We had a busy day yesterday getting ready to host friends for dinner and so we got started quite early in the day to get everything done. I through together chicken fricassee in the slow cooker then whipped up a nice sour cream and lemon cake with a lemon glaze. We then did a bacon and date appetizer along with fig jam, cheese, and crackers. We served a simple green salad and white rice along with the chicken. And it was a success—dinner was great and the conversation lively and entertaining.
Thank You Spirit.
Yesterdays Tarot Card was the “7 of Coins: Chores. Resting after a job well done. Contemplating life's cycles and changes. Planning your next move. Clearing out what's unnecessary in your life to make way for something new."
Well, how true this visiting Tarot Card is. I’ve been organizing my crafting table and supplies so I can get myself back into making handcrafted cards again. I thought I did a decent enough job of organizing but did even more today and am even more satisfied with the results. My crafting table is cleaned off enough for me to work and I’ve got my stamps and papers ready to go.
Thank You Spirit.
And of course, my work today is also a reflection of today’s visiting Tarot Card, “IV The Emperor: Sometimes one must be a benevolent despot. Organization. Taking charge. An authority figure. Utilizing discipline to provide a structure for creativity.”
Now that my crafting table is organized my creative juices are flowing and I’m ready and more than eager to start making cards and such a feeling of creativity is flowing through me too! The colours of paper I’ve chosen for this year’s crop of cards is out of my usual sphere of colours and the designs flowing through my mind is not my normal way of making cards either but I really like my choices.

The Man of Swords and Valuing My Opinions For Once
Another light and easy day yesterday I made time to the gym and work on my crafty cards after a morning or researching jobs and sending out my resume to a few prospective employers. I’m really inspired with making cards, a great business to undertake but not anywhere enough to support myself financially. My ideal job is working my crafts however if I have to get another job in the meantime, I’d love to work in a new age kind of shop such as the ones I visited down in Washington and Oregon—Tenzing Momo, Edge of the Circle Books, Things Rich and Strange, Bohemian Candle or A Gypsy's Whimsy. So, if anyone out there knows of a place in the Metro Vancouver, British Columbia region I’d love to work at such a place or maybe we can team up a create a store of our own. A lovely idea.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Man of Swords: A rational, scientific approach. A thorough investigation.”
It’s great that I value the opinions of others and respect their views and what not however, I need to give myself credit too and I should trust my authority over others’ more often than not. My life is to live my way, at least most of the time anyway. Should do my best to live my life my way as it is my life after all and I at least on occasion should know what’s best for me more than what others may think I should do or be doing with it! I've given up on doing a lot of things because I've been so worried about what other people may think instead of thinking about how I feel or why the things I want to do are so important to me. If they are important to me then I should give my desires more weight go for it, once in awhile. I'm not doing anything dangerous, immoral or illegal so why the worry about others' opinions?
Thank You Spirit.

The Sage of Coins and Diplomacy
I had a good day yesterday even with going to the dentist for a teeth cleaning appointment. I paid a quick visit to my RV, enjoyed and afternoon musical interlude at the college with my partner and made a quick jaunt over to Michael’s to scope out an Ott Lamp. I purchased a couple of things to add to my crafting repertoire and am happy to report that a couple of requests for handmade cards have re-lit my passion for crafting. Earlier this summer I packed everything up in toe boxes as I was sick of it all however today, I’m eager as ever to finish off the many cards in progress as well as start making new ones.
I even came across a book the LOOM Knitting Primer that is perfect to get me into working with the bags of yarn I have in my possession. I’ll likely pick up the companion book sometime this weekend when I go back to Michael's to get my Ott Lamp. I think the fall season may also have something to do with my burning desire to get crafty again. Whatever is responsible I appreciate the kick in the pants, it’s just what I needed to get back into crafting and using the $1000’s worth of crafting supplies I have sitting in the den.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Sage of Cups: Emotional maturity. A good mediator or counselor.”
This card points out the need for me and essentially all of us to do our best in creating atmospheres of caring, tolerance, and understanding in our lives using love and diplomacy in all that we do. We need to do our best to get out of the mindset of the “blame game” and making judgement calls that are not ours to make. We need to tap into our Spiritual side and see things in greater contexts than our human perspective often allow.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

