and how I can accomplish when I focus so much attention on this very second, this moment that comes and goes in a flash.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The 2 of Cups and Loving Communications
Today’s date is kind of sticking out for some reason—a date of significance, perhaps?
Yesterday we got a lot start yesterday however I did get a few things accomplished—picked up a new Ottlite Lamp and some more paper from Michael’s; designed a new handcrafted greeting card, made a pan of poppy seed squares, and really connected with Spirit.
The new Ott Lamp is wonderful. I absolutely love the comfortable light it emits and no more eye strain. And it was on sale, 40% off. The lamp is not shown on Michael's website so here it is from Amazon (currently unavailable). I used my coupon on a new stamp! The papers are needed for my colour selections for this year’s batch of Christmas Cards. The new card took some time to design as I had to figure out how to do it. I like the look but will do quick redesign of one feature of it. The poppy seed squares are for our breakfast. And connecting with Spirit was powerful, enriching, eye opening and energizing. Thank you Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “2 of Cups: The Dialogue. A balanced relationship. Being able to see things from the other’s perspective.”
I need to always keep in mind that all relationships are in need of mutual respect and open communication/dialogue. The best way to achieve this is to see the other person as if they are our own reflection in a mirror. How do we like to be communicated with? Harsh and angry words or with diplomacy, tact, love, and respect? Let us all learn to build our relationships on solid foundations of open minds and hearts, love, and respectful conversations. No more tit for tat or he or she started it.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The 3 of Coins and Learning to Be Proud Yet Humble
Yesterday seemed to be bit of an oddball kind of day. I set out to go to the gym and spend the rest of the day making cards but making cards was a brief exercise and I never made it to the gym. Instead I met up with a friend for coffee and to deliver a card she ordered, then the afternoon was pretty much over and I piddled around my craft table doing a whole heck of a lot of nothing. Before long, our dinner plans with another friend were canceled so we had dinner at home, luckily we had leftovers. Then another friend dropped by for a visit.
Today is another day and I’ve yet to sit down and work on my cards and I’m just getting to write this. Distractions are here for a reason and I’m simply going with the flow.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “3 of Coins: A Child’s Room. Creating a positive environment for someone. Work done for the pleasure of it.”
As much as this is true I also feel and read elsewhere that this is a card of planning and preparation and of using my talents and creativity to the best of my abilities. I can be prideful yet humble of my work. I need to go all the way and plan to use my talents and creativity in the best way possible and making handcrafted greeting cards is one very good way to do this. Handcrafted cards can be a good solid foundation to a craft business where I also dabble in beads, masks, loon knitting and even other paper crafts such as miniature albums, journals, and memory books.
Thank You Spirit.

The Sage of Cups and Being Full of Grace
I just starting to get worried and developing some anxiety about not having a job. My income is limited to non-existent and I need to earn my keep somehow. I’m focusing my time on two areas—looking for work and making cards. At least if I am productive enough with my cards I have a chance of selling them and earning a few dollars that way. And if I’m productive enough in my job search I should find some gainful employment I can live with.
Thank You Spirit.
Yesterday I also ran a few errands as my partner had a meeting some distance away and taking transit is far more time consuming than driving so we drove so I could cross off a few items from our grocery list. Once back home we got into our post-dinner clean-up routine, had lunch, went out for an afternoon coffee and then relaxed a little before dinner and a night of piddling around with our own respective ways of relaxing.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Sage of Cups: Emotional maturity. A good mediator or counselor.”
Today is a day where love, compassion, tolerance, compromise and diplomacy are in order. I need to be practical, calm, and use a lot of common sense today. No blaming, no right or wrong, just an attitude of grace, peace and goodwill.
Thank You Spirit.
