Sunday, May 8, 2016. Happy 75th Birthday Dad!
We cleaned house yesterday before heading out for lunch, returning home, me getting a haircut and then us going out for an afternoon of entertainment at the Kino Cafe also known as the Kino Flamenco Tapas Bar. A trio was playing but didn't catch their name, one my partner's co-workers plays the mandolin, one of three instruments. There is also a bass player and acoustic guitar player and all three do vocals. They play a lot of folk music.
We then took a walk down to False Creek and strolled along there to Main Street where we grabbed a bite at Torafuku, serving up pan Asian flavours, no sushi here. The food is good, served tapas or family style. Tried it but don't need to go back and besides I'm still craving the sushi I was after.
Then it was a relaxing evening at home that quickly led to bedtime...
...and today's visiting Gay Tarot Energy is “XIV Temperance: Mix things up a little. Combining separate elements to create something new. Moderation (not too much of each flavour). Flexibility.”
This all about keeping our physical, emotional, and spiritual selves in healthy balance. We need to strike up a good balance between the three if we wish to lead healthy and productive lives not for others but rather for ourselves. Balance and equilibrium between our hearts, bodies, and spirits allows us to function as a whole being, if you will thus bring clarity of mind, thought, and action...better able to make decisions that lead to better living.
Better decisions and better living then help us to bring balance into all other areas of our lives such as our relationships whether at home, at work or at play (friends).
Mix it up a little but with a focus on maintaining balance and equilibrium in your life with the goal of maintaining harmony and sanity in your life.

Tuesday, April 19, 2016. A better night's sleep allowed me to awake feeling refreshed and ready to take on the day even though I still head out to the job Monday to Friday, at least for now.
Spirit's time is now and today's Gay Tarot Energy is the “9 of Wands: Don’t mess with me. Defensiveness. Putting up barriers to avoid intimacy."
I've thrown down all of my barriers, all of the barriers I've put up in a confused attempt to protect myself from a threatening entity that is only there because of my imagination and then discover is only myself. Nothing to defend myself against except my own fears that get in the way and create nothing but chaos and confusion in my life that only lead to poor decision making and a thousand and one missteps.
But the last couple of days only prove to me that I have more than enough stamina and perseverance to live my life, my way. And that Spirit, the energy of the cosmos is strong in my life and that I've finally aligned myself with universe and that my life, my energy is in tune and harmony with it too!
So what's the message here? Look into the mirror, look within yourself and see where your defensiveness is truly coming from. What barriers have you built that keep you away from getting close to others? We need to first look within ourselves before casting our eyes to others as to the blockages or hiccups we have in our lives.

Tuesday, November 24, 2015. Another night of on and off sleeplessness. I awoke a few times then again about 30 minutes before the alarm. I guess my sleep is more or less over around the 5:30 mark as I strongly believe that I awake every day at this time. Can't be certain as I do not always look at the time but I pretty certain this has become my natural time to awake to the world. I'm sleeping with stones and crystals under my pillow as I said yesterday and I think changes are taking place within me. I can't really elaborate but something new and exciting is at work in my life.

We are being asked to recognize where we come from and exactly how intricately connected we are to the universe that although seems so distant and vast is intricately interwoven in our lives and nearer than we think as it dwells within us.
It is indeed time to allow ourselves receive the cosmic gifts being offered to us as the "Sun of Life heralds a season blessed with joyous enlightenment, robust health and emotional harmony." And the best way to have this happen is to let "the inner sun at the core of your being shine for all to see, bringing warmth, light and harmony to others..." And from personal experience I can say that by letting my inner sun shine I've brought smiles to the faces of co-workers and provide a more lighthearted and even handed energy in many job related conversations. When we allow it, the ball of fire in the sky brings out the best in us and allows a truly meaningful interaction amongst a variety of individuals.

I had a great day yesterday and found my cardmaking zone and was working on and playing around with handcrafted greeting card designs until about 10pm last night. It was great. This is the time where I enter the realm of timelessness and time ceases to exist for me. I’m simply focused on making cards and nothing else exists around me, it’s just me and my cards. It’s a fantastic experience and feeling to have. I’ll see how it works today.
The evening also included dinner and about 60 minutes of television along with a bit of reading and relaxation before hitting the bed and quickly drifting off to sleep.

I’ve got to find harmony within myself in order to experience deep joy and peace in my life as well as to realize my secret dreams and goals. I’m overcoming much negativity, regret, and guilt, but still have more room to grow and open up to and let in the love, peace, and joy that surrounds me.
Inner harmony brings joy and peace to our lives and shows us that we are surrounded by many blessings and gifts that we may have not have seen before but must always be thankful for.