XX Beyond Judgement and Moving Past My Mistakes
A fairly relaxing day yesterday. Although, I made a couple of handcrafted cards and we finished our bathroom project by installing the large medicine cabinet. The day was pleasant and we made it over to the quay for a coffee before relaxing at home for the remainder of the day. Actually, I sorted through my craft bins and dug out cards to finish for Thanksgiving, Halloween, and Christmas. Then it was dinner and a little TV before bed.
This morning I dug through my craft bins again to look for paint brushes I was certain I had before going out today to buy more. Lo and behold, I found them in an envelope, about five or six of them. One thing I found though is that the lighting I have for my craft table is too dark to see well enough the detailed lines within which to paint so a new brighter light is in order. I guess I need an Ott light.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is “XX Beyond Judgement: Self-acceptance must come before liberation. Freedom from others’ expectations. Trying to make conditions better for others. Altruism. Pride. Self-acceptance.”
It is time for me to once and for all truly forgive myself of my mistakes and poor decision and move past them. I’ve screwed up and will likely screw up again but I can no longer dwell on what is in the past and still affects me in the present. The time to move on and the time for renewal are now. I know deep down I’m an Rver and need to live a nomadic life however, I also need the financial means with which to do this and that leads to the need for a job, at least for now.
Although I can always throw caution to the wind and just go for it but that seems a bit too risky for me now although the idea is always popping into my mind these days. There might be something to it…meditation and spiritual time is needed to see myself through this thought and where I need to go.
Thank You Spirit.

The 10 of Coins and Being Spirit
What a wonderful day of Spirit I had yesterday. Errands were completed, home chores tackled, a wonderful roast chicken dinner and all the trimmings was made, and a night of glad tidings was had.
Upon crawling into bed and simply allowing the day’s events drift away spirit and energy filled the room. Everywhere I looked I saw spirit and energy. At first I was a little anxious but soon peace and tranquility filled the room and I felt at ease, comforted, loved…I simply was…
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “10 of Coins: History. A knowledge of and appreciation for history. Seeing your concerns in a larger context. Seeing your life as a story, who is the author?”
Building a solid foundation for my future is key and to do this I must take control of my life and write my own story. Working with crafts may be that key to success I’m looking for as is all matters of Spirit. Spirit is in fact the most important key to my success.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

XVIII The Moon, Moving Beyond Illusion Into the Unknown
Yesterday was another day of errands as we had to pick up a couple of items to finish off one project as well as exchange a couple of cabinets for undamaged ones. The cabinets were not seriously damaged but had areas where the stain was rubbed off or a slight ding inside. Every cabinet we looked at was similar so we took a discount and the least damaged cabinets. We then picked up an $8 wood stain marker that matched the colour of the cabinets and made a quick and easy repair of the cabinets. The problem is the way the cabinets are packaged, not enough soft padding material to protect them.
One cabinet is already on the wall, the smaller and lighter of the two, looks really good and the new paper fabric panels that replaced our closet door operate quite seamlessly.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is “XVIII The Moon: Sexuality pulls us into a different, non-rational world which is sometimes frightening, always creative. A sense of mystery. Creative ideas which gestate in the subconscious. Sexuality or sex".
XVIII The Moon likely signifies illusion or confusion or wandering along an aimless path. XVIII The Moon is the light of the realm of shadow and night and will be my guide to the unknown so I can allow the unusual into my life. (from Learning the Tarot, Joan Bunning, Weiser, 1998, pp 148-149)
I love the light of the Moon and welcome the unknown and the unusual into my life. I’m in a place of suspension, in between worlds, if you will, neither here nor there, a bubble so-to-speak, looking for a path to take me to where I need to be and where I need to go…
Thank You Spirit.

VIII Justice and Accepting Responsibility
Fall is upon us and the weather is very reflective of this change in seasons. The temperatures are cool, if not cold some days and it’s time to dig out the warmer clothes.
Yesterday was a relaxing day of home chores and coffee with a friend, an easy dinner of warmed up leftovers and a bit of television before bed.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is “VIII Justice: Even today, gays can be the victims of “justice”. An unfair judgement. Being too judgemental or righteous. Feeling restricted by others’ expectations.”
My mistakes are my own and I own up to and take responsibility for them and the consequences I’ve had to live because of them. I accept that my life is a reflection of my decisions both bad and good. I make amends and transcend my wrongs so I can move forward with a clear mind and conscious thus allowing myself to make better decisions each and every day moving forward.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

