Another welcoming morning spent with Spirit, Gaia, and Tarot. Candles lit, Spiritual Guides Incense burning, stones, crystals, wand and other magickal tools lending a hand this morning.
Spirit Is and today's Pagan Tarot Energy is "VIII Strength: The kind of strength this card speaks of is less about toughness, less about force or power, and more about patience, endurance, surviving adversity, and finding inner peace. We must learn to trust the process, we must now begin to thrive, not merely survive."
Never forget that "we must now begin to thrive, not merely survive." We have it in us, the strength of spirit, the strength of love and of life that provides us with the patience and endurance needed to propel us forward to a place where thriving is simply the way it is.
I think for me, there is a bigger lesson to learned here. When you look and immerse yourself into this card and the energy it represents you cannot help but understand, feel and know what it's all about. We are deeply interconnected with nature and need to do more to become more in tune with all that nature is and represents. We are not separate from this world, we are an integral part of it. Nor are we more superior or more intelligent than anything on this planet until we prove otherwise and I dare say and this is merely my own opinion based on what I see, that up until now we have not fully lived up to the level of intelligence that we purport to have.

Thursday, March 10, 2016. Battling a cold is never a fun experience but I'm doing my best to remain upbeat and on top of my game.

This really stands out for me today: "we must now begin to thrive, not merely survive" and I guess that is why "VIII Strength" is all "about patience, endurance, surviving adversity, and finding inner peace." This is how we begin to thrive and blossom in our lives fulfilling our deepest desires and most cherished dreams and goals. Many obstacles that we come across in life are of our own doing and often times a result of losing focus on our goals by allowing and giving time and energy to distractions that should and need to be quickly worked through or swept aside.
"Inner peace" gives us strength as it connects us with the universal consciousness of which we are all a part and in so connecting we have access to and can harness the power and unlimited potential of the universe. It's within us, we just have to recognize it and unleash it in our lives.
