Wednesday, September 30th, 2015. A two hour Spanish Class last evening kept me away from my writing and my blog post. I did not know what to expect however I had an enjoyable evening and felt like I learned a few things. Cool, I just might be able to speak Spanish to my partner after almost eleven years of being together.
Spirit Is and yesterday's Tarot Essence was the "Two of Bows, Decision: The bow represents not just the potential energy latent within any situation, but the need to direct and manage that energy to achieve your goals. This can mean first movement towards reinvigorating and reforming the relationship with life. It requires the decisive will to step across a threshold and take control in a positive and proactive manner. Sometimes this may require a reclaiming and remaking of the mental and emotional tools and energies that are required to move on in life. This phrase is the energy I'm feeling as I become one with the "Two of Bows": "The bow represents not just the potential energy latent within any situation, but the need to direct and manage that energy to achieve your goals."
And the "3 The Green Woman" is asking that we "learn from the abundant and joyous spirit of the Earth and be at one with the world and" our "true self."
It becomes easier to manage and direct energy to our goals when we are one with the world and our true selves. So let's go ahead and get ourselves, let's make some amazing discoveries and maybe some not so great but we can deal with those too but for now let's just say "Hi" to ourselves and take it from there.

The 'Three of Bows, Fulfillment' and Trusting That Your Goals Are Realized
Monday, September 28th, 2015. We went out for a bike ride yesterday a quick grocery run. We rode from downtown New Westminster over to Queensborough and back. Then we had our lunch followed a little later by an afternoon coffee and warm chocolate chip cookies. I wiled the afternoon away playing around with my model train layout, flipping through model railroad magazines. This continued up until bedtime. Sleep was good however I did awake slightly before the alarm however I was still surprised when the alarm awoke us with its musical serenade.
Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot Energy is the "Three of Bows, Fulfillment: Nourishment from a spiritual source gives inner security and joy. Goals and desires are reached, making life rich with emotional scrutiny and a sense of completion. The archer must be at one with the bow to fully direct its potential energy, and just as the arrow passes through the bow, propelling it to its target with effortless grace, the questing heart and seeker of knowledge allows the energy to flow through him. This combination of balanced energy and intellectual focus enables the mastering of any situation and allows the enrichment of success by being both at one with the environment and its inhabitants. Have your goals in mind but be detached from them, reassess them if and when necessary however let that seed you planted germinate, grow and blossom into the success you wish it to be instead of digging it up every now and then in order to see if it has sprouted yet. Your goal needs to time to incubate in the cosmos and be filled with the energy of the universe before it can become anything...so be release your arrows and then be patient.
For instance, today I visited 'Serenity', my camper van and had a flash of seeing my goals realized but only if I let it germinate sprout, grow and blossom into a successful outcome. I've released my arrows and they are on target to hit their mark. I trust the universe and know that the cosmos is providing them with the added energy necessary so they succeed.

