Monday, July 7th, 2014. I slept alright last night however, the last hour or so was not a very restful sleep but I’m okay with it. Last night was a relaxing evening with me piddling about with my model railroad layout and my partner plucking away on some piano keys.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Youth of Wands: Focusing attention on something. Reaching for a goal from a possibly unsteady foundation.”
The “Youth of Wands” reminds us to be proactive and push ahead with plans sooner rather than later. If it can be done today then don’t put it off until tomorrow. Opportunities may be waiting for our action to get going with our lives and pursue and succeed with our dreams. One of the best ways to do this is with planning-realistic planning that pulls everything together and then allows us to put it all in motion.
Do today what needs to be done for the tomorrow you wish to have.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

VII The Chariot and Enjoying Life
Sunday, July 6th, 2014. Clouds and a bit of rain this weekend have not dampened our spirits or enjoyment of the weekend. We ran errands, made our weekly grocery run and accomplished a bit of this and that as yesterday moved along at its own pace. Sleep treated me kindly and I slept quite well through the night and awoke with great energy and a strong desire to get on with my day. In fact, I feel as if I have a 9 o’clock appointment with a client. I’m not even set-up to do this yet and here is this feeling that fills every atom of my being.
Thank You Spirit.
Oh, and what a pleasure it is to enjoy and savor every sip of coffee this morning. Taking a slurp of coffee with eyes closed and purely enjoying the moment—aahhh what a feeling! And then to go out on the balcony and give the morning a hug—what a great way to start my day.
Thank you Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is “VII The Chariot: Among the highs and lows of life, make sure you enjoy the highs. At the top of one's game. Seizing an opportunity. Having everything under control (barely).”
How is life for you today? Is it a day to take by the reins and move in the direction you wish to go with a firm grip and solid knowledge and acceptance of your own beliefs and making decisions based on your wants instead of the wants of others? It is! It’s time to take control and move to the beat of your drum. Make decisions and live by them. Be prepared for all the possibilities and roll with the punches if they come your way or simply savor, enjoy, and thank the divine and ride the waves of success as you move forward and make the progress you’ve desired to make in your life.
Thank you Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The Guide of Wands and Expressing Yourself, the Real You
Saturday, July 5th, 2014. I did not sleep well last night and lay awake for a couple of hours or I guess better put I tried to sleep instead of just sleep and sleep just did not fall over me. Then I awoke around 7:00am and decided to get up so I can have some quiet and alone time. I’m going through a phase where I’d like to be on my own for a spell so having weekend mornings to myself for an hour so is great.
Our microwave died earlier in the week and we decided to have it looked at today so we spent about an hour trying to take it down. This was most difficult to do as whomever installed it did not install it according to the manual. As not was the mounting plate screwed into the wall, so was the microwave. The anchors they used did not stay in the wall very well so the microwave was hung up on one side until I finally took a peek as best I could at the arms that slide into the outside frame of the microwave and see how it was catching inside the opening. What a relief it came off as I lifted and straightened out the mounting plate while lifting and tilting the microwave enough to clear the catch on the mounting plate arm. I don’t look forward to the re-installation of this one if it can be fixed or a new one if we have to go that direction.
Since we struggled so much with taking down the microwave we decided to eat dinner out and I against my intuition opted for the New York Steak at the Old Spaghetti Factory. Big mistake as the steak was tough and tasted no better than what I make at home and have since stopped making at home since we do such a lousy job at cooking up a good steak. Should have gone with the Chicken Neptune that was calling out to me.
Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Guide of Wands: Feeling possessed by a creative project or inspiration. Being inspired to help others. Doing what’s right.”
I need to express my “natural” self more and definitely do a better job of paying attention to and trusting my intuition. I am an “II Intuitive” after all. I need to be “me” and express the “me” that I know myself to be. This is the direction I’m taking in my life—changing careers by becoming self-employed and empowered through a website and a somewhat mostly web-based business, and the expression of the real “me”. And on this note, I’m going to pause here and go and take something out of my closet…be back in a sec.
And I’m back and as I was taking this particular piece of clothing out of the closet an inspiration for a matching hat came to me. So what I appear to be doing is designing and creating a uniform for my business enterprise.
The image of the “Guide of Wands” is of a man sporting angelic wings with one touching the earth and the other holding a wand pointing to the sky—divine energy and power grounded by the energy of the earth.
So the message is clear—be who you are, humbly accept the power and energy of the divine and keep your wits about you and stay level headed with the grounding energy of the earth. Appreciate and acknowledge the divine touch of grace in your life but do not think of it as your power and more of a divine gift that allows us to have a positive influence on life here on earth.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The Youth of Coins and Writing Down Plans
Friday, July 4th, 2014. Happy Independence Day to My US Neighbours Down South!
Another decent night of sleep but then the alarm had to go off and interrupt my great sleep. That’s okay there is always tomorrow and tomorrow being Saturday an all I should be able to sleep in. No worries either way as today was a great work day, a bit slow but these kind of days allow me to better focus on each of the tasks assigned to me throughout the day.
I am spirit and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Youth of Coins: Focusing on the physical. Beginning a regimen. Matters relating to nutrition and exercise.”
Planning is strikes me about the “Youth of Coins”. I need to have a plan or two in place for the start-up of my business. I need to have firm plans in place to guide me through the start-up process and then into tomorrow and all of the days beyond that. I have a few loose-ends to tie up and get over and done with so I’m ready to launch my website whenever it is ready for my eyes and eventual approval. I need to have a schedule in mind if I’m expecting to balance my current job with my new business. What hours will I keep? I really do need to have realistic aims here so I know where I want to be going with this new business venture.
I need to back and review a few notes I’ve jotted down over the past couple of months as these will have guide me and put me on the right track. Jotting down notes in whatever fashion is comfortable is very important and making sure there are dates on them including the year is a good habit to get into. And as with a few other cards that remind us to do the same, we must always keep our eyes open for opportunities to improve our lives.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The Ace of Cups and Possibilities
Thursday, July 3rd, 2014. I had a decent sleep and I would even have to say a lighthearted and uplifting sleep too. It was an overall good night of much needed rest even if I awoke a few times.
I am spirit and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Ace of Cups: A gift of love. The beginning of a love affair, friendship, or partnership.”
Trust in our intuition and deeper feelings as guides to making better choices is what the “Ace of Cups” is about for me however, I also get the sense that for a few out there this card is all about the beginnings of a great courtship and blossoming love. I must admit that today as the day wore on my sense of love for my partner was greater and deeper than I’ve ever felt before. The “Ace of Cups” is leading some of us into a deeper and more meaningful spiritual direction than what we could imagine.
Be open and alert to the slightest of possibilities and opportunities that are out there waiting for each of us. Be spiritually vigilant and aware and open your eyes, heart, mind and spirit to the all the possibilities than may be around the next corner…
Thank you Spirit.
Blessed Be.

