"11 The Woodward" and Harnessing Our Inner Strength

Spirit Is and today's Wildwood Tarot Energy is "11 The Woodward: Through adversity or the process of re-balancing in life, we find courage within ourselves that flows from an unknown source.  Sometimes that courage has to do with facing unavoidable truth or dealing with a person or problem that no amount of physical confrontation or emotional bravery will resolve.  The Woodward's strength, drawn from nature's inherent power to renew and overcome, is needed if we are to foresee what is to come and wait upon the turning of the seasons. Sometimes, when faced with a challenging situation, we must find our own inner backstop, the point from which we will not retreat or from which we can move forward with quiet confidence.  The Wildwood ethos has to teach humanity about calm, resolute strength."
Sometimes, what's needed is an inner, well-focused and resolute strength in order for us to see our plans and goals through to completion.  Oftentimes, this will not happen until we're pushed to our limits where we are teetering on the edge of a cliff and where a shift in our balance one way or another will either lead to a more solid footing or a great fall.  We all have the strength within us to succeed but we don't always know how to channel or make this inner strength work for us.  At least, not until we are pushed to the extreme where it becomes a "do" or "die" situation, if you will.

But realising this should be enough for us to connect with this inner strength and use it to carry us forward to see our goals through to their successful completion.  We need to become one with our goals, to let our goals become a part of the very fabric of our being so much so that they help provide us with the focus, strength and momentum needed that carries us forward to meet our future selves, living the fruits of our labour and fulfillment of our goals.

Thank You Spirit.

'11 The Woodward' and Strength Out of Weakness

Friday, November 13th, 2015.  Another work week has come to an end however the day has become a day of violence and mourning as Paris has again come under attack.  May we all send our healing and loving light and energy to the Parisian's who need all the support they can get in their time in need.

Sleep was kind to me last night although I wanted to staying sleeping even with the sweet serenade of the alarm and the soft awaking it provides us.  But as always we slipped out of bed and got on with our day.  Besides, the job is not all that bad and is at times somewhat relaxing and dare I say enjoyable.

However, with having said that, I must admit and maybe even lament the fact that I'm not actively working with Spirit or Tarot during the day and this is something I simply love to be doing.  Soon it will be so!

Oh, and it is once again Lucky Friday the 13th.

Spirit Is and today's Tarot Energy is "11 The Woodward: Through adversity or the process of rebalancing in life, we find courage within ourselves that flows from an unknown source.

I'm not a victim.  I demand and deserve to be treated with respect and my passivity is not and should not be perceived as weakness.

Strength comes in many forms and one is a quiet resolute strength we can learn and adopt from and synchronize and harmonize with nature and tap into when we need it most.  I'm sure many if not all of us have experienced this type of strength that seemingly comes from nowhere when we are ready to or have given up because our own strength is tapped out.  And we think to ourselves that we have nothing more to give and then this burst of energy comes out of nowhere and helps us give that one extra push that is just enough to accomplish the seemingly impossible.  Sometimes even going so far as to sacrifice their own lives to save another.

The best lesson that nature has to teach us is for us to simply "BE".

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

'11 The Woodward' and Finding Strength and Maturity to Move Forward

Sunday, November 1st, 2015.  All Saints Day.

I hope everyone had a safe and blessed Samhain.  I had such a busy day that by the time I could rest it was almost bedtime so I performed a quick and simple Samhain Ritual that went relatively smoothly considering how droopy with sleep my eyes were.  And you, it felt great.  I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and look forward to my next ritual, likely for the next Full Moon.

Why and how could I be so busy?

I cleaned house, washed, dried, and folded laundry, quickly did some last minute shopping so I could bake a few batches of peanut butter cookies,  I drove to Serenity (camper can) to drop off the bedding we use in the van and I also dyed a white cotton/linen (doctors medical) jacket brown.  It's not as I dark brown as I wanted but for now it's fine and I'll see if I can dye it darker another time.  This jacket is going to be my 'Ritual Robe'.  And finally I also had to make time for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.  The day certainly disappears fast when one is busy, that's for sure.

Spirit Is and today's Tarot Energy is "11 The Woodward: Through adversity or the process of rebalancing in life, we find courage within ourselves that flows from an unknown source. I awoke with a desire to move to a more rural area yet still be within a reasonable driving distance from Vancouver.  The city of Chilliwack came to mind as did working in the RV or an RV related industry.  I'm not sure where this idea stems from however I did awake in the middle of the night to grab my Wildwood Tarot and bag of stones and crystals and crawl back into bed with them   I slept very well and awoke close to 6:30am, Standard Time.  I slept in as I was in bed around 10:30pm Daylight Savings Time.

I can have all I desire if I just find the emotional strength and maturity with which to move forward and truly pursue my dreams and goals.  I'm being held back by the fear of taking a risk, a risk on myself and the future I desire.  I'm close but I still have not found my "own inner backstop" from which I will not retreat.  I'm doing much to get there but I still have yet to take that one final leap of faith that will take me to where I wish to go.

I see and know what I must do!

Do you?