'18 The Moon on Water' and Fine Tuning My Goals
Sunday, September 27th, 2015. We relaxed for the morning, had lunch then headed downtown to grab a coffee before meeting our friends to catch a movie and have dinner with them. The movie is only one of the I think 375 movies being shown at this year's VIFF or Vancouver International Film Festival. We saw a Turkish movie, 'Ivy' that turns out to be the name of the ship that 6 sailors had to remain on just outside of a port as the ship's owner went bankrupt. I do believe they were on the ship for about two months, ran out of food and were running low on water. Great movie.
Dinner was at a familiar place for us, La Casita at the corner of Cordova and Abbott Streets in the Gastown neighbourhood of Vancouver. The food is quite tasty and portion sizes are very generous. Our friends were impressed, this having been their first visit.
After dinner we walked back to our earlier meeting place, the theatre, said our so longs before heading our separate ways. A nice relatively early evening for us, as we arrived home around 9pm, giving us plenty of time to relax and enjoy the rest of our evening before slipping into bed...and I slept in this morning, crawling out of bed around 7:15am.
Spirit Is and today's Tarot Energy is "18 The Moon on Water heralds a time of inner transformation, initiation, or awareness. This may take the form of a seemingly random situation based on the emotional or spiritual spheres, but your inner voice may have been whispering for some time and gone unheeded. For me this is a tie where my goals and desires have become more finely tuned and focused as I now know that although my goals remain relatively the same I also know that my focus has to be on simply lifting people up and inspiring them to see beyond the limitations of our human perspective and instead view the world through a spiritual and infinite lens where all possibilities exist. As a continuation on yesterday's theme I also want to approach everyone through spirit from my spirit to theirs, recognizing them as real people and where their lives do matter. There was no better example of this than our walk through 'Victory Square' as this is where a lot of what I'll refer to as society's castaways hangout, no disrespect intended. I walked through the park unafraid with love and recognition that each of these individuals deserved to loved and recognized as human beings and that their lives mattered. I left no room in my heart to either label or judge them. I did my best to look at each of them sending love and respect their way as we walked by.
I'll be a bachelor for about ten days the latter half of October and during these ten days (I'll actually start now) on top of my already existing plans I'm going to immerse myself in Wiccan rituals and maybe even spells in order to grow, strengthen and find a way where I can quit my existing job and instead shift my focus into helping those left behind, the castaways of society, the forgotten ones, the discarded lives...
...discarded lives of individuals who may have wonderful things to offer us if they receive a little love, respect and acknowledgement that they are indeed human beings and that they matter...

One Tin Soldier (Rides Again) and Put Your Hand in the Hand
Saturday, September 26th, 2015. We headed out last night, going downtown to meet up with a friend and then have a late dinner. The evening was enjoyable, we arrive home late but satisfied with the pleasantness of the night out we had. We slipped into bed pretty much as soon as we walked through the door and as quickly as we could shed our clothes. It was only an hour or so later than our usual bedtime but we were both sleepy and tired.
Yesterday as I was heading back to the office I had the radio on and soon a song was playing and my heart soul began to cry as the music and lyrics filled me with sadness as I reflected on the words and music that seeped to the very core of my being. Then I thought "What are we doing with this world live and the people that we share it with?"

Then as I lost myself this morning in a flickering candle flame and the rising sweet scent of 'Moon" incense I laid my card of the day spread...

The 'Three of Bows, Fulfillment' and Finding Sleep Through Communion With Spirit
Thursday, September 24th, 2015. I awoke and had a bit of a sleepless as I thought through my finances. After about an hour or so I calmed myself as I realized through communion with Spirit that I'm doing quite alright. Yes, I have debt but I'm paying it down and investing in my future.

I can certainly attest to the fact that "Nourishment from a spiritual source gives inner security and joy." My sleepless night that became relaxed filled with sleep came as a result of tapping into the Spiritual energy that is always with us especially when we pay attention to it and don't take it for granted. Last night I also had the overwhelming feeling that my "Goals and desires are reached, making" my "life rich with emotional scrutiny and a sense of completion."
I fell asleep feeling very good with the knowledge that I'm on a good foundation, I'm growing and learning what I need to so I can transition to a more spiritual career and that I'm proactively involved in the present and am giving my all to the job I currently have. I'm comfortable using my bow and allowing its energy to propel my desires toward the attainment of my goals. I allow the power of Spirit to fill and flow through to inspire others to do the same.

'5 The Ancestor' and Heeding the Call
Wednesday, September 23rd, 2015. Dreams through the night come and go...dreams about shaving and shaving a little too much of my beard, then shaving so all that is left is a five o'clock shadow. Family, friends, then work. Then I dream about travel, travel in an RV, meeting people and inspiring one another through our spirits.
Spirit Is and today's Tarot Energy is "5 The Ancestor: You have made the leap and started a new cycle. Your instinctive spirit has felt it necessary to lead you to the gateway and a new path. You may have been reluctant or concerned at first, but whether you realize it or not a shift has occurred. My focus on the present and how I want to shape my future and how I see my future unfolding is becoming very precise and directed in the finest of details. It's great how relaxed and patient I've become in shaping my future even though I'd like to be living such a life today and realistically speaking I already am. More work needs to be done but the energy is there, the momentum is moving in the direction I want it to go and I'm more deeply spiritual and understanding of my spiritual calling.
Let your soul come alive, take a quiet moment and listen...what do you hear? ? Is there a whispering voice in your head that you just can't shake? Well, pay attention to it! Is your ancestor calling you, calling you into action, to forge a new path, to take up a new calling?
Close your eyes for a moment and let Spirit show you who you really are and where you need to go in and with your life. Now open your eyes and follow the path laid out before you and be guided by "the ancient Ancestor within you".