Blessed Mabon and XV Self-Hatred
Blessed Mabon. Happy Fall Everyone!
We had a decent day yesterday although I was feeling quite under the weather. We went and did a bit of shopping yesterday. We are tired of battling the competing doors in our bedroom. The closet door and bedroom door are too close together, poor design, and the closet door opens into the bedroom and gets in the way of us moving about the bedroom if it is open. Then the two cabinets in the bathroom are being replaced as they are cheap and paper covered wood and the paper has worn out and they are looking less than stellar.
We had dinner with my brother and some Uncles and an aunt and friends last night and it was quite a pleasant evening. The food was excellent.
Then back home and into bed.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is “XV Self-Hatred. The trap to avoid for all minorities. Unconsciously accepting societal norms. Low self-esteem.”
Time to see the truths in my light with Spirit by my side and as my guide. I need to accept these truths and deal with them honestly and effectively and move on while keeping faith in myself and the good person that I am and can be.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

XII The Hanged Man and Giving Up To Find What You're Looking For
Ran a couple of errands yesterday before relaxing a little before getting dinner going and ready for our Friday Night Dinner with Friends. They were running late so dinner sat for awhile longer than I hoped but it still tasted good. The nights went well and we managed to get through it without a problem. Always good when that happens.
I had a tough night of sleeplessness and many a thought and the odd dream or two. Thinking of yesterday’s Tarot Card revealed more wisdom and knowledge and again my dreams were all about travel. Yesterday’s Tarot Card, XI Strength was pointing out the need for inner strength and strong character, not to give in to despair or to give up on myself or my dreams.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is “XII The Hanged Man: Living in the moment. Being fully absorbed in the present. Nonattachment to goals. Seeing things from a new angle.”
As I read in “Learning the Tarot”, pages 136-137, this card is full of contradictions. I need to live in the moment, as I’m slowly learning to do. And I need to, as hard or contradictory as this may seem, give up my urgency to achieve my dreams and goals and this will help me find what I’m looking for.
This is also advice given by Deepak Chopra in his book The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success. Nonattachment to goals, detached intentions, allowing our dreams and goals to evolve and come to fruition without force or force of will. Living in harmony with Spirit and the natural world...
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

XI Strength and Focused Energy
I ran errands yesterday and then came home and communed with Spirit most of the afternoon. I spent a lot of my free time in Spirit and released a lot of anxiety, worry, and negativity from my life, allowing Spirit to wash over me and lift me up into the realm of love, compassion, wisdom, and knowledge. This was followed by a great night’s sleep filled with many dreams that involved travel and family and friends in a variety of circumstances.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is “XI Strength: Directing your passions, rather than suppressing them, is the key. Finding healthy outlets for powerful energies.”
I need to focus more attention on the present as well as the things I like to do most such as writing, ventriloquism, spool-knitting, and model railroading. Focusing my energies on these as well as all things spirit will help me to fulfill my purpose in life so this what I intend to do. Lessons must be learned by changing my thinking and behaviour and knocking bad habits out of life. I must act on the lessons, guidance and wisdom being provided to me instead simply paying lip service to them.
Action is key.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The 10 of Coins Again...
I piddled around most of the day yesterday but did manage to take a drive over to my RV where I cleared out an area in the RV where my next project is concerned and then I piddled around the RV before sitting down for a moment or two and simply allowed myself to “be”. I found the RV to be very comforting yesterday and sensed that this feeling will only grow stronger the more complete and finished the RV becomes especially in the sense of not having any construction supplies lying around and having the RV complete as a living environment, my home, my oasis, my serene space, something I can call my very own.
Thank You Spirit.
Once I returned home I started preparations for dinner and slowly got that going, I made chilli. It was good but a bit on the salty side but we enjoyed it all the same. Then we relaxed for the evening before going to bed and allowing sleep to wash over us…
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is another repeat visitor, the “10 of Coins: History. A knowledge of and appreciation for history. Seeing your concerns in a larger context. Seeing your life as a story, who is the author?”
A couple of things stand out with the appearance of 10 of Coins again and these are things that grabbed and held my attention this morning, Crowley’s Thoth Tarot Deck and the book How To Write for the New Age Market by Richard Webster. Ever since our road trip to the Oregon Coast and the stores I visited in Astoria and Newport I’ve had a strong sense that I need to focus my life, attention, and need for employment on all things Spirit. I’m filled with a certain faith and courage that my needs will be taken care of and I have no sense of worry about me. I believe…I know…