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

'11 The Woodward' and Quiet Resolute Strength

Wednesday, August 5th, 2015.  My sore throat remains, I've developed a bit of a cough and I've got the sniffles.  I slept well as I'm drinking some 'Organic Cold 911' Tea from David's Tea and taking an over the counter cold and sinus medication.

The frustrating thing about colds like this is that one get's a false sense of feeling good and recovery as I felt this morning.  I looked forward to going to the gym after work but not feeling so great this afternoon.  As was yesterday around 2:30 - 3:00pm I started feeling crappy the same time today.  Maybe it's just because I've had two very busy days and drained all of my energy.  Recovery is setting in though, I can feel it.

Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is "11 The Woodward: Through adversity or the process of rebalancing in life, we find courage within ourselves that flows from an unknown source. For me this card today is all about "rebalancing in life".  This is only possible for many of us because we discovered nature's calm, resolute strength and how to tie into it and bring it into and use in our own lives.  It pays to be still, quiet and open to the voice, sway, energy and spirit of nature.  Challenges seem to become less intense and more manageable difficult still but not so overwhelming as it may have been before.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

'11 The Woodward' and Recognizing the Natural Power Within

Sunday, July 26th, 2015.  A late lunch of Chicken Noodle Soup provided me with the strength and energy needed to lift myself out of the snare of sickness that trapped me in the wee hours of the morning.  I slowly got myself mobile after lying in bed for another hour or so as I was still weak and tired from this ordeal.  However, once I dragged myself out of bed and got moving I quickly felt better and was able to eat dinner and a fresh baked Morning Glory Muffin for dessert...yummy.

We showered and relaxed for the rest of the evening.  Spirit and energy filled and flowed through me as I read several articles in the June 2015 'Science of Mind Guide For Spiritual Living', Volume 88, Number 6.  Empowering, eye-opening and very uplifting reading.  I think I'll subscribe to this wonderful magazine.

After such wonderfully uplifting reading I slipped into bed and had a magical sleep and awoke feeling renewed, refreshed and spiritually energized, strengthened and alive.  Wow!

Thank You Spirit.

"11 The Woodward" is all about drawing on the natural strength that is within us all and our thoughts and words control this power and it is knowing that we this power within us and that we can use it to transform and enrich our lives in ways we thought were impossible.  We must put to use our creative imaginations to bring peace, love, and joy into our lives and the lives of others.  As we transform ourselves we can then assist others in transforming ourselves.  The more we understand and utilize this natural power within us the more positive and constructive our lives become.  We have to allow ourselves to return to our natural state of being and understand that this natural power will respond to or conscious direction and have no lingering doubts about this to be so.

Thank You Spirit.

'11 The Woodward'

Monday, July 6th, 2015.  We had another decent day yesterday although the smoky skies didn't make being outdoors a fun activity so we stayed mostly inside except for an outing so one us could get a haircut and then we went out for an afternoon coffee, chilled of course, considering the heat wave we're experiencing.  Then it was back home to relax and do some house chores and just simply be.

Actually, I was working on improving my blogs and website so that they become more attractive, visited, read, and revenue generating.  All in thanks due to the blessings of the cosmos and the wonderful individuals like you that stop by and read my humble blog.  Thank so very much from the bottom of my heart.

Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is "11 The Woodward: Through adversity or the process of rebalancing in life, we find courage within ourselves that flows from an unknown source. What will drive you to harness the inner strength needed to overcome difficult situations or crises.  How far will you have to get pushed before you finally raise your hand and put your foot down and say "No! That's enough!"

Love and aggression. Patience, hate and anger.  Opposite emotions and finding a way to balance them can empower and strengthen you in ways unimaginable.  As will facing your own inner darkness and slaying that monster of fear that often paralyzes you in your tracks.  Face that darkness for it is a part of you.  Forget about fearing it and instead harness it's energy to rise up with calm resolute strength and let your voice be heard.

You matter.  And what  you have to say is important, as important as what anyone else has to say.  Let yourself fill the room with a presence never felt before, the presence of courage, strength, perseverance, and a person who has finally found and accepted themselves.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

'11 The Woodward'

Sunday, May 31, 2015.  Although we didn't get home shortly after 9:00pm I was able to get quite a bit accomplished such as finishing off my daily Tarot thoughts, reading a blog, and flipping through a few more pages of 'do less' by Rachel Jonat before heading off to bed around 11:00pm.

I awoke and hopped out of bed shortly after seven this morning and quickly got on with my day, getting my morning cup of coffee and communing with Spirit and Tarot before heading off to the gym for my workout.

Spirit Is and today's Tarot is "11 The Woodward: Through adversity or the process of rebalancing in life, we find courage within ourselves that flows from an unknown source.

Allow yourself to be stripped bare to the very core of your being so you can find and muster the calm, resolute, and inner strength needed to carry yourself forth on the journey of deepest desires and dreams or to be able to deal with a challenging person or situation.  Sometimes in order for us to create a life or bring about change we need to challenged and pushed to our limits so that we find ourselves and what is most important to us and worth fighting for but in a positive, loving, and respectful manner.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.
