The 8 of Cups and Awaking to a Need to Adjust or Bring About Change

Friday, February 28, 2014.  The last day of February and a great day it is.  I awoke early and have been able to work with and commune with both Spirit and Tarot and reflect on today’s visiting Tarot Card.  In addition, I can make our lunches for today.  Great!

Thank You Spirit.

Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “8 of Cups: Farewell.  Moving on.  Leaving behind a person, a situation, or a part of yourself.”

I do know of some areas where I can change in my personal life however I’m also wondering if this is also pointing to need to change jobs?  My job is where I at times feeling defeated and lacking the energy to go on with making blind calls to people who do not want to receive them.  However, at the same time I know it is expected of me.  I hate making calls to businesses that have great potential for the company I work for but that refuse to accept my call or do business with us because we are blindly calling them and the decision makers at these businesses hate this very type of approach I am tasked to do.

But this card is asking that question have you awakened this morning with a heavy dose of dissatisfaction in your life or the realization that you awakened from your stupor to only realize that you are not or no longer are living your dream life?  Is changed needed or perhaps a only few tweaks here and there to get you back on course.  Or do you really need to strike out a new path and never look back at where you once were?

Much to contemplate today…

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

The 4 of Coins Again and Blocked Change

Friday, January 10th, 2014.  Awaking early is going to be tough however I really do miss my early morning moments of silence and solitude where all there is, is me and Spirit working with Tarot.  Today was not too bad as I awoke around 6am and was able to spend a little time by myself in the presence of Spirit and Tarot and allow a conversation to unfold.  As today’s visiting Tarot Card came to light my mind also awakened to the blockages that hinder my movement forward and expansion of life and living.  A little tweaking here and there of attitude and approach to the job and change tiptoes in.

Thank You Spirit.

Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card, third time since Sunday, is the “4 of Coins: The Lighting Director.  A position of power.  Wanting to control how others perceive things.”

A new approach and new way of thinking and a more relaxed demeanor evokes change and opens the doors to infinite possibilities and opportunities.  Lights come on and doors open and a little bit of renewal and freshening up takes place where you least expect.  Tiptoeing in with little baby steps but change none-the-less, change on all sides, a little more respect and understanding and voila there is agreement and a certain sense of your alright and I get you.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

8 of Coins and Much Hard Work Is Needed

I slept well and seemed ready to get out of bed somewhere between 5 and 6 however forced myself to stay in bed.  I did sleep but feel more lethargic than awake now that I am out of bed.  I had a strange dream about cleaning up a room, my room perhaps and organizing or re-organizing my closet space.  The room I was in was quite large and there was not a lot filling the room just a few boxes here and there and some other stuff I cannot really identify.  As I awoke I almost felt a sense of relief.  Time will tell what meaning in life this dream may have.

Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “8 of Coins: The Factory.  Skill and mastery.  Tedious, repetitive labor.  Slow and methodical progress.”

Now that I see this card again I understand why it is making another appearance as well as why it appeared in the first place.  I need to become a master of my talents and that requires tedious repetitive labour.  I need to study and practice and work hard with every ounce of being if I am to live out my dream, to fulfill my most passionate desires of living and traveling in an RV.  RVing is my biggest and most precious passion and desire.  I can no longer lie about this.  That is the lifestyle I want live and lead and I need to work my butt off in order to do it.  No more slacking off!

Ideas are more than welcome from anyone that may have suggestions.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

Repeating Card of the Day???

Sunday, October 28, 2012.  I slept quite well even with awaking a couple of times.  I think I could have slept longer if I just turned over and relaxed but I instead decided to and did get out of bed.  Last night as I was using the bathroom sometime around 8pm I noticed the towels were swaying or swinging back and forth and my immediate thought was Spirit, then perhaps a strong wind, or a small earthquake.  As it turns out an earthquake struck off the northern coast of the province at a magnitude of 7.7.  Were the swinging towels a result of this or Spirit or perhaps even both?

Spirit is and today’s visiting Tarot card is a repeat visitor and his message is very important, the “7 of Wands: Fighting the wind.  A quixotic struggle.  Winning against the odds.  Confrontation.”  I must not give up and I really need to muster up the courage to do what is needed of me, of myself in order to push forward with my dreams however foolish or unrealistic they may appear to be.  They are my dreams, they are tangible, real dreams and I’ve wanted to live out these dreams for a very long time so I mustn’t give up on them or myself.  I can do this.  I am doing this.  I did it!

Thank You Spirit.

Monday, October 29, 2012.  I pretty much slept right through the night, only briefly awaking once when my partner got out of bed and another earlier in my sleep cycle.  I never even had to use the bathroom.  I could have probably slept longer but it was almost 7am so I decide to get up and out of bed.

We had a nice visit with a friend yesterday afternoon and evening and dinner was very good.  It’s a recipe out of the “Memories of Cuba” cookbook that is a combination or ham, bacon, garlic, onion, corn, green pepper, cabbage, and tomatoes either whole, diced or in sauce form.  All of these are combined with salt, pepper, and cooking sherry.  We served it over rice instead of cooking the rice with the rest of the ingredients.

Spirit is and today’s visiting Tarot card is again, the “7 of Wands: Fighting the wind.  A quixotic struggle.  Winning against the odds.  Confrontation.”  I have to commit myself 110% to the pursuit and realization of my dreams and goals.  My solutions to any problems must be well thought out and committed to in a way that the solution is well executed and done to the best of my abilities.  I must strive for dare I say perfection.  Here I am thinking both about my remodel and repairs to the RV as well as when making my cards and other crafts.  I must be fully involved and paying attention to the tasks at hand, no thought of other things when I must and should be working on one thing at a time.

Thank You Spirit.

I hope I am understanding the importance of the "7 of Wands" appearing now three days in a row and 4 out of the last seven days however I'd like to ask for others, your insight into this just in case I'm missing something.  Your advice, suggestions and what not are greatly appreciated and I sincerely thank you for your comments.

Blessed Be.