The 10 of Coins and History
I have a cold or sinus infection. I’m surprised but at the same not surprised as on the flight home from Mexico quite a few people were coughing and sneezing. Hopefully, it passes quickly. I slept well though, feel a bit crappy with all the congestion in my sinuses but I’ll manage to get on with my day.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “10 of Coins: History. A knowledge of and appreciation for history. Seeing your concerns in a larger context. Seeing your life as a story, who is the author?”
I need to be the author of my own life story as we all do. Sometimes we choose to follow rules and conventions however we can do so while still taking control of own lives and how we live each and every day of it. Life is complicated and challenging yet we must strive to be as independent and independent minded as possible and think for ourselves. We have to break free of the mass mentality that pervades our society and be free thinkers and do our best to live in harmony with the natural and spiritual realms so we can transcend human folly.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The 9 of Swords and Paying Attention to the Minor Choices I Make
Our friends came by last night to drop off our keys after looking after our place for the past week. We chatted for a couple of hours before they departed and we gave them a couple of gifts from Mexico. Then we relaxed for an hour or so as we watched the news before going to bed around 11pm.
My night’s sleep was decent enough, got up a couple of times and had quite a few dreams that I even remember. Then as it neared 7am I decided to get up as I had to drop the car off at the repair shop to have it fixed after our little fender bender during our road trip to the Oregon Coast. My appointment was actually for yesterday. I apologized profusely but the customer care agent put me at ease by telling that my forgetfulness worked out better for them as they had a busy day yesterday. The car should only be in there for a couple of days. I also have the use of a courtesy car on behalf of my insurance company.
I returned home for breakfast and another day of chores in between looking for a new job. A part of me is a nervous wreck as my employment insurance has ended yet there is a part of me that is telling me to relax and stop worrying so much. Then of course, I have this underlying feeling that I need to focus my attention on my dreams and goals of life and travel in an RV. Don’t give up on them is constantly being whispered into my ears. Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is once again, the “9 of Swords: Unquiet Dreams. Stress. Worries. Mental tapes which play over and over.”
I’m not sure what to make of this repeat visit however I sense that I need to look at the minor choices and decisions I’m making and pay more attention to them. Being more conscious of what I’m choosing to do and why I choosing to do it. I need to be present in every action I make and take throughout the day. Present moment awareness is today’s theme and should be an every moment occurrence each and every day.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.
Back From Mexico Vacation, the 9 of Swords, A Word of Caution
We’re back from another week’s vacation, this time the Riu Tequila Hotel and Resort, Playa del Carmen, Mexico. The weather was not great but we made it to the beach every day although one day was very short and we walked back to the few blocks back to the resort in a torrential downpour. Walking in the downpour was a new experience for me and one I thoroughly enjoyed. On the flight back home last night the plane was flying above a thunderstorm and those of us who noticed were treated to an orchestral lightning show for about 45 minutes or so, what a beautiful sight to behold, spellbinding, wonderful, a glorious gift from Spirit.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “9 of Swords: Unquiet Dreams. Stress. Worries. Mental tapes which play over and over.”
I was not expecting to have a visit from this card, the 9 of Swords but I completely understand why it is appearing today. I can relate to gist of the card and see it as subtle warning or perhaps a better way to say it, a caution sign to review and go over again my plans for my future. I may be in for a bit of bumpy ride in the days ahead.
And last week’s visiting Tarot Cards were:
Sunday, September 8th – Ace of Wands
Monday, September 9th – 3 of Coins
Tuesday, September 10th – 2 of Wands
Wednesday, September 11th – 5 of Wands
Thursday, September 12th – 3 of Coins
Friday, September 13th – XV Self-Hatred
Saturday, September 14th – Youth of Wands
Sunday, September 15th – 3 of Coins
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The 2 of Swords and Wiccan Graces
Another fairly quiet day yesterday, nothing hectic, quite relaxing overall. I visited my RV again so I could add a few things to make her feel more homey and welcoming. I also discovered a little bit of a water leak in an area I thought was sealed up pretty good, I applied more exterior sealant to see if does the job. But other than that I’m really liking the overall feel and energy of my RV. Then we had dinner with my brother and his friend at Baci Ristorante in North Burnaby, a very nice venue with great food and service.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “2 of Swords: Meditation. Closing your eyes to outer circumstances in order to gain perspective or to avoid a decision. Refusing to act".
Since I’ve had a feeling that I’ve somewhat been avoiding “life” for the past year I’ve been working at or working on 10 "Wiccan Graces" that I feel I need to strengthen in my life, nine of them came from “The Circle Within” by Diane Sylvan, a book I purchased in Portland (Powell's Books) and one from myself. They are love, compassion, forgiveness, humour, gratitude, integrity, wisdom, joy, growth, and my own, Being, simply being.
I know where I want my life to be but it is just getting there that is holding me up. I kind of developed this great chasm between where I am now and where I want to be and am not sure how to work around it or get rid of it once and for all—refusing to act…but I’ll get there…
Thank You Spirit.