XIII Death and Embracing Change with Confidence in the Future it Brings
Wednesday, July 2nd, 2014. I slept quite well although when I became more conscious of being awake I then felt the sunburned skin that kept me more awake than sleep as dawn and the sound of the alarm approached. However, I was not too bothered by either and the pending work day filled me with no worry.
I am spirit and today’s visiting Tarot Card is “XIII Death: Endings are beginnings. A phase of life is over. Allowing time to mourn. A part of yourself has outlived its usefulness.”
I’m not full accepting or embracing the change I desire in my life as I’m fearful of the consequences it may bring. At the same time, old habits and outdated and useless patterns of behavior are truly however slowly falling by the wayside. As much as I desire to be self-employed and solely responsible for my financial well-being I’m afraid to cut loose from a stable job and the almost “guaranteed income it provides me with. At the same time however, I know that this change or these changes are necessary for me to fulfill my life’s purpose and to live and work true to myself and my state of being.
I need to embrace this change, this risk, if you will and be as true to myself as I can be. I’m comfortable with the amount of time and effort I’ll need to put into this business, into myself in order to make it a success however, if this my purpose then it will never seem like work nor a waste of my time. It should by all accounts fill me with much pleasure and gratitude for being able to do this through the powerful divine touch of grace I’ve experienced in my life.
Thank You Spirit.
Blessed Be.

The Man of Coins and Combing Hard Work with Passion
Tuesday, July 1st, 2014. Happy Birthday Canada! Happy Canada Day!
I slept well and had a very relaxing sleep and I attribute this not only to the back pain and muscle relaxant I took but also to having read a few pages from a new book I purchased from Reflections Books this past weekend. I realized this, this morning when I tried to do a balancing exercise from this book. Last night I had a hard time balancing yet this morning without much thought I simply struck the pose and found myself balancing with ease.
Thank you Spirit.
The sun is shining I know what I need to do and will continue to work toward my goal of self-reliance. Another realization that came to me this morning with a bit of reflection on some number crunching I did yesterday is that “yes indeed I am willing to put in thirty days of work each month in order to be financially independent”. My goal or aim is to earn $75.00 per day from a variety of different offerings and through a variety of different channels.
Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “Man of Coins: Responsible and hard-working. Reliable. Dependable.”
I looked at this card and immediately knew that I needed to allow the passion I felt for my job yesterday shine through and flourish if I intend to keep the job for a while and use it as a springboard to self-employment and a self-reliant lifestyle. As I was going about my work walking from my office to the warehouse I felt connected with and happy with my current situation. I’m becoming more relaxed, focused, and at ease fulfilling my role as order taker and doing the job with the necessary passion and drive needed to make it successful for both myself and the company.
These are traits and the mindset I need to make a success for my own goals and desires live the lifestyle that I feel that I most desire and wish to live. In fact, I’m living this way already just a bit differently than I wish but acceptable enough to continue along this path until I feel ready to make the leap, indeed take the risk to become solely responsible for my own financial well-being.
Thank you Spirit.
Blessed Be.
