Rested quite well, sleep was refreshing although awaking before the alarm is a bit irksome but it does happen on occasion. Besides, I feel very close to and well-connected with Spirit and why shouldn't I? We're all spirit after all, aren't we?
Spirit Is and today's Gay Tarot Energy is the “4 of Cups: The Audition. A new opportunity or choice presents itself. Everything hangs in the balance. Nervousness, excitement.” and the “4 of Coins: The Lighting Director. A position of power. Wanting to control how others perceive things.”
A new opportunity has presented itself however it will put me in a perceived position of power when I start seeing clients in the coming days and knowing such I need to be wary of adopting a position of control over them. As although they may come to me for spiritual guidance or answers to questions they have or even to oversee their wedding ceremony I must always keep myself in check and stay on equal ground with them. Although my education may provide me with a means of offering assistance to them by no means am I better than them or in a higher category than they are. We are equal and this must always be top of mind for me.
And as you may have noticed two cards are filling the day with their energy today. They slipped out of the deck as one as I was meditating with and shuffling the cards. Two cards to show that an opportunity is out there but that at the same time the opportunity comes with its challenges.

Slept a bit better last due to the cooler weather. We had dinner out with a friend and walked into the restaurant out of the heat of the day but when we left the restaurant we walked out into the unexpected chill of the evening. Quite the drastic change and bit hard to take. As it was today, many people were bundled up in heavy jackets.
Dreaming about a re-tooling of my website and my offerings as I work on getting paperwork filled out and payments ready to send in an effort to become part of an organization with members like myself with many resources available to me that will assist me in transitioning from being a paid employee to an independent financially self-supporting individual, and living my dream.
Spirit Is and today's Gay Tarot Energy is the “2 of Coins: Tai Chi. Flexibility. “Going with the flow”. Living in tune with your environment.”
The energy of the “2 of Coins" is encouraging us to attune our energies to that of spirit, of nature, of the cosmos. We need to reach higher with our spirits to move beyond the limitation of our humanness. We need to stretch ourselves beyond our physicalness and peer into the world of spirit, of nature, of the cosmos so that we can see how we can better live in tune with our environment thus creating a better world for all.

A new week but a week with new thoughts and feelings about where Spirit is taking me as revealed with the appearance of "XIX The Sun" yesterday. Just let Spirit be and lead the way as Spirit has good things in store for me is what I'm hearing again today.
Spirit Is and today's Gay Tarot Energy is the “7 of Wands: Fighting the wind. A Quixotic struggle. Winning against the odds. Confrontation.”
Now even though Spirit has good things in store for me I have to prepare and be ready at any time, on a moments notice as Spirit does not work on human time and could want me to drop everything and follow its lead. Spirit is my source of courage, strength, perseverance, endurance, ideas, thoughts, and desires.
However, when we let our human selves get in the way we are often faced with confrontation and struggle. This is why it is so important to let our natural selves, our spiritual selves go out and deal with the world we live in. When we live in the world of spirit we more often than not live a life of wonderful coincidences and much serendipity.
I'll finally take the leap and go for it. I really need to be me and the “7 of Wands" is letting me know that I'm "Winning against the odds".

Daylight Savings Time is here so it's now 7:56 instead of 6:56 Sunday morning. I realistically think that we could simply stop with the clock changing twice a year and see no problems erupt if we do.
So far it's a very relaxing weekend, even doing our weekly grocery was not a pain as the store was not busy although, the self-checkout scanner was giving us more problems than usual. We swapped roles last night as my partner cooked dinner and I washed dishes. It's nice to taste someone else's cooking, always seems to taste better than if we make it ourselves.
Spirit Is and today's Gay Tarot Energy is the “3 of Swords".
Although I do not feel that this “3 of Swords" does not apply to me at this very moment, it maybe pointing to a time later in the day. However, having said that this “3 of Swords" is a reminder not to wallow in self-pity or self-loathing. We must deal with our emotions by controlling them to the best of our abilities and the best way we can do this is by accepting that we have control over and control the way we feel.
In this instance, if we get emotionally wounded today, we can feel and acknowledge the hurt but then move on before the negativity of such emotions drag us down and steer us away from the healing needs to take place. We need to keep our hearts and minds clear so that the necessary healing comes to us and helps us to see that although we may be emotionally scarred we are still strong and resilient enough to carry on and move forward with our lives.