The 3 of Coins and Creating
I had another fairly quiet day yesterday although I did get some time in at my RV, no really work accomplished, I just simply allowed myself to be. I did look at the poster I put up as I noticed a few things on the poster when I looked at a few photos I took of what it looks like of the RV’s refrigerator door. I also brought a few “spiritual” things into the RV to create a bit of a sanctuary or serene space for myself. Then I sat for a while and worked with Tarot as I sat there thinking about the RV as my home and spending some of my life living and traveling in the RV, the “9 of Pentacles” dropped by for a visit, “strive for success” stuck in my mind so while relaxing last night I worked with Tarot again with this phrase in mind and the “5 of Wands” came up, competition and opposition, not necessarily from others or outsides forces but rather from within myself and my maybe competing passions and interests.
I need to focus on my real talents and abilities in order to be successful. What do I pick from these: handcrafted cards and beads, ventriloquism, spiritualism, writing, RVing…
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “3 of Coins: A child’s room. Creating a positive environment for someone. Work done for the pleasure of it.”
With further reflection and study of this card I am also pressed to think about planning and preparation and focusing on the details and seeking help or advice in order to turn the corner and reach, attain, and achieve my goals and live my dreams. Being proud of what I do and how I do it involves much “behind the scenes” work and effort that will help me to achieve what almost seems impossible but will bring much joy and satisfaction for years to come. And many a time what may seem like work to some brings much pleasure and joy to my heart.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The Youth of Swords, Curiosity, Learning, and Discovery
Another simply and quiet day yesterday with just a bit of activity thrown in to keep it from being boring. I worked out at the gym, took the car in to the collision repair shop to have it looked at and book an appointment to have the repairs done, visited the RV and applied some sealant, ate lunch and put up poster, then I quickly drove home so we could take transit over to Commercial Drive to meet a couple of friends for coffee at Continental Coffee before returning home for the remainder of the afternoon and make our way into a quiet and relaxing evening. Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Youth of Swords: Curiosity. Research. Computers, e-mail. Immature communication. Spying (or "hacking")."
Problems disguised as challenges to test me a little bit yet at the same time offer lessons, growth, strength, and resiliency. The best way to approach challenges is with an open mind, in the spirit of learning and discovery which will allow me to expand my mind and intellect in fun and creative ways. Approaching such situations with a good dose of curiosity often lead to in-depth research that sheds light on matters that often reveal hidden truths or little gems of great knowledge or magic!
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The Guide of Swords
Another fairly quiet day yesterday, simply did home chores and ran a couple of errands. I tried to read and study but that was tough to do for some reason, other things kept popping up, I guess that’s what nine days on the road can do, postpone things in process that need one’s attention when they get back to the grind. I’m okay with that.
But lessons are learned regardless of how we spend our time especially when we open our hearts, minds, and spirits to the signs and messages that often appear in our lives when we have a question, a concern, need direction, or guidance or are simply in need of pep talk or a shoulder to lean on, deity is always there for us. I’m learning to see the future I want as a reality and to keep that in focus so I can better realize it. I’m trying not to worry about the nitty gritty details as they have a working themselves out and instead will see my future as I want it to be. Not wishful thinking per se but a detached intent to live my life a certain way without worry attached to it. Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Guide of Swords: A wider perspective. Altruistic thoughts. Messages from the higher self.”
Truth and honesty are the best policy but being candid also has its place. Human folly is just that and need not be judged or criticized and may best be viewed with a good dose of humour. Be open and receptive to people you meet but have a keen eye so as not be fooled. And we must always do our best but keep our expectations realistic so as not take on more than we can accomplish, small steps are sometimes better than trying to make giant leaps.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

