Mud Bay Park Bike Ride, the Eight of Arrows and What A Life I Have

Sunday, May 1, 2016.

Mud Bay Park-after a morning of working on my model railroad and tuning up my life as Wizard Oron yesterday morning we decided to take our bikes out and go for a ride.  As in putting the bike rack on the car, loading the bikes onto the bike rack and then driving somewhere as in a more natural setting so we can enjoy the ride.

The only hiccup  being the volume of traffic on the roads as one bridge crossing over the Fraser River is closed for repairs.  Other than that and having to backtrack a little bit to get to Mud Bay Park the ride was an enjoyable one.  Oh, after stopping at our turn-around point I realized I forgot my backpack at our first stop--OOPS!  There goes my wallet, phone, car keys, house keys, money, Tarot Cards, water bottle...so back on my bicycle I got and rode back the way we came as fast as I could...where's my bag...where did we stop?  Then a certain landmark jumped out at me, something I took notice of during our stop...Thank You Spirit!  There's my bag...YAY!  And everything is still in it...Yippee!  Maybe with my bag being green it blended in with the surroundings more and nobody took notice of it...WHEW!  Disaster averted.

Our ride was about a 15KM return trip although the trail is much longer (Boundary Bay Dyke Trail) than that so we might have to go back and ride from the other end.  It's a great little bike ride to take as you have somewhat of an ocean view on one side and mountains on the other and since it is a hard packed gravel trail more it lends itself to a more casual and relaxed ride that is, if you don't forget you bag on a rock somewhere along the way.

We then had ourselves a late lunch.  I headed off to the bank after to change my US currency back into Canadian and then made a pit stop at the local liquor establishment to pick up a case of beer for someone who likes to have a beer once in awhile...where a case of beer can last months.  Then back home I came to again work on my model railroad and do more Wizard Orony stuff...enjoyable activities where time disappears on you and you suddenly find yourself almost having to get ready for bed but you need to eat dinner first...where did the time go?

It's now Sunday morning, 7:51am, the beautiful morning beckoned me out of bed around 6:00am...a quick couple of coffees and a bit of cleaning later and working with Tarot I now find myself sitting contemplating today's Wildwood Tarot Energy, the "Eight of Arrows: However much we wish that divisive and conflicting issues and moral dilemmas didn't exist in our lives, sometimes they are an unavoidable part of the journey.  If we are lucky, we have the support  and sympathy of friends and loved ones to help us del with the struggle, but not always.  Sometimes, because of the very personal nature of the problem, we are alone, dealing with a thorny dilemma that only the individual at the centre of the issue can negotiate.  The choices can be painful and stark.  The path may appear fraught with unfamiliar obstacles and pitfalls, and with no obvious remedy.  All these elements may strain our core beliefs, causing us to doubt the validity of previous choices.  Such profound personal struggles require calm, decisive and resolute action.  Reach down into the very core of your being and summon all the reserves of your courage and wisdom.  See honestly what the issue will require for you to resolve it and present those who might be a part to the problem with an implacable and unyielding dedication.  View this necessary sojourn with clear eyes and a resolute heart, for to overcome these tests of life makes us stronger."

I know what I want and I know more or less what I have to do but it is actually making the decision to move forward that is holding me up, or holding me back.  I might not be able to have exactly the kind of mobile lifestyle I need but I can get close to it especially now that I have a nice camper van in which to travel and evidence that blogging does reach people, more people than I imagine and I am hopefully making a positive difference in people's lives through my blogs.  After all, I am here to help others as best as I can.

Proper debt management and good use of social media, my van, and my talents will have me on the road here and there and will lead me to exciting experiences well beyond what I can imagine as well as lead to new, powerful and enduring relationships that will lead to ever more unique, inspiring and enriching spiritual experiences.

Boy, do I ever have it good!

What a lucky guy I am to have such a life as this!

Thank You Spirit.

Namaste.

Standing Up On My Own Two Feet

Saturday, March 26, 2016 at 6:34pm and I'm doing my best to keep distractions at bay so I can further my plans as I enjoy this journey toward achieving my goals of traveling and living in and working from our camper van, Serenity.  I've created a nice little portable spiritual altar or nook for myself that will likely find a home in the front of the van as there is a small round table that can be planted in the floor there...and the seats can rotate as well so I have a nice cozy place to meditate, commune with Spirit, work with Tarot.  Then I will record my story through blogs, twitter, Instagram and maybe even YouTube.