My focus on the present and how I want to shape my future and how I see my future unfolding is becoming very precise and directed in the finest of details. It's great how relaxed and patient I've become in shaping my future even though I'd like to be living such a life today and realistically speaking I already am. More work needs to be done but the energy is there, the momentum is moving in the direction I want it to go and I'm more deeply spiritual and understanding of my spiritual calling.
Let your soul come alive, take a quiet moment and listen...what do you hear? ? Is there a whispering voice in your head that you just can't shake? Well, pay attention to it! Is your ancestor calling you, calling you into action, to forge a new path, to take up a new calling?
Close your eyes for a moment and let Spirit show you who you really are and where you need to go in and with your life. Now open your eyes and follow the path laid out before you and be guided by "the ancient Ancestor within you".

'The Great Bear' and Being Proactive When Change Comes Calling
Tuesday, September 22, 2015. Mabon. Happy Mabon Folks! May the celebration of the Autumnal Equinox be a good one and bring us all closer together as we celebrate another harvest and giving much thanks for this blessing. Llewellyn's 2015 Magical Almanac has it listed for today and tomorrow!
Another evening of piddling around doing a whole lot of nothing. Well, not really as I focused my energy on getting more in tune with my website, blog, and how best I can follow my calling and live a more spiritual life as well as transition into a more spiritually minded career. I love working and interacting with Tarot Essence and Energy as it enriches every atom of my being to overflowing with everything I wish to be and bring into this world. I love working and interacting with candles and incense. Losing myself in a flickering candle flame as the smoky incense swirls skyward carrying me with it. Mind, body, and spirit become one and simply are.
One way I'm did this is by divesting myself of the many things I've hung onto for years such as greeting cards, knick-knacks, books, magazines, and odds n ends that I thought I couldn't possibly get rid of. As I mentioned in my Sunday writing I got rid of it all. Opening and going through the boxes allowed me to re-experience and truly capture the energy and emotions trapped in all of those things take it all in, forever stamp those memories into my mind and now keep it with me as a new source of energy and state of being. I'm spiritually richer through this experience.
A sleep filled night gave way to a sweet serenade from the alarm gently lifting us out of our slumber. We slipped out of bed and slowly got on with our day.
Spirit Is and today's Tarot Essence is "20 The Great Bear: The only thing in life that is assured is that, if you wait long enough, it will change. How you survive that change and who you are after it is up to you. The major element in this process is judgement of yourself and others. This may relate to an assessment regarding a personal matter or situation, and could be linked to the process of forgiving. It may also relate to a group or social decision. In the process of judgement, both as an individual and on the universal level, honesty is the key. Be honest, be forgiving, be patient, but most of all, be assured change is at hand. Remember, the universe has a long memory. Nothing is ever forgotten."
Time to be proactive and be change by facing and dealing with it dead on instead of merely reacting to it. Change in my life is occurring more than ever in my life these days as I become more laser focused on how to move into living and work a more spiritual lifestyle. My sense of energy and being has shifted and I'm having more meaningful, rich and fulfilling interactions with Tarot and Spirit. I'm experiencing Tarot more than playing with the cards. I've become an extension of the cards and of Spirit in ways I never thought possible. It's truly a new and exciting experience for me.
I now realize that as much as I thought I was having a nice, simple and real spiritual experience, I was wrong. I was merely scratching at the surface. Lights have turned on, transformation has occurred and a new sense of life and living has taken over.
Change and being proactive and engaged in change once you realize it's happening is the best way to deal with it. So don't shy away from and instead tackle it head on as best you can. Sometimes it might be tough, challenging and downright painful and depressing but face it and know, feel and experience it knowing full well that Spirit is right there alongside you having faith in your abilities and capabilities in dealing with change.
