Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at 7:50pm. My first short circle travel with Serenity our camper van came to light this afternoon as I was enjoying my lunch break, one of my favourite parts of the work day, by the way. I've decided that since I or we need to use the van more often than not I'll take weekend trips to campgrounds within a two or three hour drive of Vancouver.
My first stop will be the Othello Tunnels Campground and RV Park as it just happens to be conveniently located next to the Othello Tunnels, a part of the TransCanada Trail network. Besides that, the cozy little town of Hope is down the road. My next outing will take me to the Emory Creek Campground near Yale. I've always wanted to stay in this campground as far back as I can remember.
Can't wait to see how my plans fall into place over the next several months...

'XI Strength' and Redirecting Passions and Powerful Energies
Sunday, April 10, 2016. We decided to do an urban hike yesterday so we headed to Vancouver. We exited the train at the Main Street/Science World Station and walked along the north side of False Creek. It was as always a beautiful walk. We took our walk onto the streets and grabbed a coffee at one of our favourite coffee and pastry places, Baguette and Co on Davie Street near Thurlow. And to no surprise both our Americanos and muffins were superb! We picked a couple of items before returning home.
Spirit Is and today's Gay Tarot Energy is "XI Strength: Directing your passions, rather than suppressing them, is the key. Finding healthy outlets for powerful energies.”
Directing passion and giving healthy outlets to powerful energies that come from within are absolutely key in each of us finding our individual paths to success or to have continued success in our lives. Unbridled passions and unchecked energies can run amok in our lives so be on guard so that neither your passions nor the powerful energy that swells from within gets away from you.
This really just hit home for me as I sit here writing this. Although, I thought was directing my passions and energy in a good way I was somewhat missing the point and the mark of how and where I should be directing them. I guess in a way today is a day of review for me and allows me to realign and redirect my energies so they have both a better and stronger impact on the direction where I am taking my life.

Listening to and Living In Tune with Your Environment
Monday, March 28, 2016. A bit of a sleepless night for the both of us. I awoke every couple of hours whereas my partner spent an hour sitting out in the living room for an hour or so before returning to bed and still struggling to fall asleep. But I did not a chance to feel tired today as I spent most of the day out of the office which was very nice. I even enjoyed along the north shore waterfront and sat on a bench overlooking the water for about 30 minutes soaking up the sun. Beautiful!
Sitting on the bench brought images of sitting under sunny skies and working the Tarot for passer's by bringing a little bit of their inner stories to life for them...happiness and joy and deep spiritual connections filled me with much light and love. What a stunning day!
Spirit Is and today's Gay Tarot Energy is the “2 of Coins: Tai Chi. Flexibility. “Going with the flow”. Living in tune with your environment.”
"Living in tune with your environment” is what it's all about today and that's exactly what I did. I simply took an entirely relaxed approach to the day and didn't fret about how much time I was spending performing the tasks I had to complete. I didn't return to the office until after 4:00pm and didn't fret a bit about what I had to do or how long it would take but I left the job a mere three minutes past quitting time!
Experience based faith, trust, and a firm belief in the energy and Spirit of the cosmos, the energy and Spirit that connects us all fills me with the divine knowledge that, yes indeed will I be standing up on my own two feet and earning my own keep through my own actions: spiritualism, spiritual coaching, intuitive tarot, chakra work, and mystical research.

'XV The Devil' and Finding Ways to Clear Our Mind
Sunday, November 29th, 2015. By late morning, we were on the train headed downtown to take a walk around Stanley Park for however long the mood to walk carried us. First however we had to find a place for lunch. We decided on Steamrollers, a quick and decent lunch before heading off to the park for our walk. The day was cold and crisp for Vancouver but the sun was shining and a short walk and the sights and sounds of the park beckoned us.
We didn't end up walking all that far however we managed about three kilometres along the seawall and however long our walk through the city too us. Before heading home we stopped for an afternoon coffee and pastry at Baguette and Co and a quick walk through TOPMAN. Our only layout of cash was for our food and the transit fare to and from downtown but we had a great day out were back home around 5:00pm.
The evening for me was spent working on my model railroad and the other half practiced piano. Then by 11:00pm we were crawling into bed.
Spirit Is and today's Tarot Energy is the "XV The Devil. Matter overpowers mind. Desires rule. Beware of your dark side. The pursuit of materialistic or sensual pleasures may taint your ability to think clearly. Cleanse yourself of behaviors and habits that are doing you no good. When reversed: Things are unclear for you now. Don’t let yourself be intimidated and don’t judge others too harshly. Others seem uptight, set in their ways. Are you? Don’t let past issues cloud today’s progress."
Do what you can to clear your mind if you find our thoughts scattered or find it difficult to concentrate. Perhaps, spend a moment or two with one of your houseplants, if you have any or a quick trip out into your backyard. Or even grab a gemstone or crystal that can ground you and help clear your mind. A moment or two with eyes closed and in silence can do wonders to settle and clears one's mind.
Do your best to bite your tongue before speaking, keep an open mind and look at yourself, take a long hard look in the mirror before casting judgment on someone else. Our thoughts and words can come back to bite us if we don't show restraint when we know we should.
We all need to do more and keep our minds in check as well as keep them healthy and clear of the muck and mire that can pollute them when we allow the worst of our own humanity get the better of us.
Hug a tree and clear your mind!