A journey of learning, gaining knowledge and wisdom and finding out just how wonderful people can be as we all continue to build our relationships with Spirit on this journey of life we get to experience...a cosmic gift that we must not waste.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

'XXI The World' and Having Patience For Change

Sunday, March 6, 2016.  So my sleepless Friday night made for an uncomfortable, hazy, struggle to stay awake Saturday where I was hardly able to function.  I took a quick catnap after lunch but didn't feel much better.  Not until dinner did I start feeling "normal" again, still tired but at least I could function without struggling to keep my brain awake.  We had a nice meal mixed with a diverse conversation with friends we met at All India Sweets.

Today's Gay Tarot Energy is “XXI The World: Life can be a heavy burden or a joyful one, it is mostly up to you.  Transcending your circumstances by changing them or accepting what can’t be changed.

Transcending our circumstances may not always be as quick of a "fix" as we'd like it to be and in so recognizing this fact we must have patience and not give up our desire to improve our situation in life.  Giving up the fight is what many of us do and then we come to resent life and take up the role of being a victim.  However, we're not true victims, we're simply victims of our lack of will to put in the energy and commitment to change what we can of our lives so that living life is a joyful endeavour for us.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

Page of Arrows - Wren and the Two of Bows - Decision and this blog is not moving!

Sunday, July 5th, 2015.  Hope everyone is having an enjoyable weekend.  We're blessed with sunny, hot dry weather however it is wreaking havoc on our forests and hence our air quality.  Here in the metro Vancouver region we awoke to smoke filled skies as a result of the jet stream and air flow I suppose that is pulling all of the heavy smoke away from the northern and interior sections of the province and landing it here.

We're making do by limiting our outdoor activities and holing up indoors whether at a mall or now here at home.  My lungs really do not like breathing in that smoke so I'm happy to be indoors and out of the blazing hot sun and smoky skies.

We had a relaxing evening at home after a late morning early afternoon stay at the beach and some errands.  We had a nice dinner and simply relaxed the evening away reading, watching a bit of television and enjoying each other's company.  What a great Saturday!

I slept very well last night and awoke just around 7:00am.  I pondered not going to the gym however once I was out of bed and had a bit of coffee in me and the Tarot of the Day before me I simply found myself getting dressed and going to the gym.  What a great feeling!

Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot of the Day is the "Page of Arrows, Wren: Study and application brings wisdom and understanding which can be applied to most situations.  Your youth and determination will carry you forward and your nascent skills bring you to a dynamic realization.  Watchfulness, Mystery, Determination, Work, Scholarship, Wisdom, A vigilant guardian."

What must we do to move forward and find success in our lives?  Study and apply the wisdom, knowledge and understanding we gain from such study to our passions and endeavors, whatever they may be.  It can go a long way especially if we asked for the blessing and guidance of Spirit and the cosmos as we go about the pursuit of what is important to us.

As I was waiting for my partner and eating an early lunch I chose a Tarot for today as well.  As I was shuffling the deck this morning a couple of cards drifted to the floor, one them being the "Two of Bows, Decision: The bow represents not just the potential energy latent within any situation, but the need to direct and manage that energy to achieve your goals.  This can mean first movement towards reinvigorating and reforming the relationship with life.  It requires the decisive will to step across a threshold and take control in a positive and proactive manner.  Sometimes this may require a reclaiming and remaking of the mental and emotional tools and energies that are required to move on in life.  By preparing to step up and through the gateway and make a choice to allow forward momentum to flow naturally, the fashioning of a new mental discipline or processes, or the reawakening of a previously effective but abandoned one, may be required.  By summoning and directing the powerful, healing energies available to you, the rough-hewn bow stave can be grasped and the process of shaping and crafting your destiny can begin.  You stand at a crucial crossroads from which you can now move forward with confidence.  Once the decision to take control of these elements and harness and direct your power is made, a new paradigm of possibilities is released.  These energies will need skilful harnessing and responsible management to reach their full and effective potential."

I chose this card as it is a significant expression of my decision to not only buy a camper van but to also resurrect if you will one of my earlier and original blogs as well reclaim and remake "the mental and emotional tools and energies that are required to move on in life".  I've stepped across a threshold and have taken "control in a positive and proactive manner".

I'm not simply going to buy and let this camper van sit while I work and pay for it.  No, instead I'm going to be an active and proactive blogger doing my best to create a blog or two that will generate an income which I can then use to travel in my new to me camper van thus fulfilling one of my biggest dreams...traveling the roads of North America.  I hope you'll join me for the ride and do what you can to support this long held dream of mine.  I thank you in advance for tagging along and the support you give me.

Stay tuned for more information to come.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.
