The Nine of Swords and Ridding Yourself of Worry Once and For All and a Spider Visits

The weekend has arrived giving me another couple of days to pull myself and my spiritual career together and take another few steps away from the job that no longer fits my needs.

Spirit Is and today's Pagan Tarot Energy is the "Nine of Swords: Our Witch is having one of those mercilessly sleepless nights.  Every worry and concern presses down on her.  The weight of the world prevents her from relaxing in any way.  Nor is she being productive...all the crying in the world won't solve any of her problems.  It's likely that you may find yourself having a sleepless night or two.  Be aware that this kind of unproductive worry doesn't solve anything.  You are fully capable of handling these things that are bothering you.  As soon as you do, you'll enjoy restful sleep again."
If stress, worry and maybe a hint of fear are keeping you awake at night the most important thing you should focus on is that "You are fully capable of handling these things that are bothering you."

I know that this is more than true and that weights are truly lifted off of your shoulders and he world looks and becomes a much brighter place and then when you fall asleep, "you'll enjoy restful sleep again."

The best way to handle this is to take control of your life and accept the responsibilities you have.  One big way to do this is to find something that grabs your passion, something you strive for rather than wasting energy on running away from something...it works, I tell you, it really works.

During my lunch break a visitor dropped by unannounced but more than welcome and she stayed with me as I drove from Langley to Abbotsford once I finished lunch.  I'm not sure what type of spider she is but general speaking seeing a spider is about "weaving fate".  Letting me know that I shouldn't "take the roundabout way -- be straight."  That I should 'weave something new' and "trust feeling more than seeing."  Animal-Speak Pocket Guide, Dragonhawk Publishing, Jackson, TN, 2009
So I trust that I'm on the right track and do indeed have important thoughts, ideas and words to contribute to the general discourse out there.  I don't want contribute by standing on a soapbox though.  I want to contribute by example and through spiritual and genuine communication whereby the discussion is authentic, real and heartfelt...truly driven by and guided by Spirit.

Thank You for your visit, my dear spider friend.

Thank You Spirit.

XII The Hanged Man and Spider Symbolism

Yesterday I wanted to write about my Spider Full Moon but got sidetracked and never did fully write about the Spider and the Full Moon.  And since I never did that yesterday I want to explore the Spider Full Moon in more depth today and write something about it.  Another project for the day on top of doing my taxes and working on yet another new craft project.  Will I ever stop expanding my craft projects?

This new project is somewhat fun but I think I still prefer doing this type of craft what I will call the old fashioned way.  Won’t spill the beans about what I’m working on yet.  I want to see the finished product before I reveal anything more.

Thank You Spirit.

Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Car is “XII The Hanged Man: Living in the moment.  Being fully absorbed in the present.  Non-attachment to goals.  Seeing things from a new angle.”

I’m finding myself appreciating and gaining new insight into my day-to-day life and experiences.  Each day is it own now and I am more fully focused on the day I have before me rather than dreaming about the future as I have often done in the past.

From a quick glance at the web here is what I found about Spiders:

“The spider is a spirit animal whose purpose is to inspire you to gain
perspective on an issue or project you contemplate taking on. Feel free to
explore the many facets of the problem you are facing in order to find the
appropriate solution. The power of this animal encourages you to count on your
ability to view things from multiple angles and weave mental and intuitive
flexibility into your daily thinking.”  http://www.spiritanimal.info/spider-spirit-animal/

Thank You Spirit for bring Spider into my life and doing so on the morning of the Full Moon, the Spider Full Moon is what came to me as I went out onto the deck yesterday to absorb the great energies of the Moon as did the Spider in her web beside me.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.
