VIII Justice and Accepting Ourselves

The first day of summer yesterday was gray yet dry and somewhat sunny at times.  A quiet day at home after a quick work out at the gym and short outing in the afternoon for coffee and a couple of items from the grocery for dinner.  I did a little beading, studying, and baking as the evening played out.  I just took the “Sticky Buns” out of the oven, they smell delicious.

Thank You Spirit.

Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is “VIII Justice: Even today, gays can be the victims of “justice”.  An unfair judgment.  Being too judgmental or righteous.  Feeling restricted by others’ expectations.”

The image of the card is what looks to be a prison and as the sun rises and shines through the window it reveals Lady Justice, just outside the window, it also reveals what once was in the shadows of the prison, two hands reaching out for one another.  As the sun rises it not only reveals what once was in the shadows but also the possibilities that life has to offer.  As we open our eyes and see the light many paths and options may be revealed to us.

And the restrictions we may at times feel may not so much come from others but rather ourselves, we are at times our own worst critics and can at times cast harsh judgements on ourselves.  As we want to be accepted by others, we too must be accepting of ourselves.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.