"I The Magician" and Creating a Life Not Reacting to It!
We had another fairly quiet day yesterday and were out briefly to pick up a couple of things we needed during the morning then later in the afternoon as we met a friend for coffee and a walk along the New Westminster Quay. For the evening I planned to read and study a little bit but someone wanted me to sit and watch television and keep them company so I did that instead. Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is “I The Magician: To live fully, one must create a life, not merely react to it. Creativity. Ability. Making something happen.”
These are my thoughts, creating my life through intuition, creativity, and action through harnessing the divine power that is within reach through love and gratitude as well as grounding myself to and with the Earth so I use such powerful energies with purposeful thought and action and remembrance of who I am, where I came from and the gift of life I receive each and every day.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The 7 of Wands and Dreams Meet Reality and Become One
We mostly relaxed at home yesterday only going out ever so briefly for a quick lunch and a stop for a few groceries before landing back home to unpack and get re-oriented with home. The day then simply carried along as we washed and dried clothes, read, studied, watched a little TV and then the day was done. Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “7 of Wands: Fighting the Wind. A Quixotic struggle. Winning against the odds. Confrontation.”
I think this card is really about me struggling against myself and my dreams and goals and how to achieve and live them. Traveling down to the Oregon Coast as we did really filled me with the desire to get out on the road and travel and find a way to earn a living while doing it—a desire I’ve had since as far back as I can remember. As I listened to the waves of the Pacific Ocean wash up and crash along or against the shore of the Oregon Coast I knew that living and traveling on the road is a purposeful way for me to live my life. Thank You Spirit.
The 7 of Wands is about mustering up the courage and determination needed for me to make my dreams and goals a reality. As I relaxed, read, and studied yesterday new ideas, twists on old ideas and a multifaceted approach to earning a few dollars while wondering down the highways and bi-ways filled my mind. My heart was lit up and light, full of love, grace, gratitude, joy, and compassion as it is now. My dreams and goals are real, are in the here and now thanks to living in the present, being aware of this special moment in time where dreams and reality meet and become one.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The 6 of Coins and a Sense of Mystery
We made it back home after nine days of travel down to the Oregon Coast and back again. We had a great time visiting the many stops along the way starting with Edison Washington located along Chuckanut Drive, Washington State Route 11. Edison is a small little town with a few bakeries and art galleries that offer feasts for the food lover and the art collector. The drive itself is best taken slow with many stops along the way. Our next stop was Olympia, no real idea of why we should stop here but we thought a change from always being in Seattle was in order. We visited the downtown core that has much character with many characters, 4th Avenue is quite the funky street. We also visited the Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge, an area being restored back from farmland to migratory bird refuge, a great boardwalk and interpretive centre provide information on the many species of life that rely on this work. Next stop Portland, a few days in Portland is always worth the stay. Then onto the Oregon Coast with quick stops in Astoria, Seaside/Tillicum, Cannon Beach and our final destination this trip, Newport. Devil’s Punch Bowl, Boiler Bay, the Yaquina Head Lighthouse, the Oregon Aquarium, and Newport’s historic Bayfront and Nye Beach areas filled our days there. On our way back we spent the night in Tacoma before heading off to Seattle for lunch and an afternoon of exploring Capitol Hill before arriving safely home.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “6 of Coins: Dependence. Resentment because of financial dependence on another. An unequal relationship.”
But this card is not all that is seems as it may be or seem obvious that it spells out exactly what the words allude to but perhaps not all is as it seems. This card is two sides of a coin and can be more than the literal words imply. It is true that I’m unemployed and no longer receiving benefits but am I dependent on another, not yet but maybe soon but then maybe not. Financial dependence on another can also refer to having a job and relying on an employer for a paycheque so where does this card point? The answer is up in the air for now.
Also, bits and pieces of other information have appeared to me this morning that point to areas where I can earn my living my own way, it may take awhile but I will do it. Two interests of mine are what it will provide me with the income I desire the lifestyle I most am in tune with-Tarot, Ventriloquism, and RVing.
Thank You Spirit.
